Philippines 🇵🇭: 10 Day Visa-Free Budget Itinerary for Indians-हिन्दी
Have you ever considered visiting the Philippines?
But it seems confusing and expensive, so hold on to this
video. In this video, I’m going to show you a 10-day family itinerary.
Day-by-day itinerary, must-see spots, hidden gems, best time to visit, same
currency, food, budget breakdown, and cheapest ways to travel across the islands. All in
this video. You can literally travel just by playing this video
. No need to explore any other resources . Guaranteed. Hello, welcome to my channel.
For the next 10 days, we’ll cover six destinations, plus a bonus spot
. Explore Manila for cultural museums and city
life. Explore Banya for rice terraces and villages, especially.
Explore Baguio for hill stations, parks, and art museums. Explore
Cebu for beaches and heritage sites. And in Palawan, you can
island-hop, explore lagoons, and see fireflies. Let’s start with how to enter the Philippines
first. June 8:25th: Visa-free entry for Indian citizens. They offer up to
14 days of stay at all major airports, seaports , and cruise terminals.
Required documents include a valid passport with six months’ validity,
a return onward ticket, confirmed hotel bookings, proof of financial capability,
and an e-arrival card . You can watch
step-by-step videos. Travel insurance is optional here, not mandatory, but I
recommend getting one.
I know planning a trip is very exciting, but let’s be honest, it
can be very hectic. You always have to book flights, hotels, activities,
insurance, and more . It can be really stressful. So,
what are the solutions? We’ll break it down. First, let’s talk about budget hotels,
which I’m covering city-wise destinations in this itinerary. I figured
if you were staying for a day or two, during the off-season period,
you could find a decent hotel for ₹3,000 per night
with a rating of 8.3 minimum, located very close to the city center,
within a two- or three-kilometer radius . So , if you look at the screen I have for Manila,
I’ve filtered for the off-season period, i.e., January.
The filter I’ve applied is 2 to 5 kilometers from the city center.
If you can see all the prices here, you ‘ll see ratings like 9.1,
exceptional ones, some with 8.7, many with 8s, and many with 10s. So,
you’ll find some great properties here . Within 3000, that is, within 2200, even
within 2500, I am taking a standard of 3000
which I am telling you after seeing. Okay? The next destination is
Burn Away. Now here I recommend you to book homes or guest houses only and you
can get very good listings from booking.com or godda within the price range of ₹900 to
₹2000 per night. I am talking about homestays . Whatever we are discussing
is per night. And if you look at the listing of Burn Away here in
Godda , you will see many properties which
are near a city center and their ratings are also 9.0, exceptional 8.6, 8.7, as you can see
. And how affordable is it? You can book your stay
for under ₹1000, even under ₹1000, even under ₹1100 , which I don’t recommend.
I’d still say that if you keep your budget to ₹2500 or ₹3000 , you can get a decent
stay. Right? So you can see how many properties there are here. Now,
if you look at booking.com, there are similar prices.
There’s not much variation in prices, whether one is expensive or the other. So, you
can find very good listings here, within ₹1700, ₹1500, ₹2000, even under ₹1200
. There are two properties I recommend . If your budget is on the higher side,
one is actually Rita Mount View Inn & Restaurant. This is actually Inno Restaurant.
They also have a hotel property there, which can be roughly estimated at ₹8,000 to ₹9,000 per
night if you have a higher budget. Otherwise, there are plenty of listings
you can book at good prices. The next destination is Baguio City, which
we’re adding later in the itinerary. You can easily book with Kayak and Agoda
. The cheapest months to visit this place
are usually between September and February and June. Okay? It also depends on the weather trends. But
I’d also recommend a few properties if your budget
is a little higher. Anyway, first, if you look at the God listings on
this screen, you’ll find a lot of properties within the ₹2200, ₹2400, ₹2500, and ₹3000 range,
with excellent ratings . So,
look at this, you’ll find 8.2, 8.0, 8.1, and they ‘re near the city center. Most importantly, all these
properties are near the city center. Okay? And then, what I recommend is,
if you’re on a budget, you can choose a camp. The Manor at Cam John Hay
is going for ₹23,000. If I’m talking about off-season, which is, of
course, on the higher side, but if you’re on a budget, it’s a very ideal place to stay.
Secondly, they have another property here, and I’ll tell you its name:
John Hay Forest Lodge. You can book your stay there for ₹8,500 per
night . Okay? So, that’s a
great option. Look, here ‘s The Forest Launch at Cam John. That’s
8,261 today. So, these are excellent properties if you
‘re on the higher side of the budget. But our next destination is Cebu, which I
‘m including in the INR. And here, even if you won’t believe it,
even during peak season in November, if you look at listings, they’re at very reasonable prices
. If you book during the off-season, or during the season, you’ll
find some very decent properties for ₹2,000 to ₹3,000 . I’m currently looking at January,
and all the properties here are near the city center. You can see Cebu City
Cebu Center has a rating of 8.7, and we’re talking about ₹2,390 per night
. You can book. There are also options for backpacker hostels. But
if I don’t consider them right now, since we ‘re talking about families, look at this
listing for 8.1. You can book a stay for under ₹2000, but per night.
So, I consider it very, very cheap. Furthermore, if I
talk about our next destination, our next destination is Palawan, where you can book
a decent hotel for anywhere from ₹1700 to ₹3500 during the off-season , and close
to the center. There’s also a recommendation, which I’ll show you later. These
are the listings for Palawan you’re currently viewing , and you’ll see properties in El Nido . I’ve
told you about the slightly higher side, starting at ₹1580 (₹1500)
. ₹1700 ₹1600 You can see and see their ratings 8.3 9.3 8.8 Like
that 9.4 Okay sir. Now the property that I recommend to you,
the one that I liked here is Amami Beach Resort. So this is Peyto Galleria Karke
Galera Karke, I’m sorry. So this is a province actually in Palawan where you
can book your stay. But its slight drawback is that it
is 5 to 7 km away from the city center. But it is a very nice property.
You can book your stay for under ₹2258 per night. Otherwise, if you
want it close to the city center, then again I have shown you the price, how much it will cost you. The next
destination here is Bohol, which I am keeping as an option in this video.
In the standard of ₹15. That means if you have a 12 , 15, 13 day stay,
you can visit Bow Hall. And if you look at the prices
of properties near the city center, you can see how good properties are available for under ₹723
. There are even properties for ₹11,000. But if I filter this, you
can find properties for under ₹3,000. That means you get excellent ratings for under ₹8.3.
You get good properties for under ₹4,000 . You get a bungalow with an 8.2 rating for under ₹2,500.
Right? So you can consider this. It’s the cheapest
for you, and the property I recommend to you, actually, if your budget
is on the higher side, then you should consider [ __ ] The Firefly Cottages, which costs ₹4,590
. But when I saw this property, I was super
impressed by the views. They’ve taken drone shots from above.
That’s really nice. Talking about Airbnb, if you want to stay
there, there aren’t many great options under ₹3,000
. You can find shared hotel rooms, or you can find accommodation in a few rooms
. You can find accommodation in a condo. You can find decent
rooms like the Room in Manila, or room stays. You can find them in dormitories. If you’re
looking for budget options, you can get a flat. Some of these options may also be available. So,
you’ll have to figure out the best option for you if you want to stay in Airbnb,
which isn’t very attractive. If your budget here
is ₹10,000 to ₹15,000 for two nights, then you get very good listings. So if I go to the filters here
and quickly check it for a minute , I
‘ll set my budget to around 9,000 . Okay, sir. Let’s do this and search
for property listings . Some are repeated, but
I found some good options for two nights . I’m checking within Manila,
basically any number of properties . So you can see that
you can find good options here. But you’ll have to keep the price a little higher
in the case of Airbnb. Next, let’s talk about flights from India to Manila. And if
you want to take domestic flights, how? We ‘re discussing
flights by facility . Let me clarify that. If you
look at Air India’s flights from Delhi to Maynila, they recently launched five times a week
in October 2025. So, you could call it a budget-friendly option,
but it’s not entirely so. The advantage is that it
‘s a direct flight, which typically takes about 6.5 or 7 hours.
Your average off-season price will range from ₹38,000 to ₹42,000,
which is the off-season rate I’m telling you. Here, if you look
at the screen, I ‘m booking an Air India flight directly
from their website, the price is ₹42,769. However, if I check
the same Air India flight on Google Flights, I see a difference of ₹4,000,
meaning I’m seeing a flight for ₹39,271. In fact, I
have cheaper options, but they have labor issues. For example, Vietnam
Airlines charges 26 hours of labour for Rs 22,840. If you can do that and
want to stay for half a day in Vietnam, you can combine that as well. Otherwise,
as I am looking at Malaysian Airlines flights, it costs Rs 3,798 from Delhi. Okay,
sir. The average price, let me clarify that, will be between Rs 20,000 to Rs 500. You
can also book a round trip ticket during the off-season. If I
talk about one-way tickets, they will cost you around Rs 8,000 . If I talk about one-way tickets,
especially if you are travelling via Malaysian Airlines, they will cost around Rs 10,000.
You should look inside. Sometimes the rates are high, they’re dynamic, so they fluctuate
, but you can book a ticket for around ₹10,000 or even ₹8,000,
one-way. You can book an Air India flight from Delhi for as little as
₹9,832 . Just
looking at flights to Mankanela, the cheapest option here is ₹20,000 for a round-trip ticket.
This is great. You can also find an Air India flight for ₹25,000, here, for
₹25,311 . You
can see the cheaper options below. However, I don’t see any other cheaper options below . You can choose
Air India or Air Asia. I recommend Malaysian Airlines if
you’re traveling from India. If I talk about domestic flights, I’ll be talking about domestic flights. Now,
let me discuss domestic flights here, because based on the
ideal I’ve created, you’ll need to fly twice . That means
a flight from Manila to Cebu, and then two flights from Cebu to, say, Palawan
. If I were to consider a single one-way ticket, based on the ideal, the
cheapest ticket would cost ₹2,723. I’ve just randomly chosen the cheapest dates
. Okay? If you take a round trip and change your identity yourself
, it’ll cost you around ₹4,500 . If I were to talk about
traveling from Cebu to Palawan, the one-way fare would be under ₹4,000. You
can see that the January rate is ₹3,949. You can choose
between February, March, and April. Now, let me tell you
when should we book our flights? What are the cheapest months ?
In the Philippines, February, June, and January can offer the lowest fares. However,
prices tend to rise during peak seasons like December. You should always set a minimum booking time
of one to two months in advance. Furthermore, you can always opt for Google
Flights SkyScanner, the link to which I’m providing in the description.
My important tip for you: if you need to book domestic flights,
you should grab the opportunity as soon as possible before you travel. Personally, when I
plan a trip, the first thing I check is flight
rates. I use SkyScanner, where I can compare hundreds
of airlines to find the cheapest and fastest options. This
saves me a lot of time and allows me to choose flexible dates. So, I
recommend the SkyScanner link in the description.
Next, I’ll talk about land transport. First, we
‘ll go from Manuela to IAR 92. The cost per person per bus is ₹900 to
₹1600. Overnight buses are 9 hours long. You also have a private van as an alternative,
but that can be quite expensive. Even splitting
it up, it comes to ₹5000. From IAR 92, we’ll go to Baguio, where you
can get bus tickets for anywhere from ₹675 to ₹900, local buses, etc. For local transport, you
can use jeepneys and tricycles for between ₹50 and ₹100 in IAR.
Keep in mind, we’re not talking about pesos . Here, I
‘m converting the prices to IAR. You can book these rides in cities.
As for minivans, there are no direct ferries for passengers. If you
‘re traveling specifically between Palawan and El Nido,
or from Pioto Pancic to El Nido, you’ll need to take shared minivans. The
most popular method of traveling between these two destinations in Palawan
is speedboats for convenience, which cost ₹1,000. Now, when should you visit the Philippines? It’s best to
visit during the dry season, which
runs between November and April. Usually, the The weather here is sunny and
pleasant. Ideal for island hopping as well as relaxing on the beach
and even diving. Next, let’s talk about finance and payments:
how you should make payments. Let me tell you that there are three apps available there: GCash
, Maya, and Mura Pay. However, these are for locals. You can make transactions
online using these apps. However, Indian residents will not be able to use them.
What should be done in that case? If you want to use these apps, you must have
a local Philippine number (properly a tourist number) . You
will need to provide certain documents, such as an alien certificate, registration certificate, and local
employment certificate . You may also need to show a school form.
These are not for Indians. So, what should Indians do? You should only
use international Visa, MasterCard, or debit cards. You can carry
them in forex cards, physical cash, and money . Can we use UPI
? We can’t use UPI in the Philippines right now. We can, but that’s a different matter
. UPI is expanding to other countries , but that’s not the case in the Philippines right now
. Insurance policies, as I mentioned, are optional, but you
should definitely carry one. Another one I recommend is Safety Wing Nomat
Travel Insurance, which is actually designed for travelers, digital nomats,
and remote workers. It covers unexpected medical emergencies and is super
flexible. You can get treatment anywhere, at any clinic
. Speaking of food, you can eat very
good street food from Local Dine 71. That means you can eat street food for ₹100 to ₹250 per person,
if you can afford it . Talking about local restaurants,
I’m quoting ₹200 to ₹300 per person . You can eat.
There are 71 stores like supermarkets, so you can have a snack for 50 to 100 rupees. Next,
I’ll talk about Indian food and restaurants. Sometimes you
crave Indian food. There are many good restaurants here. In fact,
you can eat at a decent restaurant for 450 to 900 rupees per person
. But if you go to a high-end Indian restaurant
for fine dining, you might have to pay 1500 rupees per person. Okay, now we’re looking at
whether all the cities we discussed in the Ideology have Indian restaurants.
I ‘m looking at Manila and
I see a lot of Indian food restaurant options there . And then if I
talk about Cebu City, there
are plenty of Indian restaurant options there too. If I talk about Palawan,
there are plenty of Indian restaurants within the Palawan District . And then there’s not a single
one there. If I talk about Bana Ave, there was one,
but that too is temporarily closed. You can see this. You
‘ll find very few Indian food options there. In fact, you won’t find it at all. Then, if you
talk about Bago , there are plenty of listings for Indian restaurants. And
finally, if you want to go to Bol, or take a trip, there are plenty of Indian restaurants
on Bol Island itself . In fact, I can only see two listings here.
Sorry, there aren’t many. So, the top app is Gab, which you
can use for car rides and taxi bookings .
You can also use it for food or package delivery. Then, the next app I recommend is
InDrive, which you can consider an alternative to Gab, which
is in the Philippines. And the good thing is, you can also negotiate your fare directly
with drivers, so this could be an affordable and budget-friendly option for you.
I’m talking about motorcycle taxis. There are a few apps for that too that you should take note of
. First up is Angus. Okay? You can use that. Second up is Joy
Ride. Its advantage is that it also offers car and food delivery services
. Then third up is the Mw app. Book a motorcycle taxi, as you can see, and
it’s a strong competitor. Compared to other companies, it
‘s known for its speed and affordability. Then let’s talk about navigation apps
. Saki PH is a navigation app that you can use to
access Metro Maynila’s multi-modal public transport , like jeepneys, buses, and trains, with
step-by-step guidance. So, take note of that. And then the next one for you is
the Manila Public Transit Trip Planner. So, this is also very important for you. If
you need real-time bus or train schedules, arrival time updates, or journey planning,
you can download the Moovit app on your phone
. When it comes to SIM cards, there are three major companies: Globe One, GMO, Smart G, and D2.
Let me explain them one by one, taking you to their sites. Here’s
Globe’s registration site. They offer SIM cards and mobile data
, and their plans typically don’t expire. This
is the best option for you. Second, there are two reasonable and budget-friendly plans,
so I’ll show you those quickly . By registering with Smart SIM, you can manage
your account yourself. You can top up your account yourself
, redeem rewards, and so on. This is a great option.
Third, Dito. This Dito is also used in other countries, as far as I know
. So, you can use this app, which offers very competitive rates. It
offers promotional rates and other offers on data packages in SIM cards. I think it would be
ideal for you if you want to keep your trip within budget . Next, I ‘ll talk about food apps
. The three major service providers here are GabFood,
FoodPanda, and gravmar. If you look at the screen, this is GabFood’s website. It
‘s a direct link to the Philippines. Then, second is FoodPanda ‘s website, and third is GabItItself
. You can also order groceries online if you
‘re staying with an Airbnb. Look at the screen for the tourist police numbers. Is there a tourist
police? Of course, there are tourist police in the Philippines, so
I’m providing their numbers and contact center information . Note down the hotline numbers, plus
the contact details of the Indian Embassy. I’m going to discuss
a comprehensive budget breakdown next, so stay tuned and watch until the end. Now, let
‘s talk about budget. Talking about flights, the average round-trip cost for
international flight tickets (IAR) per person is ₹38,937 . The total for three people would be
₹11,16,000. If you book an average round-trip
ticket with a budget airline or a long-hauler , you could end up with a minimum of ₹27,700 or ₹83,000
for three people. Talking about hotels, the average cost
for two nights, one night, two nights, three nights, and all the locations discussed in the itinerary
is ₹24,650 . And then, if we look at the total cost of your
trip on the higher side, it’s not exactly a budget trip. Your
domestic travel expenses will be ₹ 120,000 in that case . If you
use any airline from India to the Philippines, the cost for three people, as I
told you, is ₹16.81, so the total comes to ₹37,000,
or ₹79,000 per person. For solo travelers, the same trip
could cost ₹1 lakh or less. And then, if I talk about domestic transportation,
if you use all the bus options we discussed in the itinerary,
Where do you need to use a flight? The cost per person is ₹1,200, ₹800,000, or
₹16,000, assuming the cost per person is
₹47,000 in IAR. Okay, sir. Now, if we talk about local transport,
meaning you’re just transferring within the city using jeepneys, taxis, and taxis, minivans
are common there, then it can cost an estimated ₹7,000. If I talk
about all the cities for 10 days , then activities, entrance
fees, and tours, it totally depends on your choice. But
I’ll keep this on the higher side. If you like to explore museums, gardens, island
hopping, or cruises, you might want to consider it a good option. So, here
I’m charging ₹22,725 as entry fee for three people
. Okay? So, you can estimate how much
your expenses will be here. Talking about food, if you eat Indian food as well, then
go a little higher. You can charge ₹12,000. Otherwise, if you eat local food,
three people can eat within ₹9,000 in 10 days . If I talk about travel insurance
here, then you may need ₹4,000. If I calculate the cheapest fare,
₹700 to ₹1,100, then if three or four people are going, then that’s what you’ll
need. Miscellaneous: If money gets lost or you get scammed, some small
scam, then I’m charging ₹5,000 for that. And plus if
you talk about the total estimated cost for 10 days and especially
if a family is going and there are three people together, then its total expenditure becomes 1119875, okay sir, what is there in this,
I am talking about your accommodation, this is only domestic expenses,
that is, accommodation, transport, domestic plus local activities, food, travel
insurance, miscellaneous shopping, tips, so I have made some expenses for that, 119825,
I cannot update the shopping, it depends on your choice, but this is what it
is, if I talk about miscellaneous shopping, like you
buy cigarettes etc., then in that case, your total domestic expenses
will be ₹40,000 per person for the trip. Day One: Arrival in Manila, and
taxi fare from the airport to the city center can cost anywhere from ₹450 to ₹750
. If you have an early morning flight,
you can start your trip in the afternoon. First, you can visit
Rizal Park, a free monument in Manila, where you can relax on the lawns
. Then, there’s the National Museum, which also has no entry fee. Then,
I’ll tell you about the third destination nearby. There ‘s a place called Intramuros, which is
free to walk, but you may have to pay for some areas within that venue
. For example, there’s a ticket to Fort Atiago. They also offer free walking tours
. Usually, guided tours are also available on weekends, sometimes.
You can check for offers later. However, the ticket to the Sand Augustine Museum is
200 paisa. That means this ₹300 is the regular admission fee. I
regularly use Clue for all my experiences. If I need to
take day trips, local tours, or anything else, I first
check the price on Clue. I’m providing the link in the description.
Sign up there. Day Two: From Manala, you ‘ll go to Bawe, a place in Province.
It’s an overnight bus journey, and it’s a 9-hour journey. Your fare per person can cost ₹900 to ₹1,600
. Alternatively, you can take a private van , which means you can charge ₹5,000 split
. Or, if you book an entire van with a family of four,
the return fare will be ₹24,000 to
₹42,000. So there are two main bus companies and I travel by bus only.
I recommend this. For an overnight trip, you
can use two bus services: Oha Yami Trans and Kod Lines to get from Manila to 92. Oha Yami
Trans costs ₹ 900, while Kod Lines costs between ₹1,200 and ₹1,500
. You can book it online. Definitely, there are activities to do
in Bawae. It’s famous for its rice terraces. The rice terraces are a
must-see. You can explore the Bawae Museum,
which is located near the Bawae Trade Center. You can also visit this museum on foot. If you’re
staying anywhere there, whether in a guesthouse, hotel, or in the city center,
it’s most likely just a short walk away. Okay? Day three
will take you from Bawae to Bagho, and for that, you’ll need to take a bus. However, you’ll
need to interchange your bus at Langawe . First, you’ll go to Langawe and then
change to Bagay. The recommended operator I can tell you
about is Code Lines, which is convenient and straightforward. Using
other bus operators, like the one I mentioned earlier, Oyami Trans,
may be a bit inconvenient. The route via Manula
can be quite tiring, or you may have to use local transport in between
. The cost of using this route can range
from ₹675 to ₹900 per person, and it’s a 6-8 hour journey. Talking about hidden gems
in Bagay, the most famous are the Ban Kap Museum and Eco Park. You can also take a taxi, jeepney, or private
vehicle to get there . It will cost you
around ₹300 to ₹350 per person. Moving on to Day Four, you
‘ll explore some new sites in the park. Burham Park is
located in Downtown Mines View, on the east side of the city. The third location is
Strawberry Farm, which is located in the neighboring town of Flower Trained.
If you want to go to Mines View from Burham Park, you’ll first start
your day by going to Burham. If you go to Mines View, a taxi ride costs ₹300 to ₹350
. Jeepneys are available at the terminal, which is a cheap option. I
‘ll give you the exact address . Go to Mabini Street
. Jeepneys are available from there, and they’ll be parked there. They’ll say
Mines View Park. That’s your option. From there, you’ll go to
Strawberry Farm. You can take a taxi there . In this case,
you may have to negotiate prices with the driver. Jeepneys are
the cheapest option. So, you’re better off starting at Boreham Park
and then taking a taxi from there. Taxis and jeepneys from there go down to Bago to
Mines View Park. From Mines View Park, take another taxi and jeepney to
Strawberry Farm in Lord Trinidad . From Strawberry Farm,
you’ll take a jeepney and a taxi back to the city center where your hotel is located.
The hidden gem here is the Bago Botanical Garden, which costs around ₹150.
To get to the garden, it’s best to take a taxi.
Taxis are much cheaper from the city center, and drivers know the exact location
. So, if you prefer to use a jeepney , you can also take one from Bago City Market
. Look for a jeepney there that says Mines View Park, and
the Botanical Gardens are actually located right next to it . Next, let’s talk about Day Five,
which is where I’ll travel from Baguio to Cebu . For that, you’ll
need to use two combinations. You’ll need to take a bus first, then a flight, as
there are no direct flights here, but the ferry service doesn’t operate directly.
The bus ride from Baguio to Manila takes five to six hours, and the bus fare costs around ₹800.
It will cost you around ₹1,200, and there are two other bus services: Victory Liner
and Genesis Transport, which are more popular and reliable options
. You can return to Maynila after 5 to 6 hours by bus. From there, you
can take a ride to the airport from the bus terminal.
I recommend booking a taxi here, and
you can get back to Maynila International Airport, or Noi International Airport,
for between ₹350 and ₹700 . Next, if you’ve
already booked a flight from Maynila to Cebu, you can choose
Pacific Philippines Airlines Air Ratio to Cebu. Its cost ranges from ₹150 to ₹6,000.
The average price is around ₹4,500, or ₹2,700 to ₹3,000 . I’m talking about one-way travel because
we’re building the hotel for one-way travel. We won’t be returning. We
won’t use flights, otherwise it will be expensive . I’m talking about off-season travel. The
flight cost is one and a half, sorry, the duration is one and a half hours. So,
the flight will be an hour and a half. The second option, if you
want to go to Cebu from Bago, is a combination of bus and ferry. For that,
you’ll have to take a bus to Manela first. And from Manela, you can
book a ferry to Cebu. That is, you can book it through some online websites, which has a travel duration of
about 22 to 24 hours. So, it may take you a day to reach Cebu. So,
don’t take the chance on it at all. It’s not recommended , and its cost ranges from ₹1,800 to ₹2,250
per person. So, for that , you can take a flight by investing a little money. Now
once you reach Cebu Airport, you can opt for Y taxis which
are standard meter taxis and the trip from the airport to downtown will
cost you around ₹350 to ₹450 IAR depending on the traffic, it
may be more, so you can also opt for Yellow taxis. But this
is more expensive than the yellow taxi which you see outside the airport but it
is definitely comfortable and they have a flat rate of ₹15 INR. If I talk about IR, it
can be anything in paise but ₹100 is its flat charge. If you
have to go to Moalboal from Cebu because Moalboal is a further place, that is, it is quite popular for snokling
, so let me tell you that when you book a taxi at Cebu airport, you have
to book a taxi till Cebu bus terminal, from there you may have to take a bus, which
costs around ₹315 INR per person and let me tell you that this bus
journey can take you for another three to four hours and when you reach Moal,
there is a Pansama beach where you can relax on the first day and if
you want to do snokling, let me tell you that if you book snokling with a guide,
it will cost you ₹975. If you buy gear,
you will have to pay rental charges of ₹300 IAR along with some entrance
environmental fee which also costs you around ₹2, ₹300 or ₹100. Otherwise,
if you want to book a stay there, you can book it between ₹2000 to ₹6700.
Our stay is very good there . So, the activities that you can do
in Cebu on day six are Magellan Cross, Belgica de Sao Nino, Fort San Pedro.
These are three sites which you can explore and these are nearby within walking
distance, so you don’t have to book a taxi for this, so you won’t waste much time
and you can complete all three sites in the first half . But if you
travel to these sites from a hotel or guesthouse , your
average fare will range from ₹225 to ₹300 if you use
taxis and cabs . The hidden gems among these sites are the Toist Temple and
the Sirao Flower Garden. You can explore these . Day Seven
So, you’ll go from Cebu to Palawan, and you want to go to Palawan, which
is a province called Puerto Princesa. You’ll need to take a flight from Cebu to Palawan,
which will cost you around ₹4,500, or it can go up to ₹1,000 if you
book during the off-season, or even ₹11,000 if you book at the last minute.
The cheapest rate is ₹4,500. What activities
can you do once you reach Palawan? The underground river tour costs
anywhere from ₹3,550 to around ₹5,000. And
then, if you want to book an underground river tour, which is very popular,
don’t skip it; you can book it through Klook . The link is already in the description
. The hidden gem you should actually do, and I’m
quite fascinated by it, is Iwag firefly watching. And for that, I mean, let me tell you
what it is. It’s a popular eco-tourism experience located within Palawan,
near the province of Princesa, and it’s actually a boat tour.
Okay? So, it’s a 45-50 minute boat ride . It’ll cost you
anywhere from ₹1,650 to ₹2,700 per person. Let’s talk about Day 8. We ‘ll explore
Palawan further and go on a Honda Bay hopping tour, which
can cost anywhere from ₹2,400 to ₹5,251 if you check it online .
And another good thing is that there are some very popular reefs here . It’s called
Tubaha Reefs. Okay? It’s a UNESCO World Heritage Site. So you should definitely explore it. Then,
on Day 9, you’ll travel from Parlawan to Manila, and your flight costs
can range from ₹3,500 to ₹6,500, or even up to ₹12,000 if
you’re booking last-minute. Once you reach Manila,
you’ll need to pay ₹450 to ₹750 to the city center. Then,
on your last day in Manila, before you leave the Philippines, you can explore
the popular church, Cayopo, and the Devisoria Market . Both are nearby, so
you don’t have to walk far. But definitely explore this market,
as you’ll want to get some refreshments before you leave . So, cover both
. That’s the best way for you. And on Day 10, you’ll actually depart from Manila back to
your home country. Now, if you have a few extra days, there
‘s a bonus destination for you. I’m calling it Bohol. So, if you’re in Maynila and
want to travel to Bohol from Maynila , it’s an 850-kilometer journey, which I
recommend by flight . The return flight costs 4500 rupees.
If you’re nearing the end of your trip, you might need to catch a flight
back to India from Maynila, so it’s best
to book a return flight. Cebu Pacific and AirAsia
are commonly used on this route. Bohol is actually famous for its Chocolate Hills and beautiful untouched beaches.
So, don’t forget to explore it if you have extra days.
My verdict on this is that the Philippines isn’t very cheap
from a travel perspective. But it’s definitely improved a bit now that I’ve
checked hotel and flight prices . It’s gotten a bit better because they
‘re promoting tourism aggressively. And they’ve also opened
visa-free entry for India . So that’s really great. I believe you can find highly rated hotels
within your budget , and accommodations are of paramount importance
. Plus, you have the option of Indian food. If you
can’t eat local food, it’s not palatable, or you’re a vegetarian, you have those options.
So, it’s definitely a destination worth considering . Alright, and there you have it: a 10-day
Philippines family adventure on a budget, in which we covered six destinations and one bonus destination.
I have also covered it. So, which destination do you think
you liked the most from these five or six photos and visuals that I have shown you so far ? Let me know by commenting below and also
