[Music] Hey guys, George Flor Parks After Dark. Hey, we are here at the cabins at Fort Wilderness. One of our favorite places, the new deluxe cabins renovated about a little over a year ago. You’ve seen videos of ours. We were detractors. Now we’re supporters. Let’s go through. I’ll take you through another um tour of the cabin. get a chance to see what it’s all about. It’s fantastic. Here we go. All right, guys. So, here’s our cabin. It’s 228. So, it’s on the 22nd loop in the back here. They just added those ores that say welcome home. Really cute little addition they thrown in there. Um, these are outstanding. So, the way the cabins are situated is ours faces technically the back of that cabin, so we can’t see at each other. We have some privacy. There is a cabin across the way there and a different loop that we can see each other, but what’s the big deal? Keep your curtains there. So, what’s great about these cabins is you have your own driveway. You can pull your car up. That is a um charcoal grill, which is awesome. And what’s great, too, is they have this fantastic wood porch. Now, it’s hard to tell, but there’s lighting. You might be able to see that there. There’s lighting. So, it lights the stairs. Really, very nice. Great deck, great picnic table. And in the back here, they got two like lounger chairs. And look at the very top of lounger chair. Our first hidden Mickey. Pretty nice. And what’s great is if you kind of look, it does feel very wilderness, very camping. They kept a lot of the natural trees here. We love it. So, with that said, we’re going to walk in now and we’ll take a look. So, come in the front door. Now, when you come in, this is your kitchen. And then over here is your living room. And there’s our permanent crime, Addison. It’s her birthday, by the way. Happy birthday, Addison. Okay, so kitchen, full kitchen, which is fantastic. It’s not just as Addy goes in the kitchen like she’s going to cook. So, here’s the kitchen. What’s great about being a full kitchen is you have a full stove. The old cabins had a convection oven, which was like a microwave on steroids. Not worth your time to cook if you’re actually a cooker like me. So, full full stove, cooktop, microwave, full fridge. No no dorm room fridge here. They have a coffee pot and a cure combo, which I got to tell you, that’s just that’s like a step beyond. They load you up with the coffee. They have the dishwasher, so makes it easy. That’s your kitchen. Great little kitchen. Great little dining table. Four seats right in the middle. Then it extends into the living room. Like it says, “Welcome to us.” Yay. And then they have the couch there. Now, it isn’t a couch bed. Now, the old days, they had couch beds for Disney. Disney upgraded that whole wall is a Murphy bed. There’s two handles. It pulls down and it’s basically a full bed that comes down. So, it goes from the uncomfortable couch bed Disney used to use that everybody uses to a Murphy bed. So, that’s a mattress that comes down. Super comfortable. So, two can sleep there. And then, if you keep going straight through here, you go into the bedroom. Now, there’s a door to the bedroom. And you come in, you’ll see right away you come into a a nice queen-size bed. Two more easy fits in there. And you got Chip and Dale looking over top of you, of course. But what you may not have seen when you came in was a set of bunks. Now, what was great when they redid these cabins, the old bunk beds were a little scary. Um, these are on the top you kind of felt like you were going to fall off. Yeah, these are really really done well. Um, so they’re solid. They’re bolted in. They’re really decorated. Really nice. Um, they have lights underneath each one so you can have your own reading light. Great spot. Wait, AD’s going to show us. And as you into your little bunk, it’s over there. Get behind you. It’s behind you, Ed. There it is. And there’s your little light. So now you can actually read in there, and not disturb the whole room. It’s great. You have a very nice size large screen TV. And then you have the whole closet area here. So it’s not really really bad at all. So you got two out there, two in here, two bunk beds. So six people has six people if you really like them. This is a smaller space for six. Family of four. Perfect. So you go in past here. Um there we are. Hi guys. So you have a sink on the outside here, which is great outside of where the shower and toilet is. Regular shaped mirror, which I love. It looks like kind of a log that they carved and put the mirror in. Then you come into the bathroom space. Bathroom space is great. They have another little storage area. Then they have the sink. We’ll pull in here real deep. Great lit mirror. They have the sink, toilet, and then they have the shower. What we love about the showers is, you know, if you watch our channel, it’s the rain shower. So, it is just a great shower, handheld sprayer, beautiful spot. So, and then again, Chip andale. This is Chip andale’s world where Stitch may own Polynesian. Chip and Dale owns the campgrounds. So, that is the cabin. So, really, six people, full kitchen, great outdoor deck. You’re in the middle of the woods, beautiful spot. What’s great about the cabin area is you are stones throw from the fireworks. Who will probably watch your fireworks from here from the beach that I hope you do and all the food is in the stores. um or we hop in a car and it’s 3 minutes away from here. So you are millions of miles away and yet just a couple feet from the parks. They have a cabin for the night and so we just were down and we did s’mores at the Chip andale sing along and they’re playing KTO in the big screen. It was awesome. But we’re walking back out to the car to get back to the cabin and we haven’t seen this store in a while. So, want to pop in and take a chance to look at all what they have to offer. So, let’s head on in and see. So, as we come in, we’re straight in here. Hi. So, there’s Camper Mickey with all the stuff. And then really is all the Halloween merch. So, they got the baseball jersey with with the the pumpkins and then spirit jersey. And then here is the Christmas warmers, which are awesome. Look, here’s Chipping down. Now, this is I think very special to this So, we haven’t seen that before. And then they have the pumpkin light up. Then there’s Manny. And this will end up following and finding its way home to our house at some point. It’s just so that’s the front. That’s the back. So, there’s their version Hawaiian shirt for Halloween. And then we come through here. Now, there’s a hat. Now, this hat last year, this this Mickey was actually raised off it. I didn’t like it at all. So, this is a huge improvement. But look at this. Boom. Wizard Mickey. Now, we saw Stitch the other day, and this is Wizard Mickey, which is awesome. Here’s two sets of ears that they have now. Now, we’re going to go back into the regular. That’s their Halloween merch. So, let’s go back into what makes the campground the campground. It’s this stuff. So, they have the This is a great bag. Look at that. That’s a great bag. And then for those who don’t know, Chip and Dale own this place. Own own this place. So, they have a Chip and Dale thing. Now, those remember Chip as a brown nose like a Chip and that’s Dale. There’s a great print, great sign. And you come in then you do have Smoky Bear. Why? Oh, it’s campgrounds. [Music] Look at that. It’s amazing. And then that is from Hoopdoo. And there’s an actual Hoopdoo shirt. And then we come around and there it is. Now, here is more ornaments. Obviously, not Halloween. This is all Fort Wilderness campground ornaments. And that’s a gray shirt. So, we pull back. Now, I got to tell you, honestly, it’s a great chair. Has a side table, cup holder, little place to put stuff, but $134. I find me a cheaper chair. So, you come back through and then it has all the toys. And this is this is the the other version of the bright color Fab Five pieces with the blue, the heavy blues, and all primary colors. Here’s the goofy hats and all the 55 hats, which is great. All them are there. I do have a good assortment of stuffies, but nothing too out absurd. They had the oversized graphic um characters, shirts. They still have a couple Fourth of July items here. which is great. A few lounge flies, but again, this is not what the store is about. So, this isn’t really what it’s about. So, we push back in the Halloween stuff again. I got to tell you, they’re the best pumpkins ever. That wreath is fantastic. That pumpkin is ginormous. And now they’re bringing the evil queen apples again this year. They’re great. Here’s one lit. Kind of show you what it looks like. That’s what it lit. So, we’re going to come back through and then really on the back side here as you come in and be on to your right is where all the food items are. So, since it is cabins, cabins have the full kitchen and all that. If you’re staying there, it’s not your RV, you have cooking, you have a lot of stuff to cook, but of course, you need donuts. But then they do actually have food um on either side. And then the back here, they do have your eggs, your bacon, your milk, and all that right here. is awesome. Of course, they have charcoal. In case you guys don’t know, there is a grill at every campsite, so you can get your charcoal and be able to cook outside. As we come through at the other side over here, they do have a good assortment of mugs. And there’s one that you’re not going to see anywhere else but here. That one. Only place to find it right here. They give the new pencil drawing mugs, which I think are fantastic. And then all the other ones. Oh, look at this. I haven’t seen this one before. No better way to reset. Let’s make it camping. Metal water bottles, plastic water bottles all through here. And then they do have some cook items. And then the pins and the magic bands. And that, my friends, is the store. Of course, you have to have the lollipops. Every time we got off Dumbo, we have to get a lollipop when my kids are little. We’re here now. So, listen.
