獨家搶先看🤩京都新景點!日本史上最大teamLab即將開幕 |京都 teamLab Biovortex Kyoto ・京都自由行|吉田社長
Hi everyone, good morning. I’m Fumi from “Happy Shopping! Japan.” Good morning everyone, I’m Minmin from “Happy Shopping! Japan.” We’re in Kyoto today to unbox teamLab Biovortex Kyoto , which is set to open this fall. We’re currently on the south side of Kyoto Station , right near the Hachijo Exit. Actually, I heard a colleague in Kyoto say that for Kyoto residents, their first impression of Kyoto Station is the north side, because that’s where Kyoto Tower is. It’s naturally busier and has more convenient transportation. To many, the south side might be a bit older or more residential, but a redevelopment project is currently underway in the southeast area of Kyoto Station. Besides teamLab, many new art centers and art galleries have also been developed in this southeast area. I believe this area will flourish in the future . So, today, we’re going to unbox teamLab Biovortex Kyoto, which is scheduled to open this fall. It might become a travel option for everyone when they visit Kyoto in the future . Let’s Let ‘s go ! As soon as we enter, we see the iconic black corridor of teamLab. I think they are really good at creating an atmosphere, but it’s a little dark. Fumi, are you scared? It’s a little bit . I have night blindness. TeamLab venues in different places have different concepts. For example, the teamLab Biovortex Kyoto , which will open in Kyoto soon , uses environment and perception as its main axis to explore the meaning of life and existence. You can see some wooden boards on the ground that look like they are under construction. This is because they are still in preparation. The official opening will be in October. The area here is very large. It is currently the largest teamLab in Japan, with a total area of 10,000 square meters. We were invited to participate today as media . The staff just told us that the works we can see today are actually only about one-tenth of them , so we are looking forward to the official opening . How large will the facility be when it officially opens ? Oh my god, I must come again for myself. The first work we saw after entering the venue was “Massless Amorphous This work, Sculpture, is being exhibited in Japan for the first time. The seemingly gigantic sculpture is actually made up of soap, water, and air, floating in the space to form a massive, blurred form. Before entering, you ‘ll be provided with raincoats and goggles. You can quietly observe or immerse yourself in the bubbles to interact with the work . The sculpture, formed by the bubbles, changes shape based on the audience’s interaction. After being destroyed, it regenerates and regenerates, just like the structure of a cell, capable of metabolism and reproduction. This work symbolizes the order of life. Is there a path here? I tell you, that’s part of the fun of teamLab : getting lost in the venue. We’ll find out by walking around. Oh my! God is so beautiful! I arrived in Pingxi in a split second and unexpectedly encountered one of their signature works. You can go inside, right? Okay, sure. But I think this piece is similar to this one I’ve seen before at teamLab in Azabudai Hills, and I think the most interesting thing about it is that you can actually go inside and become a part of the work, or you can choose to be a spectator. This work, reminiscent of traditional Taiwanese sky lanterns, is also exhibited at Borderless in Azabudai Hills . Using a unique mathematical formula, these lights are arranged to illuminate in response to people’s footsteps. When someone stops, the light closest to them begins to flicker, then continues to the next light, allowing people’s movement to interact with the lights, forming a continuous trail of light. The work exists because people exist , and each unique audience interaction creates a random display, a concept that the teamLab team has always wanted to emphasize. I also find this non-repeatability very romantic and beautiful. “The Way of Birds” The exhibition hall “Birds” is a giant semicircular canvas projecting a 3D image. You can stand, sit, or lie down to enjoy the work in your most comfortable , yet non-disturbing, way. The spherical projection’s three-dimensional effect allows you to follow the mysterious and beautiful flocks of birds in the image , immersing yourself in the work as if you’ve entered another time and space. “Morphing Continuum” is composed of balloons floating in the air. In space, the bubbles follow the air currents , forming unique trajectories. Sometimes they dance wildly , sometimes they coalesce into towering structures , making the spheres appear alive. These vibrant spheres create a unique environment, within which a unique order unique to that environment emerges, subverting the traditional notion that existence is equal to form. In the exhibition hall, you can feel the force of the spheres hitting your body, and the sound and light effects create a unique atmosphere. I find this space truly magical and captivating. Flowers are another element that teamLab loves to use. This time, beautiful flower works can also be seen in the corridor exhibition hall , where they wither and bloom in the space. , regeneration presents the most brilliant life to every audience who is willing to stay, and the lyrical and beautiful music makes people feel very moved and can’t help but stay in the space a little longer. This flower work has not yet been named. I am looking forward to seeing a more complete interpretation of teamLab when it officially opens in October 2025. We have finished watching it. What we saw today is only a small part of it. It is actually still under construction. I can’t wait to see all the exhibits when it opens. I really think it is worthy of teamLab . It never disappoints me every time. Moreover, because we participated in the media preview today , there was a tour guide to help us explain. I was very moved by what he said just now because he said that they rented this piece of land The contract was for 60 years , and it took five years to finally build and prepare this venue. It will continue to be exhibited here for the next 55 years. He explained that Kyoto is a city rich in history and culture, and although teamLab is a new facility , it will slowly accompany Kyoto as it continues to build its history. I was deeply moved. I truly believe it will forge its own path, different from the other branches, and become a new popular tourist destination in Kyoto . It will definitely be a new popular tourist destination in Kyoto because of its incredibly convenient location. It’s less than a 10-minute walk from Kyoto Station, and the entire venue is so large you can spend a whole day there. Today, I’d like to quickly introduce the newly opened teamLab Biovortex Kyoto. I’m really looking forward to seeing how exciting it will be after its official opening. If you’ve actually visited, please leave a comment below to share your experience. If you like our unboxing video of teamLab Biovortex Kyoto, please like, subscribe, share, and activate the bell. See you next time. Bye-bye!
