道の駅明恵ふるさと館。国道480号線北上・有田川沿いの景色を楽しむ和歌山ドライブ【和歌山道の駅めぐり2日目②】S660ドライブ
We will depart from the roadside station Kainan Sakuasu. I went to the roadside station, Kainan Saquasu. It was a newly opened roadside station and the facilities were clean. And there are many attractive items for sale. There were many things I wanted to buy. You bought and ate breakfast. And I had a strawberry parfait. I’m full now and my stomach hurts. It was a very nice roadside station. Now let’s head to the next roadside station. It was cold in the early morning, but… The current time is 10:26 and the temperature is 21℃. The cold in the morning feels like a lie. I want to open the roof of my S660… I forgot to apply sunscreen today. If you open the roof without sunscreen, your skin will get burned. I don’t think I’ll open the roof today. Driving along the roads of Wakayama with the roof closed. I’m currently running on National Route 42. We will continue driving towards National Route 480. National Route 480 is a road along the Arida River. We aim for a roadside station along the road along the Arida River. Kainan Saquasu was a large roadside station. I think a large bus will also arrive. This roadside station is likely to be crowded on holidays. However, it is a roadside station that you should stop by when passing through National Route 42. I hope ETC2.0 service is adopted. Even if you are using the expressway, you can take a detour. From here is Arita City. Until now, it was Kainan City. It would have been nice if the weather had been sunny during my last drive. From here is National Route 480. Driving on National Route 480. We will continue heading upstream of the Arida River. A mandarin orange field can be seen on the mountain. As expected, this is a place where mandarin oranges are produced. As you continue along National Route 480… There are three roadside stations. And beyond that is Mt. Koya. You can also go sightseeing in Mt. Koya. At first, I was planning to sightsee around Mt. Koya. However, after doing some research, it seems that it would be difficult to visit Mt. Koya for sightseeing. It is impossible to fully enjoy sightseeing in Mt. Koya. I am planning to go to Koyasan again. As expected, it’s a national highway with a numbering in the latter half of three digits… the road gets narrower. It’s interesting that this is a national highway. It’s not a terrible road, but… Many national highways have narrow sections. I found a mandarin orange vending machine. It doesn’t appear to be open for business. Driving on National Route 480 along the Arida River. The width of the road is wide and narrow repeatedly. Turn right at this traffic light. Even though I’ve come this far, I’m still full. The roadside station sign came into view. This is Myoe Furusatokan. The remaining distance to the roadside station is 1 km. The road will become narrower again. Local roads are wider than national highways. We arrived. I arrived at the roadside station Myoe Furusatokan. Apparently there is also a bakery attached. There was a bread factory inside this roadside station. Freshly baked handmade bread is on sale. So this time I bought bread. It wasn’t something unique to Wakayama, though. Wiener bread and curry bread. This is plum salt bread, typical of Wakayama. When you think of plums, you think of Wakayama Prefecture. I want to eat bread right away… I can’t eat because I’m full. . I plan on eating it somewhere along this journey. Let’s leave now.It ‘s very hot. There seemed to be a hot spring near the roadside station Myoe Furusatokan. It’s too hot and I don’t feel like going to a hot spring at this time. There seemed to be a roadside station about 6 minutes by car from the roadside station. This hot spring is located along the Arida River. I wanted to go there because the hot springs had high reviews. Also, the hot spring area seems to be in a valley… The street view didn’t look good, so I’ll move on. There are fruit stands everywhere. Is there a vending machine next to this that sells oranges? ? We will go into the mountains of Wakayama. After this, there are two roadside stations along this road. Probably because it’s difficult to eat. I hope I can buy something. At the first roadside station, I got carried away and ate too much. I’ll definitely eat the bread I bought earlier. I also plan to visit tourist spots from time to time. Thank you for your help. The roads around here are also narrow. It feels like it gets thinner when you get to the village. It ‘s a really uphill slope. Where are we going? It feels like we’re driving through the mountains. The scenery is amazing. Wakayama Prefecture is a place where you can enjoy both the sea and the mountains. There is a hydroelectric power plant where the mountain gets deeper and deeper , so you can feel the mountain close to you. It still runs on National Route 480. National Route 168, which passes through Totsukawa in Nara, looks like this. It’s a drive through the valley.
