Hello, my name is Shie. I recently visited Umeda, Osaka. This time, I’m going on a food tour. Finally, I’ll move a little further to the latest scenic spot. First, I’ll head to GRAND GREEN OSAKA. It’s a fantastic view for building lovers! I’ll head to the first basement floor of the South Building. We’ll head to Time Out Market Osaka, which opened in March 2025. This is a large-scale food and culture market with a total of approximately 800 seats across its expansive floors. This is the pork tacos (1,400 yen) my husband ordered. We went to Haoju Taqueria, an authentic Mexican restaurant. The homemade corn tortillas are wrapped around juicy braised pork and herbs, making it truly authentic! This is the okonomiyaki I chose, with Japanese black beef tendon konjac (1,400 yen). We went to Koala Shokudo, a creative teppanyaki restaurant. It’s packed with vegetables and has a nice texture. The braised beef tendon is tender. The okonomiyaki was satisfying and flavorful. Thank you for the meal. From GRAND GREEN OSAKA, I passed JR Osaka Station and headed to Hanshin Bar Yokocho, located on the second basement floor of Hanshin Department Store. I arrived at La Cuchara de Donostia, a casual Spanish bar. First, I had draft beer (660 yen) and sparkling wine (660 yen). Cheers! I ordered pintxos. From left to right, they are prosciutto and tomato (440 yen), salted cod brandada (440 yen), and the seasonal recommended quiche (550 yen). I felt like I was in Spain. The quiche was very filling. It was crispy and the aroma of cheese filled the air. By the way, was it okay to eat it with my hands? I apologize if my manners were bad. The other pintxos were also delicious. I had a stylish time. Thank you for the meal. Next, I went to GARIGUETTE, located in Umekita Square in GRAND GREEN OSAKA. This shop specializes in freshly baked mille-feuille, where they prepare each one right in front of you. There was a cafe space, so we sat on the terrace. The boxes were very cute. We ordered a half-and-half mille-feuille. We chose two types: crème de luxe (600 yen) and rum & raisin (650 yen). This way, you can hold the mille-feuille and eat it with your hands. The crispy pie crust is filled with plenty of cream. It’s also great to be able to enjoy two different flavors at once. By the way, this is what our table looked like. lol. Thank you for the meal. We crossed JR Osaka Station again and headed to our next gourmet spot. We arrived at Hanshin Department Store. We went to Snack Park on the first basement floor. We decided to try Hanshin’s specialty, grilled squid. It’s popular, so there’s a line, but the turnover is fast, so it was our turn in about 10 minutes. My husband ordered a beer (410 yen) and grilled squid (170 yen). We ate standing up. The dough has a very chewy texture and the secret broth is delicious. It’s filled with plenty of sliced ​​squid, and the squid flavor fills your mouth with each bite. It’s just the right size for a small bite. I enjoyed the nostalgic taste. Thank you for the meal. We arrived in Yodoyabashi, just one subway stop from Umeda. We headed to the top floor! This is Yodoyabashi Station One, a complex. We took the elevator. We were whisked straight up to the 30th floor, where the Sky Terrace is located! It rained during the day, but the sun came out. Looking directly below, it was so high! It’s perfect for those who love observation decks. This is the Umeda area where we were just now. By the way, admission is free. Nakanoshima’s historical architecture from above is also beautiful! I want to walk around that area again. The view is spectacular no matter which direction you look. I’m really looking forward to the night view. You can see a bit of Osaka Castle. You can see many of Osaka’s famous landmarks. The observation deck is decorated with greenery. It feels like an oasis in the city, and it’s very relaxing. There’s a counter, so it would be nice to enjoy the view while sipping coffee from the cafe and bar next door. Looking up, the ceiling is open, so you can feel the fresh air. I’m so glad the rain has stopped! I could see the sun setting. From another passageway, I could get a good view of Osaka Castle. All that’s left is to relax on a bench and wait for the night view. It’s getting quite dark. The counter looks like a lovely bar. It’s even more impressive at night. The glow of the buildings is so beautiful. The colorful lighting is also worth seeing.   3. こんにちは。大阪っていっぱい色んな建物出来てグランフロントが最近やと思ったら10年越してるし😅そこでお店の方も新しく出来て大変でしょうね😂そこでのイカ焼き残ってるのは凄いです🎉
