訪れた者の心にだけに深く残る“静けさの風景”
瓜割石庭公園は、高畠町の外れにある採石場の跡地です。切り立った白い岩壁が連なるその光景は、まるで異世界の神殿。人の手によって削られた跡が、時を経て自然と調和し、幻想的な静けさを生んでいます。岩肌に反射する光がゆらめき、まるで石たちが語りかけてくるようです。
楢下宿は、山形県上山市にひっそりと残る、かつての羽州街道の宿場町。江戸時代、参勤交代や商人たちが行き交ったこの道は、今も当時の面影を色濃く残しています。蔵造りの家並みや、茅葺き屋根の旧旅籠（はたご）、そして清らかな小川が流れる町並みは、まるで時間がゆっくりと巻き戻ったような感覚に包まれます。

Tsumewari Sekitei Park is located on the outskirts of Takahata Town, on the site of a former quarry. The sight of the towering white rock walls stretching out before you feels like a temple from another world. The marks left by human hands have, over time, harmonized with nature, creating a fantastical stillness. The light flickering off the rock surfaces seems to make the stones themselves speak.
Narageshuku is a quiet remnant of a former post town along the Oshu road in Kaminoyama City, Yamagata Prefecture. This road, once bustling with feudal lords on their mandatory visits to Edo and merchants during the Edo period, still retains a strong sense of its past. The rows of storehouse-style houses, the old thatched-roof inns (hatago), and the townscape with its clear flowing stream envelop you in a feeling as if time has slowly turned back.
