This shrimp siu mai, chrysanthemum siu mai, is so interesting I see there are six pieces of shrimp inside Doesn’t it look like the ones we ate last time at Chigang? Kind of like this These prices are cheaper in Guangzhou Really not cheap It’s really not cheap Even if it’s organic vegetables, it’s this price Why is it so expensive It’s like this I’ve never lived in a detached house like this before There’s even a swimming pool outside It can’t be a shipping container, can it? I don’t know Shipping containers would be in trouble, I don’t know I wonder if there will be a lot of mosquitoes Snack shop Very beautiful — this photo Go to a place you’ve never been That’s Sihui Sihui belongs to Zhaoqing Last time we went to Xinhui This time we went to Sihui; Xinhui is not part of Zhaoqing Xinhui is the home of chenpi. Sihui is part of Zhaoqing. I often mix these two places up Entering the toll station This is Qingfeng Toll Station in Baiyun District 2.86 million, four rooms Baiyun District, Guangzhou Okay, we’re getting off the expressway Finally arrived Sihui — this is called Sihui Take a look at the first impressions of Sihui Actually, I haven’t been here before Very close to Guangzhou Different from Xinhui — must be distinguished Two hours to Xinhui Xinhui is much farther away, over by Jiangmen Sihui is right next to Zhaoqing Jade market There are many jade markets here Let’s have some morning tea first Good morning, viewers. It is now nine o’clock in the morning We soon arrived at Sihui So early we went for morning tea; that’s where we went in And there’s a shopping mall next to it Chang Da Chang As for drinking tea, it’s this thing called Four… Lingnan dim sum Very lively. We saw no one downstairs. I also want to ask ma’am, did you choose the wrong place? It’s different once you come up There’s a table that’s just been cleared Right here We’ve found seats again As I just mentioned Sihui here — this tea house is bigger than expected There’s nobody downstairs; I don’t know why. But upstairs it’s filled as soon as you come up. Although it’s still not as good as those in Nanhai So luxurious, so huge But there are actually more people than expected First, wash the teacups a bit Time to be dazzled again by the menu There don’t seem to be any discounted dim sum here But it doesn’t matter — they use this kind of special-offer dim sum instead of giving a discount Nine yuan nine We ordered a fresh shrimp chrysanthemum siu mai A bit more traditional Deer antler mushroom dumplings — this is also very tempting We can have water chestnut cake Besides that, there’s also Steamed taro cake with preserved olives — you can try this And there’s cheung fun (rice noodle rolls) There are many other options too, like chive and fresh shrimp cheung fun Scallion and egg rice roll Stone-pot beef brisket rice roll I feel like having this one Portuguese tart Black sesame cake Chive pancake Something a bit novel Pineapple bun Nine dollars and nine cents Not too big We don’t eat congee anymore Earlier we did consider ordering congee Bead-filled tofu pudding My daughter came and liked it Also doughnuts, i.e. donuts Chicken mid wings These cowboy ribs look very tempting And also red date cake Red date sand cake Never heard of it But these fill you up after just one bite And there are also flaky pancakes These are Indian parathas There’s even hand-shaken lemon tea How interesting There are a few things we want to verify about our visit to Sihui Because beforehand I watched a very famous mainland blogger He has been to many small towns That caught my interest at the time In fact, that’s true — I looked it up too I verified whether what he said was real County-level city Sihui is a county-level city Per capita GDP is even higher than Shenzhen’s Why is it like this I found several reasons in his video First, there will be car manufacturers here, like XPeng Motors Will be in Sihui Sihui has their production base here This is one of them Second, the jade and stone market here is very booming All the way we saw everything was like that Both of these are high-GDP, very high value-added products Selling rice noodle rolls isn’t the same Only talking about GDP The gap is very large Maybe buying a single gem can equal your whole day’s GDP Although we can’t say it like that We can’t use that as a comparison GDP — but in fact, if it’s high, it’s high That’s actually how it is Secondly, the permanent resident population of Sihui here isn’t actually that large Based on these two to three factors So it will have a relatively high per capita GDP This time we are seeking to verify these two things I thought just now that the teahouse would have no customers It really wasn’t The decor really isn’t as lavish as those in Nanhai Those are outrageous This place is also very beautiful I forgot to tell everyone one thing We drove here by car Parked downstairs There just happened to be a charging station Of course it’s charging It was fully charged in 30 minutes This morning we drove all the way from Guangzhou How much electricity was used? 11 kWh were used Left with a full charge How much did it cost in the end? You really can’t guess it—yes, it’s this one Used 10.11 yuan for charging 5 yuan per person. Very cost-effective I originally planned not to charge it It was fully charged and I only used 10% Why charge it? But right in front of you, it’s still that cheap Of course it needs charging Zhaoqing has done very well with this infrastructure Eat shrimp dumplings We’re eating shrimp dumplings again But this time it’s a bit different We will now start eating our breakfast These are four-colored shrimp dumplings That’s right — eat the white one first A bowl of soup Very high-end In addition, another viewer left a comment a long time ago He wants to come to Sihui to see the place where he grew up If time permits, we will go too Actually it’s not very far from the city center The shrimp inside are very tender and quite large And because they’re soaked in broth, they don’t fall apart Very large shrimp Rice noodle roll with pork intestine Rice noodle roll with beef brisket and pork intestine Shrimp dumplings are very good Very good — the shrimp is pleasantly firm and tasty Normally I don’t drink these kinds of soups They’re usually made from a lot of seasonings mixed together Also Sihui here I just said it’s a county-level city What does county-level city mean? Let me explain to everyone Let’s not use Guangzhou as an example Let’s use Taishan as an example Taishan belongs to Jiangmen City It’s a county-level city Taishan has a different economic system What county-level cities are we referring to For example, Boluo is a county-level city under Huizhou City. It has the highest GDP among county-level cities in the whole Guangdong Province. 95.2 billion is actually a very impressive figure Sihui ranks third But when it comes to per capita, Sihui ranks first There are also places like Gaozhou Puning — these are all county-level cities Taishan City is on the list too Everyone, take a look Taishan City is 547 If our Sihui is 813 The economic structures are different, so they cannot be compared directly But they are being compared at the same level It’s different from what I just mentioned — it might be compared to Shenzhen Because that would not be a comparison at the same level At the very least it might be a county-level city Its GDP could even be higher than that of some cities Some cities are very small As for which ones, we won’t list and go through them one by one here Keep eating, this shrimp siu mai Chrysanthemum siu mai So interesting — I can see shrimp inside Six pellets Doesn’t it look like last time we were at those we reached at Chigang Kind of like this Handmade Usually these are all handmade There is some coriander inside Some prawns Inside is fish meat A very strong fishy taste Not like Hong Kong’s fish-and-pork siu mai Then it’s not Grass carp (鯪魚) Carp roe with shrimp It’s rare to eat something like this They’re all siu mai and all shrimp dumplings, but the methods are different If we’re talking about Hong Kong’s GDP Although the authorities haven’t published it the information I found comes from Mainland China’s official media 2024: 2.9 trillion 29,000 That’s 29,000 trillion A trillion is… Very hard to calculate But here it’s only a bit over 80 billion The difference is here — many digits after the decimal point Of course compared with Hong Kong, Hong Kong is much stronger Everyone in the country knows that over in Hong Kong the wages are of course high No question about it Its GDP is of course far behind compared to here Of course, the mainland’s statistical criteria may not be the same as Hong Kong’s But here in Sihui According to official data The resident population is only 680,000 — a small population A small population base And they also work in those industries, jade and the like It would be relatively more productive. Migrant populations tend to run these businesses more often. Everyone is a boss — put simply That’s the result. Per capita GDP could possibly reach 120,000 a year. This is from the International Monetary Fund, an authoritative source Hong Kong is $53,000 Very high level. Luxembourg $135,000 — those places have few people, so there’s no comparison Even higher than Switzerland 81,000 This is ridiculous. So why does Hong Kong charge so much for dishwashing? But this says it’s even higher than Macau here Has always been higher than Macau Macau at 7.7 is not simple either Hong Kong is higher than Macau Even lower than Luxembourg and the like With so few people there’s nothing to say Per capita GDP or any kind of GDP, whatever It’s okay — that’s not my concern The most important thing is that it’s tasty Those uncles in Shunde — the most important thing is that there’s good food I don’t care about that GDP stuff What is Hong Kong’s GDP per capita Globally high level 370,000 More than three times More than three to four times compared to here Actually, this is already considered quite high here Among county-level cities, remember that I’ll continue eating my delicious shrimp dumplings And see when it surpasses Luxembourg Then go to this one Finish eating this first Rice noodle rolls are very pretty Why leave it sitting so long? Actually it’s just because it was kept warm Ate it only at the end Very pretty/appealing cheung fun (rice noodle roll) Very nice How much is this? I don’t know This is the thick kind of cheung fun Not the thin kind The coarse powder but the thick kind There may be many new viewers who don’t know Actually, many viewers already know First, I’m actually not much of a foodie, just an ordinary one But there is one thing I really understand, and that’s cheung fun (rice noodle rolls) Because I used to sell rice noodle rolls (cheung fun) The worst ones are the transparent kind Those are called yau fun This kind is just coarse rice flour These ones aren’t that easy to preserve Kept in the refrigerator for a day and they can’t be eaten Because even if it hasn’t turned, it will still fall apart when steamed And even if it doesn’t fall apart, eating it can still make people sick Especially in hot weather, rice and related foods will ferment If it’s the type called “youfen” then none of these things will be produced they have to mix in some unknown stuff But this kind isn’t one of them Actually, the selling price is the same Delicious — that’s exactly the type I was just talking about Hard to preserve The kind of noodles that must be sold fresh and finished that day They don’t break completely when you pull them apart But of course they’re not going to break too easily Because it only happens after being left for a long time.. This kind that falls apart No need to reserve a tea spot Maybe there’s no tea charge if you come for morning dim sum I originally thought sitting in this spot would be very expensive It’s Gongfu tea — enjoy the view outside But waive the tea charge The beef brisket is braised very well Then cut this kind of cheung fun into small pieces This is even better Because most people do it this way Add a little scallion Not too much oil. Don’t touch the stone pot. Usually because it gets charred very easily, sticks to the bottom, so when we eat it First, we need to stir it well. Otherwise the rice rolls will stick to it. All the food here is very tasty No disappointments At this price Depends on what you order Go to a Cantonese restaurant Try not to order Western desserts Cakes and the like Because it’s not professional You should order some mid-range ones Makes sense Those are basically for stocking up Eat until full, no tea charge 67 yuan Worth eating Once it reached 10 o’clock, the customers left Playing cards or something else? Not sure We can go too There’s a one-day trip from here to Gongbei, Zhuhai — one-way 78 yuan One-way is expensive because they don’t know what time you’ll be back 78 yuan for one trip — better to take the city rail Okay, then let’s head to another area A place called Dawang That’s exactly what we were just talking about Why Sihui here A place where the economy is strong and per capita GDP is this high That would be the high-tech development zone Having a small population is certainly one very important factor There are also enough industries Zhaoqing will of course have even more advantages We’re not saying it’s enough to have a certain number of Starbucks In fact, there’s a Starbucks here in Sihui Or even a Tesla Supercharger — Sihui has those too By contrast, those smaller cities really don’t have them This is Chang Da Chang Since we’re here, let’s take a walk There aren’t many people So the per capita is high, that’s right There’s a Starbucks here The office building next door is so tall Feels like it’s even better than Zengcheng Not many people There are also McDonald’s, milk tea shops, and various others Only 600,000 permanent residents; some are from outside. I say 1,000,000. Not that many. There are about a bit over 600,000 permanent residents These are the local prices If income is high and GDP is high, will prices be high? Actually, that’s not the case in the mainland It’s less of a special offer These are all on sale Very quiet There are a few factors. First, it is summer now. Second, the summer break has already ended. The mall Chang Dachang Usually we judge whether a shopping mall is good One way is by looking at the gold shops — in fact, it’s these that come For well-known reasons There are also places that sell phones; these are authorized stores Everyone can see, authorized stores That means they are not directly operated (not company-owned) McDonald’s Also many people’s Milk tea shops Why are there so many licensed stores It’s actually a bit like a franchise model But with them involved, the franchising expands a bit faster And this one too It turned into Watsons, but there are no customers inside yet Maybe it just opened, the older sister just started her shift My old boss used to run a laundry service He really wants to open more shops This way to reduce costs — this approach is correct He just doesn’t know what to do: exactly where to open them Those of us in operations downstairs Just tell him, look at a few things McDonald’s is definitely everywhere is not a good indicator The first one is Watsons The second one is Starbucks Look at these few factors If they’re mostly larger amounts Because laundry and things like that are nonessential expenses If he doesn’t do laundry, he won’t be unable to survive But restaurants like the two we just mentioned Starbucks and Watsons You won’t die if you don’t go there But if there is, make that clear first Their local business environment and consumer spending are sufficient Enough to support it — at the very least, people will use it Second, at the very least the local government departments must be able to think it through and realize they need to bring in these businesses to enrich their own industries At that time we didn’t have a shop in Sihui Also a supermarket, Chang Dachang Supermarket Next door they sold Apple phones These all come from authorized stores They sell sneakers — genuine, licensed 65% off. No refunds, no exchanges When I was in middle school I liked wearing this brand the most There’s an audience member in my group who is in the United States He also bought a pair to wear — it’s really funny The foot traffic isn’t very heavy — it’s normal. We’re all just here to enjoy the air conditioning. It might be a bit better by the weekend Today is Monday. Had enough fun last night. School starts today, so of course no one is here. This place is called Sihui Square I heard this place is very lively at night; people sing over there See whether this mall is bustling See whether enough shops have opened Watching the crowd is useless This is the slowest time of the week Look at how many shops are open These are all open — there will be business later. Some are not open. Not all of them are open; a few places are closed These people haven’t started work yet See if any prime shops are for rent Last time I went to that No. 5 apron it was also at this time There are more people working inside than buying things And they still don’t open for business These are empty shops Seafood buffet restaurant Lunch is only 58 yuan Member top-up: if you don’t top up it’s 62 yuan Already prepared The 90s vibe There were a lot of these in the 90s They’re all on Beijing Road I still remember Dabao Reef was 88 yuan There are also many 39-yuan seafood places, and Shangxiajiu has a lot too There is Northwestern cuisine It’s almost ready because it’s 10:30 Guests may arrive at 11 o’clock Tidied up very neatly Tidied up very neatly at the manager’s request They must have tidied up neatly because there are guests at noon There are snack sellers ahead Look at this one, see how much the pay is We see the cheapest dishwasher job: 3,500 yuan Serving food 3,300 yuan — these are the lowest That is 100 yuan per day And it says no educational qualifications required Don’t look at academic qualifications — let ability speak. But if the supervisors are better, they’re all 7,000 yuan, 5,000 yuan. It depends on how good the economy is; sometimes it also depends on how many hires there are In some places we go, there aren’t even any job openings. Some places have no recruitment at all—we’ve gone to see. Hard to say where It’s hard to say — if you say it out loud you’ll just get scolded. Those come from national data. Placed last — there’s really not even a recruitment Whether the food is good is one thing, and they’re hiring. And the wages aren’t low. Like in Guangzhou, they’re hiring everywhere We can go to Shangxiajiu and everywhere else Not just Shangxiajiu—there are tons You can’t find work; you can clap your hands at the door and still not get hired Hiring staff for all positions at the milk tea shop and restaurant Especially many restaurants This one serves beef rice Walking slowly through the mall, I realized It’s actually not completely empty Once the mall opened, it began to feel somewhat lively Some children don’t have to go to school Grandparents bring them to the mall to trade and cool off in the air conditioning What we’re talking about are the national statistics that are being discussed Don’t assume we’re just speaking subjectively No — present the data first, then discuss substance Verify whether the data from its certification is genuine It’s precisely because the numbers were so low that I went to check that place out To see if it’s really like that When I got there… I wasn’t talking about this place Go to Yunfu You see the data, I’ll take you to film it and show you He thought what we were talking about Because the mainland is different from the outside These figures must be published everywhere There needs to be a standard measure How could data like Hong Kong’s just now be fake? They’re internationally certified If you want to know whether a place is good, just look at its restaurants It’s obviously not open for business yet. Look at whether the restaurant from earlier was busy or not It was really busy just now — it filled up and I was surprised Hiring again What is eaten here? Steak buffet Negotiable there 59 yuan Also, let me explain further to make it clear All the data I just mentioned were all retrieved from official sources it’s not something I said All of them were downloaded from the official Guangdong Provincial Government website They always assume we are talking about Of course not Back to Yunfu Actually, Yunfu is a bit similar to here Because Yunfu’s industries are low-end and relatively singular To be honest, this place is also relatively singular But this isn’t a situation where… an industry is monopolized by a handful of people but rather many, many small merchants Let’s go make jewelry and jade I’ll see if ordinary shops are hiring There isn’t really any hiring Never wrote anything, no need to hire someone Let me give another example For instance in Yunfu, if I wanted to do the jade business it would be almost impossible Because no matter whether it’s funding or anything else you can’t do it in any respect It’s not about working with jade — it’s about mining How do you mine those stones? You might need some professional licenses. What can you do? You can only do retail. So the rich get richer The lower, the lower But this is different. You just take over a shop, get the goods, and sell them. Ask how much to sell them for and you’ll know Xpeng Motors is going to hire a lot of people There are many related industries around it But those Yunfu exploding diabase… My cousin (from my father’s side) also works with jade. Ordinary people can easily enter that market and compete together. Usually people like us who study accounting call that a perfectly competitive market Guangzhou is the place — actually they’re all pretty much the same As long as you want to do that sort of business, you can do it by putting up some money Hong Kong too But those in Yunfu are not like that How to do it Don’t say so much anymore In short, everyone can come back and see for themselves if they have the chance See with your own eyes We’re just taking everyone to have a look Just now at that place having tea — to be honest Before I came to Sihui, I didn’t believe what that blogger said was true I’m serious — I thought it would definitely be awful These malls have no people; there’s no one at dim sum and it’s expensive At least not this second Charging is also cheap — why is it cheap Usually go to a few places To put it bluntly, the poorer the charging, the more expensive it is Charging in larger groups is cheaper because the owners have invested money into it Of course he wants to take it back If it’s cheaper, more people will come to charge Get back the investment quickly and make more money Places that are poor don’t have them In poor areas, all the charging stations are blocked by gasoline cars I just couldn’t see it a moment ago Those seafood restaurants get all kinds of deliveries Go see for yourself and you’ll know Last time we went there we still had to walk through that night market No one But it just so happens to be raining So we’re planning to go to another place now Call Dawang There’s a market there; driving gets you there quickly How happy the dog is After much consideration, we decided to all go to Xingxing Supermarket to check prices and everything else It should be about the same as Guangzhou, not very different Go up here Haircuts here 15 yuan, 20 yuan Quick cuts only — washing and blow-drying not included Simple and short haircut Guangzhou is even cheaper Prices in Guangzhou are actually very low Like these So why do so many people flock to Guangzhou We often say when driving, why are there so many people Guangzhou’s income should be higher than here — that’s normal Ordinary people, not talking about the very rich Back to the servers: it should be somewhat higher in Guangzhou But the price index Housing should be more expensive than here Other than that There are also some even cheaper ones Some people say Guangzhou’s prices are lower than their small county town We went up to browse the supermarket Supermarkets are actually more or less the same Especially these large chains Look at what they’re being compared to Guangzhou has both expensive and cheap There are some high-quality ones that cost over 200,000 yuan per square meter There is Zhujiang New Town Pazhou Over a hundred million and there’s still one unit Expensive supermarket — a few hundred bucks and only a few pieces We’ve seen lychees sold for over a hundred dollars for five Did anyone buy them? On the contrary, there were people who did Because having money means not caring It’s like we’ve only lost twenty cents—would it hurt? We haven’t even reached the supermarket yet; we still have to pass by many of these famous-brand streets All the way I was just thinking you could spend a little money here Especially if you’re with kids, go and buy it in one go I don’t want to walk that far Went to the supermarket for a bit — it just opened. Are the prices considered high? Normal Shampoo and things like that aren’t necessary They’re all priced like this; see if there’s a special offer Chang Da Chang should be fine/easy to go to Better than CR Vanguard Much better, they sell meat Toothpaste and such are suitable, you can buy them It seems there’s still some at home Fifteen yuan Suddenly remembered we need to buy some soy sauce Look here to see if there’s any — there’s no reason not to This whole area is all selling everyday chemical products Hand soap, so pretty Like Walmart Big Very big They have everything—there are so many kinds of drinks to buy We’ll buy soy sauce Go to the area where food is sold This side is already for buying food Selling cakes Cookies Garden (Jia Dun). These were all transported here. The price is uniform: 17.9 yuan. Oreo 13.9 yuan Is Chang Dachang in Guangzhou… it’s difficult, there’s no land that big Finally came here to buy snacks Selling milk powder Same price as Coca-Cola All 18 dollars for six cans Guangdong cola — they sell these here Two and a half yuan — Chang Da Chang is selling them for two and a half Thai soda water Imported things aren’t expensive Could this have been made in Zhuhai It was made in Zhuhai But each is only 6.9 yuan Japanese-made items wouldn’t be this cheap They’re all domestically produced Made in Qingdao Buy coffee to drink. Unsweetened coffee 4.9 yuan These drinks aren’t expensive Just over five yuan for such a big one These are only 7.8 yuan 3.9 yuan Not expensive I’m not making up prices randomly Do supermarkets also make up prices randomly? Some do The groceries we bought last time were gone after eating them This one is 4.9 yuan, last time I bought it for 2 yuan Small cans, a lot of them Last time I bought this kind, here it’s 4.5 yuan Last time it was really a great deal In Xinhui it was only 2 yuan Here it’s 4.5 yuan — this one is actually more expensive But two yuan is far too cheap So I bought a lot of cans — eight, ten of them Finally arrived at the tangerine seller There are also many tangerines being sold here Do you want to buy mandarins or tangerines? Buy some. I already wanted to buy some last time Here are big durians, Monthong durians Next to them are big watermelons All of this place sells fruit Very convenient Once again confirming what was just said When I came in just now there was no one; they had just opened the door Now I see many people buying things Does everyone know why Usually summer vacation is the most troublesome time for parents Especially when we were kids, once we were older we’d just go out and play on our own When they were little you had to take them everywhere to play You had to keep an eye on them When the children go to school and are in those states, they call them “mythical beasts returning to their lairs” All those children have to go to school Mom can go to the supermarket to buy some things Pick him up when it’s time Usually some of them have lunch at school And nowadays elementary school students Classes have already been held for four days Not just only four days of school There are one or two afternoons off First grade of elementary school Don’t know why it’s being entrusted or what it’s supposed to do Only first grade Some subjects don’t need to be learned Instead, after being dismissed just go for a short run to burn off some energy After work hours, Mom comes to buy groceries again This one hasn’t started elementary school yet So I had to bring him along Are you cold? Come buy a bottle of soy sauce. Came to Sihui to buy soy sauce Actually, it was all made in Foshan Some were made in Xinhui Xinhui has Lee Kum Kee, I remember Lee Kum Kee Light Soy Sauce Which type of soy sauce do you usually eat? On the mainland How much is it? Eight yuan and ninety per stick Lightly salted, eight yuan and ninety per stick Not eating anymore. There’s sushi here too. Sashimi. Japanese cuisine. Thirty-seven yuan These prices are cheaper in Guangzhou It’s really not cheap Even when some of the vegetables are organic, they’re still this price Why is it so expensive Purchased centrally? I don’t know Everything else is cheaper, like the fruit and so on But the dishes are expensive Ningxia choy sum is cheap I saw spinach for 12.8 yuan Yellow chives 12.8 yuan normal Large ridge gourd 2.3 yuan These are large ridge gourds A head of lettuce 5 yuan How much does it weigh? There are only two plants. 5 yuan per jin Five yuan a jin — that’s expensive Not even half of Xilang Market Those aren’t fresh goods; these are fresh Pork has a fixed price; those things can’t be changed So much more expensive At least two dollars more Xilang Market, three yuan fifty Cheap. If these don’t sell, you can take them away. These are cheap Vegetables are expensive Shajia, Meibei are not expensive either Maybe near the riverbank How much are nine-joint shrimp 52.8 yuan per jin All expensive About 30-odd yuan to go back Only 20 yuan at Shayuan Produced nearby in Sanshui and delivered quickly Such a big bottle of Jianlibao Only twelve yuan Someone’s tossing a flying pancake here Will remember this kind of packaging Those born in the ’80s will know Time to book the hotel We looked for a long time Looked at this It’s a short drive away Listen to the wind, enjoy the rain, watch the stars and gaze at the moon We chose to watch the stars and gaze at the moon It’s like this I’ve never lived in this kind of detached house before There’s even a swimming pool outside It can’t be a shipping container, can it? I don’t know Containers would be miserable — you wouldn’t know. I wonder if there will be a lot of mosquitoes. A small courtyard by the embankment looks like this Make do for one night — the evening is so beautiful And there’s barbecue Very good I also looked at another place called 宜尚酒店 The money spent is about the same, off by only a few dozen dollars How to choose? This one for stargazing and moon-watching This one is a bit more exciting here If it’s fine, it’s fine; if not, it’s a big hassle Then you’ll get bitten by mosquitoes all night Yishang is like this: a twin-bedded room 254 yuan, 10 yuan short, 8 yuan How big is the bed? 1.35 meters, still a bit bigger Bigger, but it’s a chain. A standard business hotel. I’ve never stayed at that one First drive over there to take a look They can return it — go take a look first As for those jade pieces, you can look or not, whichever you prefer We don’t buy them Even if we did, we’d only spend around thirty dollars You can’t buy jade for thirty dollars; there are lots of fakes all over the streets All the houses in the back are fully occupied This is the property/estate Also rebuilt the house If you’re here, of course you’ll buy a house to live in Across the way, because of jade, there’s money There’s a large shopping mall built here There’s a CBD here Office buildings It must be those surrounding areas Jade, jewelry, and gemstones—many of them And many houses Property listings Crossing River Look Hotel Even if you don’t stay, take a look If it’s not good after watching, come back to Yishang A few minutes’ drive Just across the river from Jiang Moth Ridge Moth Ridge Bridge Guanhai Road — you can see the sea There are basically no people riding bicycles or walking here Everyone uses electric scooters or drives Shared bikes are nowhere to be seen No use Too few people — sharing bikes aren’t worth it By the mountain side Seems very comfortable Seems like it’s pronounced “Suíjiāng” Sihui — the confluence of four rivers So that’s how Sihui got its name Sihui is where four rivers converge Which rivers are they? There should be the Xijiang River That really stumped me Beijiang, Xijiang, Dongjiang, Sui River I was speaking casually — seems like it really was There shouldn’t be a Dongjiang Beijiang, Sui River, Naijiang Finally it flows into the Pearl River The “yu” in honor This is where we live Yu Cheng Hotel is here It’s really big This seems to be a new development area And we also saw the house we wanted to live in No need for buses here anymore Everyone has a car Xiaoyuan Guesthouse — you’ll know as soon as you go in First, there’s definitely parking Like camping Actually what we fear most is too much sun Everything else is fine It isn’t those things, right? It won’t be those—too much sun, don’t want Camping No matter how fun, it’s useless. Absolutely don’t get hot It’s very hot now Like a dock The hotel is beautiful It’s not living in a shipping container, right? I don’t know Drive up and you’ll see Look ahead and you’ll know Bar Street It should be this location Nice spot — it’s the small riverside garden up ahead The hotel is right here There are rooms upstairs. These are expensive — over four hundred dollars Over four hundred dollars, I won’t stay here Staying at these campsites There’s a pier next to it, right here Let’s see whether we’ll stay or not The scenery is very open There are people fishing below Just keep walking in like this Dikebank Court The problem is anyone can come in, just like I am right now Cars can’t enter No entry without permission — something like that I don’t think it’s good, to be honest Anyone can come in; each person their own house But he locked it. How will we open the door after renting it? Here Like this There is a stool These are good for BBQ I’m afraid it will be too sunny Will there be a lot of people at night? Or maybe not many people at all It’s so contradictory — this place is a pier I can see across the way the place we just drove past Chang Da Chang Plaza — I even see it from here It’s very close Nobody’s here I don’t feel like taking any chances either Or maybe it’s when it’s not that sunny Now it’s drying in the sun Listen to the wind — we were just about to order this Almost hit the button These are for playing around with barbecue But those are shipping containers — very hot containers There isn’t a single person around The city is beautiful and sparsely populated High per capita GDP See that mountain, that tower Each of them has a yacht That can’t be Or bosses who trade in jade and gemstones — of course they have yachts We’ve been to so many places, like Sanshui It’s hard to find yachts I can’t believe there’s actually a yacht marina There’s a bar upstairs Some of them are two-story How many families live in a two-story building? Spend the night This kind is best for arranging a party together Drink beer Roast chicken wings There are also some tent rooms further back Let’s go take a look — you can enter here Now I want to buy a cup of coffee but there isn’t anywhere to get one There are a few campervans And there’s a beach That housing estate we just passed by — we went around it like that Its surroundings are clean Clean Not the kind that’s filthy with lots of trash and debris But there’s just no one And we’re worried it will be too hot Maybe it’s only us — better not do that There are also some seats where people are eating Then who will sit there to sunbathe It’s very beautiful at night It’s no longer the kind of heat you get in Guangzhou There’s none of that feeling of being sunburned and wanting to leave quickly Actually, right now we’re all under the sun No longer that hurried feeling of Guangzhou Like going to a small foreign town Where everything is yachts Very comfortable There is a baked goods snack shop Very beautiful, like this photo Cool autumn, come have a beer It’s very comfortable It feels like a time many years ago, before the pandemic Like going to Koh Samet in Thailand We all lived in this kind of house back then in Thailand Okay, we’re back in the car Still booking some chain hotels — we were afraid there would be no one Better not think about it yet — book now It’s only a 12-minute drive from here And that place, it says it’s the Sihui Tiangong Market I’ll go take a look nearby The next morning I’ll go see the Tianguang market If you don’t stay where you were just now These residences are also very pretty. You can view the river from here. Very beautiful, and the room types are new. This is a big hotel, but it’s just considered expensive Too expensive — over 400 yuan a night Some even cost 1,000 yuan We stayed at a chain hotel; it was cheaper It’s like this If you’re talking about booking hotels within the country Generally bookings can be canceled — the vast majority can Most of them can be canceled We just cancelled like that earlier We didn’t have a reservation earlier But even if there was a reservation, you can still cancel If you haven’t checked in before six o’clock, you can cancel and get a refund So we usually come to take a look and leave if it doesn’t suit us Often, but not for chain hotels Because chains all know what it’s like The chain backed out once Zhanjiang Those who didn’t go to Wangjiang left The ones who are at Wangjiang here don’t want to live (here) instead They don’t want to live in shipping containers because it’s very hot Hot day In the river Water stubble great monk me

The name “Sihui” means “four rivers meeting,” referring to the confluence of the Xijiang, Beijiang, Suijiang, and Longjiang rivers within its territory. Its geographical location is strategic, bordering Sanshui District of Foshan to the east, Dinghu District of Zhaoqing to the south, Gaoyao District to the southwest, Guangning County to the northwest, and Qingxin District of Qingyuan to the northeast, making it a crucial transportation hub connecting the Pearl River Delta with western and northwestern Guangdong. 1.

  3. 3:10 you mentioned this restaurant decor is not as good… wait till you see what we have in usa 🤣even the worst is so much better than anything in usa.
