Autumn Camping Recommended 10 Autumn Leaf Camps Hirayu Campground Located in Hirayu, Okuhida Onsen Village, Takayama City, Gifu Prefecture This is a campsite located at an altitude of about 1,300 meters The timing of the autumn leaves depends on the climate of that year Around late October to early November each year By the way, I went on November 1, 2024 But the next day, the leaves all fell at once The venue has auto-free sites The gate is accessible 24 hours a day for entry and exit The site allows people who have arrived to enter any preferred location Check-in starts at 8 AM, so on weekends during the autumn foliage season… Crowds are expected from the morning The paths inside are narrow and uneven Choosing the right site is important here I choose this place It’s nice that the area is gradually becoming a site Recommended sites Enter through the entrance gate and go straight You can see the cooking building on the upper left Turn left at the street where the kitchen was visible earlier I couldn’t shoot in the autumn because there were previous guests, but here is the video from when I used it in the summer The cooking building is close, so I recommend it Definitely have a warm meal at night A starry sky with countless stars at night A hot spring that can be visited for a day nearby There is also Hirayu no Mori Chiyoda Lake Campground A campground located in Ina City, Nagano Prefecture It’s a cozy and quiet lakeside campsite The lakeside sites surrounded by broadleaf trees (like ivy and maple) are popular for their stunning views Free site where vehicle entry is not allowed Good spots can fill up quickly There are places where the mobile phone signal is weak or out of range The luggage will be transported from the parking lot using a cart I chose the lakeside site at the back Carrying the luggage up to that point is quite difficult If you want to set up a tent by the lakeside, weekdays when there are fewer people are recommended The night sky is very beautiful In the morning, you can fully enjoy the tranquility of nature The autumn leaves illuminated by the morning sun are also beautiful There are water sources and restrooms, but please note that there are no shops or stalls It’s essential to procure food in advance. I recommend Super Tsuruya Nobumugi Pass Auto Campground Located in Nakawa, Matsumoto City, Nagano Prefecture A campsite located in the mountains at an altitude of about 1,300 meters In autumn, the surrounding larch and broadleaf trees turn golden and deep red, making this place very beautiful with its autumn leaves Site introduction Everything is auto-sight The one I used was number 13 There are just a lot of fallen leaves It was very beautiful Because it is surrounded by trees It’s a bit dark, but the atmosphere is very nice The site is terraced If you want to see the surrounding mountains, this is recommended From the front, numbers 30 to 26 It’s elevated and the view is amazing If it’s clear, the scenery is like this The kitchen and restroom are located in the central area There are toilets and showers in the management building On the way back, To Soba no Sato Nakawa Nagawa’s specialty ‘Toji Soba’ Place the portioned soba into the toji basket Warm it up in a pot with wild vegetables and mushrooms It’s definitely delicious Takasome Campground Nagawa, Matsumoto City, Nagano Prefecture

　　　　　　　　↓ you can see Mount Norikura The best view unfolds The night sky is filled with stars In the morning, you can enjoy the Morgenrot of Mount Norikura A little above the lakeside There are also sites with beautiful maple leaves I used Area B This place is surrounded by white birch trees and is absolutely wonderful Area B was nice because there were few customers on weekdays The kitchen and the restroom are also clean I recommend the best time to see the autumn leaves Soba is a must on the way back Koan Campground Famous campsite known from Yuru Camp Enjoy Mount Fuji and the autumn leaves This time is just around Halloween The forest site was beautifully colored The campsite is a free site, so it’s challenging to secure a spot You can get a good spot depending on the timing It would be lucky if we could find a spot where we can see Mount Fuji This area is prime real estate, isn’t it? Lakeside sites are popular, but It really gets crowded after all In such cases, the hidden spots are definitely deeper inside In some places, you can see Mount Fuji This place is also recommended There are also places like this If it’s a small tent, this might work too Please find a nice place that suits your taste Konaridaira Campground This is a popular scenic campsite located in Kamikochi, Matsumoto City, Nagano Prefecture The location overlooking the Hotaka mountain range is truly breathtaking The autumn leaves season typically runs from late September to mid-October Based at the Koarashihei Campground If you trek in Kamikochi You can enjoy the best autumn leaves The scene at the campsite was captured during the fresh green season You must carry your tent equipment from the bus terminal yourself (a cart is available for rent) Good viewing spots get crowded, so On Saturday morning, everyone was setting up early The best spot for this view does not allow tent setup This area further in is a tent site It’s a free area, so the distance to the neighbors is close There are indeed many mountain tents The farther you get from the mountain, the more open it is (taken on a Saturday morning) By the way, I went to Karasawa Cirque during the autumn leaves season The long-awaited Morgenrot Raichozawa Campground A campground surrounded by the beautiful mountains of Tateyama Access via the Tateyama Kurobe Alpine Route To Murodo Murodo to Raichozawa

Please be sure to check it out AiMiX Minami Norikura Base, a campsite located deep in the mountains of Takayama City, Takane Town, Gifu Prefecture Approximately 1500 meters above sea level The facilities are aging, not high-spec, but The maple trees around the management building are beautiful The night was illuminated In a site surrounded by forest There are many sites available, and some locations even have powered sites It’s just a place full of nature It might be quite difficult when it rains.
