晚上不睡覺!京都夜晚景點推薦🍻叡山電車夜景、深夜咖啡廳、深夜拉麵店、京都景點、京都必去|日本旅遊・吉田社長Japan TV
Hi everyone, I’m Minmin from “Happy Shopping! Japan.” Hi everyone, I’m Fumi from “Happy Shopping! Japan.” After a year , we’re finally fulfilling our promise. Today, we’re filming Kyoto at night. It’s around 5:00 PM now , so we’re planning to depart from Kyoto Station and continue our journey until midnight. Let’s see what Kyoto attractions are worth visiting at night. I believe everyone who comes to Japan must find it very daunting, as Taiwanese people are night owls and love to stay up late. However, in Japan, many stores close at 8 or 9 PM, leaving you unsure about where to go at night. This time, we’ve planned a series of attractions, including food spots and shopping spots , so you can still enjoy the city of Kyoto. Let’s get going! Let’s go have dinner! GO! Our first stop was Kyoto Tower, which is opposite Kyoto Station. Kyoto Tower has an observation deck, so everyone knows that you can see the night view from here. Unfortunately, the last admission to the observation deck is 20:30. However, there is a food court on the first floor underground called “KYOTO TOWER SANDO” , which means “Kyoto Tower Sando”. The shops here are open until 23:00 , so we highly recommend that after shopping outside, you can come back to the front of Kyoto Station to have a delicious midnight snack at the food court of Kyoto Tower . You may think, hey! We finally came to Kyoto, so why would we eat at the food court? Actually, there are many exquisite shops at the food court of Kyoto Tower. You can eat yakiniku, sushi, ramen and even matcha here. The yakiniku shop we have chosen now is also quite famous. We are now at a shop called “Kyoto Yakiniku Hiro”. This shop has a history of about 20 years and has many branches in Kyoto , so the quality is guaranteed. They pay attention to buying a whole cow at a time, so the meat is fresh and the CP value is very high. In addition to the place we came to today, there is another branch at the station called “Yakiniku Hiro Shoten”. It is more like a traditional yakiniku shop, so if time permits, you can also go there to eat. Then I We came here today and it’s in the underground mall, so the emphasis is on fast and convenient grilling. Since we have a tight schedule, we need to fill our stomachs first so that we can have energy to play. So I ordered the Yakiniku Hiroshi’s signature chef’s special (お任せ) combination of five skewers, including diaphragm, beef tongue, beef belly, offal, seasonal vegetables, and the price is only 980 yen , which is super cheap. So we won’t say any more and start eating right away. I ordered their Wagyu Sukiyaki Rice Bowl, which looks super delicious. Look at the egg yolk , and I think the Wagyu grilled meat slices are big, which looks super delicious . There is also a lot of sauce on it, and the rice underneath has a little bit of the grilled meat sauce (the rice is delicious) (touched) It’s super delicious! In Japan, you really don’t have to worry about disappointing customers. Everything is delicious. Next, I’m going to eat my skewers. I’m eating beef belly now. I think their seasoning is very delicious , right ? It’s a sweet seasoning that is very flavorful but not too salty. And because eating barbecue actually takes a lot of time, if you have a schedule at night, you can eat this simple and quick one. It grills it all at once, you can eat it quickly and then go. I think it’s very convenient and I recommend it to everyone (delicious) . It’s very suitable for drinking. It’s so beautiful. Look, over there is the delta of the Kamogawa River . We just took the bus from Kyoto Station to Demachiyanagi Station. This is actually the starting station of the Eizan Electric Railway. There is also a very beautiful tourist attraction here, which is the delta of the Kamogawa River. There is actually a little legend about a turtle jumping in the Kamogawa River. I think it is also very beautiful. It’s so lovely now because the sun is finally about to set, so the weather is getting cooler. Many people are sitting on the rocks soaking their feet and enjoying the beautiful scenery. I think it’s very relaxing. I want to come here to soak my feet next time. That’s okay. The highlight of today is to take the Eizan Electric Railway. Let’s hurry up and get on with our journey. Okay, we’ve already taken the Eizan Electric Railway to Ninose Station. The Eizan Electric Railway actually runs between Kyoto and the Rakuhoku area in the north. There are several very famous attractions in this area, such as Ichijoji Temple . In addition, the Kifune Shrine is also very famous. In addition to these attractions, I think the most amazing thing is the scenery of the four seasons. Just looking at it from the inside of the carriage is amazing . Really~ After our experience just now, I really found it super beautiful. Every summer, it has a tunnel of fresh green at night. The light-up event is between July and August. Between Ichihara Station and Ninose Station, both sides of the railway track are actually covered with maple trees. These maple trees are very beautiful in both summer and autumn, especially when they are lit up at night. The train conductor is very considerate and will deliberately slow down the speed . In order to avoid interfering with our vision, he will turn off the lights inside the car first so that we can concentrate on the scenery outside the car. It is so beautiful that I want to sit back and forth and take pictures all the time. It is really touching. But in fact, it is the most amazing in autumn because there are maple trees planted all around, so in autumn it is a whole tunnel of red maple leaves. I decided to challenge this line again in autumn. If you continue to take the line, you can actually reach Kifune Shrine. Kifune Shrine is now At night, there will be special night lighting events, coupled with the beautiful sight of wishing sticks hanging on the trees during Japan’s Tanabata Festival. But today we decided to rush back to Kyoto city to show everyone around and eat some delicious food . We will wait here for the train to come back and take us back. Okay, we have just taken the train back to Kawaramachi. Speaking of Kyoto, everyone will definitely think of the most representative Kamogawa River in Kyoto. The Kamogawa River at night is also very beautiful. In addition, on summer nights, restaurants next to the Kamogawa River will set up riverbeds so that you can enjoy delicious Kyoto cuisine while enjoying the view of the Kamogawa River outdoors. We have also experienced this riverbed cuisine in the video we collaborated with Chairman LEO. If you are interested, you can go back and have a look. There is a slight cool breeze on the Kamogawa River on summer nights . So there are also many couples sitting here to enjoy the cool air and talk about love, etc. Everyone can also come and observe this special scene in Kyoto. So let’s seize the time while some stores are still open to visit Kawaramachi, the busiest street in Kyoto. Now we have come to Kawaramachi Street, the busiest street in Kyoto, and you can see that many stores are actually closed. It is around 22:00 now. Although this place is usually very lively and good to visit, there are popular electronic appliances like EDION and large stores like UNIQLO, but most of them are only open until 21:00, including my favorite KIDDY. There’s a Gikkawa store in LAND , but it’s only open until 21:00. But that’s okay. SUGI Pharmacy in Kawaramachi is open super late. They’re a drugstore that’s open until late at night. A little further up the same street is Don Quijote. Don Quijote is open until 25:00 , so if you want to go shopping, that’s fine. But our destination today is a late-night cafe in an alley. I’ve been looking forward to it for a long time, so I immediately asked Fumi to lead the way so we can go and have some late-night coffee. We’re now at this cafe , called ELEPHANT FACTORY Late-Night Cafe , and it’s very conveniently located. It’s actually on the main street of Kawaramachi, in a small alley opposite SUGI Pharmacy. In Taipei, there are actually a lot of places to go late at night , but in Japan, they’re relatively rare. In fact , there aren’t many late-night cafes in Japan, because Japanese people probably just drink in bars, go to izakayas, and so on at night. The one we visited today is actually open until 25:00. (Open super late) It’s a place where you can stay up late and drink coffee and latte. I’m really your paradise, minmin. They sell quite professional products. They have a lot of single-origin dark and light roasts. Today we ordered cafe au lait and black coffee. This place looks very impressive because they have a barista who grinds the beans on site. The price is on the high side. For example, the latte I ordered costs 1100 yen, but you can sit until 1 am in the middle of the night. It’s a good deal. If you live near Kawaramachi or you don’t want to go home after playing, I think you can come here. In addition, we also ordered this small cake, A piece of cheesecake. The homemade cheesecake is very small, but it looks very solid and dense. Now I’m going to start (✪ ω ✪ ) It’s super rich. This is no longer a cheesecake. It’s more like eating cheese blocks. The milky aroma is so fragrant, but if you are a little afraid of the cheesy taste, I think it might not be a good choice. It has a unique personality. Yes, it is a unique cheesecake. And I just saw on the menu that the coffee they use is coffee roasted in-house in Bihoro, Hokkaido. They deliver it twice a week. They are very persistent. The coffee beans are very strong. I think I might not be able to sleep and stay awake until 1 or 2 in the morning, but it should be fine. The dark roasted flavor is a mature taste. It is so strong that the beans feel a bit roasted. There is a charcoal aroma, like eating barbecue. It is very delicious. Heavy caffeine lovers really don’t miss this place. It ‘s amazing. This store is really a great store. I also like its interior decoration. It is small in scale and uses some antique-style furniture. I think the owner must be very unique . I recommend it! Okay, we just left ELEPHANT FACTORY. We just ordered a small cake, but my senior had already finished it, haha. I’m sorry because the cake was pretty small, so I decided to get another dessert. There’s actually a very unique dessert shop in Shijo Kawaramachi called “Eat Ice Cream at 9:00 PM.” This shop is actually quite artistic, both the decor and the soft serve ice cream are beautiful. I hope it’s delicious, too. I’m going to try it now. I didn’t expect there would still be a lot of people standing around eating there so late. And it’s conveniently located right across from SUGI Pharmacy. They’re open super late, until 11:30 PM or 9:00 PM. So this is what eating ice cream feels like. Oh my god, this one looks so girly . It looks so fresh ! No wonder there was a line just now. I think it’s quite popular with Europeans and Americans. It’s not only beautiful, I think it has a cute Japanese style . I ordered a very girly strawberry mille-feuille , which is perfect for you. There are so many flavors to choose from. I was a little overwhelmed at first, tears were about to flow. Let’s finish it quickly. Then I’ll have some . MY GOD, seeing you eating like this makes me want to rush in and buy one too. Okay, okay, okay, they also have matcha, warabimochi, strawberry daifuku, chocolate, and all sorts of other flavors. So that’s what it’s like to eat ice cream in the middle of the night. Mom doesn’t let you eat ice cream, but you can secretly eat it at night. It’s so delicious that you roll your eyes (very enjoyable). There are some crispy cookies underneath, and you can satisfy multiple tastes at once. And because I think the size is not very big, it’s just right as a midnight snack or a “Meipafe” sundae that ends the day perfectly. I’m going to finish it here now. A perfect day. Okay, now we’re at Nijo Castle. I wonder if everyone’s impression of these places of interest is that they are only open in the morning. Actually, Nijo The castle is currently having a night event called “Summer Lights” during July and August. It’s co-organized by a company called NAKED and Nijo Castle . They’re a very impressive company and have a lot of experience organizing these nighttime illuminations, so I’m personally looking forward to seeing what the lighting effects will look like when we get inside, along with the historical sites . So let’s go in and take a look. I just bought this super beautiful limited edition 2025 Reiwa 7th Year Limited Edition Summer Nijo Castle Talisman. Its design is actually a bit like a goshuin , but it’s transparent and shiny, so beautiful and has a very summery feel. It even has the date you entered the castle written on it. Wow, I just saw it now, not long after we entered, when we entered the souvenir shop. I found it really good for shopping and strolling , and there’s a small cafe next to it where you can have a sundae, drink beer, and cool off, etc. But everyone should pay attention that this souvenir shop is only open until 9 pm. If you want to go in and stroll around before leaving, you may have to be careful of its closing time. We are now going to enter Nijo Castle, and at the entrance just after entering, we saw a small stall for renting lanterns, which is super cute. Because many people choose to wear yukata to this summer Nijo Castle event, I think if you wear a yukata, renting this lantern will be very atmospheric and the photos will definitely be beautiful. There are three colors in total , and it costs 500 yen to rent one , and you can also use “Pay Pay electronic payment”, which is very convenient. The lantern is also designed. You can see the pattern underneath is projected like this, which is super beautiful, very Japanese and summery. But we didn’t wear yukata today, and we all had photography equipment in our hands today , so… save some money, OK OK, this colorful one over here is beautiful. There’s also a workshop here where you can try making your own things. But even if you make something here, you can’t take it home. It says “rental” so you still have to return it . It’s a bit sad and a bit reluctant to part with something you made yourself. You’d probably want to take it home , right? Yes, I really want to take it away. It seems to have appeared, yes , it has appeared . The lighting is beautiful, and the sound of cicadas is so atmospheric. Nijo Castle is divided into several different exhibition areas. The first one we’ll pass is the Firefly Trail . I heard that you can smell some fragrances as you walk by. Yes, it has some scented designs . Yes , it emphasizes all five senses . It ‘s beautiful ! I saw fireflies! Hey! It’s really beautiful! I feel so calm and cool. I don’t know what technology this is, but it’s so obvious now. The trees are twinkling like fireflies, so beautiful. We just walked along the firefly trail and immediately saw the inner mori of the inner city wall . I think it’s very creative. It projects some very summer-themed projections directly onto the inner city wall, using the entire city wall as a huge projection canvas. For example, we just saw the representative summer fireworks display , goldfish, morning glories , and summer boats. These are all must-see sights in Japan in the summer. I think it ‘s great that they use modern technology to project them onto this ancient city wall. Wow, as soon as we walked out, we saw the moon. It’s so beautiful. We are now at a place called Ninomaru Palace. It has been transformed into There are plenty of seats nearby , and there’s a pop-up shop selling summer-themed shaved ice. This location also has a design purpose. It’s based on the Kyoto-style kawabata (streamer bed) theme. There’s a tatami-style seat next to it, and the fog machine uses lighting and shadows to simulate the comfortable feeling of sitting on a kawabata (streamer bed) and enjoying the cool summer breeze. I can see it from a distance, and that’s one of the parts I’m most looking forward to. It’s actually designed to resemble the small stalls at Japanese summer festivals, with activities like darts and other small activities . It’s very girly, and the Kokoro-yaka flower god fortune -telling costs 500 yen. We just finished watching the Nijo Castle 2025 Summer Lights nighttime illumination show, which was super beautiful . I think it combines technology and visual lighting effects with historical sites . It has a unique flavor. This summer illumination event actually ends in mid-August, so you might be a little late when you see the video. But it doesn’t matter, because NAKED actually holds this type of light show at famous scenic spots in various places in spring, summer, and autumn . For example, they have previously held a cherry blossom event at Shinjuku Gyoen National Garden and an autumn maple event at Kiyomizu-dera Temple, so you can also pay attention to the relevant information. It’s 22:30 now. We just took the bus from Nijo Castle back to Kyoto Station, and then we found a great ramen restaurant on the north side of Kyoto Station. I am really looking forward to this ramen restaurant called “Kitada”. It is open until 23:30 in the evening and it is located just north of Kyoto Station, about a 10-minute walk away, so it is highly recommended. If you shop late and feel hungry, you can come to “Kita” to eat ramen. Don’t underestimate this restaurant. It is actually a famous restaurant with a long queue. It has a high score of 3.67 on Food Log and was selected as one of the “100 Famous Ramen Restaurants” in 2024 , so this restaurant should be quite famous. There are only 11 seats in the store , so usually you need to queue. It is now 22:30 and the store is still full of people. We are lucky that we just entered the store. Let’s start eating without further ado. Their most famous thing is the shellfish soup, so I just ordered the shellfish and beef soup base. The ramen is divided into soy sauce and salt flavors, and the noodles used are this kind of thin straight noodles . Because the noodles are a bit like Chinese ramen , it also comes with a wonton. The ingredients are very rich, so I started eating! It’s so fresh! The shellfish broth plus the beef broth is a perfect match and super delicious (so delicious that your eyes will light up!). It’s amazing . I ordered the giant clam flavor. Look at the giant clam (super huge). The broth base is also salty shellfish broth. I ordered the special one. In addition to the soft-boiled egg, the meat is doubled. In addition to this, I also ordered an extra bowl of rice called “Shigure Boiled Rice”. It is these shellfish with seaweed . The store owner just suggested that you can pour some broth on it and eat it together. It’s very special. I saw it for the first time and I couldn’t wait. Clams on clams. I took a sip of the broth first . It’s so delicious. It should be a bit like clam and chicken essence. It really has that kind of clam essence feeling , so I decided to try this Shigure Cooked Rice first. It ‘s very special. It’s a little different from the soup in that it tastes sweet, a bit like scallop soup. It looks super delicious, super delicious , and feels very nourishing. The fatigue of the business trip should be eliminated with this bowl . We are on our third and last day and we have to go back to Tokyo. It’s true that we are reluctant to leave, but before that, we have to eat at a restaurant that the president recommended to us before. This is Torataro Soy Milk Hot Pot , which is a hot pot with soy milk soup base. Tofu dishes in Kyoto are also very famous. This is also a famous tofu dish in the local area . Even It’s written on the subway signboard, and I think this is super cool. The way to eat it is quite special. Kyoto is very famous for its Kujo Onion. The pork used is pork from Kagoshima . I can’t wait to start eating it. And the best thing about this place is that the Kujo Onion is unlimited, so if you like onions and the sweet wild vegetables in Kyoto, you must not miss this shop. They are open very late, until 23:00, and the transportation location is also very convenient. It is actually near Shijo Station on the Karasuma Line, so the area is quite lively. If you finish visiting the attractions at night, you can also come here for a late-night snack because it is convenient. Due to our schedule , we actually have to rush back to Tokyo. Today we had the lunch set “Tora no Taro”. It is a reservation-only meal and the price is a bit higher. We just ordered the 3500 yen lunch set, which includes a tofu appetizer, local Kyoto cuisine, Kagoshima pork , and wild vegetables. It’s quite comprehensive. If we order it in the evening, it starts at 4500 yen. The evening meal will be more substantial. For your reference, I’m already drooling. The waiter just taught us how to eat it. He gave us a bowl of this sauce and added the nine green onions. First, we cooked the pork paste . The way to eat it is to put the pork After the pulp is cooked , add it and eat it with the very generous nine-striped green onions. Come and try it quickly. I love green onions (delicious). The pork pulp is so tender, and the nine-striped green onions on the outside are crispy. The taste of the green onions is very refreshing and very delicious. It is amazing. Because they say that the nine-striped green onions in the summer actually have a special aroma. I decided to add some more green onions. Their green onions are unlimited , so you must add them up. In addition, the clerk just said that if you like a spicy feeling, there is also the seven-flavor flavor next to it. The seven-flavor flavor is raw, that is, the moist one, not just powdery, so I think it must be a special product of the store. Oh my God , and the sauce is hot! It ‘s really amazing! It totally reminds me of my time in Kagoshima. I think the fat content is just right. You might not normally eat pork this tender . It melts in your mouth without any other dipping sauce. It’s so delicious that my mouth is watering. Oh my god , I can smell the aroma of the sauce just by picking it up. It ‘s truly delicious. And the scallions are so crispy. Actually, Japanese scallions taste more like vegetables. They are very sweet and refreshing without that pungent smell. So I didn’t really like them that much in Taiwan. After arriving in Japan, I fell in love with onions . They are really delicious. In addition to the atmosphere of the restaurant , most of the seats at Torataro are semi-private, so you can really relax and enjoy your hot pot here . The bean flavor of the soup is really soft. In Japanese, I think it is “soft” and it feels very good for the body . After eating the hot pot, the waiter will also bring a small plate of Chinese noodles as a perfect ending to the meal. This is what Japan calls the culture of “炁め”. Chinese noodles are also served with pork bone sesame sauce and are hot. It’s hot, so don’t worry about it being too much to finish. The Chinese noodles that come with it are bite-sized, so two bites is enough for one person, so I think it’s a perfect change of pace to end the meal. There’s also dessert, so I think it’s a really filling and delicious meal . Okay, so this time, we’ve introduced a few late-night spots in Kyoto. What do you think? The purpose of this theme shoot is to get you to your desired Kyoto tourist spots in the morning, like Arashiyama and Fushimi Inari Shrine. If you live in downtown Kyoto, there are plenty of great nightlife options . And I think there are so many advantages to visiting Kyoto at night. Not only are there fewer crowds, but it’s also cooler in the summer, really. You don’t have to be exposed to the sun. I believe Kyoto has tons of great late-night spots and delicious restaurants waiting to be discovered. If you’ve discovered any great late-night restaurants in Kyoto, please leave a comment below and share with us. If you enjoyed our introduction to Kyoto’s nighttime attractions, please like, subscribe, share, and activate the bell. See you next episode! Bye Bye
