北京?いやいやここが中国の中心ですから

There’s a Heiwado here. Shall we go in? Let’s go ! They had Ajisen Ramen and Hamazushi, and there was a huge line for Hamazushi. Everyone, we’re all in. Um, I’m in Changsha now. I arrived at my hotel in Changsha. So, um, Wuyi Square, right in the center of it all. The night was 188 yuan, which I’d consider to be pretty average. It’s cheap, considering the location, but still pretty average. I ‘m not particularly complaining, but it’s a bit small. The facilities were pretty nice, but there was one problem: the bathroom was the first I’d ever seen in a hotel. It had a Japanese-style toilet. It was already evening, so I left the hotel and headed to the nearby entertainment district to look for dinner. This place is called “Yao Wang Street,” and there’s a place named after Chinese herbal medicine. “Shu Bainian.” Speaking of Changsha, stinky tofu. As you can see, the entertainment district gets busier as the sun goes down. While duck meat seems to be their specialty, I decided to take a peek at this stall that’s even more impressive. It has fluffy, hairy tofu on it. I bought some, but they told me it’s not ripe yet and that it takes two days. They told me to wait, but I couldn’t wait, so I gave it a try. Wow, these chili peppers are amazing. Super spicy. This is that thing. What’s it called? I forgot. You put it in porridge and stuff. 25 yuan. Next, I went into this shop whose sign caught my eye. I bought the most expensive one, 50 yuan for four. They cut it up and seasoned it for you on the spot. Island Bread. Those seeing it for the first time might be left out, but this is betel nut. It’s the fruit of a palm tree. It’s mainly grown on Hainan Island and is enjoyed by chewing. I was curious about the shop, so I bought some betel nut. I think this was my first time trying it. I might have tried it once, but I came to the south, and I don’t think they even have the originals around here, so this was my first time trying it (down south). Betel nut. This kind. Apparently it’s not very healthy, but it’s like a cigarette. As for how to use it… I don’t know. So, I bought one of these, the most expensive one, for 50 yuan for four. They cut up the four pieces of fruit, or rather chunks, on the spot and added seasonings right away. They weren’t very friendly at first, but at the end I asked if it was an old shop, and they said it’s been around for over 10 years, or something like that , and then they smiled and asked me to try it, and I let them try it, and I’m chewing it now. By the way, when you chew this, it’s a bit of a drug, so it makes you a little high. Maybe I’m getting high. I don’t think it’s that strong. It’s really narrow, though. The roads. The roads are narrow. So, where should we go now? Which way should we go? The cars are getting closer and closer to my car. I somehow ended up taking the elevator, but there’s a huge crowd. A huge crowd. To be honest, the queue is so long, it’s too much, I’ll just give up. I’ll give up. I went into the restaurant next door. I ordered hot pot on my smartphone . It’s called a dry hot pot. It has pork ribs and bamboo shoots in it, but I think it’s just ribs and bamboo shoots. That one is a little spicy with chili peppers, and this one is eggplant. Apparently the eggplant one isn’t spicy. Shall I start with the eggplant? Oh, this is really good. Um, sweet. Sweet with a bit of egg and eggplant, it’s really exquisite. The pork ribs , yeah. yeah. Very smoky. It has a smoked aroma. I got this. They said it was a little spicy, so I got this fruity one. Tomato. yeah. Oh, it’s still a little frozen. It’s crunchy. It looked like it was raining when I went outside, but luckily it’s just a light drizzle. I wandered around the city for a while, enjoying the atmosphere. I saw that person here, too. Yes, Changsha is close to that person’s hometown. I’ve been seeing this smoky dragon everywhere lately. This shop’s poster. Do you know what it says? Apparently it’s super cold. I discovered a small alleyway like this, so I’m close. I’m back at my hotel room. It’s unbelievably hot. It’s amazing. No matter how much water or tea I drink, it’s never enough. This is a shop I saw yesterday in a different location, but it’s lunchtime now, and this other shop and the other outlets are packed. Anyway, I’m heading to a certain place for lunch, and that person is here too . This is a teahouse on Dongmao Street. It has an open-air atrium, with seating on the first and second floors. Customers go to each booth to order. It’s self-service, so the staff will clear your plates, but you have to pick up your food yourself. I picked up the stinky tofu outside the shop. This place is a really big hall, and there are various areas, like upstairs and downstairs, where you order and then go pick it up, like in a cafeteria. We ordered a variety of things. Stinky tofu, and breakfast dishes like youtiao, and pig’s trotters . First, let’s have a cup of tea. Let’s have some. Pig’s trotters. Fried stinky tofu. Changsha stinky tofu is really famous. Yeah, it’s freshly fried and delicious. I found this place online beforehand, but I was a little worried because it seemed pretty busy. I wondered if we’d find a seat. Today is Tuesday, and it’s lunchtime, but they seem to open pretty early. They seem to open around 6:30 or 7:00. I’m not sure if it’s always like this, but anyway, even though it’s a weekday, it feels like it’s almost full. But we were able to find a seat, which was good. If it had been a public holiday, it might have been quite difficult. The location was great, so everyone was taking pictures. There’s an air conditioner and a fan, but what else is there? It’s ice. It’s cool. It’s crowded, but everyone sits comfortably. There’s tea, so everyone sits comfortably. It’s indoors, but there are people smoking, and people playing poker. So, you can relax and read a book. It’s nice to be able to read a book while drinking tea. This is the Changsha IFS International Finance Center, lined with luxury brand shops. There are a lot of great luxury brands. It’s quite large, and it’s fairly close to Heiwado, which I went to yesterday. Looking at the map, it’s about the size of four Heiwado stores. Maybe even more. It’s about the size of four or five Heiwado stores. I went in to cool off, but it wasn’t that cool. A stylish bookstore and a Starbucks. This is city life. Ah, you can see it over there, in the distance . It’s so far away, so I crossed the big bridge, cooled off at Starbucks, then walked a little and came here. If I had to choose, it would be a place called Orange Island. I think this is the main tourist spot in Changsha. The reason is, there’s this statue. There ‘s a small train-like thing running over there, it’s electric, and there was a huge line of people, so I thought it would be a pain, but it’s definitely easier to go by that. The reason is, it’s 3km from here. During the day, when I was in the town, I thought it was surprisingly cool, but the temperature right now is 38°. Since we’re already by the river, the river is called the Xiangjiang River. It’s quite wide. Maybe because it’s by the river, it’s muggy. It’s hottest in the evening. Let’s not complain, shall we? Oh, suddenly, people are popping up here. What’s so special about this place? What’s so special about that? It’s the statue of Mao Zedong. It’s incredibly hot. The setting sun is just shining in. It’s a statue of Mao Zedong in his younger days. It’s so huge. The sun is setting now, and there are so many people there, it’s overwhelming. But I’m going home. I’m going home. The lights just came on. I was a little tired, and it was already about 9pm , so I didn’t go into a restaurant. I just bought some beef buns like these from nearby. Steamed buns and these honey-boiled dumplings. And watermelon. A ton of watermelon. It was super cheap. 7 yuan? 7.4 yuan, maybe. That’s it for today, and today marks the end of my trip to Changsha. I didn’t explore every corner of the city, though. I kept it short and compact, covering 2 nights and 3 days. Tomorrow, I’m going to that mountain. See you in the next video.
