Hello, I’m Emi I’m heading from Tokyo to a campsite in Yamanashi Prefecture The Shuto Expressway and Hachioji Junction, the usual crowded areas, were packed as expected The weather was nice, but quite hot I headed to lunch at a restaurant I wanted to check out before going to the campsite A restaurant run by the sake brewery “Shichiken” It opens at 11:30, and I arrived 15 minutes early I put my name down and was the fifth person to be listed There’s a direct store next to the restaurant, so I’ll stop by later Everything on the menu looked delicious A luxurious lunch It was a delicious and very satisfying lunch We went to Shichiken’s brewery next to the restaurant There’s also a shop where you can buy sake and a cafe where you can enjoy sweets You can also sample the sake at the shop My husband bought a 300ml bottle Sake cups and sake bottles were also on sale next to the shop The storehouse is very large, and it seems that they also offer tours of the Gyozaisho and Denso Storehouse Diagonally across from Shichiken is the Japanese confectionery shop Kinseiken We bought some dessert We stopped off at the Hakushuto Roadside Station and supermarket They also sell Koshu Wine Trout and Fujinosuke After doing some shopping at Selva, we headed to the campsite This time, I had been wanting to go to this campsite during the cold season but I decided to make a reservation as I thought the summer atmosphere would be nice too The altitude is not high, at 650-700m, but it is surrounded by trees It looks like we’ll be able to camp in the dappled sunlight Check in! This time I asked for a site with power outlets There were not many other users so I was told I could choose any site I decided on site B-14 There were not many users that day so it was quiet even in front of the pool It was hot, but it was nice in the shade The tent got wet from the last camping trip I managed to dry it out, but I will check for mud and other dirt I will aim to break my record of how many minutes it takes to inflate it The fastest time was 4 minutes and 10 seconds Surprisingly, there was no noticeable dirt on the tent, so I was relieved The ground was covered with sand New equipment introduced An air bed for my husband, whose birthday is coming up It’s quite loud Be careful as it doesn’t shut off automatically It’s comfortable I’ll sleep in the cot as usual There is a place to run a power cable through to the tent Checking out what it looks like from the other side The water flowing in front of us is not a river or a stream, but is described as a “waterway” It has been artificially dammed so that it can be used as a pool The view from the site It’s hot, so we bought some ice Let’s have a snack♫ Our secret pleasure as a couple is predicting the results of the Saturday horse races My husband is full of confidence I hope we win! I’m curious about the pool in front of us It’s well maintained and not a single stone is on it, so your bare feet won’t hurt There’s no moss and it’s a beautiful lazy river It’s shallow upstream and deep downstream, making it easy to play in My husband is on standby for the horse races Please join us at the races It’s a long distance of 2200m Check the position of the horses we’re betting on The second most popular horse is at the back If it stays like this my husband wo n’t win Neither of us won No matter how much we check, we’re going to lose It was a pleasant afternoon, even though the heat was pleasant We went for a walk There are two other convenient toilets apart from the one in the administration building (three in total) The toilet at the reception is a Western-style toilet, but it’s a squat type so you might be bothered by the smell (The other two toilets have flush toilets so the smell wasn’t an issue) Firewood is 900 yen Each site is very spacious, and there are trees and rocks between them so there’s a high sense of privacy We came to see the sites with power in Area C Even though the two sites are combined, it’s spacious!! C-13 and C-14 also have power outlets, and they’re really spacious. We came to see the popular D site. It’s around 4pm, and the western sun is strong and it’s quite hot. Maybe I’ll make a separate video explaining the details of the sites? The vending machine at reception costs 200 yen. It seems there are also events at the campsite. Inside the reception. Not only does each site have a nice atmosphere, the manager is very friendly and makes me want to come back again. This is such a wonderful campsite. My husband is taking a short nap. I’m going to soak the rice we’ll use for dinner. Here comes the Koshu wine trout we bought at the Hakushu Roadside Station. What a nice color! I have to remove the skin (The knife was dull last time too, but I forgot to sharpen it) I read that the skin tastes good if you grill it in olive oil, so I tried that, but… It stuck together and it was a failure The meat looks really tasty I also bought a sake cup The wine trout was really tasty Cheap lamb from the supermarket Germinated brown rice and white rice It’s one cup, but it feels like a lot I sprinkled a lot of pepper on it Add plenty of spring onions and your “Lamb Garlic Rice” is done Garlic and pepper are undoubtedly delicious My husband is the master of adding flavors I choked on the lemon and pepper My husband’s sake was gone in no time Next time, I’d like to try making pepper rice like the one in Pepper Lunch It’s a little hot because of the temperature and humidity, but the electric fan feels great The sun is setting and shadows are beginning to envelope us There were only two other groups in our area, each at a separate site There were no night lights, so we were able to camp in natural darkness As we were talking about the possibility of attracting rhinoceros beetles or something, a female stag beetle came to visit I asked on social media and it seemed it was definitely a stag beetle Getting ready for bed 25°C Good night Good morning It’s a sunny and pleasant morning A nostalgic morning, reminiscent of when I woke up early during summer holidays as a child The majestic mountain ridge of Mount Houou From the northwestern site, you can hear the flow of the Otake River and even see the Southern Alps Let’s go to a place where we can see the river It seems there is a place where you can go out to the riverbank We found some steep stone steps As soon as we got down, we were at the river! After a short morning walk Now it’s time for coffee and breakfast The aroma of awakening Plenty of milk Making coleslaw in a bag I also added corn and lemon juice I forgot I had crab sticks, so I’ll add a second one! Let’s eat! The coleslaw hot sandwich was delicious♪ The second one with crab sticks was even more delicious! The sunshine is starting to shine Mornings make you want to take deep breaths Deflate the airbed. You can use the built-in electric pump, but the noise is annoying I use the air valve to deflate it halfway I only used the electric pump to deflate it for the final time It’s not so noticeable because the site has the sound of water, but it’s a quiet site If the neighboring site is close, the sound makes you hesitate a little The campsite had a really nice atmosphere I want to visit again! The pool in front of us was also beautiful and gorgeous The two days were filled with the sound of cicadas But it feels like autumn is just around the corner The tense moment of deflating the tent Pack up and head to the hot springs! I stopped off at Mukawa no Yu I was watching the anime “Super Cub” After the hot springs, I went to “Shokudo Yamaki” I ordered their famous “Mojini Set Meal” Mojini, a stew of pork innards and beef tendons, was delicious
