As PRAIAS mais LINDAS de Menorca! Cala Macarella, Macarelleta e o Pôr-do-Sol PERFEITO! 🌅

We are here on the edge of the Ciutadella Nautical Club and today we are going to do a boat trip and he will take us to one of the coves which is Macarella, Macareleta too and other coves around there. So follow along as we’re going to put the details of this boat trip, how much it costs, what it’s like, right, the whole process. And look here the level of the boats they have for these tours. I don’t know if we’ll take this one. I think it will be one of those smaller ones there. The boats leave here from the port, right, from Ciutadella de Menorca. And here at the marina we can already see all these boats here. And there in front, eh, as there is still a a little early after the boat leaves at 10am, a line starts to form here. Then There’s a person up front who’s organizing the whole tour, right? Then they opened the little gate there, people have already started passing by. Here’s for those who are curious to know the price of renting a boat whole, here are the values, right?, the months and it’s not that cheap, but sometimes it’s worth it. We then entered and now we are going to head over there to the boat which seems to be the last one we are going to take there. We see the boats, as I mentioned before, some of them are for people to rent too, right? It completely. As we said in another video, these boats can come with a sailor, with a pilot in this case, right? or not. I think the boat is one of those here. Hello. Good morning. Good morning. Going up the stairs here. We’re going to sit here on the top part here at the back. this boat trip, so to book it, in our case, we wanted to come using the app Get Your Guide. And I believe you can also access the official website here called Menorca Blava, of this boat, right? Here, at the edge of the pier, you also have several other boats, other companies who also do this similar tour. In the case of this tour, I booked it two months in advance in advance and the ticket is €35 for half a day, right? Our tour will last 3:30 hours, but they They also offered a full day option, which I think is approximately a 7 hour tour. The beaches are practically the same thing, the only difference is that you will have more time at each one. beach and also and will include a lunch there more or less around 1 pm they offer this lunch. They say it’s paella and the tour is €70, which is the full day tour. We’re starting to go out here now, so he is giving some instructions here on the boat regarding the tour. And the information that was given here now is that we will do a navigation about 1 hour until you reach the stopping point. This is a closest point to Mallorca. We’re 36 km away, and here’s one of the island’s lighthouses. So, in the background there, the man on the boat just said that it is one of the horse’s paths is that it takes that tour around the island. It’s approximately 185 km, according to the information he gave. And now, in 10 minutes we will arrive at the only beach where we will stop called Son Saura and he will stop a little bit for us to take a dip and stay there on the sand too if you want. We then arrive here at Son Saura beach and here we will make a stop which is the only one of the day. of the tour, where in this case we will go diving or there is also the option of going to the beach, staying in beach, right? The boat is scheduled to leave here at noon. So within that time you can do whatever you want here, dive or go to the beach, take a walk there on the shore, in the rocks. Well, the boat trip didn’t turn out as well as we’d hoped, because the sea is still a little rough and we wanted a spot to dive, right? It’s just that the people on the boat crew said that they would only make the crossing here on this beach Son Saura for us to pass by the beach, uh, go down to the beach itself, right? and not go diving, because the sea is still rough, the water is a bit cloudy and, unfortunately, we won’t be able to do it diving. You can see this from the boat. We took a look and the water is very choppy, you can’t really see that clarity, that clear water that is normal here in Menorca, right? And so now we’re going to the beach. If anyone wants to go for a swim from there, that’s fine. But to snorkel, see fish, I think it’s a bit complicated today. So, this is the view here from Son Saura beach and we see there in front a darker strip, these are the posidonias, right? It’s the type of maritime vegetation. And we’re going to walk here along this walkway to the other side there. The water seemed a little clearer, bluer. So let’s go there to see if it really is. it’s like this. And here at the lifeguard stand, we also see the yellow flag showing that the sea really isn’t the best, right, for diving or even swimming. It’s a little stirred. This is because of the storm we had the day before yesterday. And it was really windy strong here. And on this side, unfortunately we also have this water a little and darkened by account of the posidonia, right? But despite these algae here, this posidonia, right? Which is not algae, it’s a plant. The sand is white and fine too. Very, very beautiful. Oh, I just took a dip here. So, the water is really choppy. I saw two fish at most and it’s not very good for snorkeling. and diving, no, just to cool off, right? The temperature is great. Oh, whoever wants to go to the beach is It’s normal here to have these fruit carts and it was just like you said, right? Coconut water, mango, pineapple. It’s worth noting that there’s no bar here, right? It’s a truly natural beach, there’s only a lifeguard. there with a support point, but if you want a little fruit, something like that, there are these gentlemen who pass by with carts and have frozen fruit. And the boat continued moving then after that point of Son Saura, right? and he came here now to Cala Turqueta. The access to this beach, it can also be done by car, right? or by bus that also gets here. And the boat Now then the tour continues and it continues here bordering all these cliffs, right? It’s quite interesting notice that there are even some people there and some of the tours that do this type of tour, right, that goes right up to a cave like that. It’s also very interesting for you to observe that. So, we are arriving here at Macarella beach and Macarelleta too. This is one of the most iconic beaches here in Menorca, isn’t it? The one we’re looking at here is the macareleta. It’s a little smaller. We can already see here that it has a strip of sand good too, right? It has white sand and a bluer strip of sea too, which must be very interesting for diving. I think the boat won’t get that far ahead, which would be the Macarella itself, because it’s a bit congested there. We got off the boat now, so the tour that We did it and the tour was very interesting. We passed by some of the coves, some of the beaches. Well, we only made one stop, right, at Son Saura. And it’s a really cool ride, Yes. And now we’re going to have a little lunch, right? And then the idea is to go to Macarella, go to the beach itself. And so, in general, I think a boat trip is really worth it, especially because it’s fast, in the case that it was only 3:30 hours, you see an overview of the beaches. Of course it would be better if today there was good weather for diving, snorkeling, right? But it’s still worth it because you already know several beaches in just a few hours. Well, we came here to Cala Macarella. It’s the point that follows her, to this Cala. But there are some people there who warned It is not possible to go by car, so to get there you have to go by bus. But the thing is, we’re still about 30 minutes away from there. So What was recommended is to go to Cala Galdana and from there continue walking along the slope, right, until or along the trail until you reach Cala Macarella. It is also worth remembering that this is throughout the summer. So we are here again at the beginning of Cala Galdana and here behind we can already see the sign pointing there which is that Macarella. So let’s start the trail here now. Yeah, I think It should take about 15 minutes of hiking, from what we saw on the map. And we’ll start it here. It starts in this part a bit full of rocks like this, but I think that along the way It will be quieter. But despite it being like this, look at the view, how beautiful. Just for your information, we even looked for a Taxi Boat there, right, which he takes you from one beach to another. The price per person is €11. This is interesting for those who also, let’s suppose, eh, that the way to get to Cala Macarella is only by trail or by bus, Sometimes there is the issue of difficulty in accessing this beach for people with reduced mobility. So, the Taxi Boat could be an option or the bus if it also has an accessible part for that, right? Well, and in the middle of the trail here there are also some goats here, maybe by chance, right? But they’re here grazing. And the path here in this part, we took an easier path now too. And just this little part that I’m passing by to see the goats here. Here’s a little more bumpy, but it’s calm. Then as I said about the path, it’s more like this now, it’s flatter. A few rocks just in the middle of the path, but on average it’s more like this beaten earth, right?, flat. Oh. And here at the end of the trail we can already see the Macarella cove there. And it took more or less about 25 minutes on the trail. We’ll go down here and see if there’s a space on the sand for us to stay. Look, we mentioned the Taxi Boat. These are inflatable boats, right? People there took to get here more easily instead of taking the trail. So this is the view that we have Cala Macarella and it really is one of the most beautiful here in the region of Menorca, on the island of Menorca. I’ll follow the sign here and continue the trail to Macarelleta. And as we see here, the sign indicates that to Turqueta there, Cala Galdana here, probably the Macareleta comes this way. Wow! Look at the view from up here. from Macarella. That’s how it is, in general, these trails here in Menorca are quite easy. There are some that are slightly difficult on the path, but this one is easy to medium. It is, you can see that I’m a little out of breath, but that’s normal, she was on a climb there. So, anyone can do this here. Here I’m exploring another part. It seems like it’s not enough explored this part here, but it gives access to some grids there. It’s closed now, but they made some notches here in the rock. I don’t know why, but there’s this here. Well, to continue, let’s climb these little stairs here up there. Yes, now I understand why they say this is one of the most beautiful beaches in Menorca. The scenery is truly indescribable. You have to be here to truly experience that feeling. But let’s go, following the path here. So, here we can already get a piece of the view already from Macarelleta, which is the second beach next to Macarella, which is the main one, right? and also very beautiful, but the strip of sand there is a little smaller, like we already had we had seen from the boat. They say this was one of the first nudist beaches on the island, but currently I think that this is no longer in force, right? So this is the view that we have it from above Macarelleta and it looks like a swimming pool here. It’s even clearer and more crystal clear this water… people diving there, right? And it really is very clear, very, the water here is very beautiful. And the whole scenery is also very, very beautiful, lush. The access So for this beach, it’s not that easy, it’s much more rugged, there are a lot of rocks, a very rocky slope, so access to this beach here is a little more difficult, but anyone with the ease of doing so can get here easily. Well, so here we end the trail we did there through Macarella and Macarelleta, right? So, it took us about 38 minutes to get back here. And now we’re going head to the car and continue the trip to the hotel. And we really enjoyed this beach there, Macarelleta. Yes, we went diving there, we didn’t see any fish, but the sand was white, the sand was very, the beach was very clean, there wasn’t any posidonia, right? So, this was sensational this beach. We really liked it and that’s it. Exactly. And it’s worth it if you have children, I found it accessible calm, good visibility for those who like to dive. Very few fish. I don’t know if it’s because of the excitement this week, right, the sea, but the trail and everything is really worth it more. It’s a different place on the island to visit and for me it’s already the top 1. And the most beautiful waters and visibility comes first. Yes, it’s no wonder she’s famous; she’s really very beautiful. It’s worth checking out. Today we are here in Binibeca, a very beautiful village, very special here in Menorca. It’s very charming because most of the houses here are painted white, whitewashed. So it gives a very beautiful appearance. This village, so it was built recently now in 1972, more or less. And all the architecture here around the houses, although there are some more modern houses, they chose to paint them all white. So here it gave a very interesting look, it seems as if you were there in Greece, for example, Santorini, it gives an idea of as if it were there. Oh, and here we can already see the style of the little houses, very rustic. Here we are passing through a corridor that will give access to the sea. Look at the little house next door. It’s very rustic, very pretty. And here they even paint the roof white, Oh, and for those who don’t know, These little fruits here on the cactus are edible, you see? You just have to be careful when removing them. There are thorns and peel them too, because the thorns are a bit of a nuisance, but they are very tasty. And the name is then Fig Tree or Fig of India. Well, this is the beginning of the village of Binibeca, which has all the houses painted white, right? It is located about 8 km from the city of Maó, on the south coast here in Menorca. Here we can already see the little shops and restaurants. People here are already taking advantage of the opportunity to grab some breakfast. It’s still early morning here, It’s early. And this is a pedestrian-only zone, right? This part here where we’re walking is only pedestrians same. And that most central part of the village. So here in this village, most of them are private houses, right, just like we’re seeing here. And one recommendation they give is to be silent, because they are residents who live here, they are fishermen. But we see some tourists coming in here to take a picture. And here we continue seeing some parts here still of the structure of the houses. It’s like a labyrinth, where everything is very close together and very beautiful, you know? This part is very interesting. I think it’s worth visiting like this, of course, respecting the private space of the people who live here, right? This is the part from behind. We already see it there in the parking lot where people leave their cars, right? And here it looks better, the style of the little houses is also more open. Oh, and here we go out in a part since it overlooks the sea. So this is the village of Binbeca. If you don’t know it yet, it’s here in Menorca, want to know, come here, you will be very surprised. And this part here has some entrances with stairs, right, for those who like to dive in the sea. And it’s good that it’s a more isolated part, Although the sea is very rough today, we can see that there are people already in the water enjoying it. So here near the village of Binibeca, the first beach that was written on Maps, we found which was great for diving, but at least today the sea is very rough. There’s access via a ladder, right? but by the rocks. I don’t know if you can even see it, there’s a man going down there and he calls it Cala Ses Olles. Since it’s so busy, I don’t feel like going in. The idea was to try snorkeling, see some fish, but I think the way the sea is, it doesn’t give much visibility. Well, this one is Cala O Blanc, which is also close to Binibeca. It’s a little more the water is clear, right? A little easier to access too. There’s a very sandy strip narrow there. Enough people, right, to take up the space. We’re here on the way to Cala En Porter. Which is another cove here on the south bank there, look. Full of parasols. This beach here, it already has a larger strip of sand, quite large. Even the access to it is already quite shallow. So, for those who are with family, with children, it’s interesting too, right? This beach, so, as we see here, it already has a good structure, it has restaurants, lifeguards there too, and there are also places selling umbrellas, chairs, and floats. So, Sometimes you forget some beach equipment, they have everything here. And the facilities here are excellent. We just took a dip in the sea. The water is excellent, although today there is a yellow flag there. bottom. And rent it. Here at the beach they do it from €18, from €18 to €22 for 1 hour. You take either the canoe or the stand up paddle. Although today, as the weather is very windy, there are waves, and there’s none of that in the water. You can just enjoy the waves and take a good dip. And we’re here at Cala Sacaleta. This one has a little bit of sand there, a strip of sand, right? It’s also excellent for snorkeling and diving. The cool thing about this beach is that You can make or assemble the paddle board here, right? We already assembled it there, let’s play around a little here later. And there in front there’s a kind of fort. I’m going to try to get to it there now. I don’t know if you can see it from the bottom there. Menorca is a very interesting place for us to do these walks, these explorations among the rocks. And there are trails that provide easy access to these places. Here we are already arriving here, so this structure, right? It looks like a type of fortress. There’s a gate there that closes, but let’s go around here to get a better look from the other side. It’s a structure, there’s no sign indicating what it is. It’s a kind of fortress, right? We left Cala Sacaleta and now we are in a side cove here. This part here, as it must have greater depth, there are more boats parked there and we have many doing rowing too and some good diving, because look at the color of that water. Cala Santandria and we are in front of that restaurant, Sa Nacra. We were here a few days ago. And now the view here, Look, from inside, you can see there, it looks like an interesting restaurant because it has tables are almost there in the water, right, because of the rocks. And it’s one of the most famous ones here region. Many people like to come here just to have this view and sometimes it’s worth doing your own scheduling. There’s no sponsorship, but I found it quite interesting. The place is very beautiful, look around! And the cool thing here near the hotel that we see is this large flow of people, cars passing by here. Up ahead we see a lot of people also to watch the sunset, right? Yeah, the sunset here is an icon of this part of the island, because it really is very beautiful. And here the People get a little crazy to see the sunset and sometimes the parking here gets a little congested. So what happens is that the cars pass by, kind of scraping against each other another one. So, if you have your car or a rental car, right, of course, you have to have a certain amount of care when parking to avoid any danger or paying extra for it. So, here we are with this beautiful view of the port of Mahón. And even for those who want to visit this part, There are boat trips, you can book and take a trip here quite quickly, eh, It’s usually an hour. And you get to see this wonderful view and a little of the history of this port. Oh, not to mention that we didn’t show some things in the video. For example, It is possible to observe a little of the archaeology, right, of the ancient one here in the region, there are also tours for observing the starry sky at night, which is a very interesting place for that, thanks then to the little light pollution we have here on the island. So you can observe the starry sky very well, including the Milky Way at night. And here we end then our trip to Menorca ending here with this beautiful view of the port of Mahon. And Until next time. That’s it!!! Don’t forget to like and subscribe to the channel.
