I think timing and meeting the right people are really important, for me. The reason I picked up a camera again is because of the help of friends around me . When I was trying to get back on my feet , there were friends who reached out, saying, “Try this, try that .” That’s why I’m doing this again. But it seems like they don’t have that kind of opportunity , and that’s a bit of a pity for me. I’d love to help if I could, but the homeless people I see are people who have “gave everything up.” They live with their whole selves, living all day long . That means they have nothing to lose , so even if they show everything, they have nothing to lose. Because those who have it hide even more . They have hidden agendas, while the homeless don’t have any. It’s like hanging on to the edge of a cliff with just the clothes on their backs. I can’t say anything, and I can’t be of much help, but still, maybe in the future, when things get better and I’m in a situation where I can take care of myself to some extent, and when I have time to look around, I might want to reach out to people like that !
