Carnival Venusia was initially launched in 2019 and then relaunched in 2023 for the Carnival brand. She has a length of 1,61 ft. She weighs 135,225 gross tons. She has a capacity of 4,28 passengers and a crew of 1,278. We’re going to start our tour with the elevators. Carnival Venzia has three banks of elevators. The Ford bank has a total of eight elevators. The midship bank has a total of four and the aft bank has a total of four. The elevator system on Carnival Venezia is a little bit different than most cruise ships. You’re going to select your floor on the control panel and it’s going to tell you which elevator you’re going to ride and that elevator will take you directly to that floor. This system did seem to be pretty efficient and was a good bit faster than traditional elevators. We’re going to start on deck 15 forward and this is going to be your serenity adults only area. This area is limited to adults 21 years and older. And this area on Carnival Venisia was very large, very well thought out and planned and had lots and lots of loungers, lots of seating, lots of clamshells. The Serenity has its own bar service and it’s the Spritz Bar. And here you can order your favorite beer, wine, or cocktail and enjoy it here on the Serenity deck. The serenity area up here on deck 15 takes up the entire space on this level and it is quite adequately sized for this size of ship. You’re going to find two hot tubs, one’s on each side of the serenity area. You’re also going to find a few showers that you can wash off at. And the hot tubs were pretty good sized, bigger than most hot tubs. You’re going to find lots of loungers here. There is some covered seating also up here as well as clamshells. This area wraps all the way around on this deck. So, it goes all the way from one side of the ship to the very forward section of this deck and then all the way around to the other side. The serenity area, just like the rest of the ship, has that nice Italian theming and is really cool. We did enjoy this area quite a bit. Moving down to deck 14 forward, you’re going to find some balcony cabins, some interior cabins, some ocean view cabins, and some ocean suites on this level. Now, moving away from the cabins, moving towards the aft of the ship on deck 14, you’re going to exit outside, and there’s going to be a small sund deck area here that has several clamshells. One thing to note also about deck 15 above, just right outside of Serenity, you’re going to have the entrances to the water slides. Moving all the way aft, you’re going to find on deck 14, the upper level of the mini golf. And this ship has a very interesting mini golf area. It’s laid out between two levels and split up. And one level is on this deck along with the entrance to the ropes course. And then down below with the rest of the sports deck, you’re going to find the remaining holes. The holes start at the bottom and then you work your way up and then you come back down. Now here you can see the ropes course entrance. And this ship has a really cool ropes course for just like all the Vista class ships. Basically, Venia is a Vista class ship that’s been converted to the Italian theming. And you can kind of see that as you walk through the ship. You can compare that to a Vistaclass ship and it seems very similar. Here’s a good look at the ropes course. And it is quite a large ropes course. This is pretty much the standard ropes course that they put on a Vista class ship. Very similar to what you would see on Vista or Horizon or Panorama. One thing to note is there is no charge to take advantage of the ropes course. So you can enjoy it and not have to pay anything additional. kind of hidden away right behind the ropes course entrance. If you walk all the way around it, you’re going to find this giant chess game which is pretty cool and fun to play. And moving down to deck 12, all the way in the aft of the ship, you’re going to find an outdoor fitness area that has quite a few machines and a good variety of machines. These are on both sides of the back of the ship here. You’re also going to find the jogging track here. And it wraps all the way around the back area of the ship here where the sports square area is. And you have some great views from here when you’re walking around it cuz it’s up pretty high. But here to the left, you’re going to notice there’s the sports court. And they can set this up for basketball, which is being played right now, or volleyball and some other games as well. And on deck 12 in the midship area, you’re going to find the lower level of the mini golf. And this mini golf course is really spread out quite a bit. And this mini golf course is a total of nine holes. We played here a couple of times. It was a fun course to play on and uh a little bit different than most of the courses on the ship. Now, also on deck 12 here near the mini golf area, you’re going to find the warehouse arcade. And there was a pretty good selection of machines here. You can see the kiosk there where you buy your arcade credits with your sign and sale card. And we did have fun playing here. Most of the games were in pretty good shape. There was a good variety of games. I believe there was only one machine that was out of order, but everything else seemed to be fairly new and in good working condition. It’s not as big as some arcades on some of the ships, but it was adequate. Fortunately, there was not too many claw machines, but there was a few. Now, Carnival usually has a discounted hour, and they usually do it a couple of times during the cruise, at least once, and you have to keep a lookout for it. I don’t always see it, but occasionally I will see it when I’m cruising with them. And you get reduced price for tokens for like an hour or so. Be on the lookout for that. I’m not sure if they still do it or not, though. Moving forward on deck 12, you’re going to come to the area that overlooks the Leo deck area and the movie screen. And this is a really nice sund deck area. There’s quite a bit of loungers here that line up along the ship. And you can have some good views of all the activities that are going on down below in Leo. One cool thing about this ship is that area actually closes and there’s a retractable roof. So, if the weather’s bad, they can close up the Leo deck area. We’re moving towards Midship on deck 12, you’re going to find the Carnival Waterworks water slides. And this ship has several great slides. You can see them here. There is a little bit of a play area, splash pad just below the slides for the smaller children. And a lot of good seating around this area so you can lounge and watch the kids. The ship has three of the bigger slides and they all exit out right here where you can see the exits. You’ll go up to deck 15 to enter the water slides here. On the opposite side here, you’re going to find some more splash pad activities that are great for the smaller children. Moving forward on deck 12, you’re going to find some balcony and interior cabins here. Also on deck 12 forward, you’re going to find the Cloud9 spa area. And here’s the entrance to the spa, as well as the reception desk. And in the spa, you’re going to find several treatment rooms here. You’re also going to find the fitness center all the way forward. And this ship has a pretty decent size fitness center with a lot of modern equipment. There’s quite a few treadmills. There’s a ton of bikes. There’s some weightlifting equipment here, ellipticals, and everything else in between that you can imagine. The fitness center here does wrap all the way around the front area of the ship here. So, you have some great views looking off the front of the ship. Moving down to deck 11, all the way forward, you’re going to find some balcony interior, some ocean suite, and some ocean view cabins in this area. Moving towards midship on deck 11, you’re going to find a gaming area here. And there’s several foosball tables. There’s a table game here that looks pretty cool. I don’t know the name of it, but it does look pretty awesome. And also here, you’re going to find a botchi ball court as well with the artificial grass. Really cool touch. And on the opposite side of this area, midship on deck 11, you’re also going to find a lounge area. Very comfortable seating here and plenty of areas to lounge and relax out of the sun and just enjoy the sights and sounds that are going on on Leo. In this same area, you’re going to find the pergola bar and pergola bar will serve up all those Italian themed drinks as well as any other drink you would like. Nice relaxing vibe to this area and a great place to sit and have a drink. Now, moving further aft outside, you’re going to find the exterior area, the play area for Camp Ocean. And this wraps around the exterior of the ship. And here you can see there’s some games outside, some cool seating for the kids. And if you move inside in this same area, you’re going to find the entrance to Camp Ocean. A Camp Ocean offers a lot of great things for kids ages 2 to 11. and they break them up into the penguins which are ages 2 to five, stingrays, ages 6 to eight, and the sharks ages 9 to 11. Through the day, they have activities in this area, and there’s several different things that children can participate in, including crafts, songs, games, toys, dancing, movies, also video games. Moving further out on deck 11 outside, you’re going to come to a sund deck area. And there’s lots of loungers here that line along the outside area of the ship. And they pretty much go all the way around to the back. On the opposite side of the ship, in this area, you’re going to find one of the smoking areas. And this smoking area has some comfortable seating, some sofas, chairs, some tables, and all of it’s pretty much covered. Now, keep in mind, you cannot smoke while the ship is docked and fueling. Moving further aft on deck 11, you’re going to come to the sports court. And here you can see they have a basketball court. They also set this up for other activities such as soccer, volleyball. I believe they can even set this up as a pickle ball court. But really nice gaming area, outdoor gaming area for the kids and adults to enjoy. Moving further after, you’re going to come to a sund deck area. And this is at the very back of deck 11. You’re going to find a really nice row of some clamshells. And this is one of my favorite areas to sit outside. You’re out of the sun. You have great views of the back of the ship and the wake. And there’s also plenty of loungers here and umbrellas. There’s a good look of this area looking from above. And you can see the view that you have here. Really nice area to sit and relax. Now, dropping down to deck 10 all the way forward in the very front of the ship, you’re going to find some cabins here. And these are going to be balcony, interior, and ocean view cabins. On deck 10, moving midship, you’re going to find the Leo deck area. And this is the central pool of the ship. And there’s also a stage here as well where they do a lot of the activities outside, your sailway party, your dance parties, and all those kind of activities. This Leo deck area around the pool was not very big. There was a limited amount of seating, but the area surrounding it has tons of comfortable seating. Now, surrounding the Leo deck, you have several venues, and this is one of them, the Java Blue Cafe. One of my favorite places to get a morning pickme up, and they have everything from lattes to cappuccino to shakes and everything in between. That was a good look at their menu. On the opposite side of the Leo deck, you’re going to find the Rookco Bar. And this bar is just like any of the other ones. They’ll serve you your favorite cocktail, beer, or wine. and you can take advantage of that drink package here and order you an Italian themed drink if you like. And there’s plenty of places to sit and relax. There’s a very large seating area here for those that are dining down here on Leo. Speaking of dining, you can find Guys Burger Joint here right outside of the pool. And this is your go-to burger spot. One of our favorite places to eat. And this is an Italian themed guys burger. Very unique to the fleet. There is a couple of variations that you won’t find on the other ships and that includes the pepperoni pizza burger and the super melty moots. On the opposite side, you’re going to find Tomuro. And this is a unique fusion of Italian and Mexican. Kind of like your blue iguana, but an Italian themed blue iguana. Very different. But you can find everything from breakfast burritos to a meatball sub. In the evenings when Tomaduro is closed, this becomes all things wings. And moving further aft on deck 10, you’re going to come to the Leo marketplace. And this is your buffet that serves everything from breakfast to lunch to dinner. And there’s lots of different options. They change it up every day. This area is quite large. On this ship in particular, it was very large and had lots and lots of seating. one of the few ships that we have sailed on that we always were able to easily find a table to sit at. Some of the smaller ships that’s more difficult. This buffet takes up pretty much the entire aft area of the ship. There’s quite a few different stations and it’s kind of spread out, but here you can see one of the buffet stations. Here’s a good look at the breakfast buffet menu. In the buffet area, you’re going to find Swirls Ice Cream. And this is always a family favorite. Here you can get your soft serve ice cream. Use it as chocolate, vanilla, and strawberry. There’s also several beverage stations here in the buffet which serve coffee in the mornings as well as juice. And in the afternoons and evenings, you can get lemonade, water, and tea. Here in the buffet area, you’re also going to find an omelet station as well as the breakfast buffet items. And this area also converts to the Carnival Deli in the afternoon. Here’s a good look at the Carnival Deli menu. And you have some hot options including steak and cheese or hot dog and cold options including tuna fish or BLT or maybe just a turkey and Swiss. Now most Carnival ships you can find these selfservice beer stations in the buffet area. And these are per ounce and they’re usually pretty affordable. And moving further after, you’re gonna find the Barono Sunshine Deck. And in the Virano Sunshine Deck, you’re going to find the Brono Pool Bar. And this bar serves the Brono Pool back here at the very aft area of the ship. Nice place to grab a quick drink while you’re lounging in the sun or you’re basking in the waters of the pool. In this area, you’re going to find a couple of food outlets. And one of those outlets is going to be seafood check which is a alle cart for an additional charge seafood dining option. Here’s a good look at their menu and they have everything from fried shrimp to clam chowder. In this area you are going to find plenty of seating, plenty of tables here that you can eat at. And it wraps all the way around to the other side. And on the opposite side you’re going to find the pizzeria del Capitano. And this is your pizza option on board Carnival Venezia. Here’s a look at their drink menu as well as the five different pizza options that you can select here. And the centerpiece of this area is the Barono pool and it overlooks the wake of the ship. You can get some great views from sitting back here and lounging in one of the loungers and a very relaxing area to enjoy. There is two hot tubs as well that are next to the pool. Moving down to deck nine, you’re going to find nothing but cabins on deck 9. And here you’re going to find some balcony interior, ocean suites, ocean view, and some a balcony cabins. I’m moving down to deck 8, you’re going to find nothing but cabins here also. And here you’re going to find some balcony cabins, some premium balcony, some premium vista balcony cabins, interior, and a half balcony. Deck 7 is going to be more of the same. some balcony, some premium balcony, premium vista, and then also some interior, ocean view, ocean suite, and a balcony cabin. Dropping down to deck six, you’re going to find some balcony cabins, some premium balcony, some premium vista balcony cabins, and also interior and aft balcony cabins. And dropping down to deck 5 forward, you’re going to find the Tatro Roso, the upper level of the show theater. And here’s some good views of what a balcony area will seat will look like. There’s some great views in this theater. And there wasn’t too many spots that had a bad view unless you got directly behind one of the columns here. I’m moving more towards midship. You’re going to find the fun shops. And the fun shops on this ship are scattered throughout the ship on different levels. And you’ll see that as we go through the lower levels of the ship. Here’s a good view of the top level of the atrium lobby. And this ship has a really cool atrium lobby. Here you’ll find the Effie shop. And at Effie, you can of course buy jewelry here. And they have every piece of jewelry you can imagine. Sometimes the sales are okay, but usually it’s pretty pricey. These shops all join and they kind of connect all the way around. So you can also find some accessories here like handbags and other accessories. You’re also going to find watches here on this end of the shop. They carry quite a few different brands here. So, you can find just about any brand you can imagine. Now, you’re also going to find your hipfish shop here. And this is basically your perfume shop. And just like the watches and the jewelry, you can find just about every brand of perfume that you can imagine here. Sometimes they’ll run sales and you can get good deals. And just keep in mind also, most of the time you’re not paying tax here. There is some discount there as well. Here you’ll find an accessory shop and you can buy anything from sunglasses to a hat to a scarf or any other accessory type items. One thing unique to this ship is the Cloud9 beauty salon being in the fun shop area. I think this is the first time we’ve ever seen this, but it is pretty cool to have it along with the shops. And I think it makes sense because you’re getting a lot of foot traffic here. But here you can get anything from a haircut to a manicure, pedicure. Here’s a good look at the atrium lobby. And this is a very beautiful atrium lobby. And it spans three decks. I’m moving more aft, you’re going to find the piano bar 88 here in the midship deck 5 area. And this is your typical carnival piano bar. Not very big, but it does serve the purpose. You have a little bit of seating back here. very comfortable place to sit and listen to some piano music and order up a drink and relax and have a great time in the evening. And moving further a on deck five, you’re going to come to Bonsai Tanyaki. And this is the Japanese Habachi. One thing to keep in mind is there’s a limit of four people when you’re making a reservation in the app. So, if you have a party more than four, you will need to book it in person or over the phone. Right across from Bonsai Teanyaki, you’re going to find Bonsai Sushi. We did eat in Bonsai Sushi and it was very good and it is extremely consistent from ship to ship. We’ve had it on several different ships and we have a review that we did on Carnival Vista. We’ll put a link down in the video description for you. Moving further aft on deck five, you’re going to find Fahrenheit 555. And this is the steakhouse. We have dined in this steakhouse as well as many of the other ones on the ships and they are very consistent in the quality of the food and the service you get. And if you don’t try any of the other premium dining and we recommend you do try the steakhouse. We’re going to be posting a review of this steakhouse and our experience here on Carnival Venezuel. We’ll include a link in the video description once we have it posted. In the center of this area, you’re going to find this opening that looks down into deck four into the casino, which is pretty cool. Now, moving further aft on deck 5, you’re going to come to the Amari Bar. And this is the equivalent of the Alchemy Bar that is on the other Carnival ships. And you’re going to be able to find many of the same variation of drinks, but you’ll also find some Italian drinks here as well. And moving further aft on deck 5, you’re going to find some more fun shops. And like we said earlier, these things are scattered throughout the ship, which is nice. Uh, this one sells accessories, and this is one of your hip fish shops. Now, moving further a deck five, you’re going to find the Fzante Bar, and it’s just outside of Il Vagio. Right next to the Fzante Bar, you’re going to find the El Vagio Italian Restaurant. And we did eat here for the first time and it was a very good meal. We are going to review this meal and we’re going to be posting a video of it. So, be on the lookout for it. But we had a wonderful meal here. The service was excellent and this is a very elegant space and definitely 100% Italian you’re going to find here. So, if you love Italian food, you’re going to enjoy dining in this venue. Moving further apt on deck 5, you’re going to come to the Pixels photo gallery. And this is a modern pixels gallery, which has all electronic options. There’s no printed pictures here. You select what you want on the iPad. And there’s several different options. You can have them printed if you want, but you can also download them. And here we’re going to show you how to use the iPad. You just basically touch the screen and select your options. Moving further aft on deck five, you’re going to come to the gondola lounge. And this lounge has this really cool moving mural of Venice. And we really enjoyed watching this. It’s kind of mesmerizing. But this area has some great seating. And they do a lot of performances here, mostly musical stuff, but they will have some other activities in this area as well. In this same area, you’re going to find another premium dining venue, and that’s Ampanada and Pie. Now, during our cruise, we never did see this open, but it is set up and it has a menu here, so we’re not sure if they’re still doing this. And moving further aza stateooms, and this is an exclusive area. If you book the Terza stateooms, you have access to the pool and the lounge area here in the back of the ship. Now, moving further, you’re going to find the Carnival Bar and Lounge. And this lounge is so cool. One of our favorite lounges on the ship, and it has a very cool, sleek vibe. It goes all the way back to the very rear of the ship. You’re also going to find a bar here in the very back. Lots of very comfortable seating. They’ll have music in this area during the afternoon and evenings, and it’s a very nice area to relax in. Here you can see the bar area in the very back. After you move outside, this is an exclusive area for the ones that have booked cabins back here and the Terza Carnival. As you can see, it’s on the very aft of the ship. And there are some very good seating out here, some clamshells, quite a few tables with umbrellas, and some loungers as well. You’re also going to find the carnival bar here as well that services both inside and outside. And going around to the other side, you’re going to find some more comfortable seating, some more louners, some sofas, and you’re also going to find a hot tub here that’s exclusive to this area. This area, you do have to be staying in one of the Terza stateaterooms in order to access. One other feature on deck 5 is the lenai. This is an outdoor prominade area that goes all the way down the outside of the ship. And there’s lots of great outdoor space here. Lots of great seating, sofas, loungers, chairs, tables, and there is a dining venue out here as well. Most of the dining venues on deck 5, such as Fahrenheit 555, Bonsai Sushi, they all have outdoor seating here that adjoins the exterior prominade. This area is very similar to the areas that are on the other Vista class ships as well as Dream class ships like Magic and Dream. One great thing about the seating out here is most of it is protected and you can find some private lounge areas here like these that have the wall between them which is really cool. Now you’ll also find the outdoor smoking area here on and there is a short segment of the outdoor seating that’s designated for smoking. Now you will find the Lstrada grill here and this is the only outdoor dining venue that you’ll find. Here’s a good look at their menu and this is the equivalent of the guy’s pig and anchor that is on the Vista class ships. the setup exactly like guys pick an anchor, but the seating areas out here are a little bit different. Um, we did not try this during our cruise. We did want to, but we just never did have a chance. And moving all the way forward on deck 4, you’re going to find the lower level of the Tiato Roso Theater. And this is the theater that you’ll go to to enjoy your playlist production shows. We did attend every single show on this cruise. I think it was the first time we ever did that. and every one of them was fabulous. In the back of the theater here, next to the entrance, you’re going to find Bar Roso. And this bar services the theater. Moving towards midship on deck 4, you’re going to find some more fun shops. And here you’ll find the liquor and tobacco store. There’s also a couple of outside shops that they lock up in the evenings when they’re closed. Here you can see one that sells like accessories and jewelry. You’re also going to find the Carnival store. And this is the store that you’ll find with all the Carnival logoed items. And you’re going to find everything from sweatshirts, t-shirts, hats, and also a great selection of Carnival funnel hats, as you can see there on the top shelf, and some mugs, coffee cups, as well as ship models. You’re also going to find in this area a cherry on the top. And this is your carnival store for candies, treats, and also celebration items. You can also get flowers here and things for special occasions as well. Here’s a good look at some of the products you can find in Cherry on Top. Here’s another shop here that you can find some accessories as well as like some clothing items. You also can find Dream Studios in this area. And this is where you’re going to set up your custom photo shoots. And we have done these several times and they always do a fabulous job. We’re going to be featuring Dream Studios in a video, so be on the lookout for that. Now, moving further aft and in the midship area of deck 4, you’re going to find the Venezia Casino. And this is a very nice casino. A lot of modern games and a lot of table games as well. There’s well over 200 slot machines here. and about 15 or 16 table games. One thing that’s great about this casino is there’s also a non-smoking casino area. We do a full tour of this casino. We cover pretty much every machine and every table game and including the non-smoking casino. And if you’d like to see a tour of that casino, we’ll have a link down in the video description below. Here’s a look at the non-smoking casino. And there was four or five tables here and about two dozen machines. It did give you a good break from the smoke if you’re allergic to the smoke or if it’s hard to handle. And there was a good selection of games here. Now, moving further aft on deck four, you’re going to find the Heroes Tribute Bar. And this is the military themed sports bar on Carnival Venia. and a very cool place to come and watch a sporting event. Moving down the prominade hallway, you’re going to find the art gallery on deck four, and this is where they display all the artwork that’s available for sale. And there’ll be a art auction during the cruise that you can attend. Now, moving further a deck four, you’re going to come to the Limelight Lounge, and this is where they hold the comedy shows. They also hold some other entertainment in this space, but it’s predominantly the comedy shows here. Moving all the way back to the aft of deck 4, you’re going to come to the Canal Grand Restaurant. And this is going to be the upper level of the Canal Grand Restaurant. This is your your time dining restaurant. You’ll come here if you selected your time dining as your dining option. And on the upper level, there are some great views of the Venetian Canal down below in the gondola. Really unique feature of this dining room. And here’s a great view of the gondola. This dining room spans deck four and deck three. And here’s a look down on deck three of the restaurant. And moving forward on deck three towards midship, you’re going to find the Marco Polo restaurant. And this and this restaurant is your fixed time dining restaurant for early and late dining. Now, moving further forward on deck three, you’re going to come to the Piaza San Marco. And this is your atrium lobby. Beautiful atrium lobby here with all the Italian theming. And here is the lowest level of that area. And surrounding the atrium lobby, you’re going to find Carnival Adventures. And this is where you’ll book all your shore excursions and ask any questions you have about shore excursions. You also have the atrium bar here in the center of the atrium lobby. And as you walk around, there’s a lot of great seating that surrounds this lobby as well as in the center facing the bar. And on the other side of the atrium lobby, you’re going to find the guest services desk. And this is where you’ll go to resolve any issues you have with your cruise account. Now, moving further forward on deck three, you’re going to come to some cabins. And these cabins are going to be ocean view cabins and deluxe ocean view cabins. And moving further forward on deck three, you’re going to find Club O2 and also Circle C. And to the right, you’ll find the Club O2 Teens Club. They’re going to have a great program for those kids that are ages 15 to 17, including games, video games, karaoke, dance parties. On the left hand side, you’re going to find Circle C, and that’s for kids ages 12 to 14. And they’re going to have a lot of the same that you’ll find in Club O2, but it’s just going to be geared towards the younger ages. Video games, dance parties, karaoke, and a lot more fun stuff for those kids. Dropping down to deck 2, you’re going to find nothing but cabins on this level. And on this level, you’re going to find cove balcony, ocean view, deluxe ocean view interior, and there’s also going to be some aft balcony cabins here as well. All the way down on deck one, the lowest deck of the ship, you’re going to find some ocean view cabins, some deluxe ocean view, and some interior cabins here. We hope you enjoyed this tour of the cruise ship Carnival Venia. And if you did, hit that thumbs up button. Also, check out our playlist for Carnival Venzia.
