Gifu day trip Gujo Hachiman (demon slayer swordsmith village) part 1

Okay, so we’re on the first stop of today. I don’t know where we are. I’ll have to probably put that in the the video once I edit it later. Um, all I know is I’ve we’re in GEU somewhere. Uh, it was a nice drive from what I seen, but I was asleep most of the time cuz it was early start. Also, my hotel in Nagoya has Yeah, it’s not the best place. Like, there was people talking all night. It was crazy. Uh, so I remember when I booked this, this is like some craftsman’s village. I don’t remember the name. So, for now, we’ll just call it swordsmith village from Demon Slayer, but it’s uh pretty cool. Oh, look, there’s my old van that I used to drive. Now I’m at the back of the group. I don’t have to uh be so awkward talking. Uh yeah, so far I’m just following the guy. We’re going to go some river and then yeah, I think that’s it for this part. It’s a little bit colder here, too. It is nice because we’re in the middle of like mountains. So, you do have a lot of color. An old mate smoking in my face. trying to choose where I film and what I film just cuz I don’t have that much storage space left on my uh SD cards. I’m going to have probably have to buy a new one. Everyone’s on the other side, but I want to film this side. Uh the other side is nicer, but everyone was there, so I just wanted to get that show here. Wow, look at these houses by the river. really know mountains up in the distance. But yeah, this is where we are for now. This is called the swordsmith village from Demon Slayer. All right, that’s cool. Off to the next one. Ah, the the light in here is atrocious. It’s either too dark or too bright. Um, so yeah, we get an hour here. I think it only takes 25 minutes to walk to where we need to go. So that’s yeah, about 50 minutes, 10 minutes free time. There’s not really much to see around here. There was a castle and we knew where we parked, but I probably won’t get there. While I wait for everyone to go that way, here’s another angle of that bridge that I was at. How nice. You can’t go down these steps no more. But yeah, so I’m going to go down there. Now again, when I was coming to Nagoya, I’m like, should I bring my umbrella? Cuz I didn’t take it to be and I got uh soaked. I couldn’t be bothered going back to the apartment. I did check the weather forecast for here and Nagoya. It said no rain. However, I don’t know. I just felt a drop. Hopefully, it was from the water over there. But yeah, if it rains today, it’s not going to be a good time for me. As you can see, it’s a very narrow. And even though I waited, there’s still Oh, yeah. This is a co stragglers. There they drink. They’re drinking their This is cool. This is the waters of Ko. Okay. Wow, that’s a big fish just in there. This would be cool to see these lights at night. Ah, those lamp posts. That’s the photo that you get when you book this tour. This is one of the pictures. When you book this tour for this stop, you get um the photos of those lamp posts with um Yeah. So this W look at these big boys. I see orange. So remaining of this baby. What? They’re just here. Look at them all. It’s actually pretty impressive. See all these fish? Someone’s mailbox. Oh, you can actually buy seven seasons. You can buy um food for them. Wow, that’s cool. That way. I nearly got lost, but I did see people walking that way. I was just going to take the shortcut actually, which probably would have been better. Um yeah. No, it is raining a little bit. Hopefully not for long. It’s just a little spit. Um, so yeah, I think I don’t know if that was it. I think now because we’re going back the way we came, I think this stop was just to see that little river, which was nice. So, wouldn’t mind going that way, but we’re heading back to the bus already. We got about half an hour left here. As you can see, everyone’s at the bridge again. This is just a different side to where we already seen all the different bridge. Sun is really nice now. Yeah, this is nice. This actually reminds me I need to go back to Kyoto. You got the lights on this bridge. I’ll probably have the lights on the other one, too. Oh, yeah. There’s some fish in here, too. Okay. Looks like we’re going somewhere interesting now. Yeah. Look, these places don’t open till like 10:30, which you can’t blame them. It wasn’t for us here. There’s no one really else. Okay. So spring. Oh, that’s cool. Okay. Saving the best spot for last, I guess. I don’t know if you heard that. There just went my ankle. I don’t tie my shoelaces up. I’m just asking for trouble. And yeah, this is what I was talking about earlier. Why I try to stay away from the group, but can’t be helped here. It’s a small space. Oh, yeah. This is nicer than the other one. He’s got the right idea. Go down there. I’ll go to the other side. So, I think this is the last place we stop at now that there’s no one here. It’s quite nice. Quite feels like these towns are so quiet. Um there’s a lot of tour buses that come in and I guess that’s probably a good thing for them because we actually spend money here. Uh yeah, like I barely see any people walking on the streets. Like there’s the other place of interest here. Don’t have enough time to go there. My seat. It’s easier to sleep that way. But there here’s a castle. It’s still being constructed. Not being it’s getting fixed. That’s what I meant to say.

Today I’m going on a day trip I booked on Klook. We are going to explore the Gifu region by bus. The first stop is Gujo Hachiman craftsman village, which reminded me a bit of the swords man village from demon slayer. I hope you enjoy this quite little town. Also look out for the upcoming Part 2 & 3 where I will visit 2 more beautiful places.
