Hey guys, welcome in. Let’s go explore the new Davy Crockett cabins that have been renovated quite recently in 2025 and they now have a junior woodchuck teaming which is kind of amazing. Huge Donald fan. So, this is going to be my heaven. Um, straight away when you walk in, you can already see there’s some nice little team. Oh, Donald left his hat. Some nice little theming here with some of the pictures of the entire family. Donald with his nephews. Webbby is on here as well. Daisy is on here sus back before Donald gets mad at me. Um but then you’re just looking at the entire living room, right? There’s lots of little um things about Junior Woodchucks. We see the forest of Duckberg. Really nice poster over there. Um you also see that throughout the entire loop that we’re at. We’re at the snail snail patrol loop. Um so also there they talk about Duckberg. So we have the poster. We have a junior woodchuck lamp. Amazing. Um, that is something that we already saw at Tokyo Disney where they have the cam woodchuck. They already had stuff like that. It’s amazing to see. If you go a little bit to the right, we also see like other things. The photo camera that they use to take pictures that we can see all throughout the cabin. We see a family picture. We see the hat going down on the couch. I love these things. Rule number 43. If a bear you spy, string you food up high. Rule number one, always expect the unexpected. little knots, the um junior wood chocks. Really nice new couch. This used to be, I think, one of the couches that you could pull out and also make like I think bed number six. Um but yeah, nice view. Windows open up really nicely now. They can also open up really tall, which is super super nice when it’s a little bit warmer and you want to get some fresh air. Nice new little curtains. Um on the table, we had some nice things when we came in. Uh, a little welcome pack. There’s also a nice card in there. I did bring some of my Donald Duck things, you know, a little cam woodchuck, a junior woodchuck. I even have the French junior woodchuck guide. Um, amazing to have now all these teamings here. Love it. Going into the kitchen. And I think that’s one of the things that was renovated completely or at least like the whole cabin is renovated. But when you look at this comparing it to the old cabins is amazing to see all of this. A lot of storage, a lot of drawers with all your utensils that you need. Everything is still here. Pans, utensils, some other things. It’s induction now. I think last time it was gas, so that’s great to see. Get your little toaster there. Um, more stuff here. Little carff. Some of the mugs. What else do we have? Some bowls, some glasses. Yeah. And then we also get into the other area with more glasses. Nice little microwave/ oven. I think is a grill. Um, we hardly ever use these things, so not really something that we look into. Still get your little dishwashing kit, so you don’t have to do everything yourself because there’s still a massive dishwasher. Good to see some extra storage there. Great. But also here now, we have a kettle, water cooker, and we have a lavato. Um, so you get your tea, your sugar, um, some Lavato capsules, and some milk. If you need any more of these things, you can always pick that up at the the store. And you will see little knots throughout the entire cabin here. Donald is doing the dishes. Not really happy. He’s a little bit grumpy, but you know, that’s what Donald does. Um, going into the bedroom. And this is also one of those things where I think from the last time seeing all these things. Oh, forgetting it almost. There’s a nice little AC now in the living room and in both bedrooms, which is great to have. They don’t work when you open the windows. Perfect for saving the environment, but yeah, if you want to use them, you can actually use them. They heat and they’re also cool. Great stuff. Walking into the bedroom again, more theming. Look at the pillow. Wor um junior woodshocks. A nice little sticker on the back with the entire family with Webbby, Daisy, and the bear. I don’t think the bear has a name, but that’s what it is. I’m surprised the pillow is still here. I’m really curious how long these pillows will still remain here. Now, the other thing, and I’m going to take you over to the right here, is we got some USB chargers. How amazing is this? Now, one USBA, two USBC’s, this is great. You no longer need actual chargers. So, also people coming from the UK, United States, you don’t need a converter anymore. You just plug it in. You already see the AC here. Great to have. And then for the people that would like to apply some makeup or they want to get ready in the morning, there’s a nice little vanity. um desk as well. Then even more theming. We got a nice little picture frame here with Webbby and Grandma Duck. Even Chip and Dillo on here. Great to see that. So, love this theming. Going into the bathroom. Going to be a little bit of a hollow sound. All this also really completely new. Love it. Great new little hair dryer. Um awesome to have. Still also an outlet if you need to use it for um your shaver or something else. Still a little heater to dry your towels. And then we have the shower which also looks amazing. All new. There’s a little bit opening here so some of the hot air can come out. But also there we can see the shower gel. Donald the shampoo daisy. How cute can you have it? Like let’s do a little closeup there. And you can see look at that. How cute that looks. just want to rip it off the wall and bring it back home. Also, here you have a window that opens. So, if you need to have everything cool down a little bit, perfect to have that. Now, going back through the living room. Oh, no, hold on. This one more area here. Nice little area where you can put all your luggage. Um, while we’re recording the video, we already put some luggage out because we want to move into the cabin as well. But, yeah, a lot of storage here. Nice little shelves, nice little drawers. There’s also safe here if you want to stay a little bit longer, you want to leave some of your valuables in there. And then I think one of the things that we see a lot of DVC resorts is that you’re now being able to put suitcases under the bed. So if you’re looking for more storage, just put the suitcase under the bed and it’s out of your way and you just use a nice little cabinet. Closing the door on you. Not kidding. Bringing you back through the living room. I have to say also like the little details like these lamps. Amazing, right? This really looks like you’re in Camp Woodchuck. I’m just too excited for that. But that’s what it is. I did bring a little game. I got a nice little game from my mother-in-law, Donald Duck, and Happy Camper. Fits perfectly with the theme here. So, that’s definitely something that we’re going to play somewhere during the weekend that we’re here. Moving into the the bedroom in the front, there are two uh other doors. We will first look at the door on the right. It’s a toilet. Nice little separate. Um let’s put the light on as well here. So, nice little separate toilet. Um, it’s just nice to have that instead of it being in one of the showers. Now, the thing that I did forget, and we’re going to back up a little bit here, is a massive fridge and a massive freezer. So, you can buy a lot of stuff at the store here. Um, like things for the fridge, but also things for in the freezer. So, if you are in a need of stuff and you want to bring either your own or go to a grocery store, you can always go here. Now going into the bedroom in the front also here we have an AC. Great. So kids or people that would sleep here can also sleep with nice cool air. A lot of other nods. Right here we can see um Guyra Gearloose and Grandma. Really nice to see that. Um on the right hand side we have the nephews Louie and Webbby. And then on the right here we also have Donald and Daisy again. So a lot of theming. I love it. really if the merchandise uh department is listening make all of this available in the store. Otherwise, I might just have to bring the entire cabinet home with me. Also, here you can then also see some of the chargers that we have. Again, USBA uh USBA above the outlet and two USBC’s. Um there’s some extra storage here. So, if people don’t want to have all the the clothing and then the master bedroom, some additional storage here also with some hangers. And then you now see two beds, right? There are two beds. There used to be three beds here, but we still have some additional bedding. Where would you use that? Well, the fifth bed actually sits underneath this bed. And now you would think, great, so we have three single beds. You can actually make a double bed out of that by moving this one up and putting it next to one of the other beds. So you don’t have to sleep on the ground if you’re a couple. If you have two couples sleeping here, they can actually still sleep together if they want to. And now, of course, they can’t get back in anymore, but that’s always the bloopers that we have. That’s fine. Um, going back into the hallway because we had a door in the other side. The other room has its own bathroom, but this room and all the switches keep on going off. This room also has one. So, also here you have a nice little shower, little um wash table, so people can get ready at the same time. Um, so yeah, it’s pretty good to have this. And now, of course, we’ve seen the inside, but also the outside has been completely renovated. Going a little bit outside, then we have a really cute door mat. Wipe your feet, paws, and claws because of all the animals that come in. And then we have the really nice outdoor seating area. All new chairs. Um, we even see most likely some lighting in the deck. So, we’re going to hopefully see that later today. So, nice little new chairs. You also have the nice little picnic table. I love it. You can see all the windows here. Also, the nice little shutters. It’s like a nice little nod. They don’t work, but it’s great to have them. And then the last thing that they also still have is the barbecue. So, great. So, this was a little tour of the new renovated Davy Crockett cabins. We’re at the Snail Patrol Loop. Um, super excited to actually stay here. It just was recently renovated. It’s recently available now since September. Um, yeah, and I can’t wait to experience everything. Junior Woodchuck. So, this is a quick video after the the cabin walk around. We stayed here now for two nights, about 3 days. Uh, so we kind of figured out what we do like and don’t like. Um, Christina, what do you like of the cabin? I like the overall space. Um, I think the best part is the living space, the kitchen and the dining table. Like, there’s enough space for everybody to sit and enjoy. Okay. Yeah, that’s I think that’s really nice, right? You can really sit here with six people. There’s quite a big table. We actually played a game last night. The entire table was a game. Uh, so that’s super nice. What I do like as well is of course the whole teaming, but you already noticed that when we did the little walk around. I do like that every single big room has its own air conditioning, but that is also again a negative point because Paris being Paris, they do some weird stuff with the AC here at the moment. You can only put it on heating. Um, and when it switches on by default, which happens when we open or close some windows, it will automatically go to 22 degrees uh Celsius, which is about what? 75 F, 76 F. So, it is kind of warm. Yeah, it’s kind of hot. So, that’s that’s a little bit of an issue. It’s warm. Like, yeah, for a false small space, it’s warm. And they do that in the other hotels as well. We had the same issue at Sequoa. We have the same issue at Newport. I don’t know why they do that. It’s just a little bit of a weird thing. Um, the rooms themselves are also nicely spaced out. I think for the second bedroom, it’s really nice that they finally got rid of the bed in the middle. Yeah, the three single beds. Yeah, used to be three single beds, which made the room really cramped. Now that the third bed is actually underneath one of the second or the first bed, you have room for yoga. You have room for yoga to play. So, for kids, it’s really nice. Yeah. So, that’s super nice. That’s super handy. And also, now like we quickly put it back under the bed because we still wanted to take some some photos. So, that’s really nice. You can have uh three people in uh the second bedroom, two people in the main bedroom, and then Christina looked at it, the the bench or couch, bed kind of. It can be also a bed. So, you can have six people sleep here. Uh there’s also six chairs at the dining table. There’s a little kids table or little seating area if you wanted. Yeah. So, that’s also nice for the kids to sit at. They can play their little thing. It’s like a little round table, but outside you have four outdoor seats and then you have the the picnic table which is also, I think, four or five people. So yes, you can have a nice family, but if you have six people, you invite some guests, it might be a bit cozy. It might be cozy. That also that cozy point also comes back in the toilet, which is super tiny. Um, if you want to do your business, make sure you undo your own business first outside of the toilet and then go into the toilet because there’s no room to wiggle around or to move your butt, so to speak. U, so that’s a little bit of an issue. Um, that’s the most cramped space of the Yeah. Yeah. Because the bathrooms both are quite big. Um, the second bathroom of course is a little bit smaller. The shower thing is also a little bit smaller, but the first one, yeah, the main room is huge. And it also has really great sto like nice storage. It’s not just Well, fortunately in France, you don’t have like usually the toilet with the bath shower, so it’s nice. It’s like clean and open. Yeah. Yeah. So, that’s good. And yeah, you have a lot of storage under the beds now. So, if you want to get rid of your suitcases, but there’s also really nice little um, how do you call it? like walk-in closet kind of cramped, but that doesn’t really matter. You’re not there for a long time. Yeah. I mean, if you plan it out, there’s a lot of little cabinets throughout the whole um place, even in the main living room. So, if you plan it out well, um Oh, the other positive that’s a huge refrigerator and freezer. Oh, yes. That was one of the other things on my list. Yes. You have a huge refrigerator, huge freezer. You of course have the store at the reception building, um which is great to have. Alamo trading. Alamo trading. Yeah, I think it’s called. So, you can bring some stuff in. You can bring your own stuff in, which we did. We brought some water, some some snacks. So, put those in the fridge. Um, I mean, the other things that are really nice that have been upgraded are all the outlets. You have outlets now and USBC and USBA chargers. You might hear them whistle from time to time, but that’s just what happens with that technology, unfortunately. But, that’s great to have. So, you can just plug in everything as a um an American or British family coming in. You don’t need to fiddle around with converters, which is super nice. Um, there’s a lot of hooks left and right. some hooks in the main living room. You have some in the bedroom and the bathroom. Um, so it’s good. You can hang up some stuff. Yeah, I would say there should be a few more hooks in the main room. There’s that empty there’s a wall and just right back here, which I think it’s behind the TV. And I would say they should put a few more hooks because I think that would just be like just make it perfect at that point. And I think they need to have a little um shoe rack area because of course you come in, there’s a nice little doormat that asks you to wipe your feet, paws, and claws. have really nice steam theming, but then having a little shoe rack or something to hang your shoes on would really be good because yeah, of course you are in the nature. You get right at the table too, right when you enter. So yeah, so there’s a lot of crap you can bring in, so it’s nice to just keep it at the front. Um yeah, I think we’re kind of kind of through all the things, right? I mean, the lights are really good. They look good. Um lighting is very good here. The only thing that’s really funny the last couple of days, of course, we’re going into autumn. Um we’re under a lot of trees, so there’s a lot of stuff falling from the trees on the roof. Um, so we have a little bit of a how you say that additional background noise here from I guess the chipmunks. Chip and are here running around. But that’s been a little bit interesting. During the day, not so much an issue, but at night when you’re kind of half asleep or you just woke up to go to the restroom, it kind of freaks you out when you all sudden hear all the noises. It’s a lot loud cuz it’s a metal. Yeah. Type roof and you just hear clang clang clang clang. Exactly. So yeah. I mean, I think it’s it’s all great. We haven’t done the pool, but we’ve done the pool before. We did do the restaurant. Um, which is also always great. Like it’s a buffet style restaurant, not too expensive. Simple and good, really nice food. It can get really cramped. We were at a a really busy moment. Uh, you have Alamo Traders, the store, which is open until I think 10:45 or something. You have the saloon, which is open until 10:45, which we did try. We also tried the store. And of course, you have the reception building. And for the rest, you’re like really nicely secluded from everything. Arcade is also new as well. Arcade is also new. tennis. I think they renovated recently indoor. Yeah. And you have the mini mini golf. You have a little play area which is also woodchuck team now. Um yeah, I mean it’s really nice being in this area. We brought some friends one of the other times here and they also said like it doesn’t feel like you’re in a Disney resort. Um yes, you’re kind of slightly far away from the park which is a little bit of an issue for people that don’t have their own car, but it’s super quiet, super nice. There’s like no through traffic. Um yeah, it’s just really nice being here. We’ve had the windows open so you can hear all the nature of the birds, whatever animals are around and yeah, it’s really nice. That’s super nice. Yeah, I would definitely want to stay here longer. I was already telling Christina they should make this a DVC resort, Disney Vacation Club, so you can just rent it out a couple of times a year, but I wouldn’t mind staying here for for a month or something if need be for like if you want to be out for longer, you can easily go back to Paris to the park. Just spend your time here. We were lucky enough to have Wi-Fi in the cabin because we’re close to the reception building. Not quite sure if they’re going to add it everywhere. It was always a thing that the cabins close to um the reception area have Wi-Fi and then the ones further away do not. But I’m not quite sure what they’re going to do with the Renault. But yeah, definitely a big fan of what they’ve done here. Uh they did need the Renault. The cabins were kind of old. They were kind of musty as well. Um so yeah, super happy with this. Um definitely want to come back. Yeah, definitely. Awesome. See you guys later. Okay, cool.
In 2024, the Disneyland Paris resort started works to upgrade/renovate/renew the cabins at Disney Davy Crockett Ranch. As was announced on April 12, 2024, these cabins would get a Junior Woodchuck theme. We booked a cabin for the second week the new cabins were available.
