Ibukiyama Driveway, 1,260m above sea level. The Ibukiyama Driveway has extended its summer weekend car camping and stargazing period, allowing car camping on weekends in September and October! Apparently the temperature is below 20°C! The outside temperature is currently 36°C. Fires are strictly prohibited on Ibukiyama Driveway! Wrong! Using firearms inside the car may be problematic! If there’s a fire, it’s on top of a mountain, so it will take a while for the fire engine to arrive. As usual, I’ll be enjoying electric cooking in the car! I brought a large-capacity, high-output portable power supply, so I’m looking forward to it! It was so bright, I frowned and drove seriously . The traffic lights at Sekigahara were vertical! It’s a tough town, with hot and cold weather . On days when car camping is allowed, Sekigahara Ibukiyama Driveway may restrict entry if it gets too crowded… If there are restrictions, this video will end here. As a JAF member, I got a 300 yen discount! It was a day when I could camp in my car without any problems! It seems I can go home whenever I want! It was 32°C at the base of the mountain, so I’m looking forward to the cooler weather at the summit! I’m driving 30 minutes straight on mountain roads! Only 5 minutes left until the summit parking lot. Going back and forth between Gifu and Shiga. Maybe it’s the altitude , but I’m feeling edema and dizzy. At 1000m, I’m experiencing altitude sickness. lol I’m just climbing this mountain road. I reached the summit (?) and parked near the restroom! There were no spaces near the restroom or the shop, so I parked a little further away . The mountains are right in front of me! Actually, I’m in the mountains! Totally, I paid a pretty penny. The mountains stretch out before me. It’s hotter than I thought… The second-row windows are wide open, so ventilation is my number one priority. I have a box of cooking utensils under the car today, and a cooler box and other cooking supplies in the luggage storage area . Just in case, I need a fan, which is super useful. My portable power source is the EcoFlow DELTA3 Max Plus , with a rated output of an amazing 3000W. Normally, I can’t use a kettle or induction cooktop at the same time, even though they’re over 1000W, but with a rated output of 3000W, I can use both! The output is Type-C and USB-A, and the AC output is on the front for easy use. More details later. The mesh on both sides makes it well ventilated and surprisingly invisible from the outside! As long as you don’t stare, it’s fine ♪ It’s quite cool outside! Since I was there, I was easily susceptible to the writing of Wandering Ibuki . There was a wide variety of souvenirs. I spent a lot of money, but I realized I hadn’t hidden anything. It was finally snack time! From making snacks, the drink holder also had a great storage space. The elastic banana aluminum sheet keeps bananas flat, and the scent of bananas fills the car. The induction cooker and kettle combined produce about 1700W. If you set the induction cooker to the highest heat, the total combined power exceeds 2000W. EcoFlow’s X-Boost allows you to adjust the voltage and use more wattage than the rated output. DELTA3 Max The Plus can be used up to 3800W with X-Boost, but it can originally be used up to 3000W, so it works without any problems . The browned parts stick to the foil… Kettles are amazing… When you boil water on an induction cooktop, you can’t cook at the same time, so it’s convenient to have a kettle. Once the bananas are browned, it’s OK . I have a bad feeling… I forgot my coffee mill… I have beans but no mill… I’ll just drip it and mix it in a rolling bag, and it’s the perfect signal to feel like I’m outdoors. Instant coffee is consistently delicious and insanely delicious😍 From fruit to sweets, honey and cinnamon are the ultimate combination . I do the same thing every time I sleep in my car, but this routine is my favorite. It’s a routine, so I can finish it in an instant. Forgetting things is also a routine lol. Since I’m sleeping in my car, I prepared the portable power source DELTA3 Max an hour before leaving home. The Plus also charged from 0% to 80% in just 72 minutes (with 1500W AC input). I made wraps and cleaned up in a flash. This kettle is excellent; it doesn’t leak with the push of a button. Making coffee and snacks is easy with 96% remaining power. It seems like there’s no problem even if I use a lot of power. It felt like 24°C. It would be nice if the windows could be opened and closed by turning them around, but I hate having to start the engine every time I open the window… Maybe everyone’s sleeping in their cars? After a 40-minute hike, we reached the summit. Today, we climbed here to warm up our legs (?). We took a quick look at the twilight. We could see Lake Biwa. Apparently there are deer, but I can’t find them… We got an explanation of the starry sky here. Maybe it’s a fawn? I’m happy to see the deer! As expected, at 1260m above sea level , turning on the light means everything is visible, so I use a blind. I want to turn on the ventilation fan, but… everything is USB-A. This portable power supply only has one USB port . It can intake air but not exhaust it… I can increase the USB output by connecting a USB strip to AC . No problems with intake or exhaust! The light is also USB, so any portable power source plugged in here is running low on USB-A, so I’ll cover it with a USB tap. I can hear the starry sky briefing perfectly . I want to watch the midnight total lunar eclipse, but will I be able to wake up? 3:11 is the last chance for the total lunar eclipse. The window is open, so the sound is incredibly loud. Dinner isn’t just about onions lol. Slice them as thinly as possible. For dinner, grill them in foil. Arrange the onions. What are onion slices…? Put salmon on top . I also forgot salt and pepper… I forgot the pouch with the seasonings and mill. It looks fishy… I’ll prevent the fishy smell with garlic spices and season them . I’ll double-wrap them just to be safe . If I have an air fryer, I can leave them alone. Foil grilling is perfect!! Of course, it’s perfect since it was crushed. The air fryer and rice cooker are 1300W, so there’s no problem at all. Even if you add the kettle, it’s only about 2500W, so there seems to be room for 3000W. While waiting, I forgot to go to the starry sky briefing and relaxed like I was at home… I remembered that the exhaust fan was sucking up all the steam, so I went to the starry sky briefing . The sky over Lake Biwa was shining many times… I have an extreme fear of thunder, so I retreated. It’s cold outside without a down jacket … The moonlight is too strong, so it looks like we won’t be able to see the starry sky… I went to bed early in preparation for the total lunar eclipse. Be careful not to get burned by the rice cooker . It cooked successfully♪ It drips, so it might be better to varnish it . It tastes a little raw… An extra 10 minutes . The convenient sheet is so convenient and works great. Wrapped rice is a great friend when sleeping in the car. Use the leftover water for snack time. There’s no galley so there’s no place to throw the water away. Measures out perfectly without waste. This kettle is excellent!! For dinner, I had a foil-baked salmon set meal. The chopstick rest was a shimeji mushroom I bought while sleeping in my car in Takayama . The freeze-dried miso soup was a perfect match. The combination of salmon and garlic was surprisingly good! It ‘s pretty noisy outside… it’s starting to rain… I have to close the window! The rain clouds are hitting me directly. I wonder if I’ll be able to see the total lunar eclipse? If it’s as expected, I should be able to! With au, there’s only one signal. There is Wi-Fi at Sky Terrace Ibukiyama! You can use LINE, but watching videos is difficult. Some people panicked and retreated due to the sudden rain. I never expected it to rain so heavily… Cars are invincible!! It must be tough for those who set up tables and chairs outside… The weather in the mountains changes so quickly… Popcorn to accompany the movie The popcorn maker is over 1000W but it’s still plenty powerful ♪ It’s getting fun being ready even if popcorn goes flying at you lol Spices, you can enjoy different flavors with spices Because I love popcorn so much… I want to use it as a screen but it’s wrinkled… I was planning to enjoy a movie but… There was no signal so the movie I downloaded to my iPhone wouldn’t play I’m not leaving anything to do with my entertainment ♪ (I forget things all the time) I’m not even sure if I want to watch a movie or eat popcorn … (I always buy popcorn at the movie theater) Time flies by because we’re not an RV park so there’s no place to brush our teeth The sheet type is very useful Toothbrush sheets are very neat and recommended This portable power supply has separate AC outputs for AC1 and AC2 I connect my light to AC1 so even if I turn off the light it continues to charge on AC2 The EcoFlow series can be controlled with a smartphone app You can also turn AC1 and AC2 on and off with the app Even if the portable power supply is far away when you go to sleep You can turn it on and off with the app This is really convenient!! It was cold in the middle of the night , so I was glad I had my down sleeping bag . The answer was neither sunny nor cloudy , but misty. It was a strange feeling, like I was in a fog or among the clouds . A familiar car… I even turned on the lights using a portable power source, and it was still cold while I was putting it all together . I almost wanted to add soy milk… To make it delicious, you have to massage it♪ Soak the bread . Tie it tightly and leave it. While the bread was soaking, I started cleaning up, but it was soaked within 10 minutes. The bread was too soft to flip, so it was difficult even with an aluminum sheet… I’m using it on medium heat now, so it’s only 474W . I actually wanted to boil water in the kettle at the same time… I forgot my coffee grinder, so coffee will have to wait . Even if I brew coffee, it’s an additional 1200W, so about 1700W, so it will be fine and will kill the coffee in an instant . Maybe it was a good thing I forgot the coffee grinder? Next, I’m heading to the summit in a 40-minute walk, so high calories are important (or at least I want to eat them 🤤). My blood sugar is sky rocketing, so I’m heading to the summit in a flash! The fog is so bad I can’t see 20 meters ahead… Surprisingly, I can see? ??? Is it in the clouds? I can’t see the view from the summit, so I give up… Where’s my car? ??? It was Koma-chan after all!!! A miraculous reunion! Our thought processes are similar after all lol. It’s starting to rain . It’s raining pretty hard. Maybe it was a good idea not to head to the summit! Starting to clean up! I thought I’d used this portable power supply liberally, but there’s still 56% left! The EcoFlow DELTA3 Max Plus I used this time is a new product that will be released soon! Today, I was able to use it without worrying about wattage during my car camping trip because the rated output is 3000W, so I can use almost all home appliances without worrying about things like kettles , which I usually avoid when camping in my car because they have too much output ! The output ports are USB-C x 3 (max 140W x 1 max 45W x 2) and USB-A x 1 (max 18W), with a cigarette lighter socket (max 126W) on the back . I like having all the outputs on the front because it’s the easiest to use. So far, there haven’t been any inconveniences, but if I had to say one downside… it would be that there’s only one USB-A? USB-A products are becoming scarce, so connecting a USB tap to AC isn’t a problem. Also, the fact that it only has four AC outputs doesn’t bother me that much. There are plenty of products with six AC outputs, but I’ve never used all six, so four is enough. Personally, I didn’t see any major drawbacks. It’s not too noisy, so I was able to sleep without any issues (operating noise is less than 30dB at less than 600W) . It weighs about 23kg, so it’s too heavy for a woman to carry easily. It takes some effort to move it from the house to the car, but even a woman can easily carry 23kg. It’s quite small overall for a portable power supply that can handle up to 3000W. It feels about the same size as a 2000W model , but even though the rated output is 3000W, the capacity is 2048Wh. With this much capacity, it ‘s more than enough for one night and two days . With 56% remaining, it’s fine for two nights and three days. That ‘s right . For families or those who need more power for emergencies, you can use the extended battery to expand the capacity up to 10,240Wh. I used roughly five batteries generously and used half of them over two days and one night, so that works out to about 10 days of power. This is amazing. Being able to expand a portable power source is quite important. For people like me who are staying two to three nights and one night, this one is enough, but considering the risk of having to buy a new one if you’re going on a long trip or need more power for emergencies, it’s better to be able to increase the capacity by using the extended battery, and buying a larger portable power source would be quite a burden. For people who want to sleep in their car for a week or so, or who are traveling around Hokkaido in the summer, even this much capacity will definitely not be enough. There are several charging methods: 1. AC charging, 2. Charging while driving , and 3. Solar charging. For charging while driving, the maximum power output is 180W. The EcoFlow portable power source fully charges in 2.7 hours while driving if you attach an 800W Alternator Charger to your car . Even if it drops to 56% over two days and one night , you can still fully charge it by the time you reach your next destination using the 800W Alternator Charger ! Charging at up to 800W is amazing! It’s great for people who are going on long trips or staying in their cars for multiple nights ! This time I introduced the EcoFlow DELTA 3 Max Plus, but cooking with fire in the car is always a risk, and I’m a bit scared, so I always think it’s really convenient to have a portable power source. It’s great to have a portable power source for car camping and camping, but it’s also really reassuring to have one as a disaster preparedness item in case of disasters, which are becoming more common these days. Since I was camping in a place with little reception, I only checked essential weather and safety information rather than checking social media when I got a signal. If my smartphone runs out of power, it’s hard to get the information I need, so it’s better to be able to charge your smartphone in an emergency, and of course, a portable power source is really important to protect against heatstroke and the cold, like an electric blanket in winter or a fan in summer ! It was fun using the high-capacity DELTA 3 Max Plus (?). Now, let’s head home. Today was another great day camping in my car. I’m glad they called out to me, and I was excited when they said they’d come to my car later. It’s a common car, so maybe it was hard to find. If you see one at an RV park or campground, please call out! I thought it would be cool, but Mt. Ibuki was unexpectedly hot… There are car camping opportunities until October, so if you’re interested, give it a go! It’s good to have protection against both heat and cold. This time, I used the EcoFlow DELTA 3 Max Plus portable power supply, which allowed me to use a lot of my appliances. It was so much easier not having to worry about whether they’d last until morning and constantly worrying about power. It was fun eating popcorn for the first time in a while, and when I looked at the floor, there was quite a bit of popcorn on it lol. I’ll clean it up when I get home. Everyone came out around 2 a.m. to watch the lunar eclipse. I wanted ice cream on the summit. The fog was so intense. The bus tour group headed to the summit in the rain and fog. Mt. Ibuki is close, so I’d love to come back again. ♪ After that, I continued driving through the fog, and it was terrifying! ] We’ll be showing you what it’s really like driving in the fog! You can’t see much, so for safety reasons you turn on your lights to alert oncoming vehicles and you can only see about 5m ahead… When the fog gets thicker, you can barely see 3m ahead and be scared of oncoming vehicles suddenly appearing.
