横浜港北区 観音山の観音山で蚊に襲われる｜Japan Kanagawa 4K Walking Tour

A bamboo forest? My feet are slippery. I’m being attacked by mosquitoes so fiercely. It’s tough. Gloves and arm guards are required. We arrived. This is the Kannon statue on Mt. Kannon. It seems that it used to be a cemetery. There are too many mosquitoes so I rush out. Next is Shinshoji Temple. A statue of Kukai often seen in Shingon Buddhist temples That’s all for today. 横浜市港北区を歩くと、狭い道を車が絶え間なく行き交い、古い道が今も暮らしを支えていることに気づく。やがて辿り着いた蓮華寺には新しい石に置き換えられた道祖神が立ち、古いものの面影を受け継ぎながら地域を見守っていた。境内には履物が並び、法要が営まれている気配があり、この土地の祈りが日常に溶け込んでいることを感じさせる。さらに進んだ長福寺では、清掃業者の手が入り、整えられた境内が地域とともに生きている姿を映し出していた。竹林を抜け観音山へ向かえば、足を滑らせそうな急な道と群がる蚊に急かされながらも、山上に立つ観音像にたどり着く。かつて墓地であったというその場所は、静かな時の流れを抱きしめるように佇んでいた。最後に訪れた真照寺では、空海像が堂々と祀られ、真言宗の祈りの伝統が今も続いていることを実感する。暮らしの喧騒と古い祈りが重なり合う港北区の道を歩くことで、日常と歴史が交錯する瞬間に触れることができた。
