[Music] Hey guys, we’re Flow Parks after dark. Hey, we are here at the Caribbean Beach Resort. Yes, CBR, we are here again. We’re here at night. Want to be able to take you guys in through and see this place in the evening. It is an entirely different experience when you come here at night. So, for those who don’t know, CBR is a moderate resort, Caribbean island themed, very probably the biggest resort Disney World has in the entire property. Um, it’s sprawled. So, each of the lands, each of the areas is named after an island chain, Martineique and Ruba and all those. And within each of those chains or each of those areas, a lot of h a lot of different units and buildings. So, we’re now here in the lobby. The lobby is obviously like most modern. You have a central lobby with the food court, gift and check-in. And then the back is where the pool area is. We’ll go there in a second. But then what surrounds the entire property are these buildings. Now CBR is so big. It has its own internal bus system. Plus and a minus to get anywhere. You got to pop a bus to get within the property. It does have buses that take you obviously to the park. And we’re here in lobby. Lobby is beautiful. Caribbean beast themed. Got the paddle fans in the ceiling there. It is just awesome. It has that real Caribbean colors with the blues and the the browns. That’s checkin right there. They do all the check-in obviously. And then here’s kind of just one of the seating areas. Benches. They have plugs down there on the bottom rail. So while you’re sitting waiting for you can plug in and charge your phone. Pretty nice. And then so that’s lobby when you come in to the left. If you go to the right now, we’re here a little later cuz we want to be able to see this space without a whole lot of people in it. Give you a much better feel for it without all the people bumping around. This is Calypso Trading Post. Calypso Trading Post. We just did a video on it, so look that up. Um, but that’s their merchandise shop. It’s really a nice little shop. Um, and then in here is their food court. um Caribbean themed food. It has a lot of the mangoes and the the hot and sweet kind of feel to it. So, you order here and then you pick up and here’s where you pick up your specialty coffees, which you know we like so much. And then they have pickup there. So, you order and that’s where you pick up. Now, here’s all the seating. And the thing we’ve said before, we’ll say again, for property this size, the seating is quote unquote limited. You know what? Let’s go out the front. So, we’re coming back into the lobby. I love the use of these white curtains that they have draping down and hooked under to really break up the open spaces. This is the little stuff that Disney does that really just blows my mind. So, we’re going to go out back at Christmas time. They have a tree there. It’s just beautiful. Okay, so come out back and that’s what you’re welcome. Boom. You come out to a fountain. Whites underneath of it. So it has that shimmer going. It’s fantastic. Look, let me show you this real quick. This is the map. So you’re here. Okay, that’s where you are in the red. And then there’s Martineique and there’s Aruba. There’s Jamaica, Trinidad, and Barbados. Disney Riviera Resort is up here. Now, that’s a deluxe resort that they built on the property. There used to be two more Caribbean Beach Island chains over there. They ripped them down and put the deluxe rivier over there. So, for those who don’t know a little Florida parks after dark trivia, if you come on CBR, you can drive your car around. There’s a circle internal loop that can get you over Riviera. So, there’s a shimmering fountain and then that’s where we just were for the dining. And that, my friends, that’s the Riviera. That’s how close it is. It’s right across here. Now, what is across that is Hourglass Lake. So, it’s this beautiful body of water and a beautiful lighthouse there. But that’s there. So, it’s this huge, it’s called Hourglass Lake. In the distance, you see that blue shimmer behind. Let me get out light here. That blue little light right there next. So, if you can see the Epico ball like that, think what is during fireworks. It’s amazing. So, they have all these little walkways. It’s over the water. It’s It’s done really, really, really well. So, we’re coming around now. You may be able to see, you may not. Over there is a Skyliner. It’s dark out. I may see them. They’re stopped now because it’s past time 11:00. They shut the Skylliner down. So, it’s frozen right now in space. But that’s a major Skyliner hub. And then this is just ongoing walkway that goes down and through. Now here they have one higherend restaurant. It’s called Sebastian’s Beastro. Obviously a homage to Little Mermaid. And that’s Sebastian’s. And that’s the menu. And what you’ll see with Sebastian’s is actually the Caribbean themed high-end. And they add some coconut flavors and some mango flavors and some of the the the spices and herbs that really do it. It’s a great thing. But that’s your table seen service there. And as we come all the way around then here is Banana Cabanas. Now it’s not open now, but this is their pool bar. This is a fantastic pool bar. You’ll see the steel drums. There’s lights above it. You come in here, you got the This is Banana Cavan. Banana Cavan is obviously that pool bar. It’s great how they have travel theme, but that piggybacks right against this beautiful pool area. Now, this honestly is probably I would say one of the top three pictures pool areas of Disney. how they use the tan and the lights of the pool with the blue makes a pool look indigo blue lit up neon almost against the tans and the browns of the the and the black of the cannons. It’s definitely Caribbean Pirates of the Caribbean themed energy here. Love it. It’s fantastic. Um so that is by far top three pools in all of Walt Disney World. They have a great kids splash park. We’ll see that in a second. But this is we made a big circle. We came back around the fountain over there. Shimmering fountain right over there. We came through that door. And then here is the little guy’s splash park. I want to show you this real quick. So it the splash park theme is a pirate ship that wrecked and it broke apart. And the theming here is great. So that big barrel at the top is actually a dumping bucket. Um the shipwreck is broken. They have everything going on. They even have that crow at the top there. The crow’s nest. Get it? Pirate flag. And it’s a got two slides and a lot of sprayers. It is really just a very neat neat thing. Now obviously that’s top five kids splash park. Conversation for a later time about splash parks in Disney World. They do an outstanding job as they do with everything. So this is the main lobby, pool area, the restaurants, a view of kind of the water, the fact that Skyliners here. So what’s great about this property is they do have buses to the parks all as well as the Skyliners to Epcot and the Hollywood Studios, which make it a very convenient park uh place. It is moderate, but the prices you can get here are really very reasonable because there just so many rooms here. Um, so for floor parks after dark, this is George and listen, this for us is a no-brainer winner winner chicken dinner. Time to come check this out.
