【奈良 橿原 女ひとり歩き】藤原宮跡コスモス・提灯まつりのおふさ観音・タイムスリップした今井町 心安らぐ町歩きを満喫

Hello everyone. In October 2024, I wanted to see the cosmos at the Fujiwara Palace ruins, so I came to Kashihara City, Nara Prefecture. After admiring the cosmos, I took a walk around the area. Arrived at Kintetsu Yamatoyagi Station. Exit the ticket gate and head to the south exit. The bus terminal soon came into view. This was the boarding area. This is the first stop. This is a Kashihara City community bus, and the frequency is small. Please take a look at the Kashihara City Community Bus link in the summary section. You will pay the fare when you get off the bus. Transportation IC cards can also be used. The fare is 170 yen for adults and 90 yen for children. I got off at the nearest stop, “Kashihara City Fujiwarakyo Material Room”. The ride time was about 20 minutes. You can see the Yamato Sanzan. It looks like this. I’m looking forward to it! There is a free parking lot, so it may be recommended to come by car. Admission is also free. It takes about 30 minutes to walk from the station. Usually, the best time to see them is from early to late October. I was surprised to find that there are varieties with unusual petal shapes. You can enjoy one wheel at a time. It is said that you can enjoy seasonal flowers here at the Fujiwara Palace Ruins. You can enjoy rape blossoms in the spring, Hanahas and Kibana cosmos in the summer, and cosmos in the fall. It’s attractive in every season! This is my first time here, and it’s a historic place with a view of the mountains in the background, and it feels spacious and open. I’m glad I came to see so many cosmos! Next, we will head to Ofusa Kannon. About 15 minutes walk from Fujiwara Palace Ruins. There was also a sign saying 50m left. I came to “Sanaburi-ya”. Wheat mochi, which has been passed down in Yamato since ancient times, is apparently a specialty. You can take it home or eat in. The Sanaburi Mochi set was 400 yen. It’s soft and has plenty of soybean flour. This wheat mochi is made by mixing whole wheat flour and sticky rice. Inside the store, “Kashihara Sanaburi Ondo” was playing as BGM. The slightly bumpy texture was appealing! Thank you for the meal! When you leave the store, Ofusa Kannon is just a short walk away. This is “Ofusa Kannon”. It is said to be beneficial for physical health, prevention of depression, and warding off evil spirits. Wow, so many red lanterns! It was during the lantern festival, and more than 1,000 lanterns were displayed on the grounds. It is said that lanterns have been used to ward off evil spirits and misfortune since ancient times. During this period, night illuminations are held several times a month. The lights at night must be magical too! This is the main hall. The principal image is the Eleven-faced Kannon. It is believed that Kannon is believed to be a goddess who can make all kinds of wishes come true. When I went deeper, I saw some cute and beautiful killifish. There is also a Japanese garden, with beautiful carp swimming around. The brightly colored lanterns will brighten your soul. Many roses are grown within the grounds. Autumn roses are late this year, and it looks like they’re coming. There is a rose festival in spring and autumn, and a wind chime festival in summer. It was a wonderful temple, with a folk-like feel and peace of mind. Next, we will head to Imai Town. You can get there in about 14 minutes on foot. Imai-cho is a town with a historic townscape. First, I went to “Hanairaka” at the Imai Machinami Exchange Center. It is a beautiful and symmetrical building. This building is said to be a good example of Meiji architecture. In the exhibition room, materials related to the history of Imai Town and restored models are on display. Imai Town is one of the largest “Important Preservation Districts for Groups of Traditional Buildings” in Japan. The townscape from the Edo period remains in its miraculous size. It really feels like you have traveled back in time. It’s quiet, calm, and there aren’t many people. Since it will be before 2pm, we will have lunch here! You will be able to enjoy a lunch of local vegetables. Unfortunately, the lunch menu was sold out. . I found another wonderful shop. It looks like you can bring your pet here as well. This is Furui from Machiya Chaya. I came to an entrance that was not a garden seat. This townhouse is also nice. The inside feels nice and calming. In addition to soba noodles, there were also sweets. Wild vegetable soba. The persimmon leaf sushi was sold out. It was a delicious soba with a gentle flavor of the soup. I was able to relax in a nice atmosphere at a reasonable price. Thank you for the meal. Hanawa Manju was also sold at the shop right in front of it. I bought Niwamanju as a souvenir. It was a cutely shaped manju with red bean paste and cream flavors. You can see the Imanishi family residence, an important cultural property, and part of the restored ring moat. “Imai Machiyakan” is a two-story gabled building. This is a valuable building that has the basic floor plan of a large townhouse. It has been restored to its original appearance by reusing old materials. You can also go up to the mezzanine floor. You can feel what life was like back then. Shonenji is a Jodo Shinshu temple that is the core of Imai Town. Imai-cho is a “terinai-cho” that developed by combining a temple and a town. This is the main hall, which is an important cultural property. (Reservations are required to visit the main hall.) You can freely stroll around the grounds. This is the “Former Yometani Family Residence”, which is an important cultural property. This metal fitting is called “Koma Tsunagi” and is a symbol of Imai Town. “Koma Tsunagi” was also used as a design for manhole covers. Although the town is dotted with important cultural properties, people still live there. This is also the Kawai Family Residence, which is an important cultural property. The round windows and cedar balls are impressive. You can buy alcohol at a historic sake brewery. Imai Town was a quaint and wonderful place. I’ll take a break here and go home. The sweets look delicious. This cafe is a renovated old folk house in Imai-cho. I ordered “Gorotto Sweet Potato and Brown Sugar Cream Tart”. Comes with fresh cream and granola cookies. For drinks, I chose hot branded coffee. The natural sweetness of sweet potatoes and the brown sugar-scented cream are delicious♡! It was sandwiched with fig jam. I was able to do it slowly. It was delicious. Thank you for the meal! Walking around Kashihara was so much fun! It was a wonderful place that I would like to visit again! I decided to return from Kintetsu Yagi Nishiguchi Station. Thank you for watching. If you like it, please give us a high rating and subscribe to the channel!
