山間僻地に残るセルフビルド天守閣廃墟を訪ねる【野村キャッスルランド深山、滝野城】
It appears suddenly in the deep mountains. Nomura Castle Land Miyama, centered around the replica castle tower, Takino Castle. It took a local entrepreneur 31 years to build it. It was donated to Nomura Town in 1997 and used as a leisure facility. There were bungalows, a museum, a banquet hall, and a fishing grounds. It closed in 2006, less than 10 years after the donation. Since then, it has deteriorated due to damage from heavy rains and other factors. To reach Takino Castle, one must travel a long, long mountain path. This is the last settlement in the area, but there are no signs of residents. The road gets worse beyond the village. All I can do is pray that no oncoming traffic comes. If there’s no place to turn, I’m in trouble. Finally, my destination is in sight. A magnificent stone wall. This spot is used as a cell phone base station. As a result, despite its remote location, there’s signal reception. There are bungalows named after plants: Fuji, Kaede, Ran, Hagi, Aoi, and Kiku. The building itself remains intact. The interior is surprisingly clean. The air conditioner has been removed. As we’ll see, almost all of the air conditioners have been stolen. Everything is eerily intact except for the air conditioners. It would take a lot of organization to get all those air conditioners out of the mountains. This is the linen room. Let’s take a look at the upper bungalows. Sorry for the loud bear bell. Part of the ceiling in this room has collapsed. “Please make yourself comfortable.” There’s a monument commemorating Yasuaki Takino, the builder of Takino Castle. A Japanese rat snake is crossing the bridge. “Shirasagi no Yu” (White Heron Bath) and “Hou no Yu” (Phoenix Bath) Restroom Garbage Collection Site “Gomi Yashiki” “Public Telephone” “Japanese-Style Cafe” There’s a sign for the Samurai Residence Banquet Hall at the toll booth. It appears there were the Golden Pavilion, the Silver Pavilion, the Upper Mansion, and the Middle Mansion. I encountered a horde of bees here and retreated. They looked like bumblebees, not hornets. I have no choice but to go. “Seven-Room Corridor” It also served as a museum. “Second Gate of the Main Citadel” Buddha statues and palanquins are on display. Apparently, the second floor was also a reference room. The third floor is empty. The fourth floor is also almost empty. The 5th floor observation deck is also simpler than I expected. A castle visitor list remains. Takino Yasuaki, the entrepreneur who built Takino Castle, was born in 1931. The complex took 31 years and 8 months to complete, starting in August 1965. It was originally called “Tohakuen” (Eastern Paradise), and was renamed after being donated to Nomura Town. It could be considered a type of self-built structure. However, the location is too inconvenient to be utilized as a tourist destination. The road is now rough and full of falling rocks, making it difficult to visit casually. “The first fishing pond sells for 300 yen per trout.” The second floor of the Ninomaru bailey is now used as a storage shed. Newspaper from 1977 Otemon Gate is on the other side of the road. Information about walking stick rentals 22-tatami banquet hall “Nakayashiki” This room also lacks air conditioning. Calendar from 2006 History of Man’an Falls This is Man’an River, and apparently there used to be a Respect for the Aged Day Park. Is this the Respect for the Aged Day Park? Statues of the Seven Lucky Gods are enshrined here. The 24-tatami banquet hall “Kamiyashiki” Another bee scared me. There should have been an entrance on the other side of the main house, but I missed it. The road to the fishing pond is blocked off. Let’s go around to the lower entrance. It seems to have been a barbecue venue for Okariba Yaki. There’s a crowned gate. Statue of Yakuyoke Daishi “Shimoyashiki” (Lower Residence) This castle land was filled with the dreams of local entrepreneurs. It’s full of romance, but the town of Nomura, which donated it, may have found it too much to handle. Nomura Town itself disappeared in 2004 due to consolidation. The mountain castle decayed without notice. Thank you for watching.
