ONE DAY IN TOKYO JAPAN | Shibuya Sky, Shibuya Scramble, Harajuku, Shinjuku, Maiji Jingu and GODZILLA
Hey, everyone. I’m Mark from Travelshorts.
This is my daughter Holly. That’s my son, Matthew. And today is the ninth day of our epic
Japan trip, and we’re going to spend it exploring Tokyo. Our hotel last night was
the Asakusa View Hotel. It’s in a great location in the Asakusa
area here in Tokyo, right by the station. But the best part is, do you want
to see this view out of our window? There we go. We’ve got the Tokyo skytree over there. We’ve got the Sensoji Temple by there,
and we’ve got Japan’s oldest theme park just by there. And that’s going to be the first spot
that we’re to visit this morning just to have a little look around. Apparently, I know it’s not a very big
area, but apparently it’s got a roller coaster from 1953 there. So we’re going to check that out now. So this is what our hotel
looks like from the outside. And you can see it’s probably one
of the tallest buildings in the area, which gives us that great
view of this Tokyo Skytower. We’ve arrived at the Theme Park. Well, I say Theme Park,
it’s a small amusement park. It looks like you’ve got to pay to go
in the park and then you pay per ride once you’re in there. And looking through the gate, they’re very
childish rides, if I’m completely honest. I don’t think we’re going to go in. I think we’re going to explore
Tokyo a bit more first. There is a roller coaster in here. Like I said, the oldest roller
coaster in Japan from 1953. But there’s a sign saying
that’s not operational today. I think it says that. There’s a picture of the roller
coaster and like an X. So It doesn’t look like the roller
coaster is working today. So I don’t think we’re
going to go in here. There’s no point in paying to go in and then
pay per ride once we’re in there just for some children’s rides. So I think what we’re going to do now is
go to Asakusa Station, or I should be saying Asakusa, actually,
because it’s written Asakusa, but this area is called Asakusa. Get on the subway and head to Shinjuku,
which I think Shinjuku area will be the first place we’re
going to be visiting today. Okay, small change of plan. We’re not going to go to Shinjuku first. We’re going to go to Shibuya first. We do have tickets for Shibuya Sky at 1:00, and it is still a couple of hours to go.
It’s 11 o’clock now. We decided after spending nine days
of really hard travel around Japan so far, really tired, we decided to have
a little bit of a lie in today. And just today is all about relaxing,
walking nice and leisurely to various sites around the city. So other than Shibuya Sky, booked
at 1:00 today, we have no set plans. I have a few things in my head that I want
to go and visit, but we’ll just take it easy and walk the streets around Tokyo. So to get to Shibuya today, we’re going
on the Ginza Line from Tawara Marachi Station. It’s a seven-minute walk
from where we are here. So the closest station
is right by here, which is Asakusa Station. We’re not going to get on that one because
we decided to walk those extra few minutes so we can get on a direct
subway all the way to Shibuya, rather than changing halfway along the way. Please wait behind the yellow line. We’ve arrived at Shibuya Station. That took a little over 30
minutes on the Ginza line. Now, we’re going to find the exit,
which is going towards the Shibuya Scramble,
because obviously, if you’re in Shibuya, you’ve got to go to that iconic
Shibuya Scramble where everybody is crossing the road at one point. Up to 3,500 people might cross
the road at one time. So that’s where we’re heading first. We’re then going to look around the area
before coming back and going on Shibuya Sky at one o’clock. So we’re at Shibuya Scramble Crossing,
the place where people around the world come to cross a road, because
in essence, that’s what it is. But while you’re in Tokyo,
you’ve got to come here and you’ve got to cross the road for some reason. But we’re going to head across as soon as
the lights go green towards the Starbucks building, Opposite. That was it. We crossed the road at Shibuya Scramble. Matthew has just seen a Star Wars pop-up
store on B1, so we’re going to head over to that. What did you think about
crossing a road, Holly? Busy
yeah. This death star, it is actually made out of stone by the look of it, is £850. Wow. The same for the Holocron
jedi thing here. What’s that made of? 850 pounds. This Darth Vader artwork there is approaching £11,000, £10,779. Wow. It’s a made to order item,
available in 2-3 months. I know Darth Vader
yeah. It’s not just Darth Vader.

i don’t know what that means. Well, I would have said that’s Boba Fett,
but it’s probably the mandalorian because he’s holding the sword.
I can’t see it. Yeah.
That’s what’s his face. The new one what?
Andor. He was that, yeah. And that’s Asoka. That was the pop-up Star Wars store here
in Shibuya, just outside Shibuya Scramble. Holly’s seeing a magnet store
that she wants to go to. We’re going to have a look in there now. Want a photo in there, Holly? When I say Holly wants to go to a magnet
store, I don’t mean a store that sells magnets. It’s actually a mall
over there called Magnet. What, Holly? When you see which floor
has the Labubu. Okay. Popmart, floor one.
So this floor? Want to go out of one then? We’re just going to explore
this area a little bit more. We’ve still got another 30 minutes
before we got to go on Shibuya Sky. Like I said, it’s a timed
entry for Shibuya Sky. We’re going to be there
between 1:00 and 1:19. If we miss that slot after 1:19,
we won’t be allowed to go in there. We’re now looking for another shop
for Holly called Parko because it has characters and she’s hoping
it’s got some Labubu. Labubu. Okay, loving looking for the Labubu. That’s the first time we’ve
seen a Burger King during our… Oh, what’s that?
No, please. Pickleball burger. When we saw a Burger King yesterday. We didn’t see a Burger King yesterday.
Yeah. What?
You saw one. I didn’t see one.
Where? Yesterday, when we went to the sky… Tower. Yeah, we went to the Sky Tower in that
same building, like on the side to the… Okay. We’re just walking along these narrow
streets, looking for Holly’s Parko place. Information. Floor five.
Yeah. Okay, let’s go to floor five. If they’re over 80, you have to. While we’re going up on the escalator,

and Matthew because there’s a Nintendo store and also a Capcom store up there. It looks really busy on this floor. We’re going to the Nintendo Store first. Had a very quick look around the Nintendo Store. Now we’re going to look
at the Capcom store. Okay, this is the geek shop. I have no idea what the things are. We’ve got Godzilla as well. I think that’s going to end our short
time here at the Parko Shopping Centre. It’s approaching our time entry
for Shibuya Sky, so we’re going to walk over there now. So that’s the Shibuya Sky Building
right there. Ready, Holly?
I’m actually quite Excited. If you’re interested in tickets for this

for tickets available at the time when I booked this place. It can only be booked two weeks
in advance, so they literally become available. They almost sell out straight away.

Should we go up? So we made it to the top of Shibuya Sky. Like I mentioned, I got
these tickets from trip.com They only become available on all
the platforms two weeks in advance, so you’ve really got to snap
them up straight away. If you want the sunset tickets,
they literally go within a few seconds of them becoming available on any website. The Shibuya Sky official website, trip.com, getyourguide.com, Klook.com, Viator, all those,
they just disappear within a few seconds for those sunset tickets. Before coming today,
well, before two weeks ago, I went around all the different websites
you could actually purchase the tickets from, and the cheapest one was trip.com. Only by a few pence,
but every little helps. So if you are interested in purchasing
your tickets for Shibuya Sky in advance via trip.com I’ll leave a link in the description
down below, or you can scan this QR code on the screen now, and it’ll take you
directly to the Shibuya Sky page on trip.com so you can look for more information. And if you want your photograph
in the very corner, you have to queue up in the rather long line. Do you want to maybe
have an official photo? So we just had an official photo taken over in the corner there. I think it’s 1,500 for a photo. We pick it up on a 45th floor
in about 30 minutes time. But take a look at it.
If we like it, we’ll buy it. If we don’t, we won’t. We’re now resting on these
rope hammock things, where everybody comes in to take
a photograph of themselves by the look of it. It’s a very hot day today in Tokyo, as you
can probably see, the sun is blazing down. Beautiful blue skies. Such a difference to yesterday. Yesterday, it was raining all day. We got our fingers crossed
that the weather will be like this tomorrow because we’re going to Hakone to see Mount Fuji. And obviously, you need blue skies to see Mount Fuji. So let’s keep our fingers crossed for that. We think we found the only
shade here on the rooftop. Just there’s a slight wall by here. Sun’s in that direction. We have got literally
about a foot and a half of shade. But it’s welcome because it
is really hot here today. Now we come to another area to sit down. From here, you can see the Tokyo Tower just over there. If we go over to the left,
there’s the Tokyo Skytree right ahead of us. That’s where our hotel is,
just over by there somewhere. One thing I have noticed here
as well, there’s no signs. You normally have signs saying West,
these are the buildings you can see, East, these are the buildings you can see. There’s nothing like that at all. It’s very minimalistic. It just glass all the way round. What do you think of it up here, Holly? It’s tall.
It’s tall. It’s right on the very top is the Holly
pad with some fake astro-turf below it. Yeah, Holly pad. You’re sitting here,
not a helipad, it’s Holly pad. So H for Holly. So that was it. We’ve finished at the
Shibuya Sky Building. We’re going to take a look
at the photographs to see if we like the look of it, whether to purchase it or not. And just like every tourist attraction
on Earth, there is a souvenir shop just as you leave. Do you want a Shibuya sky shot glass? It looks like you might be able
to see Mount Fuji in this direction. But I don’t think you can today. I think that’s a cloud formation
going up by there, not Mount Fuji. Unless we pretend that is Mount Fuji. That’s our photograph. I think we’ll have to get it because it’s
good to have a shot of all three of us together without me
just holding the camera. So did you enjoy that, Holly? Yeah.
Yeah? Well, Well, that was
the Shibuya Sky Building. Really good place to go. Really recommend it. Even if Instagramers who do those five
generic poses every time do annoy you spending about five minutes in one
location stopping you going into that one location, especially
in the corners of the building. But, we were up there for about an hour and a half in total,
so we had plenty of time to relax, take all the photos we needed. And now we’re going to head over
to the Harajuku area, where we’re going to have a look around there. It’s near Takashita Street. You got to be very careful
how I say that word. And also the Meiji Jingu Shrine
is in that region. Once we finish there, we’re going
to keep going north to Shinjuku. We’ve just seen a sign
saying Taito Station. If you’re not familiar with Taito,
they are the creators of Space Invaders, one of the original arcade games. I can remember playing that as
a very, very, very young kid. So we thought we’d take a look at it
just to see what it’s all about. Look its crazy busy. Is that actually, like a betting game.
Yeah. Virtual horse racing. Okay, that was the Taito Game Station. Really quick tour in there. We didn’t really see any games we wanted
to go on, so we’ll carry on walking to Harajuku area. Okay, we’ve seen there’s
a Kura sushi along the way. That’s a conveyor belt restaurant. We went to one in Osaka
about a week ago. Really enjoyed it. We’re going to take a look at this one. Hopefully, there won’t be
a long line to actually get in. In Osaka, it took over
an hour to get seated. Fingers crossed because it’s after lunch,
but before dinner, they might be only a small wait to get in. Unfortunately, that isn’t
going to be happening. To get a seat at the booth was
a two and a half hour wait. So we simply don’t have enough time
to wait around for that, obviously. So we’re going to keep
walking to Harajuku. Shibuya Cross FM radio station in there. So a few years ago, you could actually get dressed up as Mario and Luigi to go
on those Mario Kart around Tokyo City. But then they were sued by Nintendo
for copyright infringement or trademark infringement. So now they get classed as
Super Hero Karting, and that’s how they get around it. So when you go and get tickets for cars
like that, you have an option to pay extra and get dressed up as a superhero of your
choice, Batman, Superman, et cetera. Just no Marios, no Luigi’s. It’s such a shame because a few years ago
when we were actually coming to Japan originally,
I was thinking about doing something like that, but it would have been awkward
with Matthew and Holly because you do need to show an international driving licence. But I’ve got an international
driving licence. These two obviously haven’t. So I probably wouldn’t have been able
to do it anyway because I don’t like leaving Matthew and Holly
behind on anything I do. Anyway, so we’re still walking
down the road towards Harajuku. I think it’s about a 20-minute
walk from Shibuya to Harajuku. We’ll be coming back
there shortly for Holly. We made it to Harajuku. I think the priority is going to be
getting something to eat because it’s getting on now. It is 3:25, and we still
haven’t eaten apart from our breakfast. We’re going to have a look at how we would
like to do some sushi conveyor belt sushi restaurants as well. There is another kura
sushi ahead of us here. Keep our fingers crossed that there
isn’t that much waiting time. Well, for it is we’re going there,
we’re getting a reservation, and then we will come back out and walk
around Harajuku a little bit. But I think we’re going to be unlucky
because look at the amount of people that’s here. It’s absolutely chock-a-block. It’s more people here than
there was on Shibuya Scramble. Let’s keep our fingers crossed. It’s not going to be very long. That’s a bit of luck. They’ve estimated 15
minutes for a seat. I’m really happy about that compared
to two and a half hours down the road. Yeah, like Matthew said,
compared with two and a half hours down the road of the previous one, this one
must be a totally different set up here. It must be huge because there’s lots
of people waiting already and for us to go in in 10 to 15 minutes time. Matthew said it did mean today, but yeah,
we’re going to hopefully be seated between 3:40 and 3:50. Our number is 423,
and it’ll be called up on that screen over there when we’re ready. Table 36 So we’ve come to our seat. We’re in booth number 36. You can see the conveyor belt behind us
here, but we’re going to order things on this iPad. But before we do, oh Matthew
is just getting some condiments. Before we do, I’m just going
to show you the table set up. So below us here, we have… Actually, I’ll pass the camera
to Matthew, might be a bit easier. So below us here in the table,
we’ve actually got a selection of soy sauces,
pickle ginger or Pickled Onion, and the various things that we should be
putting on our sushi in that first thing here. Then in the second one,
Is where we get our chopstix, if we need a spoon, and some toothpicks,
and a bottle opener if we’re getting a bottle of beer. And then to actually order, it’s done
by this iPad in front of us here. So, Matthew, do you
want to start ordering? So it’s on English. Yes, we would like to play. And we want to guarantee a win. So above us here,
there is prizes for the amount of tickets when you put your used plates in there.

Let’s have a look at that. We got here quite a big, extensive selection of a lot of things here. Sushi rolls lots and lots of things. So I think we’re going to start ordering. And once our food starts to arrive,
I’ll start filming again so you guys can see what we’ve ordered. We ordered our drinks first,
and Holly’s popcorn chicken because she doesn’t really like sushi. Now, Matthew is ordering his. Oh, here’s Holly’s popcorn chicken. Can you get that, Matthew?
Oh, Holly can get it. There’s Holly’s first
order of popcorn chicken. There’s not much there. They do my favourite one then. Yeah. Order what you want then.
Yeah. Okay. Okay, so this bottom row is to help
yourself, so you can choose whichever one you want. And the top one is where
your specific orders come. There’s Holly’s fruit smoothie
or was it a strawberry smoothie? Fruit. Is our first order of drinks. So this is Matthew’s tuna roll. There’s Matthew’s second plate. Here’s my first plate. Here’s two more. Okay, so let’s just put a bit
of soy sauce on the plate. And this is the tuna. Oh, it’s falling apart. It’s Nice. It’s good. They’re falling apart a bit, but… The tempura shrimp is
really nice on these. Has you other popcorn come yet. Don’t think I’ve ever had beef
on sushi before, or beef sushi. Let’s try. It’s okay. I do think seafood works better, though. And that is Holly’s Mac and Cheese burger. Oh, yeah, got a gift. I recognise him but I don’t know who he is. Oh, yay, this one is on plate.

person on table 40. Matthew’s dessert, chocolate cake. Holly’s dessert. What was it, jelly? Yeah, jelly and fruit. This is what I got for dessert. It’s a banana and chocolate crepe. There we go. We have 22 plates. Twenty-two plates?
Wow. This is everything that we ate. So we had 1, 2, 3, 4,

of those gacha pongs up there. Every five plates gets one
try in the competition. And I think, Matthew, you going to go

dessert, Holly had Mac and cheeseburger, popcorn chicken, and all of that came to just over 6,800 ¥, which is around £35. I think that’s an absolute
good deal, wasn’t it? For all of us to eat that amount of food. Anyway, we’re going to keep walking. We’re going to look around Harajuku area. Can we go down?
Okay, there’s a conveyor belt. We’re going to keep walking. We’re going to go around
the Harajuku area. We’re then going to
go to the Meiji Jingu Shrine, then Takashita Street, and then
we’re going to continue walking up. Oh, it looks like it’s raining. We have waterproofs? No, we haven’t got our waterproofs today. And then we’re going to continue up
to Shinjuku area, that’s an area I’m really looking forward to seeing. There’s a billboard with a Calico
cat on it, and we have a Calico cat. So who want to see that Calico
cat on the billboard? Keep going down these escalators
to the ground floor and walking around. It gave sun all day with a bit of cloud. World’s most famous guitar, Fender. I don’t think I’ve ever seen… Well, not that I don’t think, I know. I’ve never seen a Fender guitar
store anywhere in the world before. So this is Takeshita Street. And aside from its humorous name,
it’s where the pop culture in Japan is centred here. So this is where you see people dressed
up with all the latest fashions or maybe manga creations. It has changed in the last few years. It’s more commercialised and touristy now. But we’re going to walk along here,
see what it looks like, go in some of the stores,
just basically take our time, enjoy ourselves, looking at the sites. Holly is a big fan of Squid Game,
even though she shouldn’t be because she’s very young. But they serve those cookies
that they have in Squid Game here. Dalgona.
La what? Dalgona.
Okay, yes, they serve those. Dalgona.
So we’ve got one. When we go back to the hotel
later, she can try it. It comes with a little pin
to actually try and do it.. Thank you. So tanghulu is one of your
favourite foods, isn’t it? Micro Pig Cafe. I really don’t I agree with those places where
they exploit animals for profit. So that was Takeshita Street. Very commercialised. Lots of shops selling
what I describe as Tat. But Holly got a squid game cookie,
and also both of them got tanghulu. So that’s a bonus. They both like Tanghulu,
especially Holly. Tanghulu is one of her favourite food. In fact, when we went to China,
that and the Xi’an burger was probably your favourite food. We’re now going to walk over to the
Meiji Jingu Shrine, which is only about a five minute
walk from Takeshita Street. We’ve just got across these train tracks,
and it’ll be the other side in that park over there behind the trains. Now we’re going to walk through the woods,
well, a little bit of forested area to get to Meiji Jingu Shrine. I think this is the second most
important shrine after Sensoji in Tokyo. These are barrels of sake. And this side is wine, Bourgogne wine. We have made it to Meiji Jingu Shrine. That took about 10 to 15 minutes once we
actually entered the forest area to actually get to the
Shrine itself behind me here. We passed what, one, two, three Tori gates
in total as well to get here. I think we’re going to leave
Meiji Jingu Shrine now and head towards Shinjuku to save a bit of time because
it’s about a 35 minute walk from where we are here. We’re going to go back
to Harajuku Station, which is about a 12 minute walk,
get on the Yamunote Line and go all the way to Shinjuku Station. It’ll just save a little bit of time.
It’s getting on now. I think it is, well,
it’s 6:15, so it’s coming up to the end of the day,
and I still don’t feel like we’ve done that many things. But today was going to be
a relaxing day from the onset. Like I said at the beginning of this
video, this is the ninth day of our trip around Japan, and I think fatigue is
starting to catch up with us a bit. Not only was I ill for the first… Well, I’m still am ill a little bit. For the first half of this trip,
and then a few days after that, I was completely zonked everywhere we went. I think I picked something up off
the plane on the way out here. While we’re walking to the train station,

now here at the Meiji Jingu Strine. The Harajuku station should just be
on the left-hand side here, and then we’ll catch the Yamunote Line
all the way to Shinjuku station. And this is the line that we want,
the Yamunote Line platform 2 towards Shinjuku, Ikebukuro, and Uweno. And there’s a lot of people going there. So we just missed that one, But there should be another
one around in two minutes. We’re just going to take this
two stops to Shinjuku Station. We’ve arrived in Shinjuku Station,
the busiest train station in the world. Over 3 million people can pass
through these doors in a single day. We are heading to the east exit. We want B13 because that’s where you come out to see the 3D Calico cat on the billboard. Here we go.
Oh, it’s for this character. So that was the famous Calico cat
on the billboard here in Shinjuku. We’re now going to walk up the street here
to Kabukicho, I think it is, to see the Godzilla building. Godzilla is on the side of a building. It’s on the side of a hotel,
the hotel Gracery. I looked if we could actually be in that
hotel this trip, but they’d run out of family rooms when I
went to book it, which is why we’re in the hotel we’re at now. The calico cat looks like our cat. So this street that we’re walking down now
is affectionately known as Godzilla Street. And as soon as I turn the camera
around, you’ll see why. Can you see him? There is a full-size
Godzilla on the side of that hotel. Here’s the Godzilla building,
otherwise known as the Hotel Gracery. We did try to get some rooms here for our
trip here in Tokyo, but unfortunately, when I went to book this whole holiday
about a month ago, there was no availability for family rooms
there because we need triple beds, obviously, because it’s three of us. But if you do stay here on the very top
floor, it won’t go because I’m being facetracked by my camera. But on the very top floor, I think it’s
floor 34, that is the Godzilla-themed floor,
which means you’re room is themed like Godzilla. You got Godzilla posters on the wall. You got Godzilla bedsheets, pillow cases,
and everything else. I think there’s even some
comic books in there as well. But the Godzilla you see there?
Where is he? There.
You can actually walk out to. There’s a restaurant on that floor. And if you go to that restaurant,
you’re able to walk out and see the Godzilla building. Sometimes it’s closed, sometimes it isn’t. But yeah, I really would have liked
to just stay in there just because of the uniqueness of it. And also you’re in the heart of Shinjuku,
and the view from your room would be Kabukichou. This area we’re in here, which is
very bright, very neon light, It’s very stereotypical what you think
of when you think of Japan, the non-traditional side of Japan,
the modern Japan, you think of all these neon lights, loud music. Anyway, we’re going
to move on from here now. We might go to Don Quixote because they
have Don Quixote on the end of the street there. I wouldn’t mind just getting a drink
from somewhere as well, Starting to get a bit thirsty. Then we’re going to go to the municipal
government building because at night, when it starts to get dark, there’s a free
light show on the side of the building. It’s also a free observation
building as well. You go right to the very top,
but I think that closes at night, so we’re not going to look at that. Anyway, I think, shall we
carry on walking around? Yeah. Are you ready to carry
on walking around, Holly? Yeah, I think we’re going to go
for a look inside this Don Quixote. okay, do you want them? Okay. Well, that took longer than
expected in Don Quixote. It was absolutely packed in there. One benefit of spending more than
5,500 ¥, in a store like that, you can go to the tax-free counter
and not pay tax on your purchases. What they do, they do wrap it
up and potentially, if you’re in the airport, if they ask you,
you’ve got to show that they’re still wrapped. But everything we bought, tax-free, were
for souvenirs that we are taking home. If we did buy some drinks, we did have
to pay full price for that with tax. Shall we cross the road? Yeah, let’s go. What are you laughing about? So I think I said we were planning to go
to the Tokyo Municipal Government Building, which is in this area that has
projections onto the façade of the building. It looks really nice,
but we do have a very early morning tomorrow because we’re going
to Hakone to, hopefully, fingers crossed, see Mount Fuji. And that involves taking an early train
from Shinjuku Station in the morning. So I think we’re going
to head back to our hotel. It’s 7:50,
which I know in the grand scheme of things isn’t very late,
but we’re really tired and exhausted from our nine solid days
of touring around Japan so far. So we’re going to head
back to Shinjuku Station. Get on the subway. I think the Yamunote Line is going
to go all the way to Akihabara. Then we’re going to change Akihabara. I’m going to to Tsukuba Express all the way
to Asakusa station, where our hotel is. We’ll see you when we get to the station,
unless theres something nice to see along the way. He’s gone past the escape lunatic
from the mental asylum again. He’s really scary. It’s scary, yeah. Okay, I was wrong earlier. So when I said the Yamunoto Line. The most straightforward one to take is
the Odio Line, and then we meet up with the Tsukuba Express. So this is what we’re
going to be doing now. Shinjuku, Nijuki Station,
all the way to Shin Okamaki Station. Elevator Tsukuba Express Well, we’ve arrived at Asakusa station. All we’re going to do now,
we’re just going to pop to a convenience store and get ourselves some snacks,
something nice and cool to take back to the room. Then we will go back to the hotel. I would say, again, early night, but it’s 8:45 now so we’re not going to be back
in the hotels until after nine o’clock. Then we’re going to prepare ourselves
for our day to go to Hakone and Mount Fuji tomorrow,
get everything packed ready because it’s an early morning. And we’re going to be moving hotels
tomorrow as Well, we’re heading
to the Disney Celebration Hotel tomorrow, which means we’ve got to pack all our
luggage and use a luggage transportation service to take our bags to the new hotel
rather than just leaving them at the concierge, then coming back to our
hotel tomorrow evening, picking them up and then going
on the subway and the train network all the way to Disney carrying our luggage. So I think it costs about £25 to 27
pound to ship two suitcases same day. I’d rather pay that money than
struggle with two cases along the way. No, I said I like
the banana in smoothies. And thats our Hotel, we’re almost there. Well, we’ve made it back to the room. We’re all really tired, so I think

We start our tour of Tokyo Japan at our hotel the Asakusa View hotel in Asakusa before walking to Asakusa Hanayashiki the oldest amusement park in Japan.
We then catch the subway to Shibuya and after walking across the iconic Shibuya Scramble we visit a popup Star Wars Shop.
We then head to the top of the Shibuya Sky building, a 360 degree observation deck located on the roof of a skyscraper overlooking the Shibuya Scramble.
We then start walking around Shibuya exploring the shops and visit the Nintendo Store, Capcom Store and Pop Mart, before getting lunch at Kura Sushi a conveyor belt sushi restaurant that we all really enjoyed.
We then walk over to the Harajuku area and walk down Takeshita Street and then visit the Meiji Jingu Shrine, a Shinto Shrine in Shibuya.
We then catch the Tokyo Subway to Shinjuku were we go shopping in Don Quixote and visit the Godzilla building on Godzilla Street before heading back to our hotel stopping at a 7-Eleven along the way for our dinner.
