Today we are driving to one of the most underrated regions in Argentina. Because everyone when come to Argentina always talk about Patagonia, but no one actually ever talks about northern Argentina. And today we’re actually going to a very special province called Jujuy. No, Jujuy. Jujuy. It’s in Spanish. It’s so bad word in Russian. Anyway, this province is actually bordering Bolivia. That’s why the culture is also very similar to that side, more than Argentina. And the reason why we go there, because we have two goals. Number one, we want to see the famous 14 color Rainbow Mountains. Yes, we’ve seen already rainbow mountains in Peru, but that one was seven color only. Yes. And this mountain is actually around 4,000 meters high as well. So we could potentially get high altitude sickness. And secondly, we also want to see the famous salt lake here in northern Argentina, similar to Bolivia, but this one is equally beautiful. And I want to see how underrated it is. Wow. This roads are so tiny. It’s kind of dangerous because like people have to drive right in the middle almost. And if there’s any oncoming car, we’re gonna have to break so hard. These roads, they are not made to fit like a full sized car. More like maybe even like to be honest, two scooters together would be tough too. Yeah, but sometimes just now I’ve seen the even like big trucks or big buses driving here. See, he has to go off the road. Who made these roads Normal road just now, straight road, they put super wide road, zigzaggy roads, super tiny, smaller, more challenging. So first up today we’re here at this super remote village restaurant and we’re eating some pretty local dishes. So for me I’m trying this dish called lomito de llama. So it’s my first time eating llama. It’s in this like very interesting creamy white sauce and there’s some potato on the side. This dish is baked inside the oven on top of potato inside. Probably meat. I’m not sure what kind of meat. I’m not sure really. And yes, I don’t know, I’m just pastel de cordero lamb. You’re gonna eat llama? Oh my God, no. They’re so cute. I thought that you, you it’s your favorite animals and you love them so much how you can do this. I always am an adventurous eater. So when I’m in that country usually I like to try the local authentic food. So llama looks a bit like this kind of just looks like beef steak. Yeah, it’s tasty. It’s super tender and very juicy as well. You want to try? It’s so tasty. A little bit. Little bit, Little bit. I feel sad for llama though. I like llama. So tasty. Oh, so yum. Yeah, so yum. It’s like a normal steak, but it’s super flavorful. Like the meat itself is very good taste. I feel so bad that I like it. Yours is actually tastier than mine. Really? Do you want to share? Can we finish our lunch? And honestly, just now I was eating and I found one piece of hair inside. So I thought like, maybe it’s mine because it was on top. But after that I keep eating and I found one piece of hair under potato. So I’m like, it’s definitely not mine. And after that my appetites disappeared. Oh yeah. I get a little bit disappointed of this place. Just now I looked at you and you look so sad at the restaurant. I know, because almost even didn’t eat. I just eat it and I see her and like total, we pay $37. Well, what to say? Nothing to say. Okay, let’s go. Now we’re going to check into our Airbnb. Hopefully it’s going to be good because this town is really small and local. So it’s more like a local village town. So all the houses that you’re saying it are pretty, Pretty interesting. Pretty authentic. On Airbnb I saw it was quite. It was quite like unique. Unique in a way. I don’t know what to expect. Yeah. But let’s go check in. So change of plans because our Airbnb only allows check in after 3:00 clock. And I know that the best time to go to this Rainbow mountain is between 3 to 5 o’. Clock. So we actually plan to go to the Rainbow Mountain first, which is going to be an hour and 27 minutes from here. It’s going to be quite a tough ride because a lot of rental companies, when you rent a car, especially in this region, they tell specifically, do not rent, drive. Try not to drive to this area. Because we’re not four wheel. But because we already been to the toughest road before, I think we’ll be okay if we drive super, super careful and slow. I’m so excited about this because everyone, almost everyone who went to this viewpoint in a review is like, wow, once in a lifetime experience. It’s like 100% worth it. Like so beautiful. Yeah. And luckily today, now it’s so sunny. So I hope we can see the 14 colors. Yeah, I cannot imagine 14 different colors of mountain. Nothing can be worse than just now meal horse riding. Wow. So cool. So far this road much better than yesterday. Yeah, the other day when we drove from Cafayate to Salta we actually went to the Cachi route which is super deserty, super sandy. So many damn rocks. It’s way worse than this one. So the cactus here looks so stunning, so fluffy Yeah. Doesn’t look dangerous at all. This Rainbow mountain that we’re going now, it’s 4761 meters above sea level. So that’s why now we almost there, we’re driving up and every second when we drive I feel like it’s a much harder to breathe because last time when we go to Peru, Rainbow mountain we drink attitude sickness pills but this time we didn’t drink nothing. So that’s why I don’t know how our body gonna react with all these tablets. Luckily because we are driving so slow because I’m driving very slow, I don’t want to get a puncture on my car. So we actually slowly adjusting to the altitude as well. But I want to say this mountain road is actually really pretty we because it’s like a road that is perched along the mountain. You can see like over there, there is another car that’s coming. So overall you can see a good landscape here as origin or where are you from? Ah, origin. Australia. 2,000, 1,000 per person. I’m translating. You’re just guessing. No, because she said origin so I think it’s like origin where she sounds. Like a H here. Yeah, I think oh your origin. I’m like okay, origin probably like where are you from? No. I remember when I first arrived in Latin America country when people say nombre I was like phone number. Phone number but no in Spanish is actually your name. Yeah. So I said Justin. Yeah. I always get confused asking oh your number. I’m like oh my number plus seven. As you guys might have noticed, one of the biggest challenge coming to South America this time is probably language barrier. And since we’ll be here for a while even later this year, we’re going to go to some remote places where translation and probably won’t work without Internet. That’s why it actually makes sense for us to learn a bit of day to day Spanish in order to communicate with locals better. And that’s until I discover the sponsor of today’s video Preply which is an online language learning platform with over 50 languages and over 50,000 tutors worldwide. You can scroll through a huge list of tutor and then watch the intro video and choose the one that best fit your style. And the best part is that preply focuses you on real life conversation with native speaker rather than just some random words from computer programs. For example, my Spanish teacher, now she’s from Colombia, which as you guys might know, is my favorite South American country. And I really like the fact that I get instant feedback or motivation or that one on one attention tailored to what I want to learn. For me, it’s huge because I get to practice travel phrases. I also get used to the local accent and feeling myself progress every lesson. Plus flexible scheduling that fits perfectly around our travels and filming. So yeah, if you’ve been wanting to learn a new language, whether it’s for traveling or for your new job or moving abroad, the best way to practice is with a real person. So that’s what I highly recommend Check out preply and I’ll leave the link in the description so you can book your first class with your ideal tutorial. Okay. Don’t look. Don’t look. Don’t look. Don’t look. Don’t look. Not looking. Not looking. After one hour of gravel drive, we are finally here. We’re here and the rainbow in front of us. We’re trying to. Don’t look. So we come closer and we can see. Alina actually asked me to close my eyes when I drive just now. I was like, I can’t I can’t. Look down, look down. You don’t look la. Well, I feel so, so dizzy here. Really? I felt okay this time. It’s like the Reverse because last time we went at Peru Rainbow mountain. Alina was doing so perfectly fine and this time I don’t feel nothing. Go closer, go closer. Wait, I didn’t lock car. I got. Wait, don’t look. You look too high. You look too high. Don’t look, don’t look. So hard to. Don’t look because it’s huge. Okay. Okay. Yeah. Okay. I don’t show you guys yet. I’m not going to show you guys again. One, two, three. Whoa. That’s insane. That’s way better than the one in Peru. I can say it’s so colorful. You can actually see each distinguish color. There is like red color, yellow color, maybe some Zion green, pink. I can’t count 14 though. But it’s very colorful and much more space. Not a lot of people. Yeah, we can see so clear. You know, when we’ve been in Peru, there was a lot of people. So like everyone is like staying trying to take photo on one spot. But here, everywhere you can take photo. Yeah. So beautiful. I Can see that people actually, you can even walk there. So the mountain sign here says we’re at 4350 meters. So a lot of people actually take coca leaves and, like, drink coca tea when they come up here as well. But we didn’t do nothing. Yeah. And I felt okay, actually. I think when lighting will go a little bit lower when it’s going to be sunset time, it will be more brighter. Now it’s a little bit blurry, but still so, so red. So pretty. We decided to come back to the car and wait for sunset time. And when we come back, I don’t know, I feel so, so dizzy. It feels so hard to breathe. I feel. I feel this. Oh, that’s crazy. Last time I didn’t feel when we go to. Rainbow Mountain, but yeah, I think we’re just going to chill here for maybe 1-2 hours, and then at sunset time, we’re going to. Yeah. Look at that again. Since we’re waiting, let’s see what. What local people cooking here. Hola. good morning, it’s a with cheese. Whoa. Looks so good. Queso tomato. You think you’re gonna love that. Okay, I want a queso tomato. This looks so good. Tomato, spicy. Queso tomato, tomato, picante. No picante. No picante. Okay. Uno queso tomato, queso tomato. Struggling. Espanol. Queso tomate, Spanish cheese, Tomato. How much? 3000. Just using bare hands to flip the tortillas. It’s like it should be so hot. No, she’s just like flipping with her hand. It’s actually not that hot, but it’s like nice and hot and warm. Hot I burn my tongue. Wow. This looks like something that would be so taste. Ah, it’s hot. Hot. Really hot. Really hot. One thing, though, just now she took money with hand. And then she touched Yeah I saw that maybe for Argentinian people is normal. I’m not used to. It’s okay. You’ve been to a lot of countries already. I’m sure your stomach is already has higher tolerance for this kind of bacteria. Because money is the most dirtiest thing in the world because everyone touching them. No washing. So that’s why. Yeah. I hope the heat burns bacteria. As my Indian friend once told me, in India, the earlier you get exposed to bacteria, the better your stomach will be. My friend I remember went to India was like, wait, he didn’t wash hand. And he was like. Everything doesn’t kill you, make you stronger. Exactly. So just now, as we said, we wanted to wait until sunset time and after go down There and see the beautiful colorful mountains. But we didn’t expect that. Usually, you know, sunset, everything become more pretty, more yellow, more colorful. But Rainbow mountains is the opposite. It’s become completely like wash color. Out of 14 colors you can see now only two. It’s a red and white and gray. And just now there the wind was just crazy, so windy, so cold. I mean way higher in the mountain. Also the way back when we walked up because we’re in high altitude. That’s why it was very steep and it really hard to breathe. Yeah, when we go back, I just, I was almost dying because I feel, I feel hard to breathe. I feel like I’m so dizzy. I almost close my eyes and I can just fall down like this. But yeah, because we didn’t drink tablets and I didn’t expect it’s going to affect me that much. Especially staying here already so many hours around four hours maybe because we was waiting for sunset time to see beautiful, colorful, 14 colors mountains. But it’s become even worse I think. Maybe because for me personally I knew we’re gonna come here. And the photos I looked online, they look a lot more saturated. It’s probably because the people who edit the photos, they probably increased the saturation all the way. So it kind of looks like 14 colors. But yeah, in reality it just kind of looks like different shades I guess fading slowly. Anyway, now I think we’re gonna go back to check into our apartment and hopefully the apartment will bring some good news. Hopefully something unique. It’s okay, don’t give up. Yes, tomorrow we’re gonna go to Salt Lake. Fingers crossed. Everything is gonna be look as good as the photos. Because I have so high hope for that one. What is this? Wait, it’s a. It’s a alpaca Llama. Llama. Wait, that looks a bit weird. This looks like reindeer. It’s like deer. It looks like deer. Oh, I actually read something online. It could be something completely different. It’s like a species between alpaca and llama. Really? Yeah. There’s a third species. Oh, it looks so pretty. It looks so cute. It’s like a mix of alpaca and reindeer. This make my day happy. Guys, we just now checked in in our Airbnb so I’ll give you room tour within one second. That’s it. And now we’re also going to eat our dinner for today. It’s avocado bread and cream cheese. Yeah, why sad meal? Avocado is tasty. Also just now we checked in in this Airbnb and The owner bring us this heater which is now in the room, super, super warm, Justin today gonna sleep here. I am gonna sleep right here. Yep. You might be wondering like why, why are you guys staying in so budget. So budget places is because there is not a lot of good accommodation options available in this city, which I better look for all the Airbnbs, but only this one. It’s somewhat worth the value, but you can see it’s very simple. Yeah. And also we booked this one because they said they have heating. So this was the main point because we don’t like to stay in the cold apartment. Feels really cold. This is the toilet. Shower space. I haven’t moved yet. Toilet. No. Pretty small. Yeah, something like that. It’s okay. Cozy. Yeah. I guess today we’re just gonna eat our dinner and go sleep because we have not much to do. And see you guys tomorrow morning we’re gonna go to another beautiful place, Salt Lake. Okay. Good night. One of the biggest problem when traveling is to get a good night of sleep. Especially because we are out of our comfort zone sleeping. Maybe the curtains are not complete blackout or maybe there’s noise outside, or maybe it just feels impossible to sleep properly and the last thing you want is waking up jelly and you have to drag yourself through the day of traveling. So that’s why for the past three years we’ve been using the Manta sleep mask, which is seriously the most comfortable sleep mask we’ve ever owned. Unlike those super thin sleep masks you can get at supermarket. These ones here are 100% blacked out, so it kind of makes you feel like you’re in a dark bedroom no matter where you go. These cushions here, they gently surround your eyes so there’s no pressure at all. You can actually open your eyes inside and you can still see nothing. Both Alina and I use the Manta Pro sleep mask, which are perfect for side sleepers like us. And Alina also like to use her Manta sleep sound mask because there is built in headphones that plays her meditation or lo fi music when she wants to go for an afternoon nap. I can confidently say these are the best sleep masks we’ve ever used in the last three years of traveling. So if you want to get a good night of sleep when you travel, you can go to the link in Description and get 10% off using the code Justinalina at checkout. Good morning to second day here in the small village of Tilcara. So yesterday when we arrived, I think it’s because we’re in A high altitude region in general. So when I arrived I had very severe headache and immediately pretty much we went to sleep. And last night it was so cold inside. It was so cold inside. So I couldn’t sleep at all. Almost wake up every five minutes. Today we’ve got some exciting things to do which is to go to see the Salina Grandes. I think it’s Grande Salina Alina. Yes, the famous salt flat here. Which is something that I’m super excited to go to ever since I even planned this trip. So today we’re finally happening. I think we can drive directly to the salt flat. Really? Yeah. And we can drive around. So hopefully we arrive early and there are not a lot of people around. My baby every day look prettier and prettier. Thank you. Yes. Why so pretty? Because I love you every day more and more. Yes. We’ve been dating for three years now and every day I keep telling Alina how much I love her. Yes. Every day I love stronger and stronger. Yes. So pretty here. See. Oh, morning. It’s very pretty. You can see this is pretty much a town of Tilcara. It is very sandy brown. It’s like red, that red earthy tone. And it’s surrounded by all these mountain ridges. Very dry land in general. It’s very interesting because yesterday we arrived in the afternoon. It always feels like a desert. It’s like burning hot everywhere. So dry. But today in the morning it felt very cool. That’s why the climate here can change. Right? Just like this after sunset. Honestly guys, I’m actually low key. A little bit worried about the car last night when we arrived. Just because when we arrived there were a few drunks just like hanging out outside of our apartment and they were very loud. And after that the owner called police and then it kind of kicked them out. So I was worried they went retaliate on our car and stuff. So looks like everything’s okay though. Luckily, especially yesterday we left everything in our car. Like our luggages. Yeah. We only take all the most expensive things to the apartment directly because you can see we’ve got to climb up. Those stairs and with luggage is going to be super heavy. Yep. This car for me is like home sweet home. But honestly, I think compared to normal car, road trip and camper van trip, I still miss campervan trips a lot in Australia. Me too. Just because it’s like your home is always with you. It’s not like you got to get off the car and carry all your luggages to the apartment. But actually you’re moving with your apartment. You Know you just park down anywhere and you just sleep for the night, which is so relaxing. Yes. Let’s put in front. Yeah, yeah. Yeah. We put everything in the boot yesterday just because we don’t want to have any bags visible from the back seats. Yeah. Otherwise imagine if people see something they yum yum. And they broken window too. Yeah. You never know how people behave when they’re drunk, you know? You want to drive today? Me? Yeah. Yes. Just kidding. Alina doesn’t have a license. Okay. I hope today gonna be lucky day because yesterday was. Can’t be better. So hope today our lucky day and we can see the beautiful salt lake. Yes. Wow. We’re driving now. And as usual in the morning in Argentina there is a police checking. The last few times they was like. Ah, just go, go, go now learn my lesson. You just gotta turn on your low light in the middle of the day and you’ll be fine. They just let you pass usually. And in a desert no one cares about speed limit. Oh, they’re checking, they’re checking for alcohol. Oh, I wanna do that. Oh, that’s cool. Who drinks alcohol in the morning though? Hola. Wow, so cool. Wow, so cool. This is probably like second time my life I’ve done this like alcohol test. I first time seeing how is it in real life I always see only the movie. It’s interesting. Australia you actually do bite on the tube and then like this and then here it’s like you for far away. I don’t think. I think he need to be closer. I just didn’t understand what he said. It’s so funny, the first reaction I was like ah. What? Really? Yeah, I did. He gave it to me and was. Like ah, you don’t know that you need to. I don’t know what I was supposed to do. He was like. But anyway, cool because last few days we talk about like when, when they’re going to check if you’re drinking alcohol even little bit. Yeah. Because usually they don’t check in the first time. Yeah. Argentina has absolutely zero alcohol tolerance. So. Yeah. Yeah. Even if you’ve got like some hangover from last night maybe in your system still, maybe this will give a red flag. Wow. Guys, on our way to the salt lake we actually came across the more famous colored seven colored mountains here in the town called Purmamarca. And honestly I feel like this mountain is actually pretty than the one we saw yesterday because that’s when you can actually see seven different colors and they’re more different in contrast, you know. It’s not like yesterday. Everything, it kind of just blends in one. I think it’s different lighting. I think it’s. It’s. It’s because yesterday we wait for wrong time. You actually need to go to these mountains exactly the time when sun is so harsh. Maybe. Yeah. Then mountain looks much better. Yeah. Let’s see. This looks so pretty. I think this is actually more worth it. But maybe against lighting. This is actually more popular. Yeah. There’s the more popular one. Most tourists actually would just come to this one and leave. Jujuy Hui Hui. And then in this episode, I’ll probably butcher a lot of Spanish words again. Yeah, I think so. We’re gonna get a lot of haters saying like you pronounce it wrong. I’m gonna skip because you pronounce it wrong. But now we’re gonna skip this rainbow mountains because we seen yesterday already. And this one we’ve seen just now through our window. So we’re gonna directly go to the salt lake. After around two hours of drive, we finally made it to the famous Salina Grandes. I don’t know if these are already Salt. It’s salt. Yeah. Yeah. Everything white is salt. It reminds me to like a snow town when he has some figures from salt. But it reminds me to like figures from ice. It’s a salt cactus and salt alpaca. I want to try salty. Of course it’s salty. It’s made of salt. Not gonna lie, guys. Low key. I feel a bit disappointed because in the photos it looks so different to here. But here it kind of just looks like a construction site. There has to be a way to drive to the salt flat in the middle. Yeah. There’s no way this is it. Because if I just drove two hours to see some construction looking thing and some statue, I’m gonna be so disappointed. I thought it’s gonna be like Bolivia level that good. But it’s more underrated. Let’s see. Let’s see. Don’t give up yet. I think we still not there yet. This is just like a stop point where they’re selling some accessories. Some like a salt and figure from salt. Let’s find a way. It looks very different. That’s why we came here. Exactly. We drove so So just now we drive a little bit more. We found another stop point and we bought tickets. It cost 24,000 for two people for car. And now we can go inside Salt Lake this guy keep blocking us way why do we need to wait for him? Maybe you’re not allowed to go Inside alone. Maybe someone who will drive you there. It’s okay. As long as I can fly my drone, I’m fine. So far, everything inside this salt lake looks like it’s snow and people just having fun with snow. What are we waiting for? There’s not one more car. Do we need to go as a group? And we cannot go alone. No, no, no. Okay. What? I told him I want to fly drone, so I want to make sure my car is alone. And he said okay. So like, you cannot go alone in a salt flat. Maybe because they don’t want you to like, explore places that are not as safe. Maybe to explain why we’re so disappointed is because usually we like before we travel in Australia. Right? In Australia have so beautiful places. For example, pink lake. Or just. Just like this. Like kind of the same places. So in Australia, you always allowed to go first alone, second, without even payment. And third, there is not a lot of people. I understand. For payment. I understand. Like there’s a lot of people, but I don’t understand why we need to wait for someone else. Why we can’t to take our time to enjoy this place. Yeah. Now it feels like maybe they have a specific time schedule, like how long you could spend time inside. And after that you need to leave. It looks like you’re paying for the car arriving to the spot where it’s less people. And also you walk by yourself. Doesn’t really look like you can drive anywhere. Why, I need to pay for me driving, then I can just walk here. Can we take this car and drive here and then fly the drone? Yay. They allowed us to fly inside alone. We just talked to this guy. He’s like, okay, okay. Just like quickly. Not far away, like in this road. Don’t go nowhere. Now we’re flying and I’m driving. We convinced him. And driving 18 km per hour so then we can catch more shots in this road. Wow, guys, I just did first reverse in my life. Usually I drive motorcycle, motorbike, More scooter. Scooter. Scooter. Yeah. But now I’m driving car professional. 17 kilometer per hour. Yeah. It’ll be nice if they oi. It would be nice if they allowed us to drive wherever we want because it’s a so big salt lake and so many spaces. Yeah. It’ll be nice if we could drive actually inside. But I guess these are protected because they want to preserve how it looks like. So you can’t just drive wherever you want to go, which is fair enough, I guess. Well, so satisfied. Finally. I Feel like we came here, it’s worth it just because just now we were driving alone there and we just had the drone following us. And it is like one of the dream shots I’ve always wanted as full time travelers. You know, I think from three years ago I really want to go to Bolivia to capture like salt flat drone shots. And I finally did it, so it’s so worth it, I feel like. And we came back to this spot where is our guide. And see, he’s like a mini salt. Swimming pools. Do you remember in Turkey originally we’re gonna go to Pamukkale. Yeah. And it’s gonna look like this, right? It’s like salt water. Can you take this? Yeah. I want to touch it. Oh, better baby, baby, don’t. Better don’t touch. You never know what. What chemical is inside. Really. You can’t just randomly touch something like this. What if it’s super acidic? but it is just salt. Ah yeah. Justin, always panic. Panic man. You better ask the guide first. I just want to say we’re almost like we’re in a winterland because everything is so white. Almost like a snow covered on this like a blanket here. Yeah. It feels so. Feels like you want to jump into the snow. But this salt is actually so hard. And when I step on this in between, it’s like it’s cracking. So the salt is cracking. Real salt. So light. See the salt flats, they’re all so dried up that it formed these kind of irregular shapes. Many of them almost looks like a hexagon. But you can see it’s just our group right there and us. Yeah. And this guide here actually taking photo. Professional photo for these people. Maybe we should ask him too because he making like some funny photo. Yeah, I want to take. I want to take one with a dinosaur. I thought a lot of people like taking these kind of photos in Bolivia. So I wanna have some similar. see his position when he taking photo. Professional photos. See? Let’s see how professional he gonna take photo for us. Professional. It’s like cool. Okay. I’ve never seen a photographer that pro before. He’s literally like bending his whole body. Like, is the water aqua? Yeah. Can touch. Okay. Oh, he drink. Drink. Salty. Yeah, so salty. But I want to try. I want to try. I want to try. Try just a little bit. No, don’t try this water. Don’t try. No, he tried trying himself. Yum. Only when a guide says safe, then we can. Can I, Can I? I like boo. And he phew. Okay, okay. When I do this, you do this. Okay. One, two, Three. Go. Wow. Amazing, amazing, amazing. Thank you so much. So just now, this guy, he take for a super professional photo. So funny. And after that, we went to another place. Where is a beautiful lake? It’s blue color. And I didn’t notice that it’s actually Salt lake. So inside it’s a water. Yeah. That’s why they not allowed us to run everywhere, because maybe they worry that. we will fall down into the lake or something. Yeah. I feel like these salt could actually be very fragile at some point. So that’s why they recommend not to go too far. Yeah. But I think overall, the experience. Okay. At the start, I want to be honest, like, you know, when we first went to the Construction Point, I was a little bit disappointed. I was like, what? That’s it turns out that it’s the wrong place. So I went to another place and we drove here. And I really like the experience that he let us drive on our own for a while, which is very nice. The freedom. And we shot everything we wanted. And after he took photos. So crazy, so crazy photos. I love his creativity. You know, the dinosaur, like, I like that. Thanks for watching, guys, and really appreciate for those of you who have sticked around until this moment. Spoiler alert. In next episode, we actually go into somewhere even more epic. So stay tuned and we’ll see you in the next one.

  1. That breathalyzer is a preriminal one, if it finds traces of alcohol they do another one that tells the quantity (the one u probably know)

  2. How bad to find a hair like that! It happened to me once in Cordoba, in a city near where I live, we ordered a pizza and a hair appeared, my wife stopped eating, I continued eating and another one appeared, I started to check and found another one, 3 hairs in a pizza, we left almost the entire pizza uneaten, something like that had never happened to me and it was not a restaurant in an isolated town, it was located in the center of the city, luckily it closed soon after and then they changed owners, anyway I never went back to that place

  4. Hope you guys get the chance to see the "Ruta de los 7 Lagos" in Villa La Angostura, southern Argentina (close to Bariloche and the Perito Moreno Glacier, one of the 7 natural wonders of the world along with Iguazú Falls). I know time is limited, but you were also very close to "El Valle de la Luna" in San Juan Province… As an anthropologist, it’s my dream to go there and observe its geology and cultural remains. Please try to get a guide when you go to places like el salar to help locals with turism who are fighting against the explotation of the litio by multinational companies. Anyways thanks for the video! 🙂

  5. After the headaches, dust roads and fees- was jujuy's 14-color mountain + Salinas Grandes truly worth it, or is Bolivia's Uyuni the smarter bet?

  6. "She complained about the tortilla lady not wearing gloves, worried about bacteria… and then she licked a sculpture." "They had complaints about absolutely everything."

  7. Remember that you are in a very continetal climate, very dry and without clouds. In the night the radiation of the heated soil will disperse very fast and the nights will be very cold, while even in winter during the day the temperature will rise. You may have 20 degress Celsius between sunrise and midday.

  8. Sean un poco mas optimistas y agradecidos todos los lugares que pueden conocer, hay gente que jamás tendrá esas oportunidades, sobra la negatividad viviendo esas experiencias

  9. looks like that heater couldn't keep up with the temp drop. did you wear all your woolens to bed? it's really hard to sleep when it's too cold

  10. No touching money and then touching food is NOT fucking normal here. Just so you know. Unfortunately in more remote/poorer places like where you were they might not pay attention to the norm but in better known, less remote places I can assure you that is NOT normal. And you should have complained about the hairs, they would have bought you new food.

  11. In that province, there was a painting by Michelangelo; the province of Salta stole it. Germans who escaped at the end of WWII also lived there. I know this because a friend from Argentina showed me photos and magazines from that time. There, in that province (Jujuy), a pterodactyl lived in a cave until 1940, in a small town called Cochinoca. The peasants of the time killed it during those years by sealing the cave between the rocks. The marks remain there, his grandmother told my friend. His grandmother was born in 1933, at that time she was a child, and today she is 92 years old.

  12. If you find hair in your food, you complain, you ask for a refund. Period. Just like any other part of the world… it's totally fine to ask for it, and show the proof… as simple as that.
