We endorse the comment below from Kate Williams in the sense that you should take a week or so off from vlogging, editing and trying to maintain your happy go lucky image and approach to life in general. Losing a close and loyal companion is traumatic and time is needed to grieve and come to terms with the situation. We have lost pets to the rainbow bridge several times and it is never easy. But the fact is we outlive our pets over and over yet they always remain with us. Living your life in the media must be trying at times and having to produce a vlog on time every week must be taking its toll at this time. Take time off for each other and Dizzee, we'll all still be here when you come back in a couple of weeks. Take time for you; You are important to a lot of people who are living their dream through your videos so we/they want you happy and enjoying life. Take care guys.

We were watching you talk about the smoke, then I said to my husband we can smell it. (Our area has had a lot of Canadian wild fire smoke this summer) Then we realized the smoke smell was from a neighbors bonfire, not your video. Sometimes things just don’t work out. Hang in there.

I've been watching your earlier stuff, I'm going to try to build a van from scratch to live in full time as i fell out with a lot of my family in 2020, i like watching you on the land, it really inspires me, but that's the problem with living in a van full time, i won't be able to grow my own food. The wild fires all over the world are intentional, its done to control movement by certain unelected organisations, im sure you both have an idea whats going on, you seem switched on.

The first park up by the river looked lovely and would suit us – can you remember the name of the place please? We have also stopped at Riano and took the mountain road north, like you did – we thought we recognised the overhanging rocks above! A stunning drive❤

Your video confirms my worst fears, and makes me wonder at what point our way of life will become unsustainable. The numbers involved are huge and you can completely understand why the locals are disgusted and fed up with vanlifers. We travel for about 6 months of the year but always return home mid July until early September. Everywhere is completely rammed and as you have discovered, campsites are all booked up in advance. We do want to try Holland though as it would appear as there cannot be anyone left in the country the numbers of Dutch motorhomes and caravans we come across on our travels! Be aware though, it will always be hard for your 'plan' to work out…….when you haven't got one! We start on Park 4 the night or search for sites about 11 in the morning, aiming to be where we want to be spending the night by lunchtime. It's still often very busy but we would never aim to get to a park up anytime after 4pm. Good luck for the next week.

Beautiful drive with the Pico mountains! I love their ruggedness, surely a very tiring drive. Northern Spain is beautiful, but yeah, as you said, not in August, too many people!! I try to hibernate in August and the first half of September tbh.. Tourists all over, this year seems to be excessive as well, so many (deadly) accidents on the road that involves a native living abroad with their fast and flashy cars, I have a tiny blue monster, I saw it in your video, had a giggle, I think it is the 3rd I have seen in the same colour.. As for you both, maybe the full carparks and this entire trip has been part of your healing journey, you both had a good laugh about it and this trip will be a forever memory! Fires here in Portugal are bad as well, but surely you know, I hope you guys are safe, I believe you are very far south of Castelo Branco. The Piodao fire got to about 3,5KM from me (Tabua area), sounds like nothing but it has consumed many many square hectares and a couple of my friends have been affected, again… Sorry for the long story! Keep up with the video's and if there is a week that you can't, so be it.

We’ve given up traveling anywhere in Europe or N.America in July or August. It’s just not worth the hassle.
I was there and in the picos at the same time. I was watching the Chinooks dipping buckets in the lake. Hasn't the lake shrunk? I came down the mountains in the opposite, bloody twisty direction and excellent.
Enjoyed the video, as a vanlifer myself all I can say is.. rough with the smooth, rough with the smooth …it all evens itself out..

If you want to head south you're most welcome at my camp ground, I'm 3km from Casarabonela, Malaga province, in the campo, we have shower /loo facilities, electric hook-up if needed next to a river and 30 minutes from Camino del ray, the lakes, mountains all around, just over an hour from the coast, quiet and plenty of room.
Love this vlog with the unexpected festival etc.

When I lost my first dog Wilma a beautiful Samoyed, I thought my life was over it was 2007. Things went south pretty quickly and my state of mind deteriorated. It took a while to get back on my feet. I gave myself a chance to recover and slowly things started getting better. The Universe last year brought my Siberian husky Wolf on our way and here we are now. Stay strong guys and above all take good care of yourself and little Dizzy ❤
I wouldn't normally say this being as we like your channel but Dizzy your dog looks dehydrated when you were walking him over the bridge hope he's ok ?.
