Tokyo hotels can be very expensive But it also could be quite cheap I have search some hotels for price ranged from 5,500-7500 Yen per night In this series, I will go to review these hotels to see whether ‘is cheap means it wasn’t good?’ This hotel locates near Uguisudani, one station from Ueno I have noticed this hotel since 2 years ago but the room price was always expensive It was about 11-15k yen per night which is quite expensive for a 3-star hotel But the hotel price had cut half recently Check-in time is 3pm and checkout is 11am Today video sequence is : 1) Lobby floor; 2) Room tour; 3) Other floors visit; 4) Breakfast Front desk locates in 2/F You can walk stair or take elevator This building with 12/F in total. 2/F is restaurant, 3/F with laundry and 4/F with ice machine This hotel has been opened since April 2010 Made you own sea salt bath here Souvenir available to buy here Free coffee available since 2pm until midnight Amenities include razor, shaving cream, vanity kits, bath towel, comb, tea bag etc Room items that can be bought Information sheet Extra items can be requested includes pillows, trousers press, nail clipper, phone charger, mirror, mouse pad, ice bucket etc If you lost this key, they will charge you 11,000 Yen (USD74) Keycard is not required to access the room floor There are only 2 elevators to handle 12 floors guests Let’s begin the room tour Review and details can be seen near the end of the video The room is little bigger than many 3-star hotels in Japan Two pillows with same softness Let’s now test the master light switch Quite good! Air and fabric refresher Exchange rate of these machines always bad Ice in Japan always free Washing machine include detergent Breakfast time! Breakfast price is 1,650 Yen and 500 Yen discount for hotel guests For the past 20 hotels breakfast in Japan I tried, this one is the worst Hotel locates 6 minutes walk to the nearest JR station There’s a cheap supermarket downstair of the hotel There are quite many restaurants nearby It’s a residential district so it’s not too crowd and quite peaceful Many Indian staff being employed in this hotel I wonder is that the reason they cut the hotel price by saving labour cost!? Room is quite comfy and sound proof not bad Room size is bigger than many 3-star hotels in Japan Breakfast is quite disappointing as no tasty dishes at all Wifi also not too stable I stay 5 nights in total including long holiday, average room price is USD54 (exclude breakfast)
