沒做過這些別說你來過清邁之我與清邁的故事 | 塔佩門 | 咖哩麵 | 藝術村

Chiang Mai mornings are quiet. Light glides along the street corners. I want to take you on a day spent etching this city into your memories. Let’s rent a scooter first thing in the morning. They’ll take NT$3,000 as a deposit , and you don’t have to leave your passport here. I think leaving your passport at a scooter shop is actually quite dangerous. If you can, just pay with cash. Do you have a line? Yes. Okay. If you have any problems, just call me and I’ll help you. Okay. The boss handed me the keys with a jingle , as if opening the day . I put on my helmet, stepped on the accelerator, and the wind blew across my forehead. We’ll be riding this all day. Our first stop is the riverside flower market. Marigolds are piled in bunches, their petals still lingering with moisture. Wake up your eyes first , then your nose. Grandma personally strung a small bouquet for me and hung it in front of my scooter. The fragrance stays with me all day. She made it for me right there. Thank you. You ‘re not drinking coffee today , so have a cup of Thai milk warming tea from the street instead. The aroma washes over you as soon as you dip the tea bag in hot water . Whether the Thai milk is good or not really depends on the amount of condensed milk used. It should be sweet but not cloying, just enough to smooth out the bitterness of the tea. The owner’s back-and-forth is so therapeutic . It lets in some air, making it clearer and smoother. The ice cubes frosted the sides of the cup as soon as they were poured in, and the scene looked very cold. The first sip was the milky aroma, and then the aftertaste brought out the slight astringency of the black tea. I ordered the reduced sugar and less ice, which I think is just right. This stall is very quick, and the prices are clear. If you’re afraid of sweets, remember to ask for reduced sugar first. Thank you. I have to say that every cup of Thai milk sold on the roadside in Thailand is truly better than masturbation. This is ridiculous. It’s so delicious and refreshing . I picked up the drink and sipped it while walking . After the sweetness subsided a little, the tea flavor became more obvious. Next stop is Tha Pae Gate . It won’t run away. Why , why won’t it run away ? Why doesn’t it run away ? I arrived at Tha Pae Gate. The brick red of the morning was just illuminated by the sun . The pigeons suddenly took off together. I stopped and let them fly past me. I didn’t feed the birds or reach out, I just lowered my hand and breathed, leaving a second for the sound of wings, and then clicked the shutter twice. This is not a check-in, but a start
morning, Chiang Mai. to the city. Goodbye, Tha Pae Gate is so beautiful. I love Tha Pae Gate. It’s so relaxing here. I feel like I’m really on vacation. Chiang Mai has a super vacation feel. It’s very relaxing, very slow, very slow, very slow , so comfortable. It’s a completely different style from Bangkok. When the flock of birds disperses, the city wall will return to my eyes. Today officially begins. My stomach suddenly started rumbling. I ordered a bowl of Northern Thai curry noodles. The bowl is half crispy noodles and half wet noodles. The curry has the aroma of coconut milk. The pickled cabbage is sour but refreshing. Many shops close at noon, so hurry up. This bowl is a Chiang Mai lunch ritual. Add a little pickled cabbage and bean sprouts . It smells so good! I can smell the curry aroma from far away. It’s super rich. The combination of soft and crispy noodles has a very layered texture . What’s cool about the noodles is that they have absorbed the curry broth, so you can fully taste the curry flavor. Now I finally understand why all the guides say that if you come to Chiang Mai and don’t try Northern Thai curry noodles, it’s a waste of time. After a good meal , I took a walk to the rattan street. The whole street was filled with the fragrance of dried rattan. Lampshades and baskets on both sides were hung with handmade textures from shops. The texture seemed to breathe in the light. I changed my hand to hold the rattan bag and the camera followed. I tried on a straw hat and my shadow ran back and forth on the brim. Don’t say anything, let your hands and light tell the story. Hi , our stop is at the Chiang Mai Art Village. This is where many artists and cultural and creative items gather . I think it’s a little similar to the Zhenxin Market , but it has more handmade products. So cute. This one is made by myself. Look at this apple. You can put hamster food in it, and it will make a “dudududududu” sound. You can also put water in it , and it will drink water like this . So cute. It’s so cute. What should I do? It costs 10 yuan to take pictures here. So cute. Okay,
we have finished the approximately two-hour tour of the art village. I highly recommend you to visit the art village because there are many cultural and creative shops here. Moreover, these shops are quite unique and each style is different, so there is not much repetition. Although its price may not be very affordable , as you know, art is priceless. If you come to Chiang Mai, I highly recommend you to put it in your itinerary. You can spend about one and a half to two hours here to have a cup of coffee, a bite to eat , and buy some cultural and creative items. The entrance to the art village is… It was quiet, without the clacking of pottery, only small cultural and creative items neatly arranged on wooden racks. Light from the eaves fell in patches, illuminating the texture of fabrics, the fibers of paper, the feel of utensils, and my steps naturally became slower. I ordered a cup of specially blended coffee, the bitter aroma arriving first and then bringing out the scent of roasted wood. I sat in a corner, watching the light and shadows slowly move across the ground. The key here is to slow down. Lower your voice , take a long breath , then turn around and head to the next stop. I walked all morning and came in for a manicure. I pushed the door open and first chose a color. I chose a low-saturation nude that is durable and non-reflective. I gave my feet a spa treatment, and the temperature was just right when it returned to my hands. Here’s the result: the surface is smooth and the edges are clean. Finally, I applied a thin layer of hand cream. I packed up my things and walked to the next stop. This is the next city gate. The lights in Chiang Mai lit up one by one at night, and I was attracted by the aroma of the small vendors again. This is the traditional grilled meat skewers I must try in Thailand. The skewers sizzled on the charcoal fire. The lights from the stalls shone down, and the various meats gleamed on the platform. Such a great taste, how could I not have one? 25 per piece. Cut? No no no no, chicken butt and chicken skin are 15 yuan each. What is this? Chicken cutlet, do you want it? This drink is only 20 yuan , and it all comes with pearls. Do you want one ? Wow, he bought this fruit and added this sauce. Is this sweet and spicy? This is spicy, and then added mango. Cultural shock, this one is 50 yuan per piece. Oh, this one is 50 yuan , is it real? This one is 50 yuan, very cheap. What is Sawadee Ka ? The lotus leaf is filled with food that looks like offal, and it’s spiced up. The lights come on, and the night market wakes up. In front is the fragrance of fruit, next to it is the steaming noodle soup, and at the other end are freshly cooked dumplings . You can hear the bottom of the spoon scraping the pot, and twist the bag to get the change. When a motorcycle glides by in the distance, you don’t need to look for a particular stall ; just stand here and the aroma will draw you to it. Hold your pockets tight, the warmth in your palms is enough. This is tonight. I start the motorcycle one last time , slowly circling along the moat. The wind brings back today’s flavors one by one: the fruity black coffee at the flower market, the spicy curry, the heat of the skewers, the sweetness of the night market, the reflection of the city wall cut open and closed by the headlights, the city breathing , and I return to my room to reflect on the ten things I’ve done today. I pull off the motorcycle, the flower market, Thai milk , Tha Pae Gate, curry noodles, rattan weaving, street art village, manicure , skewers, night market. There’s nothing that’s absolutely necessary, but when put together, it’s just right. Good
