Dried fruits dipped in chocolate. Shikuwasa Park. We also visited the Shikuwasa Park. Shikuwasa juice on tap. Where they process shikuwasa Into different products. The staff informed me that it aids in weight loss. Ok fine. I’ll buy it. 😆 📍 American Village We’re eating at an Italian restaurant today. There’s a wedding reception inside so we’re eating outside. 📍SOLiS GRANDE. 📍Uruma Blue Pottery Shop. I wanna buy some pottery today. Especially from the beatiful town of Uruma. Cash or Paypay only. In celebration of Children’s Day, koinobori (carp streamers) are displayed. We enjoy living in beautiful Okinawa but due to unforeseen circumstances we have to leave. We just have to go with the flow. Since mr. ramen’s Land Cruiser is less than 25 years old, he can’t import it to Hawaii. 🙁 he can’t import it to Hawaii. 🙁 📍Naha International Airport. Taking the kids to Nagoya. Nagoya Station. First time in Legoland Japan! Had a blast at Legoland Hotel. If I had a dime for every Lego I stepped on at home. 😆 Went to Toyota Museum in Nagoya Riding the Hello Kitty train to the airport. ✈️ Due to strong winds, trains were stuck. We were in the train for hours. And I heard many missed their flights. But recently I learned that nothing is intrinsically bad. My favorite airport meal. 📍Honolulu. 1 more flight to go and 1 more airport lunch. 😆 We’re flying to Hawai’i Island. The flight is only 50 minutes long. Finally arrived in Hawai’i Island. Driving on the right-hand side of the road again. 📍Hilton Waikoloa Village. I have to stop converting yen to dollars in my head. Aloha. The floor is lava… rocks! 📍Juice 101. UFO Tours!! Driving to Waimea. Waimea is known for ranching and
paniolo (cowboy) culture in the Big Island. They have that ranch farm feel to them. KTA Waimea store. Bring a jacket. It’s freezing in here! These are my favorite local snacks. Eating my favorite food group – Pho! In Japan, 1 very thin napkin. In Hawai’i, many napkins! Good morning from Hilton Waikoloa Village in Big Island. Gonna eat breakfast, I’m hungry. These are the activities here. Zipline, manta ray dive, a luau, Volcano tour, snorkel adventure and sunset sail. We’re here at the Ocean Tower. There are many towers here in the Hilton Waikoloa Village. It’s pretty nice. Big rooms. This property has 1,240 rooms. Top of the morning to ya. We came here to see our home. We’re so excited and we’re very very grateful. After we bought the house, I was flipping through my journal. I forgot that I wrote this. “Have a house in Big Island with a big garden.” I think I wrote it this year but not recently. So I was shocked. I manifested this house. Our heaven on earth. Can’t wait to plant trees & veggies! Lots of fruit trees. Wanna grow cacao, too. It says “big garden.” Look at said big garden. When our family lived in Hawai’i, we didn’t really appreciate it as much. But after living in Japan for a few years, and coming back to Hawai’i to see family and friends, we appreciate it so much more now. Japan is very nice. It’s beautiful. We love the culture. Hawai’i is ultimately our home. We’re happy to be back. It’s an albizia tree. Most people who have seen this tree on our property Say that’s an invasive tree. It’s not very safe So you guys should cut it down. We’re planning on cutting it down. We’re looking for a licensed tree cutter in our area. The cows are so beautiful. But they’re going back to their owner’s property. And we’re so sad to see them go. I also found a macadamia nut tree on our property. There’s only 1 so it’s very special. Feeling immense gratitude and joy. 🙏🏻 But it’s time to go back to pack. arrived in Honolulu. eating 1 more airport lunch. 📍Kansai International Airport Staying at the Hotel Nikko Kansai Airport tonight. Jet lagged. Gonna have dinner at Olive Hill not Olive Garden. Next morning. Eating breakfast at the hotel. The food here is so good. Staying at Hotel Nikko Kansai Airport. There’s also a First Cabin Hotel in another floor. Here at Kansai International Airport Which is the airport you’ll use for Osaka There’s a cafe lounge called Nodoka. There’s food, a lounge area, Premium seat, a private room. This is also where you can shower. There are lockers here at Aeroplaza but there’s only a few. Patrol bot. This is where you can get your train tickets Also your JR rail pass. Osaka expo cookies. Takoyaki socks. Being an airport dad. Just noticed the airport carpet is art!
