This hotel was originally operated by Mystays Hotel Group Co., Ltd., but changed its name to Iconia Hospitality Co., Ltd. in July 2025. Nabe Travel is in the same group as Shinshu Tateshina Grand Hotel Takinoyu. I’m looking forward to it! Let’s take a look together. So what kind of room is it? The door opens. The room looks like this . The bathroom and the room are separate. So what is the main room like? It has a cute, modern Japanese design. From the outside, I thought the room might be a little old, but it has been renovated and is very cute. This time, I’m in a room on the top floor, the 9th floor. What’s the view from there like? The view is like this. Yes, it’s a little higher up in Kusatsu Onsen. It’s nice weather. This is what it looks like from the window. I think the blue sliding doors are the color of the Yubatake. This blue, a little emerald green, a little whitish. The bed is a double size, I think. It’s a twin room. The bathroom is stylish, isn’t it? There’s a cute T-shirt set and underneath it is a storage space with nothing in particular. There’s a container here for the water server, and I saw the water server when I came to the room from the elevator earlier, so you can fill it up as much as you want with the water server. There’s also a T-shirt set and some snacks , and a refrigerator. There’s plenty of space. There are bath towels and washcloths in the room . They said there aren’t any towels at the hot spring, so you’ll need to bring your own. I booked this time through Rakuten Travel, and it’s a deluxe Japanese-style twin room (10 tatami mats) with a Japanese-Western buffet plan including one night’s stay and two meals. Let’s go to the Yubatake This was a very unexpected surprise! On our way to the Yubatake, we discovered the delicious ramen shop Aoba. Here, you can enjoy beautifully crafted ramen made with carefully selected high-quality ingredients. After exploring the Yubatake, we were all sweaty, so we decided to head back to the hotel and take a dip in the hot springs. The hotel’s hot springs have a large public bath and an open-air cypress rock bath, and you can enjoy three of the six main hot springs in Kusatsu Onsen: Sainokawara Spring, Yubatake Spring, and Bandaiko Spring . This hotel has the East Wing and rock bath. In addition, you can also enjoy the hot springs of two sister hotels, the Daito Wing and Kusatsu Onsen Hotel Resort. What a luxurious bath! Now, let’s go see what the dinner buffet at the Kusatsu Bold Kitchen restaurant is like. I’m getting hungry! Here, you can enjoy a Japanese and Western buffet featuring an abundance of Gunma specialties and local cuisine. The chefs will prepare piping hot maitake mushroom tempura right in front of you, as well as Gunma’s specialty Joshu beef sukiyaki. There are many dishes that make use of Gunma Prefecture’s cuisine, such as stews and himokawa udon noodles. There is a lineup that is also pleasing to the eye, such as Sankai Katte-don, where you can eat mountain and sea delicacies as you like. There were also some slightly unusual main dishes such as curry, himokawa udon noodles, and corn butter rice. The desserts and fruits were also colorful and looked very delicious. I took a lot. The menu had both meat and fish, and both were delicious. The sashimi was also colorful and deliciously seasoned. I think it is very cost-effective to be able to eat the contents of this buffet at this price. After dinner, there was a midnight snack, and we could enjoy Hell Tour Night Crying Dandan noodles . The flavors change every month: red, black, and white. The weather is terrible in the morning, but I’m hungry, so let’s go for the breakfast buffet. Breakfast is a breakfast buffet in the same restaurant as dinner, and there are a variety of healthy dishes, mainly Japanese cuisine. Recommended breakfasts include kirikomi, steamed barley pork and cabbage, konjac sashimi, and oyaki. It’s grilled rice balls with oyako stew. There were also green tea soba noodles and cold soup. When your stomach is tired or you’re feeling summer fatigue, it’s great to be able to wash down some light rice .
