#ReviewActivity Kyushu Winter Limited Strawberry Picking Day Tour|Arita Ceramic Park & Yutoku

We took a one-day tour to Saga this time. Although it rained, we still had a lot of fun. We experienced the culture of Saga, appreciated the beautiful scenery of Saga, and picked strawberries. The strawberries were delicious 😋 (but I still have a question in my mind. If you pick and eat strawberries at the same time, don’t you need to wash them when you pick them? Although they are grown in greenhouses, there is still some dust. I think it is better to provide water for us to wash them.) Finally, I am very grateful to the tour guide and driver this time. The tour guide Wu Xia was very enthusiastic and responsible. She also sent an email notification the night before departure to inform us of precautions. In addition to introducing Saga, it also provides delicious and fun places in Fukuoka. Thank you to the driver for driving safely. I hope to take another Klook day tour next time I come to Japan. Really enjoyed this tour! It was a birthday gift for myself and I’m so happy with it! Daisy, our tour guide, was really kind and helpful. The timing was perfect for each location since she thought about the tides for the gates and where to best spend the most time at. she helped take pictures and got some candid ones too! She also gave us some recommendations on restaurants and super markets. She even helped me find a place for lodging. The weather was cloudy and a bit of rain but it was still okay and didn’t bother the trip. Most of the stops were 40ish minutes if I remember correctly and it was a good amount for the places that were mostly photo locations. The most time was at Inari shrine so you can climb up the stairs and/or eat. I recommend a light lunch since after is the strawberry patch and you gotta eat your money’s worth! Very happy and would love to try it again in the summer! :). Daisy Wu was very amazing. 4 stops at Saga Strawberry Picking tourr was well organized. She also explained us about the info of each places and what to do and not to do. I gave 100 points for thid tour with Daisy. Totally recommend! maple leaves are really nice and the guide, Daisy was very helpful and sweet. She got us a local snack too and helped with photo-taking! highly recommend this trip if you wanna see pretty autumn colours. Daisy was our friendly and hospitable guide for the tour. Overall, the itinerary was built for those who want to see scenic views with a little bit immersion of the Japanese culture. It could have been better if it was not raining all day long. Recommended for Autumn and Spring season. We had the best time viewing autumn leaves in this region of Japan! Our tour guide, Daisy, was very helpful and approachable. She shared stories and information about the tour spots that piqued our interest and made the trip more meaningful. Be prepared for a lot of uphill walks and a tight schedule. Best to have snacks/food with you because the itinerary is packed, there’s no time to have for lunch. I bought this tour only for strawberry picking but it literally surprised me that every place are also beautiful, if you select the right time for Sakura blossom.

Kyushu Winter Limited Strawberry Picking Day Tour|Arita Ceramic Park & Yutoku Inari Shrine & Oo Shrine Day Tour (Depart from Fukuoka)
If you only have one day to explore Saga, this classic route is definitely not to be missed! From culture and art to natural scenery, every stop in Saga is unforgettable~

First stop: Arita Ceramic Park
Start your journey from Arita Ceramic Park in the morning and experience the essence of Japanese ceramic culture! There are not only exquisite ceramic exhibitions here, but also the fun of making pottery by yourself. Walking through the European castle-style buildings, it feels like being in a fairy tale world~ Remember to take a few beautiful photos, it really comes out!

Second stop: Takeo Onsen Street
After visiting the ceramic park, drive to Takeo Onsen Street. Takeo Onsen has a history of thousands of years, and the small shops and traditional buildings on both sides of the street are full of nostalgia.

Third stop: Yutoku Inari Shrine
Go to Yutoku Inari Shrine to experience Japanese traditional culture. This shrine is famous for its spectacular red thousand torii gates and is a good place to pray for peace and good luck. Strolling through the torii corridors, it is quiet and healing. Remember to make a good wish!

Stop 4: Oo Shrine
Then we came to the hidden check-in spot – Oo Shrine. This shrine faces the sea, and the shrine stands in the water. The scenery is very different when the tide rises and falls, which is very unique. When the sun sets, this place is particularly dreamy, and it is a great choice for photography enthusiasts!

Stop 5: Saga Strawberry Picking
The last stop is to go to the berry farm with a relaxed and happy mood to experience the fun of picking! The strawberries here are big and sweet. Picking and eating them, your mouth is full of sweet taste~
