[Music] Hey guys, Bridge Floor Parks After Dark and you may not recognize where we are right now because we didn’t recognize him. We pulled up about a minute and a half ago. We are at the Disney Beach Club and unannounced to us, they’ve started another Disney construction project here. They’ve blocked off the entire front of the hotel. So, you actually can’t go into the lob under the front door towards the lobby. You have to park out here. Ballet guys are fantastic. Let’s pull up here briefly to take this video for you guys. But, it looks like they’re redoing the entire entrance of the beach club. Now, we know that yach club is going through a renovation. We know grand flow goes through renovation. The lists going on and on and the amount of road construction going on right now throughout all of Disney is significant too. So clearly Disney is definitely sprucing up their game and doing a lot of changes. We find it interesting is during the summer but it’s Disney. So with that being said guys we’ll continue to show you what we find. This is Florida Parks Art with his partners in crime Addy. Hi Kenzie. And want you have a fantastic day. We just want to show you kind of how the construction lays out. So, it literally in encloses the entire entrance area. Um, I think what I really always marvel by is one Disney always have those kind of signs on it, which is just fantastic. Coast from Walt himself. But they even make their construction areas look nice. It’s truly some Disney magic. So, we you got to come kind of all the way around and then come inside this way. And then there is actually the entrance. So, we’ll go in that way and then I’ll show you guys the lobby, but I was kind of hoping to get a peek in what’s behind these walls, what it’s doing, but no luck. All right. So, we’re going to head in. And so guys, we kind of turn our backs to the construction. And that, my friends, is the entrance to the Disney Beach Club. So the Beach Club is basically connected to the Yach Club. So you’re really looking at kind of a a sister resort of the Yach Club. And this is the Beach Club. The Beach Club is kind of your upscale [Music] northeast Jersey beach house vibe. It’s really done incredibly well. They just redid the furnishings in here really not that long ago and they did just a very nice job. It’s kind of an understated space, but it has those little points like the lights here are actually clamshells with starfish underneath of them. I just find that super cool. The check-in area is right here tucked back in. Great Mickey Mini beat scenes in the back. [Music] and the lobby sprawls out. Now, as you come in, to your right is where the restaurants are. And Kate May Cafe is right there. We’ll go over and take a look at that. [Music] The Kate May Cafe. It’s late in the evening, so it’s broken out, but Kate May Cafe is really their buffet. They have a dinner and breakfast buffet, and it’s very highend. The space itself is very neat. They have the croquet balls and mouths here and it’s just a great great spot. It’s also an incredibly busy spot. They also then outside of here they have Beaches and Cream. We’ll show you guys that in a couple minutes. And that’s their high-end ice cream. And then if we go this way, like you come in the lobby and go to your left, they have the store. Now there is an upstairs like balcony. you can walk around and check things out. That’s really kind of neat as well. And then if you go straight through from the lobby, you go straight out the back of the property. We’ll do that in a minute. But overall, the lobby itself is pretty narrow. Um, it kind of goes it’s one of those resorts that sprawls left and right and rooms go out, but it’s pretty. But here is the Beach Club Marketplace. Now, the beach club marketplace is their store. um opens 11:00 and it’s getting close to that time now. So, we want to kind of show you it, but it obviously has all the nautical kind of touches and themes. And what we love is each resort now has their own merchandise, and we’re showing you guys that. The Beach Club’s merchandise is by far some of the nicest. I mean, these bottles alone are just awesome. They’re metal. They have the top for $44.99. So they’re not cheap, but that’s just such a cute plastic cup. Great little beach bag. But then this is great. Really, it is the Mickey and Mini and the 19 the oldtime gar 1940s. That is their Loungefly. And what is great about the Loungefly, you look at the zipper. It’s an ice cream cone. The mini bow has a mini look. It has ears on the ice cream cone, which is really, really outstanding. And then on the back it has beach club. Just really a welldone piece. So I I think really what Disney has done that other resorts have just missed is they make the resort itself the experience. And so you would want merchandise from the resort. It’s really very very cool. They have all the other regular t-shirts and things and they do have all the pins. The pin collection here is really well and a lot. And then as you kind of come through the store section, you kind of click on now. It is a DVC property. So they have all the DVC stuff here. Disney Vacation Club. It’s their time share. And then this store is great because it does fall right into their dining area. So we kind of coast over to our right. So it continues with some of the baby clothes. And then the ears are right over here. The selection pretty solid. I mean, you have your stuffies and your ears and then all your toys kind of in here. Um, they’re really pushing now. I really enjoy the fact they’re pulling pushing Disney transportation and each resort seems to have an element that the other doesn’t. So, we’ve seen the Disney Cruise Line with Mickey. We’ve seen the truck. We haven’t seen the Pirates of the Caribbean, folk, and we have not seen the Toy Story tractor trail. So, it seems like they’re pulling in some stuff in here. But this is what’s kind of neat. They have an entire food service area with coffee and they do probably a breakfast here, a pizza. They have the Danishes here as well as some grab and go, and then all the food stuff back here. So really what’s great about this place is it has some of everything. Um so really it’s really pretty outstanding. And so that’s really how the store lays out. So what we’re going to do now is we’re going to go back to the store. We’re going to go out the lobby and we’re going to go out and show you guys the outside. [Music] All right. So guys, before we actually go outside, right out of the backside of the store, is this area. It’s outside. It’s a beautiful little sitting area. All the chairs and tables. And my guess and the part of crime’s guest is that when you get food inside, this is a place you can come and grab a bit to eat. It’s awesome. It’s a courtyard that is kind of tucked away and hidden. Great little grassy section out here. We never have seen this. We’ve been here a 100 times. And it just you’re right in the middle of everything. And look how neat this is. So, this is kind of right in the middle of the beach club. Now, I’ll show you something that’s completely different is if we go this way, it roll it kind of wraps around. So, we’re going to follow around cuz we’ve never been out here. So, we’re on an adventure together. So, this wraps around tables continue. And then there is that. So, is the Disney Beach Club villas. Now, remember this is a DVC property. So, this is their time share. So, this goes out this way and then there’s that. I think that’s the path that might take you out to maybe maybe. So, we’re going to keep going this way, guys. See, that’s another little exit path, I think. Okay. So, right now we’re parallel to the entrance. So, the entrance is to our left. And we just found something really cool. We’ll come back and take a look at this. suit. Okay, this is the Disney Beach Club villas. So, this is a separate space that is just for DDC. They have the dreaming room, which is a great little sitting room with a beautiful TV and oh, how wonderful this is. Oh, wow. This is a beautiful space. So, we’re just loving this. And then as we come to now, what this reminds me of is the Wilderness Lodge has their DVC in a separate space. It’s almost a separate way you can come in and check in. So, if you look here, there’s access pool and rooms are that way. We’re not going to go that way. But this is called the breezeway. And real quick, I got to show you this. Oh, Disney does chandeliers better than anybody I’ve ever seen in my life. Look how awesome that chandelier is. But look at the space here. They have these huge I’m going to go right there in a sec. These huge spaces and what the part of the crown was showing was this painting. And oh my, how awesome. Now, if you look real closely, I’ll zoom in for you guys, but that is a Disney Mickey balloon. Fireworks over top of what the oldtime beach club would look like on the ocean. But this is just an awesome awesome space. So listen, we’re going to keep exploring through the doors. So let’s go through the doors and take a look. See what we got. So we come out through these doors. There is a private DVC pool. We have never seen this space before, guys. And I know some of you may be looking at this TV going, “Really? That’s where we always hang out?” But this is a great little kind of quiet pool. But it looks like it’s for DVC only and it’s kind of wrapped in now. We’re going to go down. We’re going to keep exploring as we do. And going down along the pool area, there’s a sidewalk. Let’s see where this goes. So, there’s a pool area. There’s a hot tub. And back it looks like a smoking section back here. It’s really neat lights. Let’s see what’s back over here. Wow. Like I said, there’s a beautiful waterway here and it leads to that bridge and that bridge is actually the bridge you enter on. What we come to is come around the side and we kind of go in tower towards the entrance. So that bridge here to the side, that’s how you drive across to get inside. And so that’s safe, guys. So listen, we’re going to jump here and we’re going to go back to the lobby and then we’re going to go out the lobby and show you what’s out back besides what we just found, which is amazing. Hang in there. [Music] All right. So, we’ve left the Beach Club Villas area and we said we’re going out there, but I forgot to show you this piece. So to welcome you is this bronze statue of Era. Now it’s a little dark so it’s hard to see. So when you get a little closer if I get a light on her. So it’s just her on a rock with the Disney Vacation Club sign. And actually it’s funny. The rock is actually coral in Disney fashion. They elevated it. The concrete she’s on is actually sand color. Disney does it right. So we’re going to head this way because we found a new door. This is this Florida Park After Dark Adventure. We keep finding new parts of this resort we didn’t even know about. Yeah, you guys are summarizing this video. Floor Parks After Dark goes deeper and deeper into the Beach Club resort. We have We have come into this place maybe a dozen times, if not more, and we’ve never seen any of this. So, here is another room we have found. So, off off deep in the lobby is this sitting area. with his own TV. And then there’s this hallway. So, let’s walk down the hallway with really great worker furniture and great beach art and it brings back kind of the old time 20’s beach life. Okay, we’re loving this right now. Yeah. And now we’re stepping out. Now I know where we are. And there is a Beach Club store. Marketplace. Marketplace. And if we go this way, I’m guessing we’re back to the lobby. Go back to the lobby. Yep. Cuz we always go down that hallway. We’re in a new hallway. Okay. So, this goes out towards the lobby. We just never have gone in this side. All right. So, now we’re going to shoot quickly take you out the back. Show what the back looks like. Go see Beaches and Cream. So, you guys can see all that. But if you haven’t noticed, the beach club had a lot to offer. So, here we go. Let’s take a look. And and wow, more construction. A whole construction wall. So, Disney continues to do some more construction here. It looks like they’re doing something more on the entrance here that goes between beach and yacht. But this is the back. They’ve actually cut this walkway in half. Wow. Which is real surprising cuz this actually typically is a very beautiful space to walk down. I like But this goes out to Florida, one of Florida Parks after dark’s favorite places in all of Disney, Decot Resort area. And that is made up of beach and yacht and boardwalk. And you are now looking at just off property. And now you’re looking directly straight across at the two. So that’s a boardwalk straight across with all that they have to offer. To our immediate left is access to Epcot through the National Gateway. And this way walks over towards the yacht. Now, you have heard you’ve heard you’ve heard and heard and heard about the um pool being redone. Looks like they’re redoing their scaffolding on the slide. Slide’s still under construction. And the pool I is open, but sections of it aren’t yet. Slide’s not open yet, and parts of the pool area are open yet as they finish doing some things done. But water’s back in the pool. But there is section of the pool that is open. And Hurricane Hannah is open now as well. And real quick, we’ll pan over. That’s a great shot of the dolphin right there. That’s great shot of the swan, which both Marriott properties, which are just by here. And then they have their beach here. And we’ll just show you the pool area between the yacht and beach cuz they share it. And that is Hurricane Hannah, which is now reopened. So I got to take my This is the beach area. They’ve just redid this whole thing was closed for many, many, many months, but it’s back open. And they had the windmill going. So guys, our next stop is the beach uh beaches and cream. And I think that may wrap up the beach club. We have seen and done a lot. We’re off to the beach uh beaches and cream. Hang on. [Music] Hey guys, we’re Florida Parks after dark. I’m here on partners and crime. I’m Kenzie and we are here at Stormalong Bay. Stormalong Bay, the pool between yacht and beach club. Now, the reason we are here is it has reopened now. It has been closed for quite some time since January. Since January. They just finished not that long ago the refurbish and have water in. They refreshed it. They’ve cleaned it up. They have it operational, so it’s working. They’ve replaced the sand, the water, and did all that. This is probably one of the most immersive pools they have in all of Disney. What they don’t have yet is across the way there is a pirate ship slide that goes into this pool area. That slide is not open yet, but it’s going to open up soon. But guys, it is now open. It is beautiful. It is pristine. They have done a fantastic job here. But we wanted to show you guys the newest update. So, the pool’s ready to go, guys. So, listen. So, guys, so we got back into the lobby. But we realized after we saw the pool area, you can’t get to Beaches and Cream easily from the outside because of the construction. So, we’ve come back in lobby and we’ve come back down main cafe. Now, there’s a hallway here that connects the two resorts and you can then at that point pop out and be right next to the pool and next to Beaches and Cream. So, we’re going to have to go through this way. So you can see all the signs they have up partner parents and they’re showing how to exit a different way. We’re going to walk and check it out. Okay, so we’re on the other side of the Cape May Cafe. As we come around, they do have the Martha Vineyard Lounge, which is right here. Give you a very quick glance at that. It’s really just more of a high scale kind of sports bar, but not TVs and great chairs and a really nice bar. And this is where we’re going out to cuz this is where Beach is now. We’re now on the other side of the pool. So, we took that video and this is the back side of the pool. Like back side of water but different. And if we go up here, right across the pool, there is Beaches and Cream. Now, that is a Beaches and Cream to go window. There usually is a way to get into Beaches and Cream. And sometimes that waits long. They do have reservations. You can’t just walk in. You got to have to have reservation to get in. But they do have a to- go window, which is great. So, let’s take a peek. And that’s 11:00 p.m. So, it’s wrapping up now. So, here is what they have here. They have your s’mores shake and your stout float, sunrise float, grasshopper float, whooper float. They have all the floats. Then they have your ice cream. And they have a waffle cone. And it is open from 11 to 11. And it is past 11:00. So they’re wrapping up. So we just want to show you guys kind of what it looks like. Let’s take a peek. So if you look in the the inside of the hole is very cool. Great seats, shoe boxes, a lot of Disney art on there. Open kitchen kind of feel. It has a diner vibe, a beach vibe. It’s very neat. There is your check in where you would come and check in. And last but not least, let’s show you the menu they have attached to this as well. And then here’s the menu. So, Bacon and Cream doesn’t just have ice cream, it has a grill. So, it does have your burgers and your sandwiches and your French dip, which wow, I haven’t had French dip in forever. All your soups, kids meals. Oh, yes. But they do have ice cream creations. Now, we’ll zoom in for a second. The kitchen sink. $39. Eight scoops of ice cream served with all the toppings in the house. Coca-Cola whipped cream. It is the biggest ice cream Disney has. There is a mini kitchen sink. Look like Minnie Mouse. That is a smaller version of that. So you can get a mini kitchen sink. And so that’s it. So guys, that is Beaches and Cream. It is sweet and quaint and busy. So if you come out, make sure you get yourself a reservation or use it to go window. This is Caribbean Beach Resort and we’re at the Old Port Royale. Old Port Royale is actually their lobby. So, it’s the main hub of everything. So, this is where it all starts. But Caribbean Beach itself is a very big property, one of the biggest ones Disney has. Each of its sections are basically island change um throughout the world in Caribbean. And it’s a beautiful resort. It has a Caribbean feel to it. Obviously, hear the Caribbean music, Caribbean accents everywhere. But this is a solid resort that’s been here for quite some time. has some things to tell you about the resort, but I want to show it to you first. So, let’s take a look at it. So, you come in the lobby and you get this feel almost automatic, but it’s it’s well done. It’s a beautiful space. High ceilings, exposed beams. The paddle fans up there are just very unique and very special. It does have that Caribbean kind of bungalow feel to it. Check out the lights over top of the table. They actually do the check-ins. The lobby itself is just well, it’s just awesome. Here’s a nice sitting area right in here where you wait to sit. But honestly, Disney’s got this thing down. Um, it’s the light touches. It’s the curtains that accent the openings that soften the edges. It’s little stuff that they do. So, as we come in here now, there’s a couple things here in the main area. There’s a clip of trading post, which we’ll go into. Then they have all the food. So, let’s go check trading out first. So, it is Halloween. Um, for Disney that starts in August and it is September. Now, what we love about Disney is they have things that you do not find other resorts in certain resorts. I’m already seeing stuff we have not seen yet and we’ve been to a lot of places. So, let’s start. First off, and honestly haven’t seen yet, is the spiderweb Mickey pillow. Haven’t seen it. It’s really a great pillow. A fantastic throw. It’s a home throw, but it has a Halloween feel to it. Here, let me show you what the picture looks like. Totally different. Pull back these. Have not seen them. They’re they have a copper feel, but they’re ceramic. They’re Mickey ears. $24.99. And then they have these. So, what they’ve done is they’ve combined they have a home series, which is home wear that has a Disney feel to it, but isn’t overwhelmingly Disney assault. They brought in the Halloween home stuff on top. So, that’s a great glass. It’s $20. It’s about $19.99 per glass. And then we do have what we have seen in the past. Those ears, which are fantastic. The candy dish, which is far too small for what we want to do. And then if you come over here, we’ll show you. They got the lug. They got the spare jersey. And they had this great basil hat. Last year’s baseball hat did not was was was not good. They’ve really corrected it. This shirt I I love and hate all at the same time. So, this shirt is your kind of standard kind of island shirt with the pumpkin heads of the Fab Five. It’s a little frightening, but done really well. So, I love and hate it all at the same time. We will not necessarily come home. We do have Stitch behaving himself cuz it is Halloween. He’s done so well in this movie. Wizard Mickey’s up there as well. We do not have the mini. Mini has been hard to find, but they do have is that wreath. Now, I’ll tell you, last year that wreath was the thing to have at your house. Couldn’t find it. It went out of We were there the day they released it at World Disney. It was gone inside of an hour and a half. It was the craziest thing I’ve ever seen. That baseball jersey is fantastic with the Mickey pumpkins there. And then obviously they had the 71 for when Disney World open. They’re fantastic Halloween spirit jerseys if you love the back of this thing. Has all the players. And this is something we haven’t seen other places. It’s a great tan hoodie. Donald, Pluto, Chip, and Dale on the sleeves. Goofy and Mickey are all on this. It is really a solid hoodie. We’ll put it back because we like our cast members. And so that’s that. Now we’ll come through here. And the two of the light up pumpkins Mickey and Minnie. Now these keychains we haven’t seen anywhere else. So this is new. We love this backpack. It’s just an awesome backpack. When that does go on sale, it will be coming home. Right. Lighted thing. Now look with the light thing. They had the mini ghosts. Mini ghosts are really very popular now. And what’s funny is we don’t see a lot of the mini ghost merchandise. I’ll tell you why. It’s sold out. We love this candy. It is your everything bar. Basically the pretzels and the candy corn and all the chocolate that you can have for $24.99 with a great metal tin. So that’s kind of a Halloween stuff. It has a good selection. Not overwhelming. But what this place isn’t Halloween as much as is Caribbean. So there you go. Here’s your Caribbean stuff. Here’s your Hawaiian shirt where it’s kind of cool. You have the large graphic on one side. Nothing on the other side. But the pocket with the embroidered. It’s not It’s embroidered. It’s a great shirt. And the back wraps around that other side. Wraps around the side. Love, love, love this mug. For me, it’s a little small for coffee. $16.99. Then you have the plastic mug with Mickey Island Adventures. It is just really done well. Then obviously the companion shirt to the guy was the girl shirt with Mickey. Obviously, it’s still kind of left on the left side of the shirt. Couldn’t be on the upper pocket. And these are probably the most unique ears we’ve seen. There’s they’re almost you almost miss the fact mini Mickey ears, mini ears cuz of the flowers. Awesome. And then really just a great loud fly, which you will not find anywhere else, but here we have looked. It’s the only place to find it. They do continue to have a ton of Stitch merch because Stitch rocked it with the movie and so he’s still here. They got the two Stitch Lounge Flies and a hat we’ve never seen which is really kind of a cool little hat. The different phases of Stitch which very unusual to see him that quiet. A great mug which is deep enough for my coffee. And then they have been started using these oversized bag they have here. We’ve seen them everywhere. That backpack is great. They have brought in an adult set. So, you do have all the kind of floral big floral prints and all that. And a great set of bags. They got kind of that tan leather bag with Mickey Mouse embroidered on the leather, which is great. And then it keeps going on. Now, over here, we do have t-shirts. A number of them are the Halloween shirts. And then here, then you do have more of that upscale. This is more of the adult section. This is kind of the upscale spirit jersey. You got the the dark blues, the purples, and the and the golds. Beautiful stuff. Really, really, really done well. This rugby shirt, if we actually lived up north, I’d have to have one, but it is far too warm down here to do it. And then they do have the very traditional. Now, what I love is if you look at either end of this, this over here is the front of me that shirt. It is a great monochromatic spirit jersey. Very adult, very subtle, very well done. And then they do have the tennis skirt with Walt Disney World on it. Haven’t seen that in other places. And between you and I, everybody listening and watching that hat, that hat, that hat needs to come home with me. So, there’s all that. They have the little guys stuff in here with their little hats and little blankets and t-shirts or littles. Great socks. They had the Fab Five bath toys or pool toys and they do bring in all now they got Stitch’s little guy stuff all tucked in here. So we keep going through and then just more Little Guy Stitch stuff the Loungefly and then here is just continues with the t-shirts with Halloween but they have other stuff in here. Um the shirts here are really high quality really done well. Now, the t-shirts are 25 $25 each when you buy two. Otherwise, they’re $29.99 a shirt. Ouch. And then here’s the little girl stuff, which we love that Minnie actually has taken front stage. And then they do have their hats. Now, I’m a hat guy right now wearing my floor parks after dark visor, but if I were to go back, that would be another hat I’d have to get. And then they do have other lounge flies. We have seen many of these. This one actually had disappeared. I think it’s coming back, which is great. If you had the monochromatic um spirit jersey and that Loungefly, you would be like a ninja. They do have fantastic ears over here. Now, I’ll tell you honestly, have not seen these ears, which are very, very festive. And I would almost say Rapunzelike. Then you got your Moana ears, Tiana ears, Cinderella ears, Ariel ears. And we just can continue going through. But then they do have this stick here. So that’s a lot of the merch in the store. Now, if you keep going back through the store here, they have all your sodas and all your drinks and all your stuff in here. And of course, every merch store sells luggage. Why? Cuz we all buy too much when we’re here. Great mug selections in here as well. We love that. We are big, big, big fans of the pencil drawn mugs. We think that’s just a very neat style. Now I’m looking for it, but they don’t have it. We have one of our partners in crime is a Oh, real quick. Sorry. Let me point out this. This is the home collection we talked about in the front. It’s subtle. It’s Disney, but it’s not neon Disney. It’s not overwhelming Disney. It’s you got to notice this Disney. If you know it’s Disney, you see it’s Disney. So, that’s some of the Halloween she brought out. Let me come back to do your stuffies. Obviously, FabFire represented well. Stitch obviously and Angel represented well and they’re all in here. So that’s the store. But that my friends is just the start of what Caribbean beaches. Let’s head back out. So if you come out through the store through the side entrance here, Centertown Market is right here. Okay. So Centertown Market, there’s a grab and go here to our right. We’ll look at at the end. But right now, Santor Market has a very nice menu. Let’s see if I can zoom in for you guys. So, they have the hot sandwiches, the burgers, and Cuban sandwiches, and the impossible burger, pulled pork sandwiches, the m They have a mango barbecue. Well, I found one I had to get. So, it’s a great menu. Um, some standard fair, but they do upgrade with the mango glazed salmon. You can feel some of the Caribbean vibe in here. They really try to take that next level and specialize it. But for us, [Music] this would be where your order is there where that menu is. Then they would set up pickup. Now that is especially coffee pickup, which would be one of my favorite places. But then you pick your orders here, two and three. You make your order, you go to the window, and I think one of the things we’ve always commented on that has surprised us is the small size of the dining room here. It’s It’s big, but given the number of rooms here, it’s small. So, this is not necessarily your let’s eat in kind of place. We’re going to go out the side, exit here. Oh, wait, wait. I want to show you the grab and go. I forgot that. Hold on. So, it’s a grab and go section. Okay, so we dive in the grab and go. They have the pre-made meals over there. Don’t want to get anybody’s way. And then they do have all the pastries. And what’s great is because it is Halloween, you have the Mickey cinnon roll. Yes, the Mickey cinn roll with the orange glaze, your banana bread, the coconut strusel. Again, you have that piece in there. They do sell the pieces here. Warm. And thank goodness, the Mickey bars. Come back over the grab and go food. They do have is they do have the salads, they have the sandwiches. It all comes from the counter service we just were at. So, we just brought over here. So, you can grab this, not go through counter service. That’s that beast. Now, that’s the lobby. That’s the store. That’s the grab and go section. That’s the counter service. And we’re not done. So, we’re going out back. Just take this in. It is just a beautiful lobby. So, we’re going to go out now real quick. I want to show you a map. So this is what it looks like. Um we are down right there and then there’s all the place they have Trinidad and Barbados and Marne and then you come back around to Jamaica and Aruba. So that’s all here. Disney Riviera Resort is right there. Now this is a moderate resort. Disney Riviera Resort is a deluxe. Interesting. Look at the map. It’s all connected. Interesting because what they did to build Riviera is they took two lands out of Caribbean Beach, flattened them, cleared the land, and put that new deluxe hotel up on this. So, if you stay here, you can drive without exiting the property, you can drive over and see that, which is a beautiful Parisian inspired resort. Love it. Now, what’s great is Caribbean K here is an island that actually where they do the movies at night. Love it. And there’s a major Skyliner hub here that can take you to Art of Animation, Pops Century, over to Epcot, over to Hollywood Studios from here without having to hop on a bus. Skyliners are the best. So with that orientation, you come out from the lobby and you see kind of this whole feel. They have light lanterns and that, by the way, in the back, that gray building, that is the Riviera. That’s how close it is. It’s just really neat space. Now, it is overcast kind of day. Okay, we have not had lightning here, which is great. This is one of the best pools in all of Disney. The theming is great, but we’re not going right away. We’re going to show you the kids splash park. Now, I say this in a couple of videos, I’ll say it here. If I were to pick the top five splash parks in the entire Disney World, this would be on it. Theming on this is great. size is not fabulous, but the theming is really, really, really pretty itself. It is a pirate ship that has crashed, broken apart, and stuck on this reef. So, that’s where it is. That bucket that’s getting filled there at the top where the crow’s nest is, let me scoop a little bit. Now, that obviously is a crow. He’s going to fill and it’s going to dump. Now, I’m stalling a bit, but we won’t wait necessarily. There’s a gray slide. There’s a curvy in and close slide and then an open slide. Little guys are on. Love it. And what I love about Disney, just things like that. So on the suitcase lounges with the life things, they made the towels look like Mickey and Minnie. Love the detail. So had to show you guys that. And now, all right, it’s not going to go. We’re going to take out the pool now. I’ve stalled long enough. If you look straight ahead, a little high up on top of this screen, you’re going to see a skylliner. It cuts right through the property down the middle, but I want to show you this pool area. The pool area is really, really nice. Now, we’re not going the pool area. Camera’s in pool area. Okay, the bucky just jumped. If I only had patience, but this pool area is one of the best themed pool areas in all Disney. screams Pirates of the Caribbean. It is photo the best photograph. I’m actually taking a photograph of it. Has the best picture quality because of the tans and the browns and the reds and the blue water. Normally against a blue sky with the green palm trees. It’s just it’s beautiful. There’s a slide that you go up and then you slide down. They can shoot water out. There’s another little slide on either side. It is just a fantastic pool. So the pool itself is in a regular shaped pool. It’s 4 ft at one end, 3 ft at the other with little guys pulled to the left. It’s awesome. Now we’re going to keep going forward though. So as you get into it and then here we have banana cabana. Banana cabana is outside seating and it is really the kind of pool bar on steroids. It would be the nicest pool bar that Disney has as well. If you look up here, those are steel drums that they made lights out of. Love it. The lights over the bar are um whiskey balls or bottles. Love it. So, they really bring those kind of subtle themings in. The chairs have the ropes from the masks of the ship. It’s just done really well. Now, what they do as a table service is Sebastian’s. Sebastian’s is right next to Banana Cabanas. And Sebastian’s is kind of a higherend seafood Caribbean inspired meal. They have the oven roasted chicken with tamarred barbecue sauce. They had the the the pulled pork, moho pork with the mango, chili, rub beef. They have those those elements which really scream it. I mean the dessert here which by the way is amazing. Coconut pineapple bread pudding. They do that. Show you one more time. That is Riviera Resort. Quickly gives some spaces. That is the major hub for Riviera Resort Sky Skyliner. The hub for Caribbean Beach is behind there. So what ends up happening is if you go in the hub here and want to go to one of the parks, you have to take a short hop over to Caribbean Beach and then to the parks. That skylliner run takes you over to our animation and pop century which is just fun all itself. So what you get by staying here is you get access to Riviera Pop Century and our animation with a short really not hard to do process and two parks positioned really really well. So let’s keep walking. Now when we had looked at the map we talked about where they do the nighttime movies. It’d be right there. So that’s the island. We’re going to walk over real quick. So, the island at Korean Beach is in the middle of the waterway, which is it’s called Hourglass. Um, it’s there and it has we’ll take a walk. We’ll take a look. So, we’re walking kind of next to it. And then if you look straight ahead, those are what some of the island chain houses look like and places. They’re really done very tropical. The colors are fantastic. They all have beaches that go up against it. Now, there is netting and fencing there for safety cuz of alligators. You’re in Florida. So, that’s there. But it’s all beautifully done. Really done. Now, remember, if you’re here, because you’re on Disney property, you get early access to the parks. They haven’t taken that away. Haven’t changed that, which is awesome. This is called Caribbean K cuz you’re on now an island. This is CR Caribbean K Playground is down this way. What they have here, which is not the playground, is a fantastic set of hammocks and area. But now, if we keep coming down this way, the view here is great. They put these cannons in here that they’re more symbolic. They don’t do anything, but it really those kind of small elements they do here, which is really, really, very neat. Straight across, you’ll see another set of those houses, islands, chain um buildings. And here real quick, this is where the movies are done. So at night, they put inflatable screen over here by the sidewalk. Beep. And then you sit there in nice comfy chairs. Yes, they give you chairs and you can watch your movies here every night when there is not a storm this time of year. That happens a lot. Today is Saturday. So here’s the movie thing. And guess what? No, today’s Tuesday. Hocus pocus is tonight. So, we can get there. The other thing that happens on every resort, including this one, is they do s’mores. So, they open fires and fire pits and they do s’mores. Now, here’s their playground. [Music] And they snuck in a gator. So, the playground is done really well. It’s a nice climbing area and all that. They have sails over top of the plastic. In Florida, that plastic gets incredibly hot and literally can burn the little ones. What’s great about this island is there are paths that meander. Nothing’s really straight. It curves around, so you kind of get lost in here. If you cut your kids loose here and say, “Don’t leave the island.” They could run around here forever and just have a ball. So, we shoot over this real quick. You keep come around. They have these little lookouts. It’s really kind of cool. So, we’ll cut through out here. So, off the beaten path, which is where Florida Parks After Dark goes regularly. This is still on the island. You come down now. You got the beautiful p flowers, very picturesque over the water. And they have things like this, which is just tucked in here. You would miss this every trip you came here, unless we showed you, which we are. You can sit here and just look out over the water. A great little cabana. I mean, not cabin, a little place to sit. Gazebo, that’s what I’m looking for. And it just keeps looping around. So, we’ll keep going around the circle. So, there again is one of their beaches and their water area. And right now, the Skyliner has stopped. Quick tip, Skyliners are not air conditioned. So, they do have air vents, so air does circulate since they’re constantly moving, but in times like that when they’re not moving, it can get kind of toasty. So, with that said, just take that under advisement. Montreals are air conditioned. Bus is obviously air conditioned. Minivans are obviously air conditioned. Skylander is not. Just a heads up. Here’s a great view of the island we’re on and across the pool there. we just saw. So, we’re going to walk back over towards the lobby section. Um, wanted to make sure we showed you this cuz this is really just such a neat space. And I think what catches me about the island is the lushness and the foliage that’s on this this man-made space in the middle of the the waterway. Um, they did such a nice job. It’s it’s gives you a lot of shade. A lot of color, a lot of kind of vibrance. It’s really done well. Crossing the bridge now. Cross our water. Another look at Rivera Deluxe Resort. Peeking around until I see a gator. I’ll show you that. So, we’re going to start walking back towards lobby section here. So, we’re going to walk all the way back around past Sebastian’s. Now, remember, we were just here. This is Banana Cabanas right next to Sebastian. What’s neat is we’re actually over the water walking. This This is kind of cool. They have really neat lighthouse there and they do have boats. Now, they are not for rent. the boats. They go out and do stuff in the water. They used to rent boats out here. They don’t do that anymore. And this is back to where the lobby section. It kind of spraws out where the dining room is and all that. They make it look much like a small town. They have great night lights out here. They have lights. So, it gives that warm festive vibe out here. We’ll circle back towards the lobby. And there’s just a great demonstration of where everything lays out. It is big and awesome. So with that said, we are back at the lobby. This is Beach Resort for Disney. This is a modern resort. Has a lot to offer anybody who comes here. Access to a number of different resorts and parks. Easy transportation options. Food is solid. theming is great. Pool’s outstanding. Even the splash park’s great. Really feel this is a great option for you to come. Price-wise for moderate, it’s a little on the not higher end, but you can get some really solid deals here as well.
