On a sunny day, I took the Hokuriku Expressway from Joetsu City, Niigata Prefecture toward Toyama, and after getting off the Hokuriku Expressway at Itoigawa IC, I came to National Route 148 in Hakuba Village, Nagano Prefecture, and turned right in front of Hakuba Station toward Matsumoto.This area is “Snow Peak Land Station Hakuba” is on the left just before the center of Hakuba Village, and soon after passing “Snow Peak” we will arrive at our destination. New opening in June 2024! [RV Park Hakuba Campsite] Usage fee: 4,400-5,500 per night per car Number of available cars: 12 (power supply free of charge in all areas) Check-in: 11:00-17:00 Check-out: ~11:00 (Usage period: All year round) “The recording and information in this video are current as of early July 2024” The majestic Northern Alps in front of you. Just this view will make you excited! This place is located in the center of Hakuba. 8 minutes walk (550m) to the bathing facility “Hakuba Happo Onsen”. 9 minutes walk (700m) to “Snow Peak Land Station Hakuba”. There are convenience stores and supermarkets within walking distance, so take a walk around the area. might also be interesting. Having said that, I don’t feel like taking a walk. LOL I was looking forward to drinking beer while looking at the majestic Northern Alps! Power sources are installed at one location between each section. 2 AC outlets (20A) * As long as you can use up to 20A on the left and right sections, you won’t have any problems using an in-car home air conditioner. Parking size: Length 9m, width 8m, height unlimited *Multiple spaces cannot be used for cars larger than the lot Side awnings can be deployed (within the site) Chairs and tables can be deployed outside the car (within the site) Bonfires are also possible (within the site) *Open fires are prohibited. This is the administration building. The manager is not always on site, but I made a reservation by phone on the day of the reservation, and the manager came in the evening and paid the usage fee (cash or credit card) outside the administration building. There are three shiny sinks (with a roof), but unfortunately there doesn’t seem to be any hot water. There is a garbage collection box (for combustible garbage) behind the sink.Special garbage bags are provided free of charge. You can also throw away plastic bottles and empty cans, as well as empty gas cylinders. At night, a motion sensor turns on the lights. Let’s go inside the administration building. Inside was a sink with a water heater. It seems that you can also use the microwave and electric kettle. When you go up to the area where shoes are strictly prohibited, there is a toilet (1 urinal for men), unisex, women only (Western style/flush type: 2, with hot water washing) The toilet is spotless! I’m really happy that the toilet is clean! There is also a shower room, which is also shiny and clean (shampoo, conditioner, and body soap provided).I took a shower at night, and the water pressure was strong and comfortable. The overall facilities are excellent and I personally have no complaints. By the way, there is a fair amount of traffic on the adjacent road, but personally I don’t think the sound of cars is that bothersome. What’s more, the scenery is truly amazing. It was a weekday and there were no other reservations other than me. Moreover, this time, neither my wife nor my beloved dogs were present. Today is what is called a “complete solo”. I enjoyed a night of car camping by myself, eating and drinking whatever I wanted . This is the real thrill of car camping! This time I introduced [RV Park Hakuba Campground], which was newly opened in June, and my personal impressions are that I am very satisfied with it! This is exactly what I want to go to! And the RV park you want to aim for! It was a really great RV park. However, if I had to say one thing, it would be that the houses are relatively close together, so you need to be a little more considerate of your neighbors at night. However, I think it’s basic etiquette whether you’re camping or sleeping in your car, so if you think about it, I think this RV park really has no faults. What’s more, the ground is covered with gravel, so it won’t get muddy even in the rain, and since it’s open all year round, you can also enjoy snow car camping in the winter. I have also become a fan of this RV park. So let’s stop by the nearby Happo Onsen before heading home! “RV Park Hakuba Campsite” The location is excellent as a sightseeing base in Hakuba.I feel like I would like to stay here during the summer.
