静けさの中に、生活の温度が漂う。神奈川県大和市、中央林間から南林間を経て大和駅へ。住宅街を抜けてたどり着いた白笹稲荷大明神の境内は、地域の祈りが静かに息づく場所だった。塀越しに見える広告や雑草の茂った空き地、時を止めたような建物の並びが、この町の変化の速度と迷いを映している。途中にあった愛育病院は、凛とした佇まいでその場の空気を引き締める。予定を変更して向かった南林間では、放射状に広がる駅前の構造に、戦前の都市計画の記憶が残されていた。焼き芋の看板、外国人の生活拠点、米軍機の音。すべてが混ざり合いながら、日常を構成している。そして、最後に立ち寄った山神社では、新しく整えられた社殿と、そこに積み重なってきた時間の重みが並んでいた。祈りは、静かに時を超えて息づいている。暑さに揺らぎながら歩いた道には、暮らしと記憶の層が幾重にも重なっていた。
