【福岡半日遊】4小時太宰府天滿宮全攻略!表參道必吃特色美食|情緒價值滿分酒店開箱|凌晨四時營業的當地人深夜食堂|福岡自駕遊|日本九州自由行

In this episode of my Fukuoka trip I’ll take you on a half-day tour to Dazaifu Tenmangu Shrine It takes less than an hour from the city center The attractions and food here Are mostly concentrated around Omotesando Along the way, we’ll try umegae mochi And various specialty snacks Many of which are popular must-try foods Finally, we’ll return to Fukuoka city To unbox this hotel stay And visit an izakaya popular among locals To see how we explore Dazaifu in half a day Please watch until the end of the video We drove about one hour and forty-five minutes From Yufuin to Dazaifu I’ll stay here for a few hours Then return to Fukuoka to return the car Now let’s see what good food Dazaifu has to offer There are actually many ramen options here Including a special “passing exam” version of Ichiran Ramen And the famous Kyushu ramen Danbo I’m considering whether to eat ramen here But I plan to look around first Because I’m indecisive Now I plan to try this Kazamidori coffee shop We’ve now arrived at this coffee shop called Kazamidori It’s a very retro Western-style building coffee shop The food is simple They don’t serve main dishes like rice or noodles You can only eat sandwiches or cakes And have a cup of coffee Coming to a place like this is about enjoying the atmosphere Just finished at the Kazamidori coffee shop The inside of the coffee shop is truly retro This isn’t Japanese nostalgia But Western-style nostalgic coffee shop If you like vintage style things It’s worth a visit But be prepared to just have a cup of coffee There aren’t many food options It’s a very simple menu This is the Starbucks designed by Kengo Kuma Everyone who comes to Dazaifu takes photos here The interior is quite beautiful Last time I came, I sat here for a while Starbucks is super crowded Can’t even find a place to sit Look at the ceiling inside It’s all designed with these wooden slats It’s very distinctive When I came last time, the weather was very cold There weren’t many people in the coffee shop I could find a nice spot for photos But unfortunately there are too many people now Can’t even find a table to have a drink Alright, I’m giving up The sandwich earlier wasn’t filling Now I’m going to eat black wagyu beef rice bowl Since this is Dazaifu The rice bowl will definitely include mentaiko I ordered this mentaiko black wagyu beef rice bowl It costs 1000 yen This is definitely tourist pricing Because the bowl is very small About the size of a paper cup But I think the meat portion And rice ratio is acceptable Because there’s only a little rice It’s mainly about eating mentaiko and beef They grilled some beef Then added a bit of sweet Japanese sauce With mentaiko on top I think the taste is fine But of course it’s tourist pricing The portion is very small Not like the usual 1000 yen restaurant outside Where you can get a truly large bowl of rice This is just a small bowl like this I just ate two pieces of beef There’s also a bit of tendon Of course this beef isn’t very high-quality wagyu It’s called black wagyu in name But the meat quality isn’t very high-end But it’s good that the rice has plenty of sauce I quite like it It’s fine for a quick bite when you’re craving something Now we’ve arrived at Tenmangu Shrine There’s a sacred ox in front of Tenmangu’s gate It’s a metal ox Legend has it that touching it will bring wisdom Last time I came, my friends kept touching the ox My friends said I was already smarter than them So they wouldn’t let me touch it Then they kept touching it Saying they would become smarter than me This time I want to touch it But there will be many people gathered around touching it But there’s no need to rush Because there’s one at the entrance And if you walk in a bit further There’s a second one I’ve decided to go in and touch the one inside There’s also a sacred ox here But this one is ignored by people I’ll touch this sacred ox Coming to Tenmangu I think the most beautiful scenery Is crossing these two red bridges If it’s cherry blossom season It would be even more beautiful I wonder if coming to Tenmangu now We’ll see hydrangeas I saw many in Yufuin earlier I’m not sure if we can still see them at Tenmangu If I had come a week earlier There would have been flower hand water Where they fill the hand-washing basin with hydrangeas But it seems it only lasts for a week I just missed it by a few days Indeed, it’s gone Now it’s back to regular hand-washing water Previously filled with hydrangeas was very beautiful I saw some people who came in mid-month captured it But I can’t see it this time Besides praying here The most important thing for me is To see if they sell omamori charms Let me unbox for you What I bought I always buy something whenever I visit any shrine This time I bought a mini ema So cute I’ve never seen such a small ema Of course I’ll take it home after buying it Won’t leave it here I’ll take it home for my collection This one can ward off evil In my mind it’s for driving away bad people To keep at home I like these quirky oni things Since I’ve been to Tenmangu before I didn’t stay too long at Tenmangu this time In the open area outside Tenmangu There are often different performers This time there’s an uncle playing the flute Last time it was a ninja performance This is strawberry lemon sparkling water This shop is originally a clothing store They set up a small drink stand outside For people to buy drinks Its special feature is having many ice creams and drinks All in different colors Different flavors have different colors Like a rainbow Attracting many people to line up I couldn’t resist joining the line to buy one The taste is what you’d imagine Like the kind of soda you’d drink at a Showa-era coffee shop With some strawberry flavor added Quite tasty Refreshing and thirst-quenching Today I could drink ten of these Recently our Causeway Bay store has some new items Giving you a preview of a small part Besides boutique items We also have our own brand products My store is at Windsor House 3/F in Causeway Bay We’re also having some discount promotions recently Some of the discounted items have been changed Please come visit our store during the discount period I know everyone is used to shopping online And rarely goes shopping in person You can actually check out my online store All online products are synchronized with the store But some discounts are store-exclusive Near Dazaifu’s Omotesando The most common shops you’ll see Are definitely those selling umegae mochi A must-eat when coming to Dazaifu One of the street snacks is umegae mochi I think there are over twenty shops on this street All making the same snack All called umegae mochi I chose one shop That doesn’t look as traditional Seems to take a more upscale approach The lighting is very dim The storefront is large But they only sell one thing I just bought umegae mochi to try I think the whole street has about the same price 150 yen each You’ll always see shop staff freshly making them Using individual molds What I’m holding now is super hot Like a sun-heated stone So hot I didn’t suspect anything The filling bursts out Almost burned my tongue The texture is like rice cake and mochi The surface is toasted to a crispy crust Should be this kind of glutinous rice skin With red bean paste inside Actually it just has a plum blossom pattern stamped on the surface This is their tradition The ingredients have nothing to do with plums Hot and delicious You can understand it as Red bean filling with glutinous rice skin cake Quite tasty Usually I find red bean paste very sweet Now with the glutinous rice skin balancing the sweetness It’s quite good But the weather is hot Holding something this hot to eat Really makes me sweat continuously My whole neck and back are sweating So hot This place is good After leaving Dazaifu I returned to Fukuoka Airport to return the car For the next few days I’ll stay in downtown Fukuoka to explore Actually from the airport to downtown It’s just two or three subway stops Now I’ll take the subway Back to my downtown hotel If you want to take the subway After coming out from the international terminal You need to take a shuttle bus To the domestic terminal to catch the subway The hotel I’m staying at this time Requires getting off at Nakasu-Kawabata Station Some people choose to take the bus or taxi downtown But this time my hotel is very close to the subway station So I chose to take the subway I just checked in To my hotel in downtown Fukuoka This time I’m staying at The Lively It’s a boutique hotel All the decor matches my aesthetic The location is very close to Nakasu-Kawabata Station Basically you cross the road from the station Turn a corner and you’re there It’s an extremely convenient location There are many restaurants nearby The room rate is about 1100 HKD per night After all, its location is quite convenient But the room size is really quite small Similar to hotels you’d stay at in Tokyo You can see the entire room at a glance You see a bed You see a cabinet And then the bathroom You can only open one suitcase I believe if you open two suitcases, you can’t move around But I think the advantage of this hotel Is that it offers a lot of emotional value There are many things to enjoy For example, you can take purikura photos in the lobby They also rent bicycles You can rent gaming consoles Or some board games To take back to your room to play with friends They provide these things Of course, renting other items May require additional fees Every day from 5:30 to 6:30 PM At the bar downstairs They offer free beer I think they provide many extra services I find it quite good so far For the price of 1100 HKD But if you mind smaller room sizes You should consider carefully If you’re interested Please use the link in the video description to book the hotel Now I’ll take you to see the second floor The hotel’s second floor has a lounge space It’s quite large Guests can eat here Chat And there’s a pool table This area is open 24 hours There’s also a pool table here You can play pool On the ground floor lobby There’s a bar and coffee shop I’ve stayed here for a few days And noticed that on weekends Many Japanese people Eat at this coffee shop But what attracts me most Is at the lobby entrance They have a purikura photo machine Guests can use it for free Before going out to eat I specifically took a photo here After a whole day of traveling I’m already very hungry Now that I’ve checked in I need to go out to eat right away There are quite a few restaurants near the hotel I plan to find something nearby I wasn’t planning to eat at this restaurant But let me share with you What just happened to me After I returned downtown It was around 6 PM When I checked into the hotel I filmed at the hotel for a while before leaving My original plan was to eat at a popular restaurant Where I needed to get a number and wait in line But when I got back downtown I was already too hungry I felt I couldn’t wait another minute I needed to find a place Where I could eat immediately So near the hotel I planned to find any Well-rated restaurant to eat at Who knew that the first place I found Was quite far I walked ten minutes to get there They said they only accept customers with reservations They wouldn’t let us in So I couldn’t eat there Then I went to two other restaurants Both had long lines Finally I gave up Any restaurant I saw on the street Would do I couldn’t take it anymore I was so hungry I had to rush in somewhere So I came into this izakaya Oysters The oysters aren’t very large They’ve put some ginger on top And lots of green onions But I don’t really want to eat the green onions I’ve been wanting to eat these oysters for a long time At that izakaya in Okinawa before I had a very delicious vinegared oyster But when I went there They only had one portion left Just one oyster, couldn’t order more This time I’m eating something similar The oyster is very fresh With a bit of vinegar added Very delicious This is 350 yen per oyster I originally thought for 350 yen The size is a bit small But it’s extremely fresh For the sashimi part This time I chose sea bream This dish is only 750 yen Let me try it with their special sauce It’s a slightly sour sesame sauce Good with white fish It comes with green onions and ginger, plus wasabi The sea bream is good Fresh and tasty I ordered a shrimp and crab tempura assorted platter But I didn’t expect That the crab Is just one piece Not enough for two people to share Adding some grated radish Let me try the crab leg Typical izakaya tempura Of course you wouldn’t expect it To be as good as a crab specialty restaurant But I think it’s acceptable I’m satisfied My favorite pumpkin Delicious They also serve yakitori here I ordered a grilled beef tongue A bit thin But not tough It’s good, crisp and tender But could be tastier It’s Sendai-style grilled beef tongue With some pickles on the side You can eat them together But for 1500 yen per dish It’s just average Fried crab cakes Why isn’t there extra mayonnaise Not needed? So hot It’s one of those crispy foods If you like crispy food Piping hot Crispy Delicious This crab cake Has crab meat cream inside It’s a creamy filling Similar to what everyone usually eats Crab meat cream croquettes But its cream sauce flavor is quite rich Quite tasty Finally ordered a kani miso yaki I feel that eating here Every dish has a sense of ceremony Even for a simple order of kani miso yaki They serve it with the entire burner As for the taste The alcohol flavor is quite strong This izakaya is open very late Seems to be open until 4 AM The location is also very close to my hotel After eating I think the price isn’t expensive And the taste is not bad I think this choice is acceptable Definitely didn’t end up Rushing into a restaurant And getting disappointed It’s worth its price Just finished playing arcade games Planning to eat at a Very famous ramen shop Called Shin Shin The time now is After 11 PM I’m thinking At this late hour There shouldn’t be a line, right? Who knew that walking to the end of the street I could already see people sitting on the roadside Then my friend said Those people sitting at the end of the street Could they be people waiting in line? I said no way How could that be possible It’s already 11 PM No way the line goes all the way to the end of the street But to my surprise When I reached the ramen shop The entire street Everyone was lined up to the corner All waiting for that ramen shop So now I’ve decided to give up Turn back Not eating If you’re fortunate enough To try Shin Shin and see if it’s good Leave a comment to let me know I was planning to go to Ichiran instead But there were just as many people in line Today’s Fukuoka Is no longer the Fukuoka I knew Why at 11:30 PM Do you still have to line up everywhere for ramen In the past, there was no need to line up You could just walk in and eat Why are there so many people now Today’s journey Ends with my disappointment In the next episode I’ll go to the hipster district of Yakuin I also ate at a Very atmospheric robatayaki small izakaya To find out what else I did in Fukuoka You’ll have to watch the next episode If you’ve watched this far Remember to like and leave a comment Besides subscribing to my channel Also follow my IG @tiny.breeze I often post content not in my videos On Instagram See you in the next episode
