シェムリアップでのリアルライフ🇰🇭(初日の冒険!)

Siem Reap. I’m really excited for this
trip. Good. Ah, okay. Interesting. Oh my god. What’s up, guys? It’s official. We are in Siem
Reap, Cambodia, the northern side of Cambodia. We left uh the capital yesterday. I’m not even
going to try to pronounce it cuz I screw it up every time. So, today we’re just going to take
it easy. We’re going to do a lot of walking, just trying to see what’s around us, and maybe
have brunch somewhere. And then tomorrow, I think we’re going to get the 3-day pass
where we go to all the temples and we’ll take a tuk tuk. We’re going to walk around today,
show you guys kind of what’s around us. It’s beautiful. It’s very clean. It’s very walkable.
And uh just stay tuned. But it looks beautiful here. It’s super clean. Traffic’s light. You
definitely could tell you’re in a more of a village quiet area and the weather is absolutely
amazing. So, Emma, anything else to say? Yeah, I’m excited to see one of the larger temples in
the world, uh, UNESCO heritage. So, I’m really excited for this street. See how super clean
the streets are. No shortage of tuk tuks. Um, super cheap. We take tuk tuks like 2 to 5 km.
They’re like 80 cents. So, literally the best way to get around, even in rain, they’re covered up
and they get around traffic pretty easy. Although, traffic’s not much of an issue here. We’re
going to go for a good long walk. The weather is absolutely amazing. So, come along with us. See
what we see. So, here is the little bitty kind of like farmers market, I guess you’d say. Nothing
as crazy. They sell like a looks like a Raki, It’s like a liquor like it’s wine. Okay. From
rice. 40% rice. Wine. Okay. 50% stronger. Huh. I got the hiccup. So if you hear
me hiccuping in the background, sorry. Can’t get rid of them. Got the Meet.
My favorite pork. Pork. Yeah. Quail eggs. Fresh asparagus. More pork. Limes. Lime. What is this? A
lime? No, no, no. It’s not lime. It’s a It’s kind of orange. It’s like a orange. Yeah.
Yeah. Yeah. This one, but it’s green. Oh, I see. Taste it. Huh? It’s like a It’s like
an orange, you said. Have you ever seen this? That’s a lime. Buy one to try it. Try it, babe. She lo
She loves fruit. She’s the fruit queen. So, it’s like an orange, but it looks like
overgrown lime. Let’s hear the verdict. It’s good. What would you compare it to? Orange.
Between is a close orange. Ah, it’s orange. It’s orange. Let’s take some. You want to take some?
You’ll eat them? Yeah. Okay. How much for five? Uh you you need four five piece.
Yeah. Five of them. Uh $1 for five. $1 for five. How much is that in
Rio? Uh 4,000. 4,000. Okay. So, we’re doing $1 gets us five of these
things. It’s not for kilo. You don’t kind of fruit. What is this? Don’t know. It’s something duck eggs. Duck duck, no are chicken eggs probably is. They’re huge. This was a part of uh of a Sunday morning
in uh Siem Reap. What uh surprised us here in Cambodia is the fact that almost everyone
speaks English and um they have at school like a language that they should learn. But
even the old people that don’t speak English, uh we met a teacher and he said that everyone can
take classes and learn how to to talk and to speak English and to understand. That’s a good thing in
here. So it’s not a problem to talk with everyone. There are some people that don’t speak. It’s
normal. But the majority we can talk and have a conversation without a problem at all. Yeah. Just
like the farmers market there. Most people are kind of a little more village old school. Probably
come from villages to sell their products at this market. Not nobody understood anything we were
trying to ask uh questions about. So, but but like she was saying, for the most part, everyone
speaks English or a close version of it. I mean, you always can translate your words somehow. Good
old uh attempt. Good faith attempt I should say. All the breeze here feels amazing. Look at
this. I would say it’s not a river I would swim in. Let me go show you. But you look like
a little it’s for do some fishing and trapping. Yeah, I would go swimming in that. What’s your name? My name is Sakon. And you?
Son. I’m John. John. Nice to meet you. Mr. John. Mr. John. Easy. This is my beautiful
wife, Emma. Okay. Beautiful, right? Yeah. So, what is the name of this temple? pagoda. Ah,
okay. I would definitely screw that up. So, hello. Mr. Yeah. And these tuk tuk drivers
are ruthless, man. They’re all over you all the time. Everywhere you go, it gets really [ __ ]
annoying. I mean, they mean well, of course, they don’t understand. Everyone’s got to hustle and
make money. But god damn, when you say uh no, we want to walk today, that means no, we want to walk
today last time I checked. So, this is a Buddhist temple, so I don’t have to have I’m wearing a
sleeveless shirt cuz it is still pretty high. Uh usually some of the other places you have to have
sleeves and Emma has to wear the same. So, uh here not the case. So, we got lucky and it’s free and
that’s my favourite price. Free. Very beautiful. The classic shoe. Take off it. I’m
going to sport my new Sketchers. So, here’s the interior. I’m going to do
a walk around. Lot of laying down. Look like someone’s trying to kill her, I guess.
the crucifier again getting prayed to. Obviously, she was an important person. I think we’ve
established that. And that’ll be enough of this. So, here we are in the infamous Pub Street. I’m
sure we’ll check it out tonight. Um, I imagine it’s probably pretty crazy. Looks like it’s a cool
little place though where you lounge. It probably has some live music perhaps. You might uh see one.
It would be longer as a road with a lot of bars, but there aren’t a lot of bars in here. Yeah,
it’s pretty short. Less than the one in Him. Yeah, which is kind of nice. Which means it’s going
to be less crowded. Let me show you guys just what kind of deals they have and why it’s fun
to come to these places. They also have a lot of live music but $1.75 draft $1.25 25 Cambodia
cocktail one buy 1 get one free house board gin rum vodka tequila whiskey even comes with some
food I mean you just can’t beat these prices you just can’t beat them I mean even when you
don’t want to drink you just feel obligated because you’re saving money right so this is Pub
Street guys we’ll show you this in the evening. And uh so now you’ll see what it’s like when it’s
dead. We’ll show you later when it’s alive. Just passing through the market here through the uh
the Riverside Night Market. So I imagine night time it’s a little more popping. But we’re
here early. That’s why everyone’s saying for your first customer, we give you best price
for that one before. I like that Lululemon. That colour right there on you. That’d be good
for a workout. and the color behind it. No, man. Emma is a struggle to go shopping with her
her style and my style are complete opposites. I like them. They’re You don’t want them? I
like them. You don’t want them. I don’t want to buy them. Okay. All right. We’re going to
work out. We need workout clothes. Lip balm. Interesting. What is it? Lip glam. Lip balm.
Balm. What do you Oh, you open it. Three. Whoa. Then you open $1. Okay. Yeah. When you How
can I smell it? Yeah. How can you smell it? Smell. Yes. The same smell. That’s just same
as the lip balm. Yes. We’ll buy one we have together. I open the lip lamp. Smells very
good. Jasmine, right? Jasmine. Yeah. Yeah. I already tried it. I couldn’t wait. It’s very
good and the lips are so soft. Now we’ll go in each branch. I found a very nice place on
Google Maps with a lot of good reviews. So, let’s go and try it. The Wild Bistro. Yes. All right. All right. Off to brunch.
See you get when we get there. sit here. Hello. So, we just arrived at Wild is the name of this
place for branch. It’s beautiful. The menu looks very good. They are more known for spring
rolls. I don’t know what to order. In fact, you order spring rolls or something else. So,
take the green detox that is with cucumber, lime, sugar, soda, water, and basil seeds.
And this one in here. Think we’re ready, bud. Took the fresh spring rolls. A Caesar that
is salad, chicken, and Parmesan cheese like Caesar salad. Let’s say one Caesar salad for Joan. One
scissor salad and one Greek salad. What she said today, health, happiness, and prosperity and wealth. This are Eve Caesar Caesar salad. So, this is fresh spring rolls with rice paper,
salad, chicken, and Parmesano cheese inside. I’ll proceed to dip it. Dip in the Caesar sauce.
It’s a Caesar dressing. Yeah. And then what is that? And I don’t know what is this crunchy
thing for like a peanut crumb. I don’t know. Let’s try. One out of 10. What we giving it? Oh
my god. It’s very good. You feel the Parmesan cheese on it and it mixed with the chicken. It’s
perfect. 10 out of 10. There you go. You heard it from her. 10 out of 10. The food spring roll
professional reviewer. We just finished eating. The food was very good. We paid only $23 for two
big salads, one spring rolls, two detox waters, and natural water. Now we are going back home
and relax for a while. Maybe stay at the pool. We’ll show you the hotel that we are staying
and we’ll go out in the evening. See you later after being at the hotel for 2 three hours. Now we are out again to see how is the
life during the night and see all for today for San Reap. Unfortunately, we had
to cut the night short because I wasn’t feeling too well. But we’ll be back with something
really special next time. In the next vlog, we’re taking you to an incredible temples
