Vale A Pena Viajar De Cruzeiro Na Grécia? Nossa Experiência Real I Ep 232

Calimeira Miconozinho. [Laughter] Another day here in Greece. Yesterday, after leaving Turkey, from Istanbul, we crossed the Dardanelles. We sailed all night and today we arrived at 3 p.m. here in front of Mos. [Music] I think I’m trying to go to the dentist here in front. [Music] There, a 48-knot wind in my face, right? It’s not even moving properly. Look, here in front there’s a Costa Fabulosa that’s docked too, look. It’s at anchor. Here’s a Celebrity. We’ve never done a Celebrity. I wonder if it’s cool? Maybe it is. And look, I’m telling you, it’s cool because it stopped at the little port to take the boat to go ashore. Great. And there’s another one, a sailboat there, look, docked. Three masts. Did you want to see what the sea was like in Meltem? Look there, look. How beautiful. And here in Mykonos, there’s no port, right? I mean, there’s a tiny one here. So the ship has to be docked, anchored, and then we’ll go out on those little boats to go to town. Oh my God, how scary. Now, something I’m curious about. I was talking to Duda when we arrived: how does this captain anchor this boat here? I wonder how much chain he throws? And do the captains argue among themselves, saying, “Oh, you’re anchored too close to my boat,” like we are right next to the Celebrity here ? You know they argue like we do with the guys at anchor? Anyway, there are so many questions. How much does the ship’s anchor weigh? I’d like to talk to the captain someday to understand how it works, because the ship is like 100 million times bigger than the Joy. Everything must be very heavy, everything very big. He’s not anchored now because he’s right here on the shore to take the little boat there. So he didn’t anchor. The boat is completely stabilized, stopped, not moving at all. He must just be controlling the engine, right? Everyone got a number with a timetable. It’s very organized. Oh my God, but he’s going sideways, Gru. I don’t want to go on that thing, no. Oh my God. Can I wear a vest? Because it looks small, but he’s really big. He’s much bigger than Joy. No, but I’m not talking about size. I’m saying the thing was sideways there, look. I’m always amazed that here in Europe, the first week of September and the temperature must have already dropped what? About 10°C, right? It’s not cold today. It’s like this, look. It’s a little chilly here, but it’s already like this, fresh. I think in two weeks we’ll have to wear a jacket, right? Yeah, summer’s over, folks. It’s starting to get cold, look. It’s 3, 4 in the afternoon now. I’m almost going to get my shirt there. This wind is really cold. Especially when there’s Meltem, right? Meltem brings this cold, dry wind. Oh, [Music] this one is the worst of all because, look, it turns, look. It gets there, look. Look, this one gave up. It came here to anchor, which isn’t even that sheltered, but it’s here, look. Just drop anchor and hold on to the wig now. [Music] Girls, a tip for those going to the wind: come to Mykonos. So, you’re going to wear them, okay? Because the wind will ruin your hair. There are two ways to wear a scarf. The first is a gumball and the second is Rambo. Rambo. Rambo. Look, mine’s a gumball, look. A scarf like this. And Rambo’s is like this, look. Not that my hair will fly, right? Look, show the girls, Danielson. But now let’s go, I think we should combine the two, right? Did you like Duda’s butterfly handkerchief? Let’s make a bubble gum holder at Duda’s. [Music] Oh, the ride there was actually quite smooth, you survived, right? Yeah, I thought it would be worse. It was rocking a lot. Duda got a shower. The wind was pretty strong. It went uphill now, right? But everything worked out. Now let’s go sightseeing by bus. [Music] Hey, listen to this. We’re here on the bus to go by water, right? It’s faster to get to the town of Mykonos. And I was researching the Meltem here, because we didn’t even go on it this summer, but we saw it was nonstop, right? In 17 years, it was the windiest year. There were 61 days of Meltem with gusts like that, one of 50 knots. My God, historic, right? And now we’re catching I think the last 50 knots of the Meltem here in Greece. Now we’ve left the little boat that left the ship. Now we take a taxi that costs R$5.50 each person and take you to Mykonos Town. Now imagine if we had come here to Mykonos. I think we would have stayed two months stuck in that little anchorage. Good thing we didn’t come to this part here, because we would just complain in the videos. You wouldn’t have put up with us anymore. Look, this is the Mykonos marina. Everything is full of dead people, look. It’s very, very protected. This sailboat anchored here, look, on the port side, it just arrived in the strong wind, a French flag. We saw it arriving there on the ship. [Music] [Applause] [Music] The town is so crowded. There are three or four ships anchored right in front. You can’t even walk around the main ruins. There are a lot of really cool things for you to spend your hard-earned money on, like handbags, dresses, paintings. You have to leave a good bit of money here, but you want to take it all. It’s a shame we don’t have a house to fill with Mykonos junk, and the Kong doesn’t fit. You know, in 2019, I think it was one of the first trips Duda and I took together, we came here to Mykonos and Santorini. At the time, there was Meltem, we didn’t even know how to close the port, we couldn’t leave the city, the island. And I have a photo of this very little staircase here, look. But back then, it was whiter . I don’t think they painted it anymore, didn’t fix it. But right here, look. [Music] Up front, you can, if you want to take a saltwater bath. I don’t want to. [Music] [Music] Going back to the ship now. Wow, there’s a huge line. We took a taxi back from Mykonos because it’s so cold. Duda isn’t feeling very well. I told you that every time we come to the ship, we get sick, right? So he doesn’t know if it’s the air conditioning, if it’s an allergy because the season is changing, or if he caught a cold. Yeah. And then I still have a toothache, and I can’t find a dentist yet, because yesterday was Sunday, today I couldn’t find a dentist, and we’re all together and mixed up. Yeah, we’re going back to the ship and there’s a party tonight, but I don’t think it’s going to happen for us, no. We’re both shot here, right? That’s it. [Music] [Music] Good morning, Cretazinho. Today was the ship’s stop here in Crete. Look what we’re doing: going to the dentist to fix my tooth. I could be strolling around the city, but I’m here. Another dentist. We’ve already stopped somewhere here, there’s no appointment time. I think I’m trying to get to the dentist here in front. Crete is the largest island here in Greece. It’s impossible that I don’t have a dentist who can see me and fix my tooth. I’m here looking now, I’m researching more again. And that’s it. We were going to Knossos, which is a place where the legend of the Minotaur is, and it’s super crowded. So I’m going to get [Music] now. Imagine someone who’s terrified of needles. This is alternative tourism. So you don’t even have to. Instead of walking around the little shop, you go to a different dentist. Oh, cool. It’s not the tourism I wanted, but it started to hurt a lot. It’s really hot, and walking around with this throbbing tooth, damn. And then, you know what’s funny? It says “Dr. Alexandre” on Google. The moment you start going up to the doors, it’s all in Greek. You can’t understand what it is. Holy Google Translate helps us find things in other languages. Greek is impossible to understand. Look at this. What’s the doctor’s name? Dr. Alexandre. Here, it’s a fluke, right? We walked in the little door. I hope he’s a dentist. We didn’t even ask if he was, right? [Music] Sweating [Music] Everything went well. I finished, but I wanted to show you the staircase. When you walk in like that, it’s scary, right? Because you’re going to mess with your mouth. But everything went well. I actually had a really old filling, and it looks like my tooth was pushing it and ended up breaking. So there was a tiny hole there, but it was just enough to hurt. He fixed my tooth in half an hour. Yeah, thank goodness the dentist spoke English. Super nice. I didn’t need anesthesia and I’m here, completely fine. Now let’s go for a walk. What do we do after fixing the tooth that’s no longer bothering us? We’re going to eat. We came here right in the center of Heraklion. It’s a very typical Greek restaurant. I found it. The best thing is that they serve a little bit of every Greek food here, typical dishes, right? So, we ordered a dish that comes with a little bit of moussaka, a little bit of tzatziki, pantese. There’s a dish they make with rice, they put it inside peppers and tomatoes. Wow, it’s really good. They bring a little bit of everything here for us to eat. [Music] [Music] [Applause] [Music] Good morning, Santorinizinho. We arrived on the island, and to leave the ship, we have to take a small boat. It’s pretty calm today with the wind. Now we’re going to climb the mountain and go up to the town of Oia. We already sat here next to the captain, right? Just to check if everything’s okay. When it’s windy today, with the deep sea, everything’s fine, but I’m here keeping an eye on it. [Music] You know those famous staircases with the little donkeys in Santorini? Yes, many people still use them for transportation, but there are already some campaigns and laws in Greece limiting this, because the animals suffer a lot from the heat, from being overweight, and, of course, we can’t support that. So we thought: let’s go up on foot. And look, there was no shortage of hardships. Santorini promised a white dress, new flip-flops, and a blue sky, so Pinterest-y, but no one told me about the 600 steps and the hundreds of donkeys waiting for me along the way. [Music] Help. My God, I didn’t like that. I was run over by the donkeys. Oh, halfway up, the ground turned into a carpet of poop, my flip-flops slipping, me dripping sweat, and Duda just filming and laughing in my face. I don’t know. We were almost trampled by donkeys. Duda was almost run over. And I’m wearing flip-flops. My feet must be disgusting. Oh, and if that weren’t enough, I still have to climb I don’t know how many thousand steps. Don’t do that when you come to Santorini. Easier to take the cable car. [Music] Now, if that weren’t enough, the sun is out, right? It’s cracking, it’s not even 10 a.m. and we’re not even halfway there. Oh, oh. I think this was the coolest ride and one of the scariest. The animal kicks, steps on your foot, or bites you. Oh, I can’t stop laughing. Funny. Millions of others, people screaming, people desperate. Then came that movie scene: a 60-year-old woman, on her birthday, clung to me because the donkeys were passing on both sides at the same time. Her daughter yelled, “Mom, come quickly!” And the two of us leaned against the wall, laughing and screaming with no way out. The aunt who was next to me, I don’t even know who she is. Hey, those donkeys are so scary. Poor thing, they’re totally fine there, look. They haven’t run over anyone yet. It’s great. Near the end, more donkeys blocked the stairs. The solution was to climb the wall to survive. Three women laughing, screaming, and trying to save their new flip-flops. At the top, she turns to me and says, “Look, that was the worst birthday of my life.” She was pissed off, so angry. I just thought, “Wow, that was the best ordeal of my trip,” because in the end, it’s those moments that become history. There, we reached the top. My God, it took forever. So hot. [Music] Look, Santorini is difficult to climb those hills among the little houses, but it’s such a beautiful place. I was asking Duda, right, which one he liked best. We’ve been to Santorini and Mykonos on a single trip, so we were able to see the difference quite clearly. We came to the conclusion that we like Mykonos more because it’s more natural, I think. Mykonos, like, beaches have lots of beach clubs. The island is very beautiful and it’s bigger, I think, than Santorini. Is it bigger than Santorini or Mykonos? In my mind, it is. And Santorini is more about landscapes like this, where you stand up on the mountain, look at the sea, the ships. Did you know that there’s a volcano behind there? It’s a whole volcanic island here, Santorini. So that’s it: you stay here in the little white houses, take pictures, eat in a beautiful restaurant. Oh, but both are really cool. Santorini is more romantic, so if you want to come with a sweetheart in your life, you know? If you’ve been to Santorini or Mykonos, tell us what you thought, which one you liked best. My heart belongs to Mykonos. Duda’s too. Another interesting thing here in Santorini is that sometimes there are small seismic shocks, earthquakes. And then this year, right at the beginning of the summer season, there was a bit of a strong one, and the bank there started to collapse, like we say down south. And you can really see it. The last time I came, I hadn’t even noticed it, but you can see the mountain there , where they’re kind of layering it to make sure it doesn’t all fall down, right? But it’s a shame, because soon, in a few years, right, millions of years, Santorini probably won’t be as big as it is today. You can already see that there are several landslides there. [Music] [Music] And today, at the end of the day here in Santorini, they’re having a sunset party. And since it’s considered one of the most beautiful sunsets in the world, we’ll see it from the ship. Did you see that Duda is in the Santorini color palette? [Music] Calimeira, thank you. Good morning, Athens. We’re back to our ship’s starting and ending points. We visited Istanbul, Turkey, our first time in Turkey on this trip. We went to several Greek islands. I think it was one of the coolest cruises to date, right, in terms of destinations. Yes, I think the itinerary itself, without a doubt, was one of the coolest. It flew by, and we blinked and said, “I can’t believe it, it’s almost over.” We always get off the ship, usually saying, “Wow, I’m tired already, I could go ashore, I’m done.” And we would stay on this one a little longer, right? Yeah. Good thing we’re going to the next ship now, which will be another eight days, right? We’ll catch it here on the other side, it’s already waiting for us, we just have time to leave. And thoughts on Costa. My first time on Costa. I had no expectations. I loved it. I thought the food was very good, the itinerary was very good. The ship is a bit cheesy, right? But he went, he arrived safely, and he came back. I found the people on that ship very rude. Tell me something there in Brazil: what are the people like on the ship? I already mentioned this when we went, right, with the Grandiosa. No, the people are like animals on the ship. It’s like the law of the jungle, it seems like everyone’s going to run out of food. But anyway, that’s life on a ship, right? But other than that, it was really cool, right? My expectations were very, very low. I’d been on Costa a few times, and in the past, the food wasn’t very good, and so on. I was surprised by the fact that the food was excellent. As Path said, the ship is more or less like that, and you can understand why it’s a very old ship. They’re even selling this ship; next year it won’t even be on Costa anymore. So, it’s good, you know? When you set your expectations so low, your chances of exceeding them increase dramatically. So, it exceeded expectations. So it was really cool, really, really, really. It’s a shame. If you’re going on a cruise here in Europe, do it in the Greek islands. It’s much cooler than anywhere else, right? So, off to live on the ship for another week. Let’s go. [Music]

  1. Vocês aguentam ser passageiros, não vão lá com o Capitão pra dar uma olhadinha no comando? Eu acho que ficaria curiosa. 🩵🩷

Sempre um show!
