【超詳細宿泊レビュー】気持ち良すぎる畳敷きと天然温泉で癒やしの大人旅 御宿 野乃富山宿泊記
I’m currently traveling in Toyama and on my way to my hotel for the night. My hotel is Onyado Nono Toyama. It offers natural hot spring baths in the guest rooms made of cypress. As a Dormy Inn fan, I’ve been wanting to stay here whenever I visit Toyama. Regarding the hotel’s location, take the tram loop line from Toyama Station and get off at Ote Mall. It’s about a two-minute walk. The Toyama Glass Art Museum is nearby. I’m looking forward to seeing what this hotel is like again (^^). Arrived at the hotel. This appears to be the entrance for day-trip visitors. This is it. Natural Hot Spring Tsurugi no Yu, Onyado Nono Toyama. It’s a two-minute walk from Ote Mall on the tram loop line. Total number of rooms: 150. Large public bath available. Parking available (fee required). Parking is available nearby. It costs 1,400 yen per night. Now, let’s check in. Check-in time is 3:00 PM. This hotel has tatami flooring throughout. Take off your shoes and leave them there. There’s something up front. There were travel brochures and children’s amenities here . Let’s start by going to the second floor. Oh! There were cooling pillows here. The second floor was quite spacious. Perhaps because it’s also used by day-trippers, there’s a vending machine corner selling coffee milk, soft drinks, and alcohol. This is the breakfast area , but it’s open and I was able to take a break here . There were also free drinks. They had tea and coffee. I’m looking forward to tomorrow’s breakfast (^^). Then there’s the main public bath. There’s something in the back, so let’s go check it out. There’s a manga corner here. And a massage chair. The massage chairs are free to use and are very high-quality. There were also popsicles. I ate them on the bench there before heading to my room . You need a room card to enter the public bath. There’s also security in the elevator. The hotel is nine stories tall and the facilities are concentrated on the second floor. My room for today was just a short walk from the elevator. Let’s go inside. Moderate Double Room (with natural hot spring cypress bath) Room size: 16.1 m², occupancy: 1-2 people. Incidentally, some rooms do not have natural hot spring cypress baths. The room had a Japanese-modern ryokan-like atmosphere. The room was also floored with tatami mats. The ceiling height was average, I think. The ceiling design is typical of ryokan-style ryokans. As expected, it felt a bit cramped at 16.1 m². It was a comfortable size for one person. The view from this room looked like this with the blinds open. Right in front of me was Mt. Yamato Toyama. Looking down, it looked like this. This room was on the seventh floor, so I could see the Tateyama mountain range. If only there weren’t clouds. The windows also had roller shades, which blocked out a lot of light. The air conditioning was individually controlled, allowing you to adjust the temperature to your liking. Let’s take a closer look at the room. Facilities: The entrance was compact, with a full-length mirror and a floral arrangement. There was also a desk by the window, with a telephone and memo pad on the desk. There was also a TV. When I turned it on, the hotel screen came up. I could see the occupancy status of the large public bath, the breakfast area, and the coin laundry. There was also a list of rental items. There was also a video player , but it cost money . You could watch terrestrial digital and satellite TV. The Wi-Fi speed was blazing fast at 300Mbps. There were also chairs, which were very comfortable. I opened the drawer next to it and found a coffee set, tea , glass cups, and teacups. The drawer below that contained a kettle. And as for the refrigerator, I opened it and found free mineral water and jelly. The strawberry jelly looked delicious! (^^) Next to it was a closet, which contained various items, including deodorizing spray and in-house wear . The in-house wear was separate and spacious, allowing me to relax. There was also a bath basket. Inside were bath towels, body towels, tabi socks, and a laundry bag. Under the closet, There was a security box. There was a towel rack and a chair on the wall. There was also an air purifier with a humidifier. It was made by Panasonic. Introducing the bed. The bed measures 140cm x 195cm. It sits on tatami mats and is quite low. The pillow is a memory foam pillow. The comforter was a little thick. The bed was well-cushioned. When I removed the mattress pad, I found a Serta pocket coil mattress. Because it’s a pocket coil mattress, it distributes body pressure well. Introducing the bathroom. Next is the bathroom. This room had three separate areas. The bathroom was spacious and comfortable. However, the toilet didn’t have a door, which might be a problem. It’s not a problem if you’re using it alone. The bathroom counter looks like this. There’s a face towel next to it. On top of the counter, there are tissues and hand wash foam. It can also be used for washing your face. There’s a drawer underneath. When I opened it, I found cups and amenities stored there. Amenities included a toothbrush set and a shower cap. There were hair ties, razors, hairbrushes, and cotton swabs. There was also a hairdryer below that. It was a Panasonic Nanoe. The bath mat was stored at the bottom. And then there was the bathroom. Wow. It was compact, but there was a cypress bathtub. It had a lovely cypress scent (^^). The hot water outlet was very professional (^^). There was a button to add hot water. There was a button to fill the bathtub at the entrance. It filled about two-thirds with hot water. There was also water to dilute the bath. There was a window here, so you could enjoy the view outside. Bathroom facilities included a bathtub, a bath chair, and a hand shower. The nozzle had a variable water flow. The shampoos were made by POLA. Finally, the toilet. It was a shower toilet with a washing machine. The functions available were as follows. I left the hotel and wandered around town. In the elevator hall, they sold video cards. Here, there was a vending machine. There was also a microwave. There were also disposable chopsticks. Next to them was an ice maker. I uploaded a separate video of this, so please take a look if you’re interested. I returned to the hotel. I took a bath in the cypress bath in my room. It seemed like a purely Japanese-style hot spring (^^). I added jelly until the water was filled. I pressed the fill button, and it stopped just about at the right point. The water was natural, pumped up from 1,200 meters underground. The water was great. The window opened, so it felt like a semi-open-air bath (^^). Looking down, it looked like this. If you had some beer, you could drink it while you were in the bath (^^). The water was brown and smooth. I was very satisfied with the bath in my room, but let’s also check out the large public bath. Well, I’m off now. The large public bath felt like a hot spring theme park, with a wide variety of baths. There were rock baths, cypress baths, and waterfall baths. All were natural hot springs. The water quality was hypotonic, alkaline, and low-temperature (simple hot spring). It was said to be effective for neuralgia, muscle pain, joint pain, sensitivity to cold, and fatigue. The washing area had a partition, allowing for privacy. There was also an open-air bath, with a rustic stone tub. It had the atmosphere of a hot spring inn. The men’s room had a dry sauna, and the women’s had a mist sauna. There was also a cold bath with a chiller. The changing room had a well-equipped powder room. Amenities like hair dryers, cotton swabs, lotions, and emulsions were provided. Skin care products were also available in the men’s area. A laundry room was located within the large public bath. You could wash your clothes while you bathed, and then conveniently transfer them to the dryer after you came out. The large public bath truly lived up to its name as a hot spring theme park. The water was great. Next, I went for “Yonaki Soba.” It’s served from 9:30 PM to 11:00 PM. Free drinks are available during this time, too. It’s the same soy sauce ramen as always. It’s light and easy on the stomach. Now, I head back to my room. But first, a cold pillow. I’ll sleep on this for the night. Good morning. I’m off to my morning bath and breakfast. First, my morning bath. A lactic acid drink. This. They open at 6:30 AM. Breakfast is a Japanese-Western buffet, so let’s take a look around. They have burdock and ginger rice. They have pickles from Kyoto’s “Gion Kawakatsu.” And vinegared rice! They also have a corner where you can make your own seafood bowl. They have yellowtail and pickled tuna. They have whitebait, salmon roe, and grated yam. They use soy sauce from Yamamoto Brewery in Toyama. They have miso soup. They also have the local dish, “Tarajiru.” This area is a “tasty little bowl alley.” This shop sells the most popular red-rolled kamaboko in Toyama Prefecture. They also have local delicacies like marinated firefly squid. Just looking at them makes me feel healthy (^^). The side dishes look delicious, too (^^). Next to them were grilled fish and other dishes. This area is mostly fried foods and Western food. Then there’s the salad and dessert section. They had marinated pork. They had bite-sized cakes. Next to that was the bread section. And the drink section. There’s more here too. There were takeout containers here. I picked up a variety! There was quite a lot! These are fried foods. Grilled foods. Marinated firefly squid. Toyama 3-item platter. Gion Kawakatsu pickles. Cod soup. And the main course, a seafood bowl. I picked up some side dishes. The yellowtail looked really delicious. As for the firefly squid… The soy sauce and bitterness were really tasty. As for the Toyama 3-item platter… The meal consisted of sweet shrimp marinated in kelp, simmered firefly fish with ginger, and red-wrapped kamaboko. It’s great to be able to try local cuisine. The menu included side dishes and fried foods. There was something for everyone. A classic breakfast was available. The cod soup had large chunks of cod. Apparently, Toyama has a “Cod Soup Highway.” There’s still a lot about Toyama I don’t know. And the main course was a seafood bowl. Yellowtail is unique to Toyama. It was incredibly delicious (^^). I wish I’d just ordered a yellowtail bowl. I had dessert! It’s always nice to have a slice of cake (^^). Finally, I finished with coffee. It was a very Toyama-esque breakfast. It was well-balanced (^^). I returned to my room and enjoyed the hot spring bath. It’s always great. The breeze coming in through the window was so pleasant. It’s time to check out. The tatami flooring was amazing (^^). CHECK-OUT. What did you think? The hotel’s interior, with its tatami-floored corridors and Japanese charm, was clean and comfortable wherever I walked. It had a relaxing, home-like atmosphere. The guest rooms were also decorated in a calming Japanese style. The Serta beds were very comfortable, allowing me to rest well. The large public bath was like a hot spring theme park, and I had an incredibly fun time bathing. The most memorable thing was the hot spring in my room. I opened the window a little, and the breeze that came in was so pleasant, it helped me relieve stress. Next time, I’d like to stay in a hotel for a long time (^^). Thank you for watching this far. See you in the next video! I hope this video helps you choose a hotel.
