サイゴンの歴史を探訪し、素晴らしい地元の人々と出会いました。ホーチミン🇻🇳ベトナム。

Today is our first day in Ho Chi Minh City, or old Saigon. We do our own walking tour of the important sites such as Old Saigon Post Office, Ben ThanhMarket, Book Street and more. Along the way we come across ‘the squirrel man’ who was funny and very entertaining, surely made our day. Some places in Ho Chi Minh City we couldn’t visit due to repairs or being closed, but all the more reasons to return.

Walking around Ho Chi Minh City is a captivating experience filled with energy, culture, and history. Known for its French colonial architecture and buzzing street life, this Vietnamese metropolis invites travelers to discover its hidden gems. Start your journey at Ben Thanh Market, a lively spot offering authentic street food and local handicrafts. Wander through the streets of District 1, where tree-lined boulevards lead to iconic sites like the Notre-Dame Cathedral Basilica of Saigon and the Saigon Central Post Office, showcasing French-inspired architecture.
