Exploring Australia’s Southern Highlands: Sydney to Bowral Adventure | With Subtitles
Today’s video begins with a train ride that takes me from Sydney to the Southern Highlands. The train offers some amazing views, which I enjoy, until we reach our first destination, Mita Gong. After meeting a friend, we set off on a journey, following beautiful valleys and landscapes. Along the way, we encounter amazing views, lush greenery, and some animals. After that, we check out some local shops, have a coffee, and then pick up some honey bottles before heading back on our way. After driving for a while longer, we reach our second destination, Carrington Falls. Here, our trek begins, which is a bit challenging but very beautiful. This summer, we also see wildflowers and some wildlife. And we avoid all of this to reach these views. [Music] Now, well, hello, welcome back to another video. In today’s video, I bring you this trail . I was in Metagong, and from Metagong we just came to Carrington Falls. I’m showing you one of the falls. After this, we still have two or three more places to visit . So today’s video is outside Sydney. I told you about this waterfall, and now we’ll show you a few more, so I’ll show you some shots of it. Well, for now, enjoy the cinematic shots and I see you in a big way. [Music] [ Music ] [ Music] [Music] [Music] [Music] So, today I’m in an area outside Sydney called Metagong. The Metagong area is about 200 kilometers, 150 or 200 kilometers, from Sydney. A friend of mine lives here, and I’m staying here for two nights. The place we’re going to is called Belmore Falls. We went to Carrington Falls before, and I couldn’t make much of a video of that either. The trail was a little hard but the trail here is, let me show you what kind of waterfalls are there. How ever this is my friend Francesca. How are you Francesca? Good and pretty good night. That’s good. I know Francesca since now three years. Or we were living together in Sydney but now she is in Mythagon and she is she is kind enough and she is letting me stay at her place for two nights. And or at the moment she is taking me to one of the cool spots here close to Mythagon? Yes. Or or 25 minutes? In 25 minutes or so, on the way, wherever we saw something exciting, we stopped the car there too, but how long is it going to take? Now to get to another 5 minutes. 5 minutes. Yes, so after reaching there, I will show you the rest of the video. Till then, please subscribe and wait for the video. Brother , you can see that right now we are passing through some tracks like this. It is completely graveled and it is going towards a waterfall. Just three to four minutes are left and we will park somewhere here. Then we will get down and make you check the trail. Here, while focusing completely on Miss Fresh, it is good, it is good because we have to be careful of the animals here. Kangoos , big and small, every kind of animal can come out, right? Yeah. So we are going to be super careful. No, no, no, so either we avoid them and kill them, but or let me just let us just park there and get back to here. Here we are. We’ve parked the car. Now, let me show you the trail from here. We call this place Belmore Belmore Falls. Or Belmore Falls. And the place we went before was Carrington Falls. So, this is our first time here. So, let’s see, this is our first lookout, how is Carrington Falls? I really liked it, but let’s check this one out. You still have to walk very carefully. No one knows where it is coming from, right? Could be like snakes coming out, any kind of animal coming out at any time, right? So, just make a lookout. This is a small place they’ve made from where the view comes. Let me show you. Here you can see the view from this place . [Music] This is the first lookout they’ve made. And after this, we’ll go towards the waterfall. Going through these areas little by little, find the waterfall. Now this path is going towards the waterfall. You have seen the lookout. Now you should check this path also. The sound of the waterfall is coming from here. Should be close. Not too far. Let’s see what the scene is like now. Right now we are walking on the trail. It is not that difficult. Maybe we will get to know a little while coming back. It is a climb. What is okay? My friend She’s pointing from there. It’s crazy. Let’s see. Let’s see. Where is the water? Now you can see. You can see it here. A little bit is visible. We might have to go up a little bit now. But just look . I’ll put a video here and show you two waterfalls. One coming from above and one from below. The first one was much better. Look, we’ve parked the car here. Now we’ll go over to this side. There ‘s another lookout here. Let’s go and see it. The waterfall from here was very far away. It wasn’t visible from there. And now you’ll see it from here. It’s a much better view. You can see how we’ve seen the wall of waterfalls. And it was a good thing that it was only a short route by car, or I was pretty close to the car. We didn’t have to trek that far. There were two or three lookouts that were very close to the parking lot. So what’s the plan now we are going to we can check out or it’s tiny tiny I think it’s on the way it’s before after it’s just between Mosfetagone [music] so we go to Mosfeagne or okay so yes right now you can see on the map we are going towards Mosfeagle and after Moswell we will go where it says and let’s go to Sea Road again [applause] [music] [applause] [music] [applause] here we are now Moswell and Moswell the station station is the train station the post office is here this most hotel classic they have two pubs they have the red pub and the green pub Australia you know red pub and green pub or just for the colour of the walls so they call it red pub green pub so one looks red is it this one red because after there is a green pub just on the corner I think there and it’s called green because it’s green you know Australia, this is Moss Vale, this is their city center right now. We’re passing through here right now. If we could stop somewhere, I’d try to see their green fields, etc., which were visible on the way, where all the cows, etc., so let’s see, this is also a very old area. This building has been established in 1895. And Frenchie’s own friend, I saw there, the good Darp Pub, the one going on the right, this one is green in color, that’s why it’s called the Green Pub. That was the Red Pub, this is the Green Pub, or the Gal Hotel , or classic, like , or like the main pubs of Moss Vale, or West Over , or but that was the city center, right, but this is the tourist drive. [Music] Connect every little town is so close to each other, or close to everywhere, like 10 minutes, 15 minutes, and literally 15 minutes, 15 minutes, within 10 minutes, it looks really sick and cute. Let’s see what happens next. Where do we have to go? Wherever we stop, let me show you with and watch over. As you can see these sides, how the Fond in the middle and this green and all this left and right as far as the eye can see. This is a reason I really like most well. Now we have come to this area. This is called Historic Berrima. Berrima is the name of the area. It was written there 1831. So now we are going inside its series center. Here is this Lake Shack. We are passing over it. There is a museum here. But we will just do a drive-by from here, kind of. Classic house with the Ricks. Or classic de change de change devastated just make it goodpurchure this is also a hotel here this is also a hotel here nice looksly 1834 1834 and I just them in they just to Sydney something devari de [Music] This one that is coming is saying that this was an old police station or something, jail or let’s park and see what it is, come out and take a closer look, she is saying that there was a jail here, inside it earlier it was a prison type, high walls, yes I have seen one or two spots in the Berrima area earlier that pub Shab and this could be a prison. This might be a prison because it was in 1831 and when they came in they wanted to build a prison, a correctional centre, or correction something, or the Corrective Services, but that’s also jail, or it’s written Corrective Services Wales , and there might be some writing on the board there, but I think it’s the one you can’t go inside, but I think it’s the same thing, or very much my correctional centre, so it means that that’s what’s written here. Its construction started in 1834, and by 1949 it was I’ve run it and then it became the Bema Training Center. Before that, it was just like a jail, locking up prisoners here. [Music] It ‘s a really nice town, man. It’s quite small. It’s just like this, only from there to there, that’s why it’s just from there to there, it ‘s small , it goes way back there, almost to the back. But the higher the walls are, the higher the walls, I think, of course, it is. Or let’s go a little further and see what’s next. This is their pub, where it says they have Australia’s longest continuously licensed, which means they’ve had the license since they opened, it’s never changed. Must be a hotel since Star. That’s it, this was Berrima, this is it, right? So, these are the main hotspots here, that’s also a hotel, shops, and even down there, a bit of another , or about it, so I didn’t have coffee today, we’ve already had coffee before, and so, or this was Bema, I’ll talk about the rest now in the car. What noise can you say what noise is Frenchy and in the building in the building why or you there’s this place it’s called lot what is this restaurant it’s restaurant and you working or nice work there six months six months or what kind of food Australian Australian steaks no promises boy same way as it was this building is from 1858. It’s a very old town. But look how colorful and cute it is. Because they’ve renovated and maintained everything like this . Of course it’s a very old building from the 1800s but it does look like it. And this is the school. Berrima School is a small one down here. Just from here you come from the road you’ll find it about a couple of hundred meters away. And that’s it. And the rest is greenery behind. All the green and stuff there is another cafe over there or a little bit here. Yes, we’ve come to the other side. This little coffee shop. Super cute. I think they also send old things. Wing stuff. They have a menu with coffee options like that. There’s another Bama Village Courtyard, Cafe Shops and Garden, The Courtyard. What’s there? If we go down here, they’re probably on the back right. Some shops, I’m going to go there. Let’s go. There are some shops there too. Let’s go and see. Here we are. There are benches and such. This shop is open. What is this? Shop, this pottery , another cafe, a bar. [Music] We’re going for this place. Man, they have places to sit and such. Inside, that’s the thing about small towns here. What is this ? This is a statue. No, no, it is. It is. Maybe I want to. We thought someone was standing there. Here , let’s go back to the car. Here, we got out of the car, and there’s some water here. It wasn’t that interesting. But it was just to show off. I was going to the bathroom here. Now you can check the condition of the bathrooms and public toilets in these areas. Amazing , amazing. No wonder, there was a jail here. I can see that. I guess seen that, in such conditions if you need to use the bathroom then it is understandable wait a minute I will be back here, here the bathroom is done, another drive, another drive, next destination, next destination, let’s go, you can go to, because of my mic I don’t think you can hear it in French voice, she is saying that there was some water etc. there but it was muddy, it was not worth seeing, by the way, we just left, we just stopped for the bathroom, let’s go in the car again and then show you, now we have come to our second location, now here this is called Barrel Lookout or Barrel Lookout Point, here, now let’s get down and see what has come here, from here we can see the entire city, brother. This is this, this is a barrel Look out is that barrel Or that’s what Or the whole area is a city of barrels [Music] Here is this little round sound Let’s see the memorial This is you are standing on Gangra land This is you It’s kind of a memorial I believe This is you look up [Music] We came from there. [Music] Oh that’s for the sun. This or this that’s for the sun. Original Or and this is this is how they must be doing the calendar Or check this Yes they must have done according to the movement of the sun In earlier times, according to astrology, its calendar was made here, instructions have been given here Instructions for telling the time stand on today’s date On the figure facing the hour marker stones with the Sun behind you all oh she yes this is this whole thing this is the whole this is a clock [music] this is the clock right here yes old clock when it’s sunny there is something written here there if you stand here anywhere here wherever there is shadow you will know whether it is the month of April what is it what time of the year turn right your body you are looking along your oh shadow if you are not aware of shadow hours I think these are the hours bro these these are the stones this is the hour stone 12 10 11 [music] must be inside one something or but it would be good with the shadow or [music] brother we are standing inside the clock and this is the view here let’s go over there and see panorama let’s go over here and see what is this this is some place this is called panorama I think it’s private land to beast going or a cow is standing cow is its farm if we go inside it there will be a problem it is written set up camera let’s go to the next location Here’s how it goes guys, all our stops are complete. The last one was Oxley Hill Lookout, which has a clock built into it.
