大阪の道の駅10駅を完全紹介!ドライブで立ち寄りたいスポットまとめ

I have visited every roadside station in the Kinki region, and in this video, I’ll introduce 10 stations in Osaka Prefecture all at once. Unlike my usual food tours, this video simply highlights the features of each roadside station. I’ll introduce them starting from the northern stations of Osaka and moving south. Let’s get started. The first roadside station is Nose Kurinosato, the northernmost in Osaka. It’s located along National Route 173. This area is famous for chestnuts, so it’s bustling with visitors in autumn. The station sells many chestnut-based products, such as chestnut shochu, chestnut chocolate, and chestnut pudding. There’s also a restaurant serving local Nose dishes, as well as rice balls made with Nose rice. And in certain seasons, you can enjoy wild boar buns made with local boar meat. Next is Shiratori-no-Sato Habikino, located in Habikino City. It has “Asukate Kurude,” a farm produce market run by JA Osaka Minami. There’s also the “Takeru-kan” hall, selling local specialties and products. You’ll also find a bakery and a place to enjoy Habikino udon. Tourist information and guides are available in this building. You can also collect your stamp here. There’s even a barbecue area where you can enjoy outdoor cooking. Habikino is also famous for figs, with many fig products on sale, such as fig parfaits, and original dorayaki made with figs. The parking lot is quite large, but it’s often full of cars. Even on weekdays, I saw cars waiting for parking. The third station is located in Taishi Town, along National Route 166: Roadside Station Chikatsu Asuka-no-Sato Taishi. This area is famous for oranges and grapes. The fruits on sale vary by season, but you can buy fresh oranges directly, as well as Taishi wine, Taishi orange sauce, and original gelato made with Taishi oranges. I recommend all of them, so please give them a try when you visit. The fourth station is Roadside Station Kanan, along National Route 309 in Kanan Town. Here you’ll find Naniwa’s traditional vegetables, such as Kema cucumbers, Katsuma pumpkins, and Osaka shirona greens. These seasonal vegetables are sold depending on the time of year. Roadside Station Kanan also sells original products, such as mikan ponzu made with local oranges. Next is the only village in Osaka Prefecture —Chihayaakasaka Village, home to Roadside Station Chihaya Akasaka. It’s a small, handmade-style roadside station, but the restaurant serves meals made with vegetables grown in the village. I had the “Terraced Rice Field Curry,” inspired by Mt. Kongo. It was very delicious. I also tried buying konnyaku made in Chihayaakasaka Village, as well as mulberry udon. These are sold inside the roadside station. Nearby, there’s also a hill of daffodils, which is worth visiting too. The sixth station is Okukawachi Kuromaro-no-Sato, in Kawachinagano City. This roadside station also has “Asukate Kurude,” run by JA. Local farm produce is sold here. At the buffet restaurant Okukawachi, you can enjoy delicious dishes made with vegetables from this region. At the Okukawachi Visitor Center, local specialty products are also sold. You can find local craft beer, and a Japanese sake called Amanozake, as well as ponzu made with Kawachinagano onions, and snack foods. You can also enjoy playing in the nearby river. On weekends and holidays, there is a fee, so please check. This roadside station offers a wide variety of original products. The seventh station is Izumi Yamaai-no-Sato in Izumi City. It’s located along National Route 170. At the Shunsai Restaurant Tsumugi, you can enjoy the “Yamaai Gozen” meal made with seasonal local ingredients. At the farm produce market, you’ll find many attractive local products. They sell craft beer made with Izumi-grown hassaku, and craft beer made with Izumi-grown lemons. They also have the station’s original yakisoba sauce, which was so tasty that I bought it again. They also sell bento boxes so you can easily enjoy the restaurant’s flavors. You can even find puddings made with local Osaka ingredients. Next is Aisai Land in Kishiwada. It’s located along National Route 170. At the farm market run by JA, you can buy not only local vegetables but also various other foods. You can also enjoy a lunch buffet featuring seasonal vegetables from this area. They also sell fresh fish delivered from the Kishiwada Fishery Cooperative. There are benches around the fountain, where you can relax and take a break. The market also sells various prepared dishes, so you can easily grab something to eat. This is a pudding made with Kishiwada sake lees. In this way, they also sell products made in Kishiwada. The ninth station is Misaki Yume Todai in Misaki Town. It’s located along National Route 26. This roadside station has the farmers’ market Yottette. Here you can buy local vegetables and seafood. They sell many kinds of products, including the “phantom tempura” of Nakashioji, and tai-meshi (sea bream rice), easy to eat. It was filled with sea bream and tasted delicious. They also sell puddings made with eggs from local poultry farms. You can also visit the observatory built on a hill, where you can enjoy views of Misaki Town. The last roadside station in Osaka is Totto Park Kojima, also in Misaki Town. This is a unique roadside station where you can enjoy sea fishing. Inside, you’ll find fish prints on display, and many anglers gather here. Of course, although limited, some products are also sold here. If the station is open, you can walk partway in even without fishing. Access to the fishing pier requires a fee, so you need to pay if you want to fish. There’s also a cafeteria where you can have a meal. Even if you don’t fish, you can stop by and enjoy views of Osaka Bay. This time, I introduced all 10 roadside stations in Osaka Prefecture. I hope this helps you choose stops for your drive or trip. The charm of roadside stations changes with the seasons, and you can’t discover everything on just one visit. Every time you go, there are new discoveries. I plan to keep uploading summary videos of roadside stations across Kinki. Please subscribe to my channel and stay tuned!
