【女ひとり旅】たった6時間でここまで回れる 乗り継ぎ時間でシンガポールのグルメと名所観光

Singapore Trip May 2025 Narita Airport Terminal 1. It’s been a while since I’ve been abroad! My final destination is Italy, but I’ll head to Singapore for my layover. The seat on the plane was a bulkhead seat with plenty of legroom and an empty seat next to me, which was great! Even in economy class, I was grateful for the hand towel service. The in-flight meal was chicken pasta and green tea soba! I had it with white wine and Haagen-Dazs for dessert. Singapore Airlines is the best! After about 7 hours, I arrived at Singapore Changi Airport. There is a tour that people who meet certain conditions can join for free when transiting through Singapore, but I couldn’t make a reservation this time, so I decided to go sightseeing on my own. I exchanged a little bit of money because I was going to a food stall. 5,000 yen → 44.22 Singapore dollars. You need an electronic arrival card to enter Singapore. I applied for it in advance on the Immigration and Checkpoints Authority of Singapore (ICA) website. Immigration was completed quickly at the automatic gate ♪ I had about 6 hours to sightsee. Let’s go see the hot topic right away. Wow! I found it right away! This is Jewel, a shopping mall adjacent to the airport. It is famous for its huge waterfall. It is the longest indoor waterfall in the world, about 40 meters high, and flows at 38,000 liters per minute. When I got close to the basin, the spray was amazing! I heard it is lit up at night, so I’ll come back later. I took the MRT to the city. It took about 50 minutes to get to Chinatown. I didn’t need to buy a ticket, I just tapped my credit card to get on. I arrived at Tanjong Pagar Station, the MRT boarding route . My next stop was Maxwell Food Centre. There was a chicken rice stall that was awarded the Michelin Bib Gourmand. Oh! Is that it? But Singapore is hot! There are so many people! It’s hot and steamy inside. Where is the restaurant I’m looking for? There it is! I knew it right away by the line. With a line like this, I could eat right away. Apparently they sell out if it’s late, and the roast was sold out on this day. Payment can be made by cash or local Pay. I ordered a medium-sized steamed chicken rice. The waiter was not very friendly, but he served it quickly. I got it in about 10 minutes! 6 SGD (675 yen). It was too hot inside, so I ate it at an outdoor seat. The chicken was very soft and melted in my mouth. The rice was also fragrant and delicious. Is this a cucumber? It was some kind of gourd-like vegetable, but it was a good palate cleanser. The chili sauce was quite spicy. I was expecting a mild taste, but it had a surprising spicy aroma. This is the taste of Michelin. It was delicious! I was full, so I went for a walk. The Buddhist temple was closed and I couldn’t enter. There was a Hindu temple up ahead, so I went there. It is the oldest Hindu temple in Singapore and tourists are free to visit. I took off my shoes at the entrance and entered. It seems that prayers or something were taking place. There were a lot of people in the center, but since we should not disturb the sacred ceremony, I only visited what I could see from outside the building. These colorful statues are gods in Hindu mythology. The unique music and sculptures were a valuable experience. Now, let’s head to our next destination. There are many Japanese chain stores in Singapore. This stylish building was We Work. Boat Quay. Boat Quay is an area lined with stylish bars and restaurants along the river. It seems to be very crowded at night. The sun has set and it’s getting cooler. By the way, the reason why I’m in Singapore, even though I’m supposed to go to Italy, is because I got a reward ticket with miles to save on travel expenses. The reward ticket I got is Singapore Airlines, so I’ll transfer in Singapore. Then I’ll take a train to Zurich, Switzerland, and from Zurich to Milan, Italy. It’s a pretty strange itinerary, but I’ll enjoy sightseeing on the way! So here I am now. The Merlion should be nearby, but where is it? According to Google, it’s this direction. I’m going away from the river, but is that okay? There are a lot of people walking in the same direction, so I’ll just let myself go. It looks like the Merlion might be there. Wow, that’s the coveted Marina Bay Sands!!! It’s a luxury hotel that you’d like to stay at once in your life, but you might never get to stay there. It’s famous for the infinity pool on the rooftop that only guests can enter. It’s a hot country, so many people come in the evening to cool off, so it got crowded. And finally, we found the Merlion. People say it’s a disappointing spot, but that’s not true. It’s a very popular spot. The back of the Merlion lol. And a picture from the front. The upper body is a lion and the lower body is a fish, and it seems that the name Merlion is a combination of mermaid and lion. From the Merlion to Marina Bay Sands. When I got to the nearest MRT station, I found this wonderful object. Every country is conscious of how to look good. The MRT boarding route. There’s still time before boarding, but I returned to Jewel. The atmosphere changes completely at night. How beautiful! The fusion of manmade objects and nature is wonderful. We came to the restaurant area on the top floor. It looks bright in the video, but it was actually dim and had a very nice atmosphere. Of course, you can see the waterfall. Ah, it’s so nice♪ I’m sure there are a lot of couples around, but that’s just my imagination. It was already closed, but there was a playground called Canopy Park. There’s another place I want to go to with Jewel, so I’ll stop by♪. I came here because I could get in with my Priority Pass. There aren’t many people, which is nice. My card seems to allow me to use one hot meal, one beer, and a shower. I immediately had a beer and ordered a hot meal. I walked a lot in the heat, so it was refreshing. By the way, the system is to show this card to receive service. The chili crab I ordered is ready. Hmm? This was different from what I expected. Apparently it ‘s eaten with bread in chili sauce with crab meat. I’ve never eaten real chili crab, so I don’t know what the right thing to do is, but the chili sauce was quite spicy and had a strong taste. It didn’t suit me. I looked around the buffet corner to wash my palate down. There were a variety of snacks. I’m glad they have green tea and oolong tea. I’ll have a brightly colored donut. It was surprisingly simple and delicious! Finally, I took a shower to freshen up. The shower room was clean and towels and amenities were provided. I returned to the airport. I was able to sightsee in Singapore with plenty of time to spare. I’m heading to Zurich now. Thank you for watching until the end! Please subscribe, like, and comment.
