Hey guys, we’re Flo Parks After Dark. Hey, we are here at the Beach Club. Now, Beach Club is one of the Epcot resorts that’s right next to it yach club connect and across the water is Boardwalk. Now, this where Boardwalk is really that beachy kind of vibe. This is that Kate May elegant high-end beautiful area. Now you can tell the lobby is much different than Borwalk. Yach Club is the next level up. This is a beautiful space. They just redid some of this with those big highback chairs which are so unique. Look at that. Such a cool chair. And then the 7 you come in. They have that chandelier. You know we love the Disney chandeliers. That has all the seahorses which is fantastic. Big center section. Now over there is a check-in. And what rings around the top of this is actually that balcony and you can walk around and look down in the lobby. What’s great about this resort is the um characters come here during the day sometimes. So if you get up on the balcony, you get a great view of them walking around, but they have a characture drawer right here. It’s a relatively narrow lobby, but it’s really wide. On the right side, when you come in past um check-in, there is where they have the Kate May Cafe. Now, Kate May Cafe is a buffet. It is really a very, very, very, very high-end buffet. Um, we had not that long. If you go back into our floor parks after our channel, we did a great vlog on this. They were just setting up and let us in to take a look at it. But this is the Kate May Cafe. And yes, this entire place is modeled at the Kate May oldtime Kate May. So, this is just great. So, there’s your center buffet section. There’s all the table seating. It has a whole Jersey diner energy. Those who’ve ever been to New Jersey in the diners, it’s it’s you know what I’m talking about. Those who haven’t, it’s something you have to put your buckets in before you die. And then outside here, if you keep going out, we’ll head back out to the Cape. We’re back out of the lobby. We’ll go straight ahead. Straight ahead of us is the store. Um, and the store is really just a great beachy store. A lot of Disney things, but we’re going to do this real quick. Before we go to the store, I want to show you what’s out back. This is the back. So, if you come straight through the lobby, through the front door, keep going straight through. You go out this back area. Now, this by far is one of our favorite spots in all of Disney. This section of the these three resorts with the water here. There’s a water taxi that’ll take you to Epcot. That will take you to H Studios. That’ll take you over to boardwalk which is straight across where all the lights are. And then they just reopened the pool area. We’ll get a better view of that in a second. But out back here basically is a circular walk around this entire waterway. So you can walk over to Boardwalk from Beach Club or walk just next door to Yach Club. Or better than that, if you go to your left and this walkway, you go to your left, which is that way, that is the international gateway to Epcot. So, you go in the back of Epcot between France and and England. And boom, you’re right there by Rat Touille and you’re right in. No wait, no fuss, no mus. Great way to get in there. And then there’s the pool area right there. They just redid and reopened recently. Then I want to show you this. That is what this hotel looks like from the back. Grand, clean lines, beautiful color, definitely upscale. So, let’s go back in real quick together and then we’re going to show you guys the store and then some of the little gems they got here, which is great. Now, there is an internal hallway right by Cat M Katem Cafe we just looked at. If you kept going down that hallway and turn around, you would go straight into Yach Club. They’re literally sister hotels that are connected. They share the pool in the middle. Um, so it is definitely one of those where you’re going to be able to stay at one get two kind of energy. So, let’s head in. So, back in the lobby. There’s that seahorse chandelier. And now there no rooms here on first floor. uh to the as we go this way there’s a hallway and down that hallway keep going goes to the DVC part of this hotel um it’s kind of off to the side and then here this is the marketplace beach club marketplace here’s the hours operation and then just give you a quick overview we’re doing we’ll get a vlog of this shortly out but so really what it has here give you a very quick overview it has all all the Beach Club stuff. Now, we love the fact they do this. They have Beach Club specific merch. They have Lounge Flies and all that in here, as well as they have all the other merchandise, which is great. And we love this, the Beach Vive cups, plastic, the metal cups, along with beach club ears, which is just awesome. And then it goes back. And in the back there is a diner and food and all that. So, we’ll shoot around the side here and go out the outside. So, we’re going to go straight through the store. Now, here’s just toys and all that. And then they do have a great little diner over here with coffee. Yes. You know, I would talk about the coffee. They have a coffee. So, we’re going to shoot out this way. Good night. Oh, thank you. You’re welcome. And then if you come straight out, what they have is they have the diner area. If you come straight to dining area, they have this section. Nice little seating area out here in the back. And then straight across the way there where that light is, that goes into the um DVC part of the property where the the rooms are. And so we’re going to swing back around this way, head back in the hotel real quick. Let’s head back to the lobby. What we found out when we were here before is the beach club has a lot of little sitting areas and nooks and crannies. So, this is a hotel you got to come explore. Don’t just come through the lobby. Just don’t go out to the water. Don’t go to the parks. Walk around this hotel. There’s a lot like this. It’s called a salarium. It is truly this beautiful sitting area. Like kind of go straight down in and you think, okay, it’s just a little walkway. Look at the old time paintings of the beach club. There’s hidden Mickeys in each painting, by the way. But then it opens up to this. Yeah, it’s great spot. Hey, and you can’t beat it. I would have to say Lion King one and a half maybe. No, it’s just the song. Just the song. So, this is this section. We’ll come back up through, go back out to the lobby, and show you guys that section real quick. You see bing about and the fact is entire thing if you talk about this picture in front of us it’s the old time bathing suits they do do the throwback to Kate May back when Kate May was a much different time back in the 20s and if you didn’t know every hotel has a model cruise ship and each cruise ship is different. That is the dream. Now, we’ll come over here. We’re back up to the lobby. Now, we’ve gone kind of full circle. And I just want to show you this. This is how big the hotel section is. That right there’s the beach club, yach club, pool between. So, that’s what’s all connected. Crescent Lake is in the front. Across the water is boardwalk and Epcot’s off to our left. So guys, this is George F. That is a very quick overview of this fantastic hotel. Has tons of little emphasis of the beach life here. Take your time, come and poke around. But this is a great find.
