Bay Resort Hotel Naruto Kurage (Naruto Kaigetsu) is accessible by highway bus from Kobe Sannomiya. Here’s a route from the Naruto Park Exit bus stop that offers a scenic view to the hotel. There are two highway bus stops from JR Sannomiya Station. This is Mint Kobe (first floor of the green building) , and this is the Shinki Bus stop. Departure times vary by bus company, so it’s best to take a bus with minimal wait times. There’s a bus stop (not available for boarding) on the Naruto Kaikyo Bridge, which connects Awaji Island to Tokushima . If you’re lucky, you’ll be able to see the Naruto whirlpools. This video shows a walking route with a view. If you’re using the Kaigetsukan Group shuttle bus, get off at the next highway Naruto bus stop or the Otsuka Museum of Art bus stop. Reservations for the free shuttle bus must be made at least one day in advance . For details, see the official website. At the end of the road, turn left and climb the stairs. You’ll find the Onaruto Bridge Memorial Hall Eddy, one of Naruto’s tourist attractions. Go down the stairs and cross the crosswalk on the left. Looking up, we see Eska Hill Naruto, an observation deck offering a panoramic view of the Naruto Strait. We continue down the slope. On the right, we can see the Naruto Kaikyo Bridge, where we got off the bus earlier. The whirlpool observation boat just happened to be approaching the whirlpools. Going through the tunnel and down the slope, we arrive at Uzu no Michi, a tourist attraction. The entrance is on the right, and after walking under the Naruto Kaikyo Bridge, we can get up close to the whirlpools and see them from directly above. Continuing further, we arrive at Naruto Park’s Senjojiki Observatory. Enjoy the whirlpool view from the cafe, Uzurism, and sweets made with Tokushima ingredients. We took a slight detour to the observation deck. Enjoy the view of the Naruto Strait, including the whirlpools. After passing Senjojiki, which has souvenir shops and restaurants serving Tokushima cuisine, we see Bay Resort Hotel Naruto Kurage on our right. Continue a little further, but instead of going through this tunnel, turn right. There’s a small hotel sign. Apparently, because this is a national park, there are restrictions on the size of signs.
