Easy to book tickets & cheaper via Klook, tickets are ready for collection at the ticket counter, no need to wait. Efficient! Shows are in Japanese but entertaining, enjoy to watch. Our tickets included traditional costume dress up & photo taking. They will take time to dress us up, giving extra & personal attention. We enjoy at the village park very much, recommend for those travelling to Noboribetsu, spend half day there. great experience for kids and families. the shows were entertaining but seems more enjoyable for kids. some of the activities were a bit scary though, especially the cat temple, but they were still fun. A good way to spend half a day in Noboribetsu. We saw the oiran, outdoor and indoor ninja live shows. Although the show was in Japanese, we were able to appreciate the storyline visually. The kids enjoyed the ninja house, cat shrine and the ghost house tremendously. The park was also beautifully landscaped. Had ramen for lunch before moving on to Jigokudani. We totally love this Edo period theme park. The place is super beautiful. Staff were all very nice. We enjoyed the Ninja maze. Recommend to cater at least 4 hours duration to enjoy the place. Simply amazing. From doll paining to taking photographs wearing samurai/ninja costumes to watching the shows. It’s one of my best experience in a folk museum/village. Very worthwhile, I took a lot of photos. Everywhere you walk is beautiful. All employees are smiling, friendly and happy to help. Many performances There are costumes for rent as well. There’s a samurai house, a cat ghost house, very fun. Very easy booking via Klook for this place when you arrive, the tickets are ready just pick up at the ticket counter and going in. no need to line up or wait. Quite a big cultural village and we managed to visit 3 shows out of 4. The Ninja show is exciting although the show only use Japanese. You can hear a gun shot and Ninjas flying around. Good and interactive session. Plenty of things to do there… we went for the cultural shows about 3 of them and went to play the games there. Recommend to spend half a day there. We came quite late and it was raining heavily, but even in these conditions, we were able to enjoy the village, the buildings, the actors and soak in the atmosphere. A bit expensive, but definitely worth the visit if you are visiting the Noboribetsu onsen area. The village is accessible by bus and is a great choice if you are traveling as a family. The shows are lovely and even though they are all in Japanese, they have translations in various langauges printed on paper that are handed out to the visitors based on the country they’re from.
