So, when I chose this hotel, I paid close attention to all the details. After all, this trip is with my family! I’m really happy with this hotel, and I absolutely love it—my top Xiamen hotel recommendation! It ticks all the boxes, and after you watch this video, you’ll see why! Hello, I just settled in today. I traveled from Shenzhen to Xiamen today. Took the high-speed train from Shenzhen to Xiamen—just 3 hours! Checked into this hotel: Xiamen Xin’an Yihai Hotel. I really love this place! From the customer service at the front desk to the room quality, and now, enjoying all the hotel facilities. Everything here feels amazing! There’s something really special about this place— they have a lounge area. They offer coffee, tea, and even snacks and light bites. Plus, there’s fruit and unlimited coffee available. From 10 AM to 10 PM, you can enjoy free coffee here. You can come here and enjoy free coffee. They also provide a free washing machine and dryer. You can bring your clothes here to wash. I think this place is really great. The location is just perfect. Although it’s not near Zhongshan Road or 8th Market, the popular tourist attractions, I find it very close to the BRT bus system. Taking Didi here is also very convenient. So I highly recommend this hotel; you should check it out. The hotel is in a really prime location. It’s in the bustling train station area. It’s about 5 minutes from Xiamen Train Station and the Wanda Plaza. So if you come by high-speed rail, it only takes 5 minutes to get to the hotel. Make sure it’s Xiamen Station, not Xiamen North Station. Nearby and in the alleys behind here, locals love to eat. There are many great eateries around. Before I introduce the room, let’s check out the hotel amenities. There’s a sofa lounge on the second floor. After a day of exploring, you can relax in this lounge. Have some coffee, snacks, or fruit. They even offer pour-over coffee equipment here. And they provide coffee beans. So you can grind the beans and brew your own coffee. It’s such a nice, relaxing vibe here. Nice, right? They also have a small bar offering tea and lemon water. If you don’t want to bother with the pour-over, there’s a coffee machine. The fridge has a variety of fruits you can take. And there are cookies and small desserts next to it. They provide 24-hour self-service laundry for free. There’s an ironing board and free laundry detergent. And there’s also a dryer. So after washing, you can dry your clothes in about an hour. Meanwhile, you can relax in your room or have some coffee. Or sit in the lounge while you wait. Next to the laundry is a small gym. It’s small but has everything you need. They also provide free towels and water. If you’re into yoga or Pilates, there’s a famous yoga studio on the 5th floor of this building. It’s beautiful, you should check it out. If you like massages, there’s a renowned Shoutian Tui Na Spa on the 6th floor. Also worth visiting. Alright, it’s time to show you the room! I’m staying on the 12th floor this time. As soon as you enter the room, it smells so nice. On the left is the wash area, and on the right is the toilet. The whole space is bright, and the bed is super large. I love this small seating area by the window, it’s so comfy. When you come back after a day out and don’t want to lie in bed right away, you can sit here first. They also provide tea-making tools here, along with some snacks. The other room I booked had a fresh fruit platter. But this room doesn’t. I’m not sure why. They offer two bottles of water, some simple tea bags, and a kettle. Inside the drawer, there’s a hairdryer and some basic toiletries. The water in the fridge is free to drink. They also provide slippers in the room. The slippers are quite comfortable, and the quality feels pretty good. This large bed is very comfortable, not too hard or too soft. For me, it’s just perfect. Both sides of the bed have USB outlets, which is a big plus. When you sleep with your partner, you won’t need to fight over the outlet. They also offer a very thoughtful option—multiple pillow choices. I think this is a very considerate feature. They provide latex pillows, cassia seed pillows, buckwheat pillows, and lavender pillows. You can choose your pillow based on the height or firmness that you prefer. I also really like the mirror in the bathroom area. It’s very bright, and great for taking pictures. The curtains here are also automatic, just press this button, and they will raise or lower automatically. This is definitely another point in its favor. From this window, you can see the BRT. The Xiamen Xin An Yihao Hotel is about a 7-minute walk to the BRT. And it’s about a 10-minute walk to Xiamen Railway Station. What is the BRT? It’s a special public transportation system in Xiamen. It stands for Bus Rapid Transit. It’s essentially an elevated bus system. It runs on a dedicated road specifically for buses. As for the bathroom, it’s very clean. It has everything you need. There’s shower gel and shampoo. There’s also a towel rack for drying, very thoughtful. The water pressure here is strong. The water temperature is great, and I really like this feature. As soon as I stepped into this room, it felt like coming home. The room is spacious, and the soundproofing is pretty good. The basic facilities are well provided, and it’s very clean and tidy. The bed is also very soft and comfortable. I would definitely highly recommend this hotel—Xiamen Xin An Yihao Hotel. Even though it doesn’t have a swimming pool, I feel like from the service, the room, the location, and all the little details, they’ve done everything really well. I saw on the official website that check-in time is mentioned, right? It says the standard check-in time is 2 PM. However, if you arrive early, rooms are generally available for early check-in, and it’s free! This is definitely a big plus. They clearly mention online that if a room is available, you can check in for free. I think that’s a very thoughtful feature. Also, I have to mention, they have a super cute delivery robot. The robot takes the elevator with you when it’s working, going up and down—super cute! Of course, remember to give way to it! As for the breakfast, there’s quite a variety. They offer various types of tea for you to brew. Both Western and Chinese breakfast options are available here. They have congee, noodles, breads, salads, and more. They pretty much have everything you need. What’s special here is they serve Xiamen’s famous local dish—shacha noodles. Of course, you can also opt for plain noodle soup. You can choose from rice noodles, yellow noodles, or spinach noodles. Then pick your toppings and hand them to the friendly lady. The very kind lady will prepare your noodles for you. Personally, I really like shacha noodles—they’re delicious! In the next episode, I’ll be taking you on a food tour around Xiamen. I never thought Xiamen would have so much amazing food.
