【2025年最新】始発で行く千畳敷カールの紅葉散策、日本一高い駅から絶景を

A must-try dish when visiting Komagane. Koamagane Kogen Resort Linx We stayed overnight at Resort Linx. Guests can use the parking lot before and after their stay,
so departure the next day is worry-free. The next morning – Tuesday, September 26, 6:00 AM We boarded the first bus of the day.
From the Komagaike stop in front of the hotel, heading to the ropeway station. At Suganodai Bus Center, there was a line despite being a weekday. It takes about 30 minutes up the mountain road to reach Shirabidaira. From Shirabidaira, a 7-minute aerial ride takes you to Senjojiki Station,
the highest-altitude station in Japan. Senjojiki Curl Yuu: Amazing! Yasu: Whoa! Yuu: It’s a sea of clouds! Yasu: The cloud sea came out great. Yuu: Though it’s missing a bit in the front. Yasu: That makes it more mystical. Chūō Alps National Park – Mount Hōken Yasu: Wow, best position! Yuu: Yay♪ Yuu: You know, on the bus earlier I had to use all my coins,
so I had nothing left for shrine offerings. Yasu: Right. Yuu: They took it all exactly… I had only a 10,000 yen bill left,
but of course I couldn’t use that. Yuu: Feels so good. Yasu: The air is so fresh and clear… This is Senjojiki Curl, right below Mount Hōken in the Chūō Alps. At 2,612 meters, this bowl-shaped valley was formed by glaciers. About 20,000 years ago, during the Ice Age,
glaciers carved this terrain over long ages. It remains today like a sculpture of nature. In summer, around 150 species of delicate alpine flowers bloom like a garden. In autumn, the scenery changes completely. The slopes turn yellow, red, and orange, contrasting beautifully with the white rocky cliffs. The walking trail starts right outside Senjojiki Station,
a circular loop of about 45 minutes. Walk slowly to gaze up at the sharp peaks of Mount Hōken, or simply feel the breeze and watch the movement of the clouds. What’s great about Senjojiki Curl is how accessible it is. With the ropeway quickly gaining altitude, even those without stamina can easily enjoy these mountain views. In this “place close to the sky,” you’re surrounded by panoramic nature. That is the true charm of Senjojiki Curl. Yuu: As expected, everyone heads that way. Yasu: The climbers in full gear keep going higher and higher. Yuu: So, we’ll just take the easy walking trail down, haha. Yasu: Nobody else is going that way, haha. Yuu: It’s so spacious. Yasu: The view really opened up. Yuu: This is a must-see spot. At the end of the walking trail lies “Kengaike Pond.” On calm days, Mount Hōken reflects on the water surface,
like a natural mirror. This moment, when you can once again gaze back
at the vast Senjojiki Curl scenery, is a luxurious way to conclude your walk. Komagaike Farms Yasu: Is this the Suzuran soft serve? Yuu: Yeah♪ Delicious. Yasu: So good—refreshing yet creamy. Yuu: I thought Suzuran soft serve had actual lilies of the valley in it. Yasu: It’s made with Suzuran milk.
Lily of the valley is actually poisonous, you know. Yasu: You thought it had lilies of the valley? Haha. Yuu: Yeah, that’s what I thought, haha. TSURUYA Akaho Store Yuu: “Ready-to-use Buna Shimeji,” it says. Yasu: Nice, just like the package says, haha. Yuu: Let’s buy this. You can freeze and use it straight. Yasu: Yeah, super handy. Yasu: Retort curry. Yuu: Oh, mushroom curry! Found it! Yuu: Last time, I thought we had some at home so I didn’t buy it,
but it turned out we didn’t. Yasu: That’s the one you shouted “It’s gone!” about. Yuu: Should we just get two? Yasu: Sounds good. TSURUYA’s original apple juice and jams are famous too,
but our recommendation is their dressing—it’s easy to take home. Yuu: Good work today! Yuu: We just had Shinshu miso ramen at Komagatake Service Area. Yuu: And we also stopped at TSURUYA. Checked that off too. Yasu: We made it there. Yuu: Now, all that’s left is heading back to Tokyo. Yuu: The bus was really crowded. Yasu: Lots of extra buses were added. Yuu: And every one of them was full. Yuu: Glad we went early in the morning. Yuu: I bet around Kengaike Pond it was a battle
for the best photo spots. Yasu: Yeah, like “This is my spot!” Yuu: “Excuse me, but this seems to be my place… would you be so gracious as to move?” Yasu: Why are you suddenly speaking so overly polite? Haha. Yuu: So if you plan to visit, keep in mind—go early! Yuu: Though, since we woke up at 5 AM, now I’m sleepy, haha. Yasu: True that. Yuu: I’m in the driver’s seat now,
