Hello, it’s Minami. This time, I’ll be bringing you the first installment of my tour of hot springs in Kagoshima Prefecture: the Kirishima Open-Air Baths. I’m Minami, born and raised in Kagoshima, and I’ll be your guide. First, we’ll head to a wonderful open-air bath in the forest. Yes, we’ve arrived. Takachiho Ranch. It’s the same ranch you often see in supermarkets and convenience stores on Children’s Day, with its carp streamers. sheep Kokin-chan Here, you can enjoy gourmet food, scenery, and even pet the sheep. The soft-serve ice cream! So rich and delicious. The mountain behind is so beautiful. I was surprised, sorry, I didn’t bring any snacks. So cute ! warm wool I have this sweater. The feel of it reminds me. the shorn ones. Have you often visited Kirishima Shrine? I’ve been here a few times with family and friends, and it’s a power spot in Kagoshima Prefecture, attracting both tourists and locals. I can already see it. Is that the main shrine? Is that Sakurajima? It’s cloudy today, but Satsuma Jyosekiya is a recommended souvenir shop in Kagoshima. The burnt butter is delicious, so I ran out. I think it’s a good souvenir. I bought it. Everyone buys souvenirs from Satsuma Jyosekiya, and this is their most famous item: the baked donut. I’d never seen lemon before, but it looked delicious, so I bought it. The burnt butter was sold out today, so it was delicious. It wasn’t fried, so it was delicious. Next, we went to Kareigawa no Yu, a private family bath. Kagoshima is a treasure trove of family baths. Enjoy a private hot spring at your leisure. What did you think of the Kirishima Open-Air Bath? I enjoyed the wild open-air bath, a rare find in Tokyo . 🗾 2025年の春に鹿児島湯巡りに行ってきました。

【川沿いの共同浴場🏞️】
川沿いの小さな集落にある共同浴場。茶色い湯の花が舞う、アワアワ新鮮のお湯。
管理してくださっている地元の方に感謝しつつ、静かに大切に入力させていただきました。

【竹林の湯🎋】
霧島の山道を抜けた先、竹林が生い茂る川べりにひっそり湧く、知る人ぞ知る野湯。誰かが作ったのか、それとも自然がその形を作ったのか──岩のくぼみそのままの湯船はワイルドそのもの。日本昔ばなしのような世界観。思いきって飛び込めば、非日常をまるごと味わえます。

【かれい川の湯♨️】
鹿児島は貸切の家族風呂の宝庫です。「かれい川の湯」はその中でも温泉好きから愛される場所。天然水の水風呂、川の眺めが素敵な外気浴ゾーン、休憩個室と到れりつくせりな施設。

【高千穂牧場🐂】
霧島連山の眺めが素晴らしい牧場で、グルメもアクティビティも楽しめる素敵スポット。芝生で絶景を眺めながらソフトクリームを食べました。連休中だったので家族連れで賑わっていました。

【霧島神宮⛩️】
古代から信仰を集めてきた由緒ある神宮で鹿児島屈指のパワースポット。参道は杉の大木に囲まれ、歩くだけで心が洗われるような神聖な空気に満ちています。
