This resort hotel offers a worldly view that’s hard to believe is on Earth. Today, I’d like to introduce Desert Rock Resort, the newest resort hotel built in Saudi Arabia. Hello. This is the adventure of the ZEO family, a married couple who quit their jobs to travel the world. This channel aims to visit all the places we all dream of visiting at least once in our lifetime, bringing you breathtaking views from around the world. Please subscribe and like before watching the video. Today, I’d like to introduce Desert Rock, a resort filled with an otherworldly atmosphere that makes you feel like you’ve landed on Mars. Set in the rapidly developing Red Sea region of Saudi Arabia , the resort’s unique design embeds the architecture into the rocky mountains and valleys without disturbing the natural surroundings. Everyone who visits here is transported to another world. Before getting into the vlog, I’d like to give you a brief overview of the location. Located in the mountainous region near the Western Red Sea in Saudi Arabia , it’s actually a sister resort to Shebara, the Saudi Arabian Red Sea resort that I introduced last time, which looks as if it was created by AI . The futuristic design of this resort was also incredibly impressive, so if you haven’t seen Shebara’s video yet, I highly recommend checking it out. Saudi Arabia is currently focusing its efforts on developing the Red Sea region as part of the Red Sea Project. In addition to Shebara and Desert Rock, various other unique resorts are being constructed. It’s one of the most talked-about destinations in the world right now . I highly recommend combining this with the historic Al Ula in central Saudi Arabia as a travel route around the area, so I’ll continue to introduce it in future vlogs . So, without further ado, let’s enjoy Desert Rock, a resort hotel that feels like you’ve landed on Mars. First, some important planning. The overwater villa at Shebara, where I stayed last time, was quite luxurious, costing nearly ¥600,000 per night, but the sister resort, Desert Rock, is slightly cheaper. The villas in the valley above ground are the cheapest, at ¥330,000 per night. The cave-style rooms on the upper floors are about ¥200,000 more expensive, at ¥540,000 per night. Since we’d come all the way here and stayed overnight , we wanted to stay in a cave-style room with a great view, so we booked the Mountain Cave Suite. I’ll let you know how it turned out later, but I think it was a great decision. And this time, to make the most of this luxurious overnight stay, we conserved our energy by staying at a modest hotel about an hour’s drive from here. The next day, we drove to Desert Rock early in the morning, planning to maximize our stay. It’s finally here. Finally, the day has arrived. New villas are springing up all over the Red Sea coast in Saudi Arabia. There were three villas we really wanted to stay at, so they’re a little pricey. But even though they’re expensive, we really wanted to stay there since we’d come all the way to Saudi Arabia, so we decided to try each villa, one night at a time, and experience them all. That’s what we’ll do starting today. The most important thing is to enjoy our time. So, we’ll make sure to capture the footage, so let’s have fun. Let’s have fun. Yes, we’ve finally entered the premises. As you can see, an unreal, unreal world is already unfolding from within the premises. It’s like we’re really staying on Mars. No, it’s really amazing. I can’t believe they even thought of building a resort here. It’s amazing that a place like this even exists on Earth. Oh man, this is a lifelong memory. Amazing. This is incredible. Amazing . Finally, we’ve arrived at Desert Rock, one of the Saudi Arabian Red Sea projects. Inspired by traditional Saudi Arabian architecture, where temples and cities were carved out of rock, the design makes the most of the natural terrain. The interior and exterior of the rooms are meticulously designed to blend seamlessly into the surroundings, creating a breathtakingly beautiful design. Nowhere on Earth could you find a resort that combines such impact and luxury. Yes. We’ve just arrived at Desert Rock. The surrounding area is like a Mars, literally. And the temperature is 45°C right now. It’s hot. It’s incredibly hot. Apparently, it hit 60°C last week, so we couldn’t go outside. He’s valet-parking our car and helping us unpack. We’re walking empty-handed to reception. It’s too hot. It’s crazy. Amazing and hot all at the same time. They’re waiting for us there. Amazing. Amazing. The temperature that day was 47°C. We went in May, but Saudi Arabia was already scorching hot, over 40°C. The recommended season is the winter season from November to February, when the weather is a more moderate 20° to 25°C. By the way, Shebara, which we also visited in May, is not that far from here, but the temperature was 30°C, which is actually a comfortable temperature for swimming in the ocean. I was surprised that the temperature was over 10°C on an island by the sea and a little inland here. There are still so many things about the Earth that we don’t know, and it’s fascinating. I love it. Amazing. Amazing. The hallway is like a museum. They dug it out. Amazing. Apparently they spent three years digging it first, and then building it. Apparently it took three years just to dig. Amazing. No wonder it was so expensive . Indeed. Thank you, engineers. No, this is exciting. I’m already so glad I came. No, I haven’t even entered the room yet, and everyone is waiting. It’s time for today’s room tour. Take a look at this modern, luxurious Desert Rock room, designed to blend in with nature and incorporate the colors of the surrounding rocks and sand. Let’s get started with the room tour. First, let’s start with the entrance cave, which is different from the rest of the room . Amazing. Amazing . Okay, so our room is Room 518. This is a Cave Suite, a room concept where the room is located inside a cave. Let’s go! Okay, let’s go! Let’s go! We’re inside. Where do we start? Let’s start with the bathroom. Oh, wow. Amazing. This is an incredibly spacious bathroom with a toilet, shower, and bathtub. You can see the view from the bathtub like this. How many people can fit in this bath? It’s really spacious. It’s so spacious. It’s like, “Look at this and relax!” It can even be fixed in place. That alone is something I’d like to introduce in Japan. After all, there are a lot of things on Mars. Indeed. And, all the amenities are high-end. All the amenities are so stylish and lovely. I almost want to introduce them all. There are decorations like this. And this towel, and this tissue holder. What? This is stylish. It’s heavy. They ‘re all heavy but stylish. It even has holes in it to put things on. Oh, I see. I see. So you can’t put something on it and it won’t get soaked. It doesn’t. As expected. As expected. Everyone here uses this thing called a Kasba. Yeah. That’s right. There are quite a few shelves here, and I want to introduce them all. The contents are amazing. First of all, there are bags and hats on top, one for Sumi and me, and we’re free to use them. Isn’t this a water bottle? Oh, it’s a water bottle. Oh, really. So stylish. So stylish. This is a backpack. Oh, I said Dune. It’s not Dune. Well, inside Desert Rock, you can do rock climbing and sand buggy activities, and you can bring a bag like this. This is it. A seat. A seat. Yes, convenient. I want one. And the next one looks like this. This holds a mat and slippers. It looks like a swimsuit. It gets wet. Isn’t this supposed to hold your swimsuit? Isn’t this super cute? Yeah. Cute. Oh, I think the inside is, you see, waterproof, yeah, yeah, yeah. After we go in the pool, our swimsuits get soaked. This is a bag for putting wet swimsuits in when you put them in your suitcase. By the way, if you open this, you’ll find a coffee machine and water. There are some of the goods here. And there’s also a minibar here, which is actually complimentary, so I’m going to enjoy it to my heart’s content today. There are some really stylish glasses and nuts and snacks in here, too, and with all of this included, we’re ready to have fun and celebrate today being a party night. Look at this. These glasses. I’ve never seen anything like them before. They’re space glasses. Amazing. What is this? The glasses look super luxurious. What is this? I wonder if they’ll even be able to stand upright? I’m worried. As a glass… Oh, champagne? They have champagne. Non-alcoholic champagne. Yes, non-alcoholic champagne. I don’t drink alcohol, so yes, this is it. This is the main living room. The view from the room is overlooking the Dunes. It’s truly beautiful. This wall, the first thing that stands out is that it’s a cave suite, a cave-like room. There’s a sofa over here, a table, and a small desk over here. We told them it was a honeymoon, so we also had honeymoon cake. It says, “Enjoy Your Honeymoon.” There are two hearts. They’ve prepared cocktails over here, and they’ve prepared non-alcoholic cocktails so that you can make them yourself with your own ice and enjoy them. Isn’t that amazing? Amazing. Today, I’m going to enjoy this lineup. I think so. Herefuse mspeed Sumi-chan and I, my husband and I, spent a special time in a Mars-like space. We truly enjoyed a dreamlike moment, freed from reality. Sure, this one night stay is on the high side, but I think it’s a reward for our hard work together, focusing only on what we want to do and not wasting money on pointless things . I hope everyone will believe that they too can experience this dreamlike experience. Whew. This is the best. The view is amazing. It feels good. This scenery is amazing. Tototototosumi’s mood is uncontrollable. Seriously, I can’t believe this is real. The temperature is around 46° right now, but it’s really cold when you get in the pool. Then, seeing the view of the rocks, I thought it was amazing and wondered if I was still dreaming. That’s true. Anyway, I’m heading to breakfast now, and there’s a gym there, so I’ll put on my gym clothes, eat breakfast, and then go to the gym. This is crazy. It looks like the temperature’s going to reach about 46° again today, so I need to be careful. Yeah. Yeah. It’s already hot. It’s 8:30 now. Right. Yesterday, it reached 46° and the wind was super strong. Right, right, right, right. I imagined the sauna heat wave in the bath . A sauna heat wave. A real sauna. I seriously thought I was experiencing a sauna heat wave. Like a bathroom heater. It felt like I was constantly being heated in the bathroom. Right. My clothes dried quickly, too. So, I’m checking out of this hotel, which cost 500,000 yen a night. A quick comment: This place really impressed me when I first came here. It’s on a different level from other hotels. I understand the complex construction process, but I’m also impressed by the pool and the well-developed infrastructure. That’s right. They said it gets up to 50 or 60 degrees when it gets hot, so it’s amazing how harsh the conditions were to build it. It ‘s amazing. It’s really built inside the rock. And it’s located high up. This is definitely a sophisticated hotel , no, it’s amazing. Plus, the furniture and the atmosphere are so beautiful. Seriously, it’s a memory that will last a lifetime. I’m so glad. I’m so glad.
