【深夜の横浜ドライブ】田中美沙がdカーシェア30分でどこまで走れるか！第四話

This time, I’ll be testing how far I can drive with d Car Share within a 30-minute time limit. I’ll be touring Yokohama City’s major tourist spots while explaining them. Now that we’re ready to depart, let’s get started. First, since this is a one-way street, I’ll turn left. This area is a nightlife district, primarily home to izakayas (Japanese pubs). I’ll turn right here. On the left, there are construction vehicles parked, but Yokohama Stadium, which hosts baseball games and other events, is located here. Yokohama Stadium also offers a wide variety of food that you can only find here. I’ll turn left here. After that, I’ll head toward Yamashita Park. Yokohama Chinatown is in the distance on the left, but I’ll pass it by. I’ll turn left here. On the right, I’ll see Yokohama Motomachi Shopping Street. I can see the YKK 45 denim zipper. The viaduct on the right is the Shuto Expressway, famous for being the setting for the race course in the video game Wangan Midnight. I’ll turn left here. On the left, I’ll see Yokohama Marine Tower, and on the right, Yamashita Park. Yamashita Park is often the location of events, but it also boasts gourmet spots and even a foot bath. On the left is Hotel New Grand, the birthplace of Neapolitan pasta. Next, we’ll head toward Yokohama Minato Mirai. Note that when heading toward Yokohama Minato Mirai, you must stay in the right lane before turning right, so be careful. Turn right here. On the right is Elephant’s Nose Park, a relatively new park that opened in 2009. On the left is Yokohama World Porters, and on the right are the Cup Noodles Museum and Yokohama Manyo Club. Incidentally, Yokohama Manyo Club is recommended, as you can also stay overnight. On the left is Yokohama Cosmo World. However, I was surprised at how strict photography permits are at this amusement park. Turn left here. To the right are skyscrapers like Queen’s Square and Yokohama Landmark Tower. Yokohama Landmark Tower is currently undergoing renovations. While the hotel is already closed, the observation deck will also be temporarily closed by the end of the year for renovations. If you’d like to view the city of Yokohama from the observation deck and take photos, now’s your chance. Turn left here. On the right is Yokohama City Hall. It’s notable for its cute Pikachu and Eevee mailboxes. It’s almost time to return the car, so let’s head there. Turn right here. By the way, when returning a car share vehicle, this area has many one-way streets, so be careful! Turn left here. We’ll soon arrive at the station. Note that you must back into this station, so park carefully. We’ve parked safely. After confirming everything, simply complete the return procedure on your smartphone. We’ll continue testing this in various locations.
