The new complex “Yokohama Timber Wharf” opens today at Yokohama Rinko Park! The first floor features Yokohama’s first locations of fresh donut specialty shop “I’m donut?” and bakery cafe “dacō”. An open kitchen with a lively atmosphere and an open space with terrace seating. Enjoy views of Minato Mirai and the natural surroundings of Rinko Park from the terrace seating. The new “Roasted Pumpkin & Chestnut & Earl Grey Caramel” flavor of the drinkable shaved ice “Potache” is exquisite. We bring you scenes from the opening day of Minato Mirai’s new landmark! We’re at Rinko Park, the largest green space in Yokohama’s Minato Mirai district. Near the tidal pond on the north side of Rinko Park, the new tourist spot “Yokohama Timber Wharf” opened today. This new facility features a gentle design utilizing sustainable timber construction techniques. Designed by architect Taiju Yamashita, its striking structure incorporates wood across the entire façade, assembled in a truss-like configuration. On the first floor of this Yokohama Timber Wharf, the new texture fresh donut specialty shop “I’m donut?” and the bakery cafe “dacō” opened simultaneously. To coincide with the opening, they’re offering newly developed items exclusive to the Yokohama Rinko Park store. I lined up before opening, just after 7 AM. Over 10 groups were already waiting!
The person at the very front reportedly arrived around 6 AM. While it normally opens at 10:00 AM, it opened at 8:00 AM on this opening day. “I’m donut?” and “dacō” have separate entrances. “I’m donut?” is takeout only; the entire interior is the “dacō” eat-in space. Finally entered the store after 10:30 AM. A huge array of bread is lined up! “dacō” is known for its “Napoli Series,” featuring dough baked in a pizza oven Curry Gratin: 378 yen (tax included) Teriyaki Burger: 388 yen (tax included) Taco Dog 451 yen (tax included)

These are also exclusive to Daco Yokohama Rinko Park Store. Before I knew it, my tray was filled with lots of bread. The open kitchen creates an airy, spacious interior. Adjacent to the back is the fresh donut specialty shop “I’m donut?” Beyond the register lies a spacious eat-in area with terrace seating. Media representatives are also seated on the terrace.
You can really feel the high level of attention it’s getting. Combined with indoor seating, there are 80 seats total.

While waiting for my drink, I looked around the store. Sold-out bread items are restocked regularly. After buying, I had that regretful thought: “Oh, I should’ve gotten this too” (lol) This fresh Neapolitan doughnut is also a limited item at Daco Yokohama Rinko Park Store
Simple yet absolutely delicious By the way, the reason the store feels so spacious is because they’re limiting entry. Maybe because it’s opening day, they’re letting in only 5 groups at a time,
so the turnover is very slow. On a sunny day, the view of Rinko Park from these terrace seats is beautiful. However, please note that since this is the exclusive terrace for “dacō”, the donuts from “I’m donut?” cannot be eaten here. If you look closely at each table, you’ll see a QR code. It’s table ordering.
Convenient and nice, isn’t it? Potache is a refreshingly sweet new-style drink featuring a rich homemade sauce blending cream cheese, pumpkin, and chestnuts, combined with the aroma of Earl Grey and caramel. The shaved ice has a satisfying crunchy texture, and the sweetness is rich and delicious! We polished off all 8 bread rolls!
The dough is chewy and delicious. The “Napoli Sandwich” with prosciutto, Camembert, and basil was especially delicious! Inside, “I’m donut?” and “dacō” are connected. The sleek, streamlined counter design is stylish. Since it has a separate entrance, we couldn’t use “I’m donut?” this time, but here’s a video. About 30 groups in line. It seems even busier on weekends. Additionally, the 2nd and 3rd floors will house the reservation-only restaurant “CRAZY GRANDE MAISON.” It will also feature a wedding service offering a higher tier of cuisine. Additionally, on the same floor, lockers and changing rooms will be installed in January 2026 for guests enjoying outdoor activities like running and walking. Since Rinko Park attracts many runners, this should greatly enhance convenience. Additionally, an outdoor cinema event will be held for three days from Friday, October 17, 2025, to Sunday, October 19, 2025, as part of the opening celebration. Alongside screenings of films enjoyable for all ages, the venue will offer food and drinks to pair with the movies, plus event-exclusive merchandise. Why not enjoy a movie against the backdrop of dynamic architecture while feeling the pleasant autumn breeze? The Yokohama Rinko Park locations of “I’m donut?” and “dacō” will open on Friday, October 17, 2025. Both stores operate from 8:00 AM to 7:00 PM (closing when sold out).
