Exploring Gyeongju, Korea 🇰🇷 Hanok Stay, Bulguksa Temple | No Talking Travel Vlog

From the outside it looks traditional,
but inside it has a modern twist. The house was clean, cozy, and comfortable.
The owners were kind and responsive. It’s close to Hwangnidan-gil Street,
where there are many restaurants and cafes. Now we head to Gyeongju Soban
to try bulgogi jeongol. Look at all these side dishes!
The best part is you can ask for refills on most of them. Since we’re full, let’s go to Bulguksa Temple. The temple was first built in year 500s to wish for peace and prosperity for all. It was designated a UNESCO World Heritage site in 1995. The peaceful grounds are surrounded by history and beautiful stonework. Colorful lanterns with people’s wishes hang from the ceiling. Next, we stopped at Cafe Dasi, Bom.
It has a small garden and cozy interior. The desserts and coffee were delicious – a lovely place to rest before continuing our trip. Now we make our way to Seokguram Grotto. Near the parking lot there’s a large metal bell you can ring,
and the money goes to charity. It’s a short climb up to the grotto. Filming inside isn’t allowed,
but it is famous for the stone Buddha, facing the East Sea. The view from the top is beautiful. Back in town, we explored Gyochon Village. The village is full of hanok houses, shops, and cultural activities.
It’s a peaceful place to walk and take in the atmosphere. Our first stop was Gyochon Garam, a dessert cafe. We enjoyed sweet treats here,
and watched people experiencing how to make traditional tteok. Then we visited the Choi Clan House,
a preserved hanok that shows how they lived for generations. Finally, we ended our day at Woljeonggyo Bridge. The bridge was rebuilt in 2018,
restoring the design from Korea’s Silla dynasty. At sunset, the bridge lit up beautifully —
the perfect way to finish our day in Gyeongju.

Step back in time with a peaceful Gyeongju travel vlog. No talking, just calm music and cinematic scenes from Korea’s ancient capital. 🇰🇷✨
